    I have played the first part and it was such an amazing experience but the second part has not done justice for it's name sake.

    I invested one week of my life in this game and I'm disappointed and feel that it was a terrible experience

    Very good game point of view of story. The story is even more complex as in Part I. I have some ideas what to do different in storyline, but overall it is very good game.

    An absolute waste if my time, this game doesn't even come close to the first one. I wanted to play this game for ellie and joul not a golf game with ma'am and incredibly uninteresting characters with horrible pacing that left me confused to what I was even doing for the 2nd half of the game.

Never in any book, any movie, any tv show and any game. I don't know why these developers felt that that would be a good idea. And then they expect me to play this murderer for the next half of the game... uhhh nope. I'll try to get her killed instead because I don't care about her.

    And that long prolonged sex scene. It's obvious they only added it and purposely made it as gross and disgusting as possible to troll people... their audience... their paying customers... wtf. Do they want money or not?

    Trash game. I won't be preordering the next one which is where most of their sales came from.    … Expand

I was initially mad at the game and was going to bomb it, but after giving myself some time to think about it, it really is more than what most of the haters are saying. It's not shallow, it's not badly written, it's a complete story that was just told in an incoherent way. I understood what the game's message was and while I don't agree withIts not perfect, but its not that bad either. The gameplay is quite cinematic and fluid , but doesn't do enough to distinguish itself from the revered first entry it's absolutely a 7/10 for me , the story is where this game falls apart characters from the first game make some questionable decisions not resembling their previous choices and the new characters the game introduces aren't memorable or well developed enough to have an impact , also the plot is needlessly bleak and let me tell you this is not an easy game to play , its downright harrowing at times and that goes for the ending too which is bleak for it's own sake nor there's any feeling of contentment and not to serve the story in any meaningful way , it has to be a 5/10 for me and for a series that was revered for its amazing story that's a disappointment,.The first game is my favorite game of all time and I'm sad to see this is where they took they took the story… Expand

    I've beaten this game 3 times already, I don't get the hate. Enjoyed it more than the first game. The story is bold and the gameplay is much improved over the original.One of the best games of the year.

    Beyond Good and Evil. Another masterpiece by Naughty Dog, huge amount of details, excelent gameplay and above all a story that will make you love or hate for the characters, everyone has their reasons. It's a game about vengence and dealing with the consequences. Last of us Part 2 makes you believe you can either be the hero or the villain.

    The graphics, the details and the gameplay in this game are unmatched almost flawless. Other than that everything else is very disappointing almost makes you angry. What a shame. It should have ended with the first game.

I have mixed feelings about this game, the graphics are stunning and the gameplay is great however the story could've been written a lot better than what was put out, literally a slap in the face to the beloved characters of the first game and the fans. However this story had some amazing moments when it came to the Ellie's flashbacks with Joel, and listening to Ellie play the guitar. The game felt very realistic while in combat which was amazing... but the time i spent playing as Abby felt so dragged out i kept taking constant breaks, it seems like the game tries to make us all like Abby but for most of us that was never the case. Also part of this game just felt like nothing but a message, please keep politics out of video games and let people enjoy themselves.… Expand

    Great game, very thought provoking. Before you hate on this game, I implore you to play through it yourself and think through why you don’t like it. If you’re angry at the game, you’re proving the game’s lessons correct. Keep your heart and mind open while playing and you’ll have a eye opening story.

    El juego está excelente en cuanto a mecánicas, detalles, jugabilidad, paisajes y "realismo". La historia no está mal del todo, de hecho es muy buena, lo único que hace que reciba malas críticas es que tiene un argumento diferente al que se esperaba ya desde hace años de su anunciamiento.

    In the first game as Joel, I could put myself in his place and picture myself doing the same, anything to save Ellie in the end.
    But in this game... A LOT of the things the characters do make NO sense to me.

    Maybe this is one of those games that would benefit from multiple choices in the ending, I dunno.
    I could NEVER let Abby go, and I never really enjoyed playing as her, it felt completely forced "revenge is bad", witness the other side, etc, shenanigans.

    This game is a sequel, I wanted to see things from Ellie, Joel, Dina and their friends and settlement.
    Even Joel's death didn't bother that much, life in the apocalypse is tough and sometimes the worst enemies are people, I get it.

    As Ellie, I'd probably never leave Dina alone with the baby, but I understand Ellie was suffering from severe PTSD, so... ok I suppose.

