Without a doubt the worst story I have ever played. It's about the equivalent of a robber taking everything I have then burning down my house. Then, when I confront him I am told everything I had was donated to charity and that I should praise him for such a noble act.

A technical marvel of a game polished to great lengths along with fluid animations which makes the gameplay engaging and an unhinged story, though not perfect, is still just as entertaining and emotional as it's predecessor.

And what if I wanted to kill Abby the developers did not think about it.Bugs in the game, scripts do not work correctly.I have to play for Abby 60% of the game that I hate.don’t understand what the developers were counting on, that I will have a sympathy for Abby playing for her.I’ll tell you no.

in my opinion this game is great but not perfect. its gameplay is just incredible, it has a lot of action or stealth if that is what you like. its graphics is something that you cannot see at all its glory in a YouTube video. the music is good but not remarkable, there are no memorable tracks but the ones they have get the job done. now the controversy the narrative, the narrative is good tending to decent. like the story may not be good for everyone but still that is not a enough reason to give this game a 0/10 or a 1/10 and this is the reason I do this review. so well the story is enjoyable like its not really bad neither really good like the last game "The Last of Us" even though I only see one major problem with the narrative, I am a person that can enjoy a lot of stuff and understand almost everybody's preferences so I get why people dont like this game but for me this is unacceptable. when you are like about 15 hours in a really tense moment the game cuts and goes to a flashback. All the tension thay managed to make got completely lost. like you can do it later but it is not going to be the same. And it would be ok if the flashback would be short but it takes like other 7-15 hours and then the scene goes back and maybe you forgot about it already. now other controversy, the ending, the ending got me like furious due to the game story and then the ending is well. how can i say it it feels empty like something is missing. like quick flashbacks ( people that played the game know what I mean ) and you maybe can understand the decision.

    Secondary stuff
the characters well they are like empty. they are not as good as the first game but get the job done.

The weapons. the weapons are good ( I am not going to mention them due to maybe someone taking it as an spoiler ) every gun is usable and fun to use and have different strong-points and its weak-points so if you want to be more efficient you may need to exchange once in a while but every weapon gets the main job done, to kill enemies.

My conclusion is that the game is worth at least giving it a shot. or even only for the gameplay. the characters are decent and get the job done, the weapons are fun to use and good in most situations.
even though the narrative is not perfect and is disorganized it is still playable

The enemies of the game just act as "bad guys" I wanted more story for them!
I wanted a full story on Seraphites, The rattlers and Isaac.
The characters of this game are unimportant and I didn't feel anything about any of them because the game didn't even try to develop them.
Shame as I really started to like Abby the story ended without anything powerful happening. I did not feel anything about the characters except the dynamic of Lev Abby . If there was more of that the game would be much better. Also a better first impression of Abby would have made the character more likeable but what can we do.

It give you the meaning of life itself, As the first game, it was a brutal journey and phenomenal story about hate, love and forgiveness, and everything that is good and bad in this broken world. For what i believe if you want to make a good story as the last of us don't give the fans something they want give theme something that will change their point of view over the story and what they really deserve. Of course Joel Miller was one of the greatest character ever made in any media, and he is my favorite character of all time but sadely he didn't make it. His death was so bad and cruel and that's what make this story so special it gives the character what they realy deserve but in the end of course it didn't succed to the same level as the first one. Although there is aWhen leaked and reviews came out I honestly ignored them until the game came out. Knowing the game will get bad reviews after a huge raid of ant-SJW YouTubers calling it a trash game due to the game having an ounce of sexual and gender ambiguous characters. I honestly didn't care because I usually focus on how well the characters are written NOT simply what they are. Although there is a massive share of reviewers who actually criticized that game and honestly respected their opinion on the game's fundamental issues both in a narrative and gameplay aspect.

Me entering the game a few months after release and not including the controversy hinder my experience. I would say this game is above average in a gameplay standard and narrative standard. This game has a better and revised combat system compared to the first, it felt like the game conveyed me to peruse a moment when I had to take out a group of enemies. I can continue going in stealthy or if I possessed an adequate number of materials I can go for a good gun fight. During my playthrough I always had the chance to go out guns and blazing, killing dogs and scouts of a place I needed to progress to. Alternatively, I chose to take the longer route because the stealth mechanics of the game were too good to pass on at a moment on fear and adrenaline due to the number of enemies.

