EA shows, once again, that their greed knows no bounds. They destroy and suck every possible cent out of every title they release, and every studio they purchase.

2017, the year of the loot box.

    Don't bother with Gamblefront II.

Lootboxes are only allowed in F2P's...you cucked it up again EA...business men are taking too much control over the devs and forcing them to implement this stupid **** and ruin the game. This goes for plenty of AAA games recently. Just **** market the game and keep track of sales and leave the devs to their **** work greedy ****

Dice made such a great game and then ea **** all over it. It is completely built around pay to wind mechanics... even character progression only happens through lootboxes and starcards. And them turning off all the micro transactions doesnt change that in the slightest. they did that for pr and day one sales

This game is an educational tool in gambling and the mentality of the passive abused persona.
EVERY parent should avoid getting this game for their kids/teenagers.
Though the game might have most of the Star Wars hard candy goodies, the game can only be as much fun as you able to stomach the gross imbalance, bugs, and the in-your-face abuse of consumers via PAY TO WIN lootcrates etc.

As an adult, you might enjoy it for a little while, as a parent you will be making a terrible mistake giving this to your kids.

Its a trash tier game from a company that builds frustration points into the game so that you will feel compelled to spend real money on it.

The single-player dialogue is cringe-worthy and predictable.

Poorly designed maps favor certain factions and classes.

Poorly designed hero balance. Wookies are OP vs. Super Battle Droids or whatever other hero you play against.

Lightsaber vs. Lightsaber combat is garbage. Whoever uses their disabling power first wins.

You will lose 1v1 battles against people with better Star Cards than you, even when you catch them at a disadvantage.

The score screen is trash tier for a AAA company. You cannot accurately assess why your team lost beyond the Kills / Assists / Score values. Ex; Did the enemy team win because they had an even balance of troops? Did we lose because our team had way too many Heavy Troopers, etc.

There is no in-game communication with players beyond 2 emote commands that have to be unlocked are are more for amusement than actual productive communication. There is no in-game voice chat. There is no in-game communication wheel.

You earn about 200 credits for a 10 - 15 minute game. Trooper Crates (which can contain duplicates) cost 4000 credits. Playing for about 2 - 2.5 hours for a CHANCE at an upgrade is dishonest and irresponsible game design.

When you get duplicates from a crate, the game gives you a paltry amount of credits (about 200). So you just played for 2 hours to get a Trooper Loot Crate. it costs 4,000, and you get 4-5 random items including Crafting Parts (about 50... which can be used to upgrade selected abilities once you reach pre-requisites).

So you can spend 4,000 credits to get back 800 credits, and some crafting parts if you already have duplicates.

Crafting Parts: Upgrades are class / character specific.

Unlock the Star Card Tier 1: 40 crafting parts

Upgrade to Tier 2: 80 Crafting parts Plus: Be Level 10 as a player and have a total of 7 tiers of Star Cards (7x Tier 1 Cards, or 3x Tier 2 cards and 1x tier 1 card, etc.).

Upgrade to Tier 3: 120 Crafting Parts plus be Player Level 15, plus have 15 tiers of Star Cards

Upgrade to Tier 4: 480 Crafting Parts plus be Player Level 20, plus have 25 tiers of Star Cards

So you can't even jump right to upgrading the Star Cards you want, assuming you have the Crafting Parts because you are limited both by character level and the necessity of unlocking other Star Cards to higher tiers.

It was so easy to get this right, Pandemic Studio's Battlefront 2 was a legendary game. All you had to do was adapt it to the current gen of gaming, but you chose to sell your souls instead. You deserve all this hate and backlash. I hope you learned your lesson EA, and I hope Disney gives the Star Wars IP to other, more competent gaming studios. You done f*ked it up, EA.

EA/Disney, don't you realise that a large percentage of the people playing this game will be children? Are you really so greedy for money that you're happy to see children gambling to progress in a game that they've already paid a premium amount for?

The good news is like the first game it looks fantastic, both visual and audio effects are spot on. Unfortunately DICE seemed to have forgotten how to make a shooting game in the meantime. Maps are very chokepointy, grenade spam is some of the worst I've seen and the progression system makes no sense at all. It's a shame because the missions look great but it feels like a return to the bad old days of BF4, starfighter and sniper camping by teams spawn points is already a problem and because the objectives are often a single spot, matches degenerate into die, run, die run unless you just fancy ignoring objectives and racking up kills which is often more fun.

