    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Firstly, TLOU2 deserves 6 but one of the most important person's death undercuts 1 point all alone. Pros of TLOU2 are graphics and the playability/style of the game. Graphics are amazing. I am pleased about the playability. You really feel punching, stabbing, killing, taking revenge or caring people in the game. Atmosphere of the game is good. Playability and graphics combined are really good as RDR2 or maybe GoW series. Sounds, npcs, communication of npcs, darkness or lightness of sections, fighting etc make you pleased. They are all good for Naughty Dog. But, cons are very bad. All of pros of the game sinks because story is very poor. When I played TLOU, I loved Joel. I really developed empathy with Joel. We saw the story of Joel and Ellie. We waited for the last section of the game which is plot of the story. I was not bored. Also the storyline of TLOU was not boring and it built up the plot of the game. It was helpful to understand the choice. Actually I think story of TLOU is better than playability. In TLOU2, it becomes reversed. I will draw attention to some points. We meet Abby in TLOU2. Abby has a story. Abby is a protagonist in TLOU2 and this story affects our game experience. Because of her story we lost an important person. It is a concious choice of Mr. Druckmann. I dont like it. TLOU affects GoW series. They adapted daughter/son-father road story, they go from somewhere to somewhere. You follow them and somethings come up. You fight and kill and escape and run. End of the story/game, you should be pleased because of game experience. One of initial section, the person is killed by the new person and you are shocked. TLOU's sole developed empathy figure for me is dead. I really do not understand this choice. OK. You are in revenge stories. I do not empathy Abby or other people. Druckmann does not succeed and i also think it is concious choice. But, I saw this in game all the way, someone has revenge story, someone kills somebody, we saw teeneger love stories, someone has revenge story because of death of somebody, someone goes across the states, they fought and there goes nothing. This storyline has no interest for me. We found a child in this chaos, Lev. This child is a kind of Ellie from TLOU and Abby is a Joel figure. But, in TLOU, we saw Joel lost his daughter and then he met Ellie. Road story of them makes us felt empathy. We understood one by one of their stories with feelings. We hugged them. But, in the Abby and Lev situation, i did not. Story does not work. Ok, Abby is a caring person and Lev is a sibling for her, but that is it. No more understanding, no more feeling. I just played TLOU2. That is one of the worst choice of story. I must understand them, I must feel so much things, I wish that I like Abby, Lev and Abby - Lev siblinghood because of story and storyline. Second of worst choice of story is brutality for nothing sometimes. For instance, we found someones and we want to help them for what reason. This section of stories we killed 50 people for 1 person because we want to help. The theme of TLOU2 is love is the most important thing, love is precious, life of person is important so i must help him. But we killed hundreds. This, my friends, is ludonarrative dissonance. Also check ludonarrative dissonance. Story wants to help us understanding the theme, but gameplay wants lots of death. This is a contradiction. It does not help the game, on the contrary, it makes the game bad. I am really feeling awful. I replayed TLOU because of story. I loved the game because of story. Gamers loved TLOU because of story. In the end, they have no choice to screw up the story and storyline. But they achieved it. Thank you Druckmann.

    I have no problem Abby, Lev or killing Joel in the story, yeah I have to say it. Really. But if you kill Joel , you have to build up something too good. We just saw killing instead of very good storyline. We saw ludonarrative dissonance. They are not in a fantasy world, they want to make a realistic world as they can. Like Lara Croft, we played as powerful girl and if we are in a danger, we can kill the bad people or hit and run from the situation. In Tomb Raider series, we faced tough situtions, We fought thugs. Because they are bad people in the game. For example, in TLOU2, we left our team for saving Lev and we object Lev's commune. Because Lev is in a danger, Lev will be killed so I (Abby) have to save Lev. This is ok, this is a good reason. Abby's team and Lev's commune clashes. But we killed so much people at that moment. Those people also are someone's a father, mother, sibling or relative in ridicilous way. Not good.