    But then, by the end when we find Abby, I wouldn't even cut her loose, I'd just stab her in the gut while she was in the 'pillar' and walk away...
    Or if Ellie insisted in a duel, I could do that and the game could end with either one dead.
    Or just shoot her after she took us to the boats and sail away probably shooting Lev as well... I wouldn't wan't any Abby's friend around.

    TL;DR: There is no way in my mind I can see Ellie (or myself as Ellie) not killing Abby or die trying.    … Expand

    Well, where to begin. The Last of Us Part II is quite the complicated game. First things first, the graphics look out of this world. The fact that it’s running on a PS4/PS4 Pro and it looks like a next gen game, is just amazing. Now, subjectively, this games story isn’t badly written, it’s just very badly paced and and feels like it isn’t in the correct order. Reasons being that in mostWell, where to begin. Now, subjectively, this games story isn’t badly written, it’s just very badly paced and and feels like it isn’t in the correct order. Reasons being that in most story’s you have a rising climax. In this game there is a rising climax, and at the midpoint where the rising climax gets even bigger, in this game the rising climax drops down completely at the midpoint, and is like this for a good few hours, until it immediately rises back up again. It goes up and down a few time’s before the ending, making this game, from a subjective standpoint, bad. But, for some reason, for me that didn’t effect me. I was still engaged with this game, I still wanted to play it, I wanted to complete my goal as Ellie. I was utterly and completely hooked on this game. And, to this games credit, once I finished this game and the credits rolled.. I sat there, motionless. I didn’t feel sad, nor did I feel anger, happiness or anything of the sorts. I felt empty. I felt completely empty. And no other game I have played made me feel this. And, also this game is by far the most emotional i’ve been playing a game. I cried and sobbed A LOT, and if you loved the first game like me, chances are you’ll feel emotional all through out the story also. Another big issue this game faced was its pacing. It’s all over the place. Like I mentioned. At around the mid way point, instead of the action getting more and more, it dropped, and you became less gripped by the story. The first 10 or so hours of the game will have you gripped, and you won’t want to stop playing, but after that you dont feel as engaged as previously. I feel if the game was structured in a different way, it would have been much more fun to play, and have you gripped through out the whole story.

    Moving away from story. The gameplay in this is absolutely phenomenal. Every encounter you play whether it be against humans or the infected, you always have this feeling of dread or fear while you hide (or go guns blazing, depending on your play style) around the tall grass or under the cars as you try to get a sneak attack on someone, or something. The gameplay is like the first game, but better. This game flows much better, the gun play feels better, stealth has been built up on, and like the previous game, it gives you the feeling that you are in an apocalypse with little ammo.

    Of course, there is a moment that has divided the fan base. I won’t tell you what to believe, but all I will say is power through to the end, it way change your thoughts, or solidify your thoughts. If you’re a fan of this game, you’re either going to love it, or despise it. I happen to be the former, it’s a wonderful piece of art and one of my favourite games, as well as its predecessor. If this game wins GOTY 2020, I’d say that it’s well deserved. Well done naughty dog, you did it again.    … Expand

    Very good job. Really one of the best games I've ever played. If you're looking for a story about REAL humans — this is the best choice. There are no 100% good or 100% bad persons. You feel really sorry about everything and everyone. No, clearly, I clicked pause for a couple of times, because I couldn't help myself and cried and cried and cried.

    When Abby's part begins, it quickly becomes obvious that the game is more like a two-in-one short games instead of just one long game. This is because none of the upgrades and improvements gained for Ellie carry over to Abby, With Abby the game starts anew, even to the point of introducing new weapons, along with reset upgrades and improvements. Abby will need to be leveled up just like Ellie was.

    So considering this, I'd suggest anyone to play the game all the way to when Abby is introduced again, and stop there for a couple of weeks. Go play something else, then return after a while, because you'll be returning to the "3rd game" in the series.    … Expand

    Este es junto a Red Dead Redemption 2 el top técnico de la generación. La inversión en transiciones, movimiento, AI y detalles hasta lo enfermizo, hacen de The last of us 2 uno de los grandes imprescindibles de todos los tiempos.