Because of the way star cards work Starfighter mode is the worst of the lot and now microtransactions are turned off be prepared to be blasted by pay to win players for the 40+ hours it'll take you to upgrade your star cards to the right level. The advantages are completely broken, interceptors can have 40% more firepower than the base model for short periods and can turn faster to boot with no penalties for these benefits. i honestly wonder whether they playtested this at all, BF1 had plenty of problems as well but in fixing those DICE seems to have created a whole load of new ones.

Onto the campaign, for four/ five hours it's obviously not worth the price of the game and likewise the additional modes. In short if you buy it at the moment you'll need to do so on the basis that like BF4, DICE will start to quickly fix these problems but it's a very disappointing experience at the moment.

Addition of single player, not the best story every but it was fun.
Servers for Multiplayer seem to run smoothly.

    Cons:

Online progression is entirely restricted to loot boxes, but not only loot boxes, completely random loot boxes. Wanna unlock new weapons or upgrades.... you are left to the mercy of RNG. To top that off, the loot boxes needed to progress, you have to purchase with in-game currency that can be earned or purchased, but the rate that you earn it, leaves you feeling like the game is a constant grind, just to purchase the chance to unlock something useful, which leaves players who can't afford to shell out extra money to a huge disadvantage to those that can easily drop the extra money. Even some games mode limit how much in-game currency you can earn with a cool down of upwards to (as far as i have seen) 5 hours.

Though EA has temporarily disabled the purchase of these crates (which is more just a stall tactic, as to not hurt their holiday sales and appease shareholders) with real money, you are still stuck in an endless grind to progress. in a system that doesn't let you progress at your own play-style. Just stuck with getting whatever randomly is given.

It is a true shame. A game that should captivate the many, many loyal Star Wars fan, and online shooter enthusiasts. Instead tries to take advantage of it's audience,

    - The class system is great, there are four well thought through classes.
    - Got to mention the starfighter multiplayer, so much fun!
    - Most of the heroes feel great, and not overpowering. (Though they should be contained to their era.)
    - The in-play reward system is a lot better than Battlefront 1's. You earn points for actions and use them to spawn as tougher units and heroes.

    Cons:
    - Even though well balanced, playing as a starfighter in normal MP battles gives to many points.
    - Loot boxes are too expensive. Should be lowered to around half.
    - Should get some crafting material for matches or dailies.
    - Campaign story was boring. (It was worth playing through, it contained some good moments.)

All in all, a great game that I would recommend. All the cons can be fixed on a patch, except the campaign.
Furthermore, the game is finished. There will come dlcs with more content like every other multiplayer game. This is to give us more replayability throughout the game. It is a good way to make it interesting. I have played for 15 hours btw, and I have all the heroes I want and a lot of cards on the units I use.

You can be sniping a player from the other side of the map and they will kill you dead in 2 shots with a pistol because they have star cards for accuracy or more health...

The grind to get these cards is exhausting without buying microtransactions, i have been 6 hours today on launch online to have my ass handed to me by players with early access who have spent a fortune on loot boxes (before they were taken from the game) with stacked out purple star cards giving them a HUGE edge over you. I got killed by a grenade that landed 15 feet away from me because the guy had a purple star card giving him a massive boost to grenade power, another time i did 170 damage to one player who had a cards which boosted health, its just a ridiculous mess with such a tedious progression system. After 5 hours on call of duty ww2 (which is still bad) i had 10 times more progression than in battlefront. The sad thing is i only picked this up after cancelling my order as i read this morning the microtransactions were gone, the fact is now the game makes no sense as it was designed around the system of frustration with the grind and giving into buying these loot boxes with cards, now you cant do that its even more of a mess. This is a new low in industry practises, i thought destiny was bad but this is abhorrent.

Let's get this out of the way first, I don't care about what the prices were for the heroes, they don't make a huge impact for gameplay as a whole. The whole PR monetization business is covering up some concerning issues with the game's visual and gameplay aspects.

Overall this game feels like it lacks the epic trilogy that's portrayed in the movie and gives a short quick dirty match between players, the constant server stutters stops it from being enjoyable at times, and even when the match is finished it does not feel like it was an accomplishment as your in-game currency is not reflected by your victory/success. It doesn't capture the epic battle sense as the original series did when it came to vehicle/objective gameplay.

Most games back in those days were into couch-coop which is why most early iterations of any game series suddenly grew in popularity because it allowed friends to come over an enjoy the experience with you and if they really wanted their own copy to enjoy on their own time, they would buy it and still have the online option to play with you or others...