    Also, TLOU2 does not highlight SJW or LGBTI +. Ellie and Dina have a relationship which is very good one and they have a very cute baby. This is normal. And then some jerks said Abby is transgender individual, so it is wrong. Evils are evils. I did not feel disturbed and I don't mind any of things. I think TLOU2 has not that kind of a goal.    … Expand

    This game spends a solid 10 hours making choices for you and forcing you towards certain actions.they also wasted 10 hrs on the game making you play as a character that to most fans is irrelevant, annoying, obscure and honestly not very relatable since we haven’t met them in the previous game, they just cropped up now. No story driven game made me this frustrated

    If I could give them more than just money...
    With a truly exceptional setting, narrative and gameplay, TLOU2 is a masterpiece. I did not expect any of the things that were about to happen, and it surely took me out of my comfort zone.
    Narratives usually give us a nice story, where good things happen at the end and the characters I care about are heroic and brave and fulfill my    If I could give them more than just money...

    Narratives usually give us a nice story, where good things happen at the end and the characters I care about are heroic and brave and fulfill my expectations and prejudices.
    But the last of us 2 gives us realistic HUMAN characters dealing they have to deal with a ruthless fictional universe.
    At many points while playing I was relieved a situation was over, only to be followed by a more emotional difficult situation ahead and this could be perceived throughout the game.
    If you do something your Character doesn't like, you will notice changes in the body language of the character. This attention to detail makes the game a masterpiece in every aspect.
    I could relate a lot to all the characters and situations.
    This journey will accompany and haunt me for many years. And I cannot thank enough the developers of the game for doing their thing.

The story choices sucked, instead of using the already existing depth of the characters, they killed Joel and pushed aside Tommy, new characters have zero depth, Ellie was turned into a punk with anger issues, most of the dialogues and the acting that comes with them were cring and awkward accept of Joel and Tommy, the game play was boring adn repetitive except few sequences, there was nothing original in terms of the game play, except the guitar thing, the puzzles ... were lame and so easy and they felt like fillers, the AI was terrible, you are literally side by side with the enemy yet they don't detect you, I didn't like the pacing of it, the music was not impressive, the graphics were awesome I'll give them that but we have already seen games with that level of detail such as DS, character design same **** from the old game, weapons and system management is exactly the same as the previous game, They didn't even explain the world conflict in any depth and I felt lost , it felt so one-dimensional. it was trash!

    Loved the rich Story ( pulls on all emotions and isn’t afraid to push the boundaries of risks ), Gameplay and mechanics are excellent, amazing graphics. I couldn’t get enough of this game since it released, had to keep playing several hours each day and finished it.. replayed it on survival mode and made the challenge even more real ( played on normal mode to start with )..     This game is just perfect. The graphic, sound, music and design is simply unrivaled and it its the best you can get on PS4. The gameplay is also very fun but more old proven formula than innovative.
    But what make this game so good is its story. The storytelling is really on the level of movie or book - characters, feelings, motivations, characters developing in time.

The gameplay is so good as well. New stuff like the rope mechanic (simply wow!) is completely new for me in gaming. Melee fighting has improved so much compared to the first game, I love it! But on to the story and how it develops. How cool is it to see same sex relationships develop, to see and play as two different sides of the apocalypse. In most games the story is good versus evil, this game ditches that completely. You’re in the grey area. One moment you root for Ellie, the next moment you hate her for her actions.     Had my review deleted too many times to bother with it again, all the **** you heard about it is true, thats what matters. Props for the production quality, the people who worked on the technical side of the game should stop wasting their considerable talents working for such garbage studio.

    Naughty Dog has made it again. One of the best videogames I've ever played, without a doubt one of the games of the generation.
    More and better than the first in almost every aspect. Technically it is sublime, a new ceiling in the industry at all levels. It's long -more than 30 hours in the first playthrought-, and the characters and the plot catches you -unless you are a hater oc-.

    Titanic work. The best graphics, animations, details, advanced gameplay in the spirit of the first part, and especially for me, a real live story that causes you real emotions, turns your worldview. No other game evokes such feelings. The finale just makes you feel cathartic. True masterpiece. All other games are now kindergarten.

    Simplesmente Perfeito! Concordo que tem alguns furos no roteiro, porém quem está dando nota muito baixa com certeza é por ser preconceituoso e não ter gostado da morte de um personagem importante no começo do jogo, a qual pra mim deu mais peso e profundidade para a história .