The gameplay is also a ton of fun with the different weapons, items, stealth gameplay, movement, etc. As good as all of those things are I didn't love the story. I didn't hate the story but I do think it does drag on a bit at some points and I got annoyed at the number of flashbacks. If you ignore her killing Joel I actually like Abby and I think that playing through her story was a bit better than the revenge monster that Ellie turned into. After I finished the game I immediately deleted it but after having a few weeks off I'm thinking about installing it again just for the combat and gameplay which I guess says something.… Expand

Com relação a história/enredo a desenvolvedora foi corajosa e original, criando algo nunca visto antes no mundo dos games, nos proporcionando sentimentos inéditos, ódio, muito ódio por um personagem, tristeza e dor por outro, o gosto de veneno doce de executar uma vingança, a pausa pra reflexão, o perdão, até chegarmos no final e sentirmos a sensação de vazio, a lição que a vida teima em nos ensinar que as coisas são passageiras e que tudo que teremos no final são as boas lembranças, o Joel mais uma vez é o melhor personagem da historia, os novos são muito bons, e a Ellie não precisa nem falar nada, mais madura, e mais forte ainda.
    Os jogos costumam funcionar dentro de um paradigma básico: quanto mais você joga e avança, mais você ganha.
    TLOU Part II quebrou um paradigma e tirou muita gente da zona de conforto ao que quanto mais você joga, mais você perde. No final, você perde tudo, se sente vazio. E não é a Ellie que se sente vazia, é você, jogador. É você que sente o peso de tudo o que aconteceu. Por isso é tão doloroso.

    É um sentimento que muitos não vão gostar, e vão preferir voltar aos jogos que te premiam por destruir tudo e matar todo mundo. Mas ninguém pode dizer que TLOU Part II é um jogo ruim.

    Ele prometeu realismo. Ele entregou.

    Tomara que saia a Part Final no Ps5 pra fechar essa saga que se tornou uma das melhores da historia.    … Expand

Tudo é pesado, é incrível, A Abby funciona muito bem na história, os novos personagens são incríveis, interessantes, eu me sinto vendo um filme, eu fico com dó de matar alguém, fico arrependido assim como acontece com ambas, elas entram em um buraco muito fundo, questionando sua humanidade, tentando se redimir, mas a fúria, a necessidade de uma vingança, vai consumindo a humanidade delas e você vai acompanhando e sentindo aquilo, dificilmente o mundo vai presenciar um jogo tão realista, tanto em questões gráficas, quanto em profundidade de personagens e enredo, não é perfeito, mas tá lá no topo, jogo do ano 2020… Expand

    This was one of the best games that I have ever played. The characters and themes are unlike any that I have encountered in the video game medium. It honestly elevates the medium to the level of great literature. Not every great story is necessarily a happy one and this one can be emotionally brutal at times. I am on my third playthrough and am enjoying more than I did the first time through.

Trust me most people I have spoke with who avoided spoilers then played the game loved it. Personally, I understand the hate but I also understand why people believe it is a masterpiece. There is some pacing issues but does a lot of things very well. The combat is pretty similar to the first one but they’ve added all the things you wished you could do in the first one making Ellie much more agile than Joel - kind of like an uncharted meets TLOU 1. Overall this game is a rollercoaster of emotions that will never leave you. I recommend this game to anyone who is on the fence about it!… Expand

    If you want the story to be like the first game, than go to play the first game! If you only want a developer that goes all "fan service" than it's not the right game for you; just go play some game with a simple storyline like GoT, got it?

The story is not for the faint hearted you will be challenged but it will be worth the journey if you can make it to the end and have an open minded and reflective outlook.     I expected nothing less from Naughty Dog, premium playstation development studio. I finished TLOU1 on PS3 and then remastered version on PS4. The bar was set high. Still TLOU2 surpasses all of my expectations. And this is why.

    The Graphics & Animations - environment art is gorgeuos: vistas, lighting, dilapidated buildings and streets, rural areas, offices, water, forests and foliage, villages, interior design. Animation is simply remarkable, both for monster and human enemies.

    Area Design - it is similar to TLOU1, you are expected to go through the level once (in opposite to metroidvania) and follow the story. Once you are gone then the area is available only through extras menu. There is an intersting quirk though, which allows you to experience the same or adjacent areas with a different protagonist. Some levels are breathtaking, some are ok.

    The atmosphere - the game oozes the atmosphere until the very end. Close quarter combat with infected, seek & hide with Seraphites or WLF when overwhelmed, scary situations (vel Abby hospital level), story drama experienced through cutscenes. There is an oppressing feeling that you are wandering wasteland, once being a home to human civilization. Now taken over by nature and infected. Occasionally scattered with human settlements.