    (Balance/Design problems)
    -Maps are linear.
-There's no ping a latency in the scoreboard.
-Player count 24 less than what is possible with most games by EA.
-Beginner weapons for both specialist and officer is unbearably weak.
-The interact area for sabotage missions is somewhat small and misleading. (You think with an AA gun the size of 1.5m diameter you could just plant the charge anywhere BUT you have to place it in one cardinal direction.)
-Overtime doesn't acknowledge someone planting with overwhelming odds on point.
-Matches are ridiculously short due to low ticket count for certain instances on the Galactic assault.
-Vehicles feel out of place due to map design.
-Some moments which should feel epic are not played up by the music or are short-lived. (i.e. when opposing hero's clash, normal players coming into view/clash with hero or when the music picks up beat too late towards the end of a match, low ticket count or not playing at all when final objective is in reach.)
-Lack of private dedicated servers. (Unfortunately I've seen good old games with a dedicated community go dark overnight because publisher only servers, the single player itself is not good enough to stand on it's own.)
-No split-screen and no two player arcade for PC.

    (What's good about it?)
    +It's Star Wars.
+Point system allows players to play the game/objective rather than camp hero power-ups.
+Flying bodies is always fun to watch.
+More maps to fight on than previous iteration (not counting the original series).
+Everyone is capable of doing an objective (unlike the first iteration which locked what weapons you were using, so if you didn't have a essential weapon for an objective you were out-of-luck for that entire match.)
    +Streamline character classes
    +Visually pleasing

    (Bugs/Needed improvements)
-Star-fighter: dying near objects without touching them. (This is a conflict between server/client)
-Because maps are slightly too linear some fights seem stagnant when a battle happens in 1 to 2 choke-points.
-Load times are ridiculous, especially for arcade mode, chances are the player is going to want to play the same map and go up a tier so why force players to unload the map to the main menu and reload it after selecting a tier?
-Difficulty (In single player, fighting infantry feels lack luster as they make no attempt to surround or goat you out of position. During starfighter battles the AI basically turns on a dime and can not lose sight of you once they decide your their target. On escort/defend missions the AI really makes no attempt to attack the target your trying to defend and even if they did the large amount of health your VIP high is ridiculously high.)
-The most well known smuggler in the galaxy and Shriv calls him Ham.
-Certain lines of dialog need to have their phonetic spellings replace. (i.e. Artoo, I get some of voice actors don't even know what Star Wars is but a quick QA through single-player wouldn't HURT)
-Can't pair up with friends in matches.
-Some essential communication is missing from squads.
-Animals or civilians run around in T-pose if they are far enough from player.
-Cut back a little on the lens flair as some of them are way out of proportion with some of the building lights and forestry.
-Match making does a poor job as one team may have mostly 20+ leveled infantry while everyone else is below that line.
-Matches contain large gaps between two teams (i.e. 12-14 people are playing against 20).
-Double grenades (obviously a one is client and the other is server...)
-Tracer darts fire in weird directions vs their predicted trajectory. (For example directly left or right of screen rather than at the cross-hair.)

What I do not want, and I never will, is to be forced tolearn some in game economics to understand loads of different currencies. Just to get some basic stuff.

Jesus what a mess this game is. Like the third rate mobile games my kids sometimes stumbles upon on their mobiles, and I instantly stear them away from. Crystals, credits, star cards, loot boxes.
I dont want to have to understand that crap. I really dont. One currency is fine, but three? And next game its new crystals or gems or whatever just in different colors. Its childish and breaks immersion. Every single time. My god! Is it a casino or a shooter?

Keep it simple, and keep it fair. It cannot be that hard. And it isnt. This is just from greed. I honestly think greed is killing the AAA gaming industry one franchise at the time. In the long run that probably is bad for the share-holders of the companies as well. Not just gamers.

Stay away from this game people. Things need to change or we will be stuck with slot machines and cards in every single game, genre, time period and from all developers for all times to come.

    4) playing as a pilot in Galactic Assault gives you hell of a lot points and it has problems with kills counting, you'll never get so many points as a trooper, even playing objectives.
    5) lootboxes - game rewards you with special boxes for (for example) playing 150 minutes as an officer and when you open it, turns out you get some useless gray sh*t;
    6) the only mode worth playing to me is Starfighter Assault.
    7) game modes - wtf... no modes like capture the flag or objective orientated ones (i know there are objectives, but come on it's always defend or attack sth)
    8) Maps shuffling - 8/10 times I start Galactic Assault it puts I'm in beta Naboo map. For ~30 games i was on Hoth once!
    9) Arcade mode split-screen only... another huge step back. What is that? 1990?