I've said this before, in terms of the games narrative it is tolerably good, not great but it is good enough where it is above average. Playing as two leading characters is genuinely a worthy choice when it revives a game that focuses on revenge seeing both sides of the story taking place after TLOU I. Filling in on what we've lacked during these years as how our favorite father-daughter duo has been doing. However, as we go into the infamous character Abby, known for her masculine physique as well as other things I can't say because this is a non-spoiler review. However, what I can reveal about her head shaped muscles is that it really shapes her character and the theme of revenge. After a critically significant event from TLOU I, Abby sought revenge on the Joel and Ellie, joining what remains of the fireflies and constantly training and preparing until her time is to come. After Abby got revenge Ellie went on a revenge quest on her repeating the same story beats as Abby. Showing a parallel between the two and how they accept their own definition of the word "revenge". While both apparently lost during their quest for revenge we need to comprehend the difference of curving our expectations and doing good and doing it poorly. Narrowly because the story fell in somewhere you didn't expect and you didn't like is an unrelated matter compared to a lack of character and story development. Although where the game left off left me unsatisfied when it came to the result of both main characters I understood why it left off mainly because the ending definitely wants you to make you reflect on how these events occur and how the characters continue after. All analytics aside if you're not into the story the gameplay with undoubtedly carry the game for you.

I'm giving this game an 8/10

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is just amazing , just finished it now and if not the best but it’s for sure one of the best games of the decade , every aspect of this game is good , the graphics , story , gameplay , sound system , movement, just everything is awesome and immersive, before i played it i heard a lotta people giving **** about the death of joel but when i put myself in abby’s shoes i understand why she decided to kill him , yes i love joel but for good or worse this is what the director chose for tlou2’s path and I’m totally fine with it , this game gives you every feeling in this world , happiness, sadness , fear it’s like a tv series or something, the way that your enemies give callouts to each other is a great detail , opening the safes were really cool (some of them were the same but i never got to say something like damn another safe lets skip this one) the weather man the vibes that it gives you is beautiful. The graphics.. I don’t even know how the 7 year old can run this game on 30fps with no problem it’s the best graphics I’ve seen on a console , the game is polished I haven’t seen any glitches or bugs. This game just kept me to itself and i played nothing other than lou2 in the past 3 days.
the only con that i can find is the fights , most of the times the fights can be the same and it’s a little bad but if you’re creative enough you can find different ways to defeat the enemies and not just playing stealthy , so yeah I highly recommend you to play this and the last of us part 1 game

they **** ruined one of the best video game series out there. First thing that bugged me is that u didnt even play as Joel for 5 minutes, and they just kill him off the first hour of the game. and the main characters development was so ass, Ellies character was ok but Jesse, Dina, Lev etc. Ellies journey in Seattle was quite boring if u ask me. After playing 10 hours as Ellie, YOU SWITCH OVER TO ABBIE (the **** who killed Joel) and you play as her for 10 **** hours, and your forced to play as Abbie and fight Ellie. which is probably the worst fighting scene i have ever witnessed. another very big thing that bugged me is when main characters like Jesse and whatever the **** when they die they never get mentioned ever again. I cant make this up, when Jesse died his name was never mentioned ONCE and hes Dinas boyfriend and her kids father, ffs. After playing as Abbie for a painful and boring 10 hours and fighting Ellie and forcing you to beat the **** out of Ellie you finally switch over to Ellie. Ellie still wants revenge after that ****ty ass revenge plot when playing as Abbie and playing as her for 10 hours and fighting Ellie. Ellie goes to California wanting to **** Abbie up, and Ellie killed hundreds of people just to get to Abbie, and when she did they were walking together doing nothing for a few minutes until she got a flashback of Joel and now she wants to fight here,,,, i cant make this **** up such a **** ass game. when she fights Abbie, Ellie beats the **** out of Abbie which kinda got me hyped especially when Ellie was drowning Abbie, but then she got another **** flashback of Joel and she LITERALLY LETS ABBIE GO. so pretty much Ellie killed hundreds of people and lost two fingers and a few of her friends just for her to let Abbie go and basically Naughty Dog are wanting to tell us 'rEveNgE iS bAD'. i was waiting 7 years for this game and was so hyped when it they revealed the release date, it was supposed to be a good year for gaming. Also what ruined this game is how political they had to make it. 2 lesbians (Ellie and Dina) and 1 transgender (Lev), it ruined the game because they cared of LGBTQ's community's opinion more than they cared for the fans's opinion. **** NAUGHTY DOG