    Fantastic game. Improved game controls from the first one that fixed lack of intuition. Story was compelling, touched on modern issues of gender and sexuality allowing it be normalised and without trying to shove it down players throats as an attention grabber.

The graphics, the animation, the mechanics, everything was awesome, the story at the beginning is frustrating but while you are playing you get more and more and more excited, but it stop when you take the control of Abby, i understand the message of the game that was, no one is safe, no one has an heroic end, everybody can die at any time, and the developing of Ellie of her decisions and her thirst of revenge while you start understanding the past of Abby, and when Ellie loses everything, God, you start to reflect with yourself, it's just, Wow, there are other things that are good and bad, but honestly if you start to think clearly what you've just played, is a masterpiece, Please if you read this, take a moment to think about it and review this game what it deserves, thanks and nice done Naughty Dog… Expand

Its hard to put on words but i understand what the creators intended to potray with the story. In the end even though i didnt like Abby i sure was not okey with Ellies desicions so i tried to let her kill me. Its interesting to feel this switch of perspective. I wad hoping for that ending and got it in a more cruel but real way. Anyhow, even if u hate the story and what they did to Joel this game doenst deserve a 0 at all. Game mechanics and art are amazing so from someone that didnt enjoy it genuenly a 5 or 6 would be understandable.… Expand

Después de los sucesos del primer juego es de imaginar que algo grande se espera, pero este nuevo juego se hace pasar como si fuera un capítulo sin meterte y llegar a estimar a los personajes como en el primero. "La prensa especializada" puede dar una opinión, pero sólo son un puñado comparado con los millones que aman el juego.     This game is not good. It has a 2/10 story with 6/10 gameplay. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but if you want to waste 30 hours with bad storytelling, a bit of bad level design, fetch quests, suggish combat, occasional enemy spam, but some good horror + good setpieces, have a ball.

    Almost as good as the original, which I rate as my favorite of all time. A really depressing game that came out during COVID - but a must play when you’re in the right mood. Is it as happy as the first one, no. Is it a story worth telling, absolutely.

    Never have I ever experienced a game that moved me so profoundly. Such an unbelievable accomplishment. It is a highly immersive world that engages you and moves you with each beat. The game made me mad, cry, smile, mad again, cry again and smile again and the cycle went on. The visual storytelling, environmental storytelling and the cutscenes each had such a strong way of conveyingNever have I ever experienced a game that moved me so profoundly. Such an unbelievable accomplishment. It is a highly immersive world that engages you and moves you with each beat. The game made me mad, cry, smile, mad again, cry again and smile again and the cycle went on. The visual storytelling, environmental storytelling and the cutscenes each had such a strong way of conveying emotions that it made me realize what an amazing medium of art video game development is. I loved the graphics, the detail in the world, the accessibility options, the gameplay loop as well. It was such a strong and intense experience and it really did make me realize why I love Naughty Dog so much. Seems like another win for an awesome team of game developers.     Albeit the gameplay felt slightly old, with a few tropes we've seen before, the story never ceases to hurt and engage you, first by antagonizing your enemies, and then, believably and effortlesly convincing you of their humanity, making    Just finished the game, and wow, just wow.
    Narratively unlike anything ever done on videogames, heartbreaking, haunting, im literally crying on my bed.
    Albeit the gameplay felt slightly old, with a few tropes we've seen before, the story never ceases to hurt and engage you, first by antagonizing your enemies, and then, believably and effortlesly convincing you of their humanity, making you question your heroes and purpouse and reflecting on the purpouse of revenge and the power of perspective. We're so used to a world of videogames focused on brainless blind-button-mashing-murder, that is refreshing when certain games bring about the oportunity to reflect - reminding me of Undertale in this subject.
    Due to the gameplay, for about 80% of the game it felt like a solid 8, 8.5, but the final stretch was just devastating, surely a game i won't ever forget. This not only expands on the legacy of the first game, but sets a new standard for the series, and for video game storytelling and acting in general.