The fact that we can play every era also adds to the game, and the gameplay overall is true to the Star Wars universe, and is a very good shooter game improving on everything SWBF1.

Now to the lootboxes. I have grinded at least 6 trooper chests on a sunday afteroon, while havin fun in the galactic assault, and did not feel Iv been outplayed only because of the ability cards. (specialist stealth card OP, you can craft for 50 or something like that, for example, comon everyone can get 50 parts from the first daily box they open up). We want buy-and-done games round 40-50 bucks. Hell we want games for free. But thats not, how the game industry works. Deal with it, have fun, and the star cards will follow soon.

This game is unbelievably pay to win. Its a downright disgrace. No gamer should support this blatent insult to gaming itself, the fact that you must "Grind" for 40 hours just to unlock a hero character that was previously playable in past games (Besides battlefront 1 for the PS2) is attrocious. Don't give into this monstrosity.

This game is a disappointment. The campaign is ultimately underwhelming. It starts off pretty good then becomes a rinse and repeat borefest. Multiplayer is a pay to win, gamble. The idea of spending hours upon hours playing this train wreck of a game, is a depressing thought. Nuff said!

Battlefront 2 is a good game ruined by bad practice on loot boxes. You simply can not make a micro transaction driven game with a full retail price tag. Thanks for ruining a star wars game don't support this crap EA must learn.

I am also concerned that with only a moderate ESRB rating, that this game is aimed at young adults and children, and is in fact coercing them into online gambling.
If this is the direction for all EA games, then I am going to pass on all their new IPs.

I felt it was written by an 8 yr old. The graphics in the campaign seemed dumbed down compared to MP. The HDR seemed turned off in the campaign in some places. Maps were way to tiny to enjoy the game at all. So linear that only small movement brought up an ‘out of bounds warning’ ruining gameplay. So with such miniature maps stealth and tactics is almost impossible.

No winter setting or Yoda in the campaign and no speeder bikes. Endor was so tiny and again that ruined the campaign for me. I felt the shooting was awkward and never felt comfortable with most guns except maybe a couple. Just way too linear and scripted for me to enjoy. No replayability at all.

Multiplayer. I paid A$99 for this game yet can’t use heroes of my choice until I unlock them? If I can I’ll try and get a refund. I don’t want to play MP with a character and weapons I don’t like and I think at least heroes should all come unlocked. Fair enough to earn abilities and weapon upgrades but characters are why we buy these games. Iconic characters like Rey and Yoda. Why do I have to play months to unlock them? Doesn’t my A$99 cover this?

Either give us what we’ve paid for or make the game freemium but what they’ve greedily done is make a full paid game with freemium in app purchases. This is nothing but CHEATING, LYING AND STEALING.

This is supposed to be a AAA title ONLY with ALL CONTENT INCLUDED but EA have created a AAA FREEMIUM game and they know it. They are pushing the boundaries to see just how far they can go.

How far the greedy gaming industry can go depends on YOU and just how much YOU stand up for your RIGHTS. For A$99 you are ENTITLED to a FULL GAME with FULL ACCESS to ALL CONTENT.

One day a group of gamers have to UNITE and file a LAW SUITE against these companies DOUBLE DIPPING to teach them all to back off and give us exactly what we pay for.

In the meantime DONT BUY any AAA tittles that charge AAA prices yet use FREEMIUM DOUBLE DIPPING MODELS TO UNLOCK CONTENT. EA laughably said they wanted us to feel pride we had earned our progress. What a lot of BULLDUST. All they want is $300, $400 from each of us for their games. Steve jobs started this IAP rubbish and I’ll never, ever forgive him. He’s ruined both the gaming and mobile gaming industry and turned it into a gambling casino.

ZERO FOR SINGLE PLAYER AND ZERO FOR MULTIPLAYER BASED ON GAMEPLAY MAINLY. way too linear, no speeder bikes. Where’s the snow? Very poor physics hardly any destruction. Can’t play as hero I like after playing A$99 is a rip off. Too many ‘out of bounds’ areas. Some maps seem to have HDR and others not. Cannot play MP as cannot play hero OF MY CHOICE after paying A$99 and I’m not going to play 40 hours to get the hero I like. I ALREADY PAID THE PRICE FOR ALL CONTENT BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT.