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Full disclaimer, I was one of those people back in Feb/March when those leaks dropped, that I vowed never to play and hate Naughty Dog, blah-blah-blah. Luckily I came to my senses very quickly and even bought a special edition from Game UK where you have a reversible sleeve for Ellie which is pretty dope.

I played The Last of Us Part II last week and did so everyday until I completed it on 01 December 2020. Yeah, Joel died but I got over it...as Jim Sterling pointed out, Joel wasn't a good human, he had a shady past. The game deal with loss and grief in the most realistic way depicted. I like Abby Anderson as a character who fights exactly like Joel which i thought was interesting. If I met Abby in a post apocalyptic world, I wouldn't care about her past; the fact she's so badass is a plus and I happen to love buff women like Gina Carano and Bridgette Goudz (sure, they are conventionally attractive but they're Amazonian!)

And let's remember, Neil Druckmann doesn't have an anti-male agenda thing going on, he still honours Joel through really emotional flashbacks and right at the end, when Ellie is about to kill Abby. There are many great surprises throughout, from Dina/Ellie in Wyoming to Santa Barbara (my favourite section).

If you're one of those idiots who loves Ryan Kinnel (that boy needs to eat) Geeks & Gamers (I could easily knockout Jeremy in the ring) , Heels vs Babyface (ironically throwing a childlike tantrum when Sony copy struck his channel) and TheQuartering (overweight turd in a basement) then you should avoid this review! They've gotten and continue to get subs with their far-right politics, not for me, thanks.

I played this game, loved it and Naughty Dog took a risk, rather than copy-and-paste. It will win Game of the Year at next week's VGAs. I cannot wait to try it on Game Plus.

This game is one big drama. Characters are to suffer in every moment of their life's. There is nothing positive about this world. The game tries to force you to share the drama, but after a moment you just stop caring. There is no contrast, almost no happy moments. Technically thr game is great. At least for the technical part, this game deserves all 10 out of 10.

Of the minuses, I would like to highlight the fact that a couple of scenes were very drawn out. And also there were some plot holes (which personally did not bother me).

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game would never live up to the first game, but damn does it come close. The hate of the story really seems to stem entirely from a few leaks without any gameplay or context. You may not agree with the characters, but that's the point. This game could've so easily been some fan service where Ellie and Joel go on adventures together and Joel faces no consequences for the ending of the first game. But no, the game doesn't hold your hand and give you what you want, it makes you think, to see the views of the characters you're playing as. The switch to Abby dragged a little in its first half, I will say that, but once you meet Lev and Yara the story picks up a lot. The anger over Joel's death is understandable... if you haven't played the game. The world of the last of us is bleak, people die and it's almost never in some heroic last stand. Think of Sam from the first game, he and Ellie have a really cute dynamic set up, but he still dies, and it has no glamor to it. Joel was a murdering smuggler who did nothing for anyone but himself and the ones he cares most about and his death as a consequence of this fits in line with both games' story. It's a bleak and horrible world and someone wanting Joel dead after killing his way through the U.S. makes so much sense, hell even think of David from the first game who attempts to kill Joel and spare Ellie. The ending of the last of us 2 makes some people extremely upset because Ellie goes on this whole adventure to find and kill Abby for what she's done, but ends up sparing her. The people who dislike this ending say that it makes the whole game pointless, but then what makes it different from the last of us' ending? Joel and Ellie fight through the U.S. in a big adventure to save the world, but in the end, the main character can't themself to finish their mission despite all they've gone through. Complaints of Part 2's ending could often be said of the first game. As for graphics, they're amazing and look like something on PS5. Beautiful environments with amazingly tiny details to make the world feel real. The gameplay is a definite improvement over the first game with a better build melee system, the removal of the shiv mechanic, better stealth sections, and extremely fun/satisfying gunplay. Even if the story was just terrible, all of the work put into it makes it very pretty and fun and I'd say would probably be at least a 5/10. Luckily the story isn't terrible. Best thing I can say is, play the game, even if you hated it from the leaks and listened to youtuers say it's bad, just play the game. Please just put aside all the opinions of the people who you've heard talk about it (good or bad) and make your own decision. I went into this game on the side that it was bad and they **** up the last of us' story, and by about 3 hours in I loved it. There's too much hate this year and we need some hope, so stop being so pessimistic and just get the game on sale and play it, worst that can happen is you have an actual argument on why it's a 0/10 game., but my bet is, even if your opinion on the story barely changes, that 0 would look a lot more like a 5. Good job to everyone who worked hard on this game, I hope you know that a lot of us still love it. Also, Neil Druckman isn't pushing an agenda lol, there were 2 gay characters in the first game too, only thing new is that a trans person exists. Expand