    PS. All you whiny kids who didnt play the game, or cant handle the fact gender issues are a fact of life, or feel entitled to have your perspective on these characters persist in your fantasies, go write fan fiction, and not metacritic reviews. Of go play CoD and just give up on growing up. Anyone giving this game less than a 7 is acting in bad faith - the game is bugless, the gameplay is at the very least enjoyable, the acting is top-notch and the writing is phenomenal (NO EXPOSITION PEOPLE, OMG)    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Played it (didn't pay for it , gameshare with a friend here) and to be honest. It was a meh not thaaat bad but not even good. The gameplay is the same from TLOU 1 , with the twist that now you can actually prone and jump at your own will. It's basically the same except now you have nicer graphics which imo isn't even important (Minecraft has one of the best rating and we are talking about pixelated graphics there). The story isn't even good. It's pretty mediocre and I'm not talking just about the golfing scene. It's everything , the side characters basically disappear from the game after they die , like if the have never existed. In Tlou1 when Tess dies she is mentioned plenty of times after that happens , here when a character dies that isn't thaaat important or relevant it just goes into oblivion. The writting is bad , the chars don't have the same feel like how it was in TLOU1. The "revelation" scene with Joel and Ellie is awful , not even emotional. It was a sequel nobody wanted, or at least it could have been just about Abby. Since almost 75% of the story with Abby is a "new" version of the journey with Joel and Ellie. It has an awful story , yeah it has an "un-predictable ending" but at the same time it makes the story even worse , Ellie kills tons of people , a dog , etc. Then "revenge is bad" , if we saw that in a different scenario like John Wick , RDR2 , RDR1 , etc it would be pointless and underwhelming , and this is the case for TLOU 2. Final note : I'm not even mad , it's a game. Even so, the game is pretty bad and it was disapointing. I'm sorry for the cast, since their VAs are awesome , but man the writting of this game is bad , very very bad.… Expand

This part is about revenge, where things go ugly and the people who suffer the most are always innocent. Ellie and Abby are so similar yet so different. The game shows you that this revenge path is a circle, which will unavoidably lead to more suffering and pain. People who did not like this game just did not try to understand it. I see so many reviews about how they will not complete the game, how they are not willing to sympathise with Abby and listen to her part of the story. This game is not about LGBT, muscular woman, pregnant woman or transgenders. If you just try to listen to whatever this game is trying to teach you, wait for a bit and carry on playing till the very end, you will see that the details of the lgbt and all of that does not matter. Lev and Yara are amazing characters no matter what.
    Do not ruin your game experience with limiting your emotion spectrum to the level of a tea bag. Listen first to what game is trying to teach you and then write your review.
    The reason why I liked this game is very simple yet it took me to realise that. This game is deep. It tells you so much yet leaves the analytical part to yourself. This is why many people thought that the game is wrong. They just never gave it a second thought. And this game needs more than just one extra thought. I read many comments and saw enough reviews to understand that many people just treated it as a game, not the story that you analyse and understand, just another game. I see that many people did not understand what the first part was all about and they carried this misunderstandings to the second part and therefore understood nothing and ended up hating the game and ruining one of the best playing experiences you can ever have just playing a game.
    If you are ready to listen, to learn about what the game is trying to tell you, if you have patience to learn then you should definitely give this game a go. I would recommend it to anyone, except for kids, this game has way to many violence and is too deep for kids to play, they will not understand **** about this game and end up writing a negative review.

    The graphics are superb and animation transitions were extremely real. During my playthrough I didn't experience any glitches or gaming breaking bugs, the only thing that bothered me were the checkpoints during encounters, the game creates a checkpoint after each enemy kill, probably for those who want to go on without challenges. Later in the game I found the option to restart the entire encounter which in my opinion should be displayed more prominently. The frame-rate is solid on the Playstation Pro, although I wish there was the option for 1080p60fps which would benefit the graphics by an immense amount.