    Enemies AI - one of the best in the games I played so far. Human enemies are cooperating with each other, trying to flank and overwhelm you (esp. on higher difficulty levels), looking UNDER the objects (cars for example), using dogs to find your location. Monster enemies behave irregularly, often blindly run towards you. Close quarters combat with monster enemies pumps your adrenaline.

    The Story & Writing - the story and writing is mature and in my opinion targeted rather for adults. Not only for its gore and brutality. But mainly in order to comprehend the post apocalyptic premise and atavistic human behaviours. The story is interwoven around Ellie and Abby, two protagonists, different personalities shaped through different experiences. Yet, linked by an incident, which sparks the spiral of revenge and twists the world around them. The Player is able to see two perspectives of the events and given time make his/her own mind with respective to how the story evolves. Whether you feel uncomfortable with the situation before your eyes, you need to apply your value & morality filter. And then recognize the fact, that all the persons in the game have so much f***ed up life (vel Owen confession) that practically it is impossible to judge their behaviours and you need to follow game’s director conception.

    If I would have a chance to alter something in the gameplay I would give the Player freedom of choice. I missed that really in TLOU1 and I imagine that was a deliberate decision for TLOU2 to continue in the same manner.

    In my whole life I have never played a computer game which manages to pull off its parts in such a way that the final experience is simply extraordinary! As TLOU1 has been the game of PS3 generation, similarly TLOU2 is for PS4. Do yourself a favour - buy and play this masterpiece!    … Expand

People have said that the gameplay seems repetitive and, at times, boring because of its resemblance to the first game. You cannot change the main essence of the saga, which is the gameplay. Obviously new movement options have been added such as crawling or climbing.

    Speaking now of the graphics section, there is not much to say. It is one of the best games in terms of graphics, and yet people continue to put mediocre marks, anyway.

    Speaking of the political issue, people have strongly criticized this game for its supposed progressive political propaganda. It doesn't bother me that there are LGTBI characters, what's more, I think this needs to be normalized. What this game has wanted to show is that you can create characters with their own personality. There are people who are surprised to see that Ellie is a lesbian when she has been since the first game, and people are scared. I do not understand why.

    Speaking a bit about the story and the main plot, I think it was a great idea to have created another character (Abby), and use it to put Joel's death in perspective, and I think that is something that very few people ever understand. Abby is not a bad character, her behavior goes through something. We hate her for what she's done to Joel, but people don't remember who Joel was in the first game, he was a smuggler, a bad person. It wouldn't be fair for him to die a hero in this second game either.
    The temporal jumps are also a good idea to understand the history, instead of switching all the history between controlling Ellie and Abby, is better to play 6 hours with one a nd then play another 6 hours with the other,

    To sum up, this game does not deserve a 10, but neither is it a game of 5 or 6 as many people describe it. There is a lot of work behind this game, and for me, it has been one of the best of the generation.    … Expand

Не думаю, что стоит вообще упоминать качество исполнения арта и анимаций, потому что это просто потрясно. Весь тот максимум, который можно было выжать из текущего поколения, показан в игре. При этом правда видны ограничения по железу (одинаковые враги, схожесть анимаций и прочее), но на фоне остальной проработки они честно кажутся мелочью. Сам же игровой процесс не стал сильно глубже, он скорее "расширился" за счет более активного стиля Элли и ее умения ползать пластунски. И если это те вещи, которые волновали вас больше всего - то можете смело брать игру, потому что опыт здесь будет не хуже, чем в первой части.
    **SPOILER ALERT**
    А теперь сюжет. Это, очевидно, самая спорная часть игры по двум причинам - во-первых, само построение сценария, когда мы переживаем две параллельные сюжетные линии (протагониста и антагониста) очень нехарактерно для подобных крупных проектов. И основной проблемой здесь становится то, что мы не можем сопереживать двум персонажам сразу. Поэтому для многих вторая половина может показаться ужасно скучной, неинтересной и мерзкой в своем исполнении. Однако, подобный ход все-таки значительно углубляет историю, выводя ее на тему серой морали и невозможности деления мира на черное и белое. Вторая же причина - сама по себе история берет менее цепляющую проблему ненависти и мести (если это сравнивать с проблемой отцов и детей из первой части), а, следовательно, и сама история получается не настолько душевной. Уж если быть начистоту, то (ИМХО) сильных моментов, которые прям резали душу, было буквально два и все они были завязаны на Джоэле.
    Вместо этого же мы получаем очень натуралистическую, жестокую и иногда отталкивающую сюжетную линию, которая описывает нутро людей в постапокалипсисе и их готовность пойти на любые жертвы. И как раз подобные подходы при разработке сценария и могут оттолкнуть большую часть игроков, что вполне логично. Мне же история понравилась, хотя и показалась несколько перетянутой (особенно в части игры за Эбби, которая мне не импонировала как персонаж т.к. я привязан к Элли со времен еще первой части).
    Для тех, кому интересен вопрос ЛГБТ пропаганды - именно пропаганды я не увидел. Да есть персонажи с нетрадиционной ориентацией, да есть упоминание темы самоопределения. Но чего-то, что выбивалось бы из общего мира и создавало ощущение, что ты попал в бар "Голубая устрица", нет.
    Если уж так подытожить, то я не могу физически ставить оценку ниже, т.к. работа аниматоров, левел дизайнеров и художников здесь просто потрясающая, заслуживающая 10. Но спорность самого сценария и его затянутость все-таки говорят о том, что на идеал эта игра не тянет.    … Expand