Let no one tell you otherwise. It is the intention of the game to make you feel deeply uncomfortable and unsettled in changing perspectives. Even it’s seemingly unending nature is by emotional design. This games dives deep and takes you on a journey that is so important in this day and age - the journey of ambiguous choices. There’s no clear good guy. No clear bad guy. Just like in real life this games acts like a mirror...and it pisses people off. But the journey, the story, the cinematic experience are the best videogames has to offer to date. If there were an Oscar for games, this one would bring home every category. It’s that good. Period.

My main complaint about this game is that the combat-mechanics had a steep learning curve compared to the first game. But by the time I mastered it, it felt smooth, so it is not that big of a deal. Also, I found that stealth was a good alternative to combat most of the time. The option to sneak through most levels without killing a single living person, is one of the things I liked most about the game. I would have loved to see a pacifist playthrough make a difference though.
I didn't love the ending, but it I disagree with people who think it is terrible.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Now let me say. This game is not for everyone. It is a grim, very much less forgiving and darker game than the first. I know many hated this game or was dissapointed but personally I must say I loved it. Was it better than the first? No I don't think so. However I loved the direction they took the story. So I want to talk about the big Contraversies surrounding the game. First of Joel's death. This was done well in my opinion. Don't get me wrong. I cried and felt angry cause I love Joel. But he is not a good man. He has done messed up things. He is a good father but not a good man he is a beloved character but doesn't mean he didn't make many mistajes. The world is cruel and he was never going to get a heroic death. He knew he was going out in a bad way. Now the entire Joel would not of trusted abby I can see where everyone is comming from 100%. However living in Jackson for 4 years would've changed that and Joel would've seen Ellie in abby. A girl the same age needing help. So yes he trusted her. But Joel knows he isn't a good man. That's why he accepted it when they got him. He didn't fight. The only regret I think he had was knowing Ellie had to watch him die. Now truth be told switching to abby I was mad. I hated playing as her at first. Not cause the gameplay but my anger for abby. However when I got near the end of abbys gameplay I realised why I'm mad at abby is the same reason she was at Joel. This is why personally the perspective cycle of violance works for me. If its not your thing and you didn't enjoy this game that's fine but I personally did. I ended up not liking abby but liking her writing and not hating her. Now the decision to not kill abby I agree with cause it would've done nothing. And that's why I love Owen as he understands it'll do nothing. Earlier in the game they even foreshadow this when talking bout the comic book with Joel. I do think abby gameplay is a little too dragged out and the game gets a little repetitive at times. The pacing is weird especially with the flashback moments which are some of the best parts but It worked for me however I know some don't like it but again it worked for me. Now I wouldn't give this a 10 since I gave the first a 10 and I do stand by that being better but I'd definitely give this game a 9.7 or 9.8. I understand some won't like it due to the very dark and consequancial story telling but I personally loved what they did. . Expand

To start off the graphics are amazing and are generally stunning. It feels like you are actually in the game and looks like Ps5 graphics before the Ps5 even came out
The soundtrack really pulls into the story hand adds a lot to the story
The story is where people generally hate the game, the beginning Joel’s death makes people feel anger and pain influencing them to hate the characters to hate them. As you play as Ellie you feel hatred for all the characters your killing. But then the story takes a turn and makes you play the villain, you then start to feel emotion towards characters you use to hate. The games makes you feel so much emotional on what to think about the characters. Many people dislike the ending because of how Ellie lets Abby live. But this ending leaves character development on Ellie, she turns into a person of hatred
and and she pushes everyone away. Honestly I can see why people dislike this game but I love it.