Choices should be given to the players to decide on what the outcome of the story. One word: Flashbacks? seriously Naught Dog? Master of story telling in Uncharted 4 and TLOU, decided to use a flashback to justify an important character action in this game. This is lazy story writing and simply cant be justifiable by just blaming all players homophobic. Now we all know fractions will be its standalone but nonetheless it is cut from the main game. So the $60 you pay for this game is gonna be less of a game compare to the first one. With the heavy weight on its shoulder, I am sorry TLOU2 simply isn't good enough. Also, it is just wrong to blame the players. Maybe you should try listening to their feedback instead of justifying for your own bad story writing. Please stop pushing agendas which is clouding your judgement and making good quality games. Be the naughty dog that everyone loves, instead of this emo, hate provoking teenager like Ellie in this game. You used to make master piece, Uncharted 4 remember? If you want the praise from everyone, you need to earn their trust again. There are some scenes which imo very unnecessary to be included such as the sex scenes and the execution scenes. It’s lawless it’s hopeless and beyond redemption. It is a mirror of the first game in the aspect that the original painted beauty in struggle and at times desolation. It gave us hope in Ellie, a bright animated girl who biologically represented salvation for the human race at the brink of extinction. It gave us redemption in Joel who at the time was plagued and broken with grief. These characters go through so much and yet the game leads you on with hope. Even in the apocalypse , the little things in life will keep us going. Even if it’s hard, we will survive. I think it’s important to remember that the original game ends on a lie. Not just a simple lie but one in fact that plagues the world of the hope of ever returning the world to normal. To us and Joel, Ellie is salvation and redemption and comfort. Joel’s lie has irreparable consequences. Even more irreparable are the actions he takes to “save” Ellie. With Ellie alive, the “hope” we have believed in gets taken from us.. Everything gets taken from us. There is nothing left saving. Our parallel characters are drawn to the grief, madness, violence, that has all but consumed this world because that is what life has become. I think it’s important to understand that Joel has only been good to a select few people since the collapse of the world. As lovable as he is our quiet cowboy step daddy isn’t a good person. In this world, no one is. No relief comes from Abbys “revenge” there is no release. Abby and Ellie both continue to “lose” until the climax of this game. I really enjoyed how badass both were as fate sends them on a warpath headed straight towards each other. Ellie a Savvy and cunning survivalist, stalking, ambushing, and outsmarting her enemies. Abby a walking tank of a woman ripping and tearing through everything with an Arsenal. They kill. A lot . For what? Nothing. This game is bleak, it’s nihilistic, it’s depressing. Full of touching moments but they are taken from us. The game never loses its tension and uneasiness throughout and the gameplays loop is satisfying. The world is fantastically beautiful and the combat is some of the grittiest action, stealth I’ve ever played. I can understand where the hate can come from. I think naughty dog made a wise decision not to follow the hype train or cater to the fans of the first game. They told their story how they wanted to, for better or worse. As for the controversial ending I think it’s justifiable given how tired, and hurt these characters are and what they’ve been through to that point and what there is to gain from all of it which is absolutely nothing. Nothing they do changes circumstances they’ve been put in. Nothing will bring back the dead. Most importantly they’ve both fallen into situations that might change the future for both of them. I believe it’s something they both deserved to see, hence the ending. To me, that makes perfect sense. I think Tlou2 is the perfect continuation to the decision made in the the first game. One that paints the consequences of actions in a visceral way. I think it’s a stepping stone and a great set piece to a great possible conclusion to this world and story in terms of a trilogy. One that I hope to see and hope naughty dog can pull off amid all the sometimes unwarranted hate precedent in the current climate of gamer culture. They took a risk with the unorthodox story telling and I personally applaud them for it. A lot people went in expecting more TLOU and that’s not a bad thing. But part 2 makes both stand out as 2 separate entities as naughty dog didn’t stray or hesitate to make their world and story as unrelenting and desolate as it actually would be. I had a ride and my emotions were everywhere on the spectrum. I think no matter what, this game will make you FEEL something. If it does, no matter whatever it is you feel, regardless of if you like it or not, it has succeeded.… Expand

I feel the user scores are down because a lot of people didn’t like the ending and some of the decisions made by the main character.     Gameplay wise, the game is great. Graphics, animations and everything related to technical stuff is great aswell. Naughty Dog does an amazing job in that sense, just like they did with Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us 1.