As many others, I've unfortunately seen the leaks and I wanted to give the game a try anyway. Just to clarify, I am a huge fan of Last of Us, I'm a veteran gamer and I was overwhelmed by how much emotion I had to deal with while playing it.

    Let's start with the pros: it's truly magnificent, period. Incredible lighting, attention to details, facial expressions, weapon upgrade animations, level design, well anything Naughty Dog is famous for. The numerous accessibility features must not be overlooked: for a lot of people, this is life-changing. I also like some touching aspects, like Ellie and Dina interacting with the baby, you don't see that very often in a game and it's the positive aspect of Naughty Dog wanting to be more 'inclusive'.

    Now, the cons: everything that made Last of Us unforgettable, namely Joel-Ellie relation, character development and charisma, general pacing, the 'hope-and-beauty-vs-danger-violence' duality are completely absent. Joel's death is very poorly executed (no pun intended) and false advertising by Naughty Dog is simply unacceptable. Side characters are uninteresting, you really don't care for their demise/death, be Abby's or Ellie's side. Remember Tess who dies after 2 hours? Of course you do, it hit hard. Remember Bill? Of course, so well written. Remember Sam and Henry? Of course you do.

    Now, Abby. You simply cannot like her, despite the pathetic multiple attempts (the dog scene, fear of height, hospital flashback, etc.). She will go down in History for the worst sex scene EVER, that's a feat, I'll concede it. Lev, Yara who cares? Nobody. Manny? Shot in the head and everybody screams YEAH. The only time I felt something aching was Owen and Mel's death scene.

    Ellie...well, her rage-filled slaughter fest is un-Ellie, especially when she kills someone for nothing (Rattler). The only interesting character is Tommy, thank God.

    To wrap this review up, it seems, judging by what we know about Druckmann, that killing the father figure, straight White male was not story-driven...let's feature a very muscular woman, a trans kid AND a lesbian couple raising a child as leads instead! I've nothing against LGBT, really, but it's simply too much to be credible. Nobody asks for a macho White dude killing everyone at will. A little balance would have been a little bit more enjoyable.

    It's a huge disappointment, but the game itself is still a good game and doesn't deserve neither a 0, nor a 10.    … Expand

However, like everyone else, I am gravely disappointed with this game as a sequel of the original installment and it's almost the direct opposite of what I am expecting to get.

    …and no, it's not about artistic liberty, nor "subverting expectations," or anything about Naughty Dog making a "bold move" -- which is the biggest mistake of Neil Druckmann, the writer of this game. When creating a sequel, one must work within the constraints set forth by the previous game, and maintain continuity of the idea behind the story. The first game is all about how Joe forms a very unique bond with Ellie as they continue their journey. It's about how Joe teaches Ellie how to survive, takes her to experience the world, and how Ellie helps Joe to open up his heart and slowly regain humanity that has arguably been lost from the death of his daughter. It's about love in a brutal world, and it's hopeful, and that's why people love it. At the end, Joe was put in an impossible situation and ultimately decides to save Ellie's life at the expense of a chance in a cure. How long would Joe be able to keep the secret? How would Ellie react to the truth? How would the two regain trust of each other, and forming a bond even deeper? These are the the questions left unanswered in the first game, the questions that players expect the "direct sequel" to further explore.