I would say the only thing I didn’t like so much was playing half of the game with the other protagonist, because even though it adds a lot to the story, her gameplay is not as fun as playing with Ellie. Also I felt this game was a lot more ideological based than its predecessor, which is not necessarily bad, but it is something that in my opinion doesn’t match what The Last of Us. There were a few times that I felt the game was totally focused on social criticism. I think that is cool, when done well as something in details, or something not to explicit like saying “This is a social criticism”. But it was still not so annoying to spoil the actual point of the story line. Really liked how the devs developed the relations between the characters, like Ellie and Dina for example, or Abby and the kids. One thing that I can’t say I liked but I really admire, is that Naughty Dog was really daring and had no fear of simply killing characters we liked, and this happens multiple times in the game. So much that I beat it several times, and currently still play the online Factions mode. Which is the first disappointment in this game, because it doesn’t offer an online mode. Game play is tough. You’re constantly running into enemies whether they’re human or infected and it is IMPOSSIBLE to be stealthy. Especially when it comes to humans. There’s always tons of them spread out and patrolling. It always seems like they some how gravitate towards anywhere you go, which results in you getting caught. The sway in your weapons is ridiculous, even with the upgrades. Most of the time I had to run to the next point because I kept dying and never had enough bullets. Any point you have to get past enemies is extremely tough, making the game almost unenjoyable to play. The plot of the story is dumb and there is no closure in the end, you’re left with a cliffhanger basically. Which leaves room for a third game (doubtful to happen) or DLC which hopefully will happen because I am so disappointed with the ending. What I loved about the first one is the heartfelt moments and there’s none of that in this one. It’s all about revenge.
Also, the first game was straightforward and this one is kind of all over the place. One example being it make you play some flashbacks that you really could have done without, or could have easily been a cutscene instead. It really makes me sad because I’ve been looking forward to this since the first one and I’m just disappointed. Don’t waste your money on buying it, watch someone on YouTube play it instead.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I went into this game with an open mind, but with each hour I played my review kept going down. To start with the biggest positive, the graphics were beautiful. They were probably the only thing that got me through the entire game. It's not often I stop in a game just to appreciate graphics. The lighting, the characters, the scenery, everything was great. What baffles me the most is why they chose to do this story with this game. The idea of following two protagonists who are the antagonistics to each other is a really interesting concept. It's been done before in some medias and it can be done really well. This was not the game to do that with, this really should've been its own game. We the audience already have a bond with Joel and Ellie, Abbey was a not a character we knew anything about. They don't introduce anything likable in this new character until half way into the game. It doesn't feel genuine when we start playing as her, as soon as I started playing as Abbey I knew exactly what they were doing. It's borderline emotional manipulation and it annoyed me beyond being able to like Abbey. Abbey is introduced in probably the worst way imaginable. Joel saves her life, and she still chooses to torture him. There is no initial quality about her to like. She doesn't have a moment were she feels conflicted in killing him because he saved her life but he also killed her father. She doesn't think "Maybe I'll just kill you instead of torture you since you saved me". She's introduced as a sadistic person and we don't even learn her motivation for why she's doing this until far later into the game. Her motivation should've been introduced here. She should've had a dialouge with Joel. I'm not against the fact they killed Joel, but it was painful to watch him die the way he did. No one enjoys watching their protagonist get tortured to death. There's a right way and a wrong way to kill beloved characters, and this was the wrong way. Had Abbey shot him rather then beat his brains in, I would'nt have been so depressed after that scene and I wouldn't have hated Abbey as much. I know Naughty Dog games are designed in a linear style, and I like that about them. This game felt like it should've had options though. There were so many things the characters did that annoyed me, it reached a point I felt disconnected with their decisions and kept thinking "Well I didn't do that, the game did". I don't expect perfect characters who make the decisions I would make, but these characters just weren't likable to me. Some of them were okay, but there weren't any characters I felt attached to. Last of us 2 should not have gotten a sequel. This game should've been its own game with characters we didn't have prior emotional attachment to. If Abbey and Ellies storylines flipped back and forth rather than be sectioned off in the first half and the second half I think the game would've flowed a lot better. Expand

The combat is solid and actually requires some practice. Overall very good, though I did not find any bugs in the game, the cutscenes were a whole other stort, with some weird model instability.