    But the story in this game is terrible. Period. I only give the game a 7/10 because of the gameplay and technical stuff I mentioned before, because, story wise, it is a 3/10 at max. I'm okay with Joel dying because many games kill their main character, and it's fine as long as it means something, but the problem is that here his death is for nothing. Why does Ellie forgive Abby? Because 'killing is bad and revenge is bad'? How about the hundreds of people Ellie killed while searching for Abby then? Makes no sense.

    Finally, the 10 hours we are forced to play as Abby are simply boring. I'm not interested in her. The game tries to make you bond with Abby by making her play with dogs and showing her human side and her conflicts. Look, I understand everyone has a human side and their reasons and motivations, but she killed one of my favorite characters, sorry but I'm not going to bond with her.    … Expand

    I was anticipating this game greatly, however as trailers came out and later videos discussed the relationship of Cckman and sarkasien(however it is spelled) and their agenda made me wary. Then the spoilers came, then the lockings and bannings, eventually the game is out and we all see that the leaks were true. The disgusting nature of the writing and story is something that most people find repulsive, as the current 20000 positive to 40000 negative reviews show as well.(At the time of my writing, it took this **** website nearly 2 months ALLOWING me to post a negative review on this crap)

    Since the shills are out in numbers, and are giving 10s it is only fair that this game gets 0s too in response. My actual score would be about 3, it is an extremely boring and tedious game with hardly any action and way too much downtime. I wouldn't recommend it. It simply pales in comparison to the first game, and compared to that it is indeed a 3 at best. Cckman got everyone fired, Naughty Dog is not what it was in the ps3 era. And it will only get worse as time goes by and we enter the ps5 era.

    Get the heck out of here with your SJW(communist) agenda, cultural revolution and eventual genocide.

    I love Part I with every fiber of my being as it's a 10/10 game for me. Beaten it on grounded countless times and still play it from time to time. The story touched my heart and moved my unlike any medium in my life. Joel and Ellie were one of the best game duos I've had the pleasure of experiencing. The game's story was simple but the way it drove character development was something I've yet to see in a video-game. The characters were stellar and were the highlight of the game. The game-play felt raw and somewhat clunky but still really friggin fun and challenging. Needless to say I was waiting for Part II with as much excitement as I could have. Did it deliver? Well sadly no. What happened with Part II's story-telling feels like a theme brought to life no matter the cost, bending the characters to do its biding, The game relies on suspension of disbelief to the point you stop bothering to think anymore because the more you do, the more of a headache you get. This is a game that consistently and relentlessly punishes you for the actions you are forced to commit. So after hours of being beaten with a hammer to the head on how bad you should feel, you just stop caring anymore. The dissonance is so potent in this game that you feel the game writer's strings trying to manipulate you into feeling what the want. And do you? Well no, it does the opposite as it feels artificial and forced, and so doesn't deliver it's message. Don't get me started on the false advertising and trying to market this game as a Joel and Ellie game. You guys didn't have the guts to show it for what it was but you wanted to milk that dough, didn't you? Here's a tip. If something is not in your game, don't show it, will ya? It's really odd to me how one makes a game that is supposed to consciously divide the fan-base and then acts surprised when it happens. Well **** what did you guys expect? Now let me address the elephant in the room. Joel's death. Some people will say: 'ha, you're obviously just mad about it, get over it sucker and enjoy the game'. The decision was stupid because such a pivotal moment should have been constructed better. It betrays the intelligence of Tommy and Joel, and immediately throws Abby under the bus in terms of the player empathizing with her. I understand her motivations, but I never cared for her. If the game started with her build her up as someone who's got a goal I can sympathize with and then made her clash with the Jackson team, then that would be some good drama. That would have made me torn between the characters. Instead I got to walk around across Seattle doing pointless side-quest detours filled with exposition. Really boring stuff. Anyway game-play wise it's pretty good, you can see the improvements although I've had more bugs and glitches in Part II than Part I. The game also looks beautifully and the setpieces and level design is stellar. If all I cared for was that though, I would have gotten one of them Call Of Duty games or something and called it a day. It all comes down to the story man. And except for a couple of Ellie and Joel related flashbacks the story doesn't move me one bit.… Expand