    Yet, Neil Druckmann tosses away all the hopefulness and love -- the very element that made the first game so great. Instead, he decides that it's a good idea to make an overwhelmingly depressing and morbid story as a "sequel." Don't get me wrong -- I don't dislike the game because it made me sad. Rather -- to put it bluntly -- it's because of the gross disrespect and disregard to the first game and its audience, which is a totally preventable, yet huge mistake. It is no wonder many people choose to pretend that this game doesn't even exist and deem it "non-canonical." For the same reason, it receives my 1-star rating. [MAJOR SPOILERS ALERT FOR THE REST OF THIS REVIEW]

    And that is only the first issue of the story (though, the only one that many people need to skip the game). Beyond what's said above, there are a lot of other storytelling issues that weakens the experience even further. Joe is killed within the first 2 hours of gameplay and when the plot reaches its first climax where Ellie finally confronts Joe's killer, Abby, we're forced to play as Abby for almost 8 hours, which is a huge mistake is story-telling. This is only intensified by the fact that Abby's story is very fragmented without a clear, overarching goal. Granted, her combat missions are some of the highlights in the entire game, which is a shame because story-wise, it feels like a drag for most, unbearable for some. And this FRANCHISE is all about the story.

    And that's not even all the main story issues. I don't want to expand too much here because it's just a review, and for that purpose enough has been said. Bottom line is, if you like depressing, morbid stories, this game is for you. However, as a sequel of the original game, which it unarguably is marketed and expected as one, it's an enormous failure.    … Expand

    Este juego es realmente deplorable. Gráficos y mecanicas muy buenas, por momentos se torna muy aburrido. La historia es de lo peor que he visto. Una excelente saga ARRUINADA.
    No se merece ni un punto por la falsa publicidad hecha por ND en sus trailers. Una vergüenza.

    Bellissimo!!!!!!! Unica pecca è che il gameplay è troppo uguale alla prima parte.
    Storia bellissima e particolare, tratti geniale. Grafica da paura. Ottimo lavoro.

    Juego con ideas progresistas y transgenericas, buena historia aunque con un final que deja mucho que desear, tiene algunos bugs bastantes molestos y en general es un buen juego, pero no cumplio mis expectativas.

    Técnicamente es impecable, se nota todo el trabajo que pusieron en el, si bien la trama no convenció a muchos pienso que como videojuego cumple con creces en todos sus apartados jugables.

    Para mí una de las mejores historias escritas en el mundo de los videojuegos. Junto con su primera parte, no he podido disfrutarlo más. Y desde aquí agradezco el trabajo de sus creadores por elaborar una obra tan cuidada y madura. Mil gracias.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Where do I begin with this game. This has to be the most disappointing and frustrating game i've ever played. I remember watching Pewds play the 1st one because I couldn't afford a ps3 back in the day.
    I experienced the game for myself a month before last of us 2 came out and it became my third favorite game of all time. Experiencing the characters and they're development, the music, the gameplay and more for myself really got me hyped for the sequel. Then i played last of us 2, what a trainwreck. Ellie is a mindless killer who doesn't care about anyone but herself. She treats Joel like **** the whole game and Joel gets killed just for shock value. Then we have to play as her killer for half the goddamn game when I WANTED nothing more than to see her DIE. Little to no innovation in the game, A.i are retarded for the most part until they see you and your a.i companions are garbage. They're 10 times worse than in the first one. Then during the flashback when joel tells ellie what really happened he doesn't explain himself well AT ALL. They make Joel look like the bad guy through the whole game and make him and Tommy retarded, leading to Joel's death. Then the ending was the worst thing i've ever seen after all the people ellie killed, after killing joel her father figure what does she do to the one person who did 99% of the killing. SHE LETS HER GO, LIKE WHAT!?!? Ellie is left broken and she cant play guitar anymore, Tommy is crippled and divorced, and Joel is dead making Sarah's death meaningless. And the one who killed the main character of the first game gets EVERYTHING SHE WANTS revenge and a friend to continue to survive with. But revenge is bad for ellie but good for abby. what a ****ty story. Please don't waste your money on this piece of **** The graphics, the flashbacks with joel and ellie, and the music literally save this game from being a 0!!!! The worst ps exclusive of the generation and easily the most disappointing. i don't want to make this longer than it already is but these were the main points i wanted to hit.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