Now for the real problem with the game, it's story, it is indeed filled with a political agenda, I'm not just saying it, I am a bissexual man. But including a gay couple and a trans man in a world with so few characters does feel forced and takes you out of the game. That being said none of the storylines are offensive or terribly written, it's just an obvious sympathy bait and it's distracting at best.

The big death on the beggining was sad, hut it made sense so I don't get the rage some people felt towards the game for it. It made sense storywise...

People complaining about the models are just scary or dumb, because saying Ellie looked way better before is... Weird on the context that she was fourteen... And I guess people don't get the concept of aging. She looked perfectly fine to me. And saying Abby"looked like a man, ew". It's a vudeogame character on a zombie apocalypse, not a Pornhub actress. Chill. She looks credible and the game itself calls her out on being built like a tank so... I don't get the surprise.

The third act is by far the weakest, we've gotten two already established factions, did we need a third one to be around for half an hour? And did the third one have to be the most boring of them all? Overall the story feels like it drags quite a bit while the third act is just sailed through by contrast which feels weird.

Funny enough the best social interactions in the game still belong to Ellie and Joel, Dina and Ellie have their moments tho, and the WLF crew really wasn't that bad either, other than the fact that playing Abby takes like 45% of the game, which was a really hard to take change, till I actually familiarized myself with Abby I just wanted to get back to Ellie, and when through their first fight you play as Abby, I honestly just let Ellie kill her time and time again because I really did not want to take the chance of Abby killing Ellie.

Overall a very solid but weird sequel, could've played a big chunk of it without knowing it as TLoU ehich doesn't really feel like a Part II, but maybe a spin-off.

I finally played the game after some time has passed since the backlash. And I.. I just... Jesus Christ. I can't believe how good this is. This game... I've never felt so sad, so emotionally drained by a game, or almost any piece of media. I don't know what to say. Just that you should experience this in your own way. Try to stay away from any preconceptions and go through this.

It’s obvious from so many zeros that many never touched the game, as far as I’m concerned any score under an 8 to me is a troll, this game is a master class in storytelling, I’m still thinking about this game even 6 months after release, it’s a bonafide masterpiece 10/10

Just finished the game and loved it. I don’t get why it is so hated by so many people. The story was so dark and different than anything else I’ve ever seen and I am super impressed. I hope this never ends. Please make a new one - pretty please!

One of the best looking game out there. Probably will hold up for a long time. Gameplay from the original mastered and with just enough innovation to be perfect. Must play for every ps4/ps5 owner.

I wanted to like this game. I read all the negative reviews and heard all the bad PR. I stayed away for awhile until on sale. Now after playing I regret my decision to try it. This had great potential with the level of polish behind this but the story absolutely bombs it There is way too much emphasis on the romantic relationship btw ellie and her gf. Now after playing I regret my decision to try it. This had great potential with the level of polish behind this but the story absolutely bombs it There is way too much emphasis on the romantic relationship btw ellie and her gf. The way they connected Joel and Abby's story was lazy writing and too convenient. I hated playing as Abby and found it broke any connection to the other main characters. They took a story about survival and making sense of how to start again and dumbed it down to a revenge story. A lot of pieces throughout are unncessary like all the drug references, the weed lair and the unneccesary sex scene which i skipped - they were gratuitous on all the wrong things. Terribly missed opportunity. Expand

I think it's a good way in it's mechanics but for me being someone that loves the first game the part2 is more like a complete different game. I don't think the story is good and if I finish a game and don't want to play it again or don't want to keep playing it at all really says something.

The game itself is a 7/10, but I'll take it all away just because of the false advertising tricking fans into believing that Joel will have a major role in the game. And no, I'm not leaving a negative reviews just because Joel is killed. Many of us already saw it coming since pt. 1. It's the false advertising. Also, the story is meh. This games doesn't even have half the replay value as tlou1. Overall, this game is only good for a one-time playthrough. Now it's just collecting dust in my library. Expand

The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