    Ok, i finally finished my second playthrough of the game and i have to say its still a really good game. The story is pretty good written and interesting because it shows what are the results of your actions through out the story. I also really like many of the new characters such as Jesse, Dina, Owen, etc but the gamealso has some flaws. I don't really liked that aspect, because the set pieces suffer from it in my opinion, the story is also a bit tooo long in some parts wich brings a bad pacing with it and the last big problem i had with the game was that, even if i liked the characters a lot there was missing a bit of interactions between them. Overall i really liked the last of us part 2… Expand

Il gioco è tecnicamente ineccepibile ed il gameplay è buono, ma niente di sconvolgente, un “more of the same” rispetto al primo episodio. I trailer iniziali vengono totalmente stravolti dal gioco completo, tradendo le aspettative dei fan, siamo ai limiti della pubblicità ingannevole. A pesar de algunas incongruencias en la historia, disfruté mucho el juego de principio a fin, las nuevas mecánicas con la ambientación, los sonidos y con el excelente apartado gráfico son espectaculares no hay tema de discusión ahí, con respecto a la historia estoy de acuerdo con muchas personas acerca de la muerte de Joel, fue muy apresurado y la manera en que murió por mas que se lo merecía me pareció que no fue la adecuada, ademas pensé que al menos jugaríamos más de una vez con el, y el final como que te deja muy pensativo de si Abby merecía morir o no, en fin felicitar a Naughty Dog por todo el tiempo que se tomaron en hacer este juego.… Expand

The story pushes boundaries that we aren’t comfortable with. The world of The Last of Us is brutal and unforgiving. To think that Joel wouldn’t face any consequences after his actions in the conclusion of the first game is ridiculous. He slaughtered dozens of people as well as murdered the only person who could make a vaccine. Don’t get me wrong, Joel is my favorite and I’d love for him to have had a happier ending, but I’m also not naive in thinking that just because he is a main character he is invincible. The dual story lines is something that helps put you in the perspective of everyone involved. Abby had just as much validation for her actions as Joel did for his. The representation of LGBTQ+ characters is also something I personally feel is amazing. Anyone who discredits these characters because of their sexual orientation has no right to play this game and are unwanted in this fan base. Do not let early leaks of this game deter you from the fact that it is incredible. Play the game for yourself before forming an opinion, don’t just go off of what some bitter strangers on the internet said.… Expand

    First ever preorder did not regret it. This game has it emotional highs and lows but I still loved it as it was everything I expected minus the multiplayer aspect really wish they return to this franchise for a suitable part 3 to end a great franchise the proper way as so much still left to uncover, Sony did it again!

This is a purely objective analysis and not rage at the mishandling of characters or whatever. First, the good. The game looks phenomenal. Combat is tense and exciting especially early on. TLOU2 is at its best when you are ducking and weaving in and out of buildingsNever written a review before but felt compelled to write one for this game.     The rest of the game unfortunately falls short. The game is broken down into two activities. You're either walking around looking for scraps or engaged in combat. This loop gets repetitive since the game is quite long. Combat is slow and methodical so it eventually begins to drag till you throw stealth out the window and just start beating everything with a bat. It's also a bit easy. I played on the hard difficulty and found melee to be laughably overpowered.

    I suppose Last of Us is more about experiencing the story, the world, and the characters. Sadly, the story is dull. The characters are extremely unlikable, and nothing really happens. It's just a series of events strung together on the basis of one plot point.

    I played the first game and hold it in high regard. I'll be honest, i got 15 hours in on this one and couldn't handle anymore. I was just so bored I ended up deleting it from my console with no intention of going back    … Expand

    La primera mitad del juego es brutal, aunque la historia avanza lento ,va por buen camino,el gameplay muy entretenido,frenético y violento. Luego todo se derrumba con el anticlimax que te hace devolverte 3 días y jugar con abby,el cual es un personaje de lo más plano que existe y que te intentan vender que es bueno cuando termina siendo igual o peor persona de lo que fue joel. The only thing that can stand out is the quality of the animations in the cinematics, because in the playable section the graphics at simultaneous moments look mediocre, which leads me to think that in the visual section, the PS4 was not suitable to run The Last of Us 2. The truth is, I think the best thing Naughty Dog can do is leave this series behind, since they have no plans to change this game with another decent installment.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