All EA needs to do is make leveling up easier and micro transactions mean less impact on game play... the rest are just over hyped hating... its a solid game... but if all the die hards want to stay off... sweet... there will still be millions buying this game and the hardcore gamers that care too much staying away will make it easier to play anyway (weaker player pool)

first of all i'd really like to say its so nice to finally see professional critics take the cancer that is loot boxes and microtransactions in such deep consideration when coming to a final score. it finally begins to feel like as gamers, critic or not, we are fighting the same fight. this game might well be very good at its core, but the shameless greed will not be tolerated. afirst of all i'd really like to say its so nice to finally see professional critics take the cancer that is loot boxes and microtransactions in such deep consideration when coming to a final score. it finally begins to feel like as gamers, critic or not, we are fighting the same fight. this game might well be very good at its core, but the shameless greed will not be tolerated. a progression system that is tied directly with real money is UNFORGIVABLE. this is absolutely disgusting to say the least.

we even begin to see this type of thing creep more and more into single player games. so youre paying 60 dollars for a game, but to unlock the entire content, you have to pay countless dollars more into what clearly is a gambling system. WHEN WE PAY 60 DOLLARS WE EXPECT TO GET EVERYTHING THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE GAME. STOP BEING GREEDY YOU MORONS OR YOULL KILL THE BUSINESS.

sure, paying more money towards a game after the initial purchase has been a thing for a while now, what with dlc and things like that. but dlc is SEPERATELY DEVELOPED ADDITIONAL CONTENT THAT GIVES PLAYERS MORE OF WHAT THEY ALREADY LOVE. that is the concept. you give them a great game, and then and ONLY then do you have to audacity to ask them for more of their hard earned cash.

the video game industry is currently a toilet. a big dump sits smack in the middle floating in the water, WE CAN FLUSH IT AWAY. together. but only together. weve seen the result of our work with this game, changes are being made, but we have merely won a battle. not the war. these changes dont mean total victory. not even close. we have to push until this turd goes away ENTIRELY.

great games with great potential are being bogged down by these slimy greedy money grabbing systems that, as i said before, are even finding a way into singleplayer titles. SINGLE PLAYER TITLES. this must stop now. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, DO NOT BUY SHADOW OF WAR IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE BLOODSUCKING CRETINS. DO NOT SHOW THEM THAT WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS OK.

it ends now. if it doesnt, video games will lose what they once were, what they once meant to us all. weve already seen the evolution of these loot systems and microtransactions. they started off as quiet and subtle, and slowly have crept up, turning into PAY TO F***ING WIN, ON 60 DOLLAR TITLES.

IF YOU BUY THIS YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK TO OUR CHILDRENS GENERATION. THEY WILL NOT SHARE THE FOND MEMORIES OF VIDEOGAMES THAT WE ARE ABLE TO.

EA is no amateur when it comes to fleecing the customer for all they're worth, but in this case, they have crossed the line. The game is once again multiplayer focused with a short and lackluster single player just so they can say they improved from the first game. They have "brilliantly" set up their game so that people who stick with the $60 purchase cannot possibly win against the other team due to their lack of good weapons purchased by others. They say you can earn them in game, but it's like telling someone they can eat their dinner on a plate if they work for 8 hours first. Not so bad until you realize you can only work three hours a day, and any more time spent is worthless, and with the added perk that if you do put in the work, due to the fact that items inside lootboxes are obtained by chance, you might not even get a plate and so your three days of effort was wasted. EA has implemented the worst form of gambling in their game so deeply, that their game is centered around this feature, and they are using star wars in order to attract the customer. Do not be fooled, the Star Wars brand is not worth this atrocity. Expand

With the on-going controversy about loot boxes my expectations were low and yet the game still somehow managed to not meet them. Much has been said about the microtransactions and paid advantage/pay-to-win style monetization scheme so I will not rehash that here except for a small bit about the impact of Star Cards. I WILL say, however, that I agree with ALL of the negative feedback EA is getting and I hope this marks a turning point with regards to loot crates in games - not just THIS game but ALL games.

For those unfamiliar with the previous DICE Battlefront game, a common complaint about the multiplayer was that certain modes were absolutely imbalanced for one side. Walker Assault on Endor, for example, was exceedingly difficult for the Rebels to win. Everything favored the Imperials and unless the Rebels had a couple ringers (or the Imperials were just plain out stupid), most of the time the Imperials could just cake walk their AT-AT's to victory. This imbalance still exists in Battlefront 2 only this time it's worse - it doesn't simply favor a side on select maps, it simply favors the defending team on EVERY map.

Attackers have to go through hell and back to win a map while all defenders have to do is turtle up and kill 100 attacking troops. Because defenders have an easier time getting to and defending their objectives they earn Battle Points at a faster rate making their ability to defend even more lopsided by granting access to vehicles and heroes faster than attackers can earn similar perks. IF attackers manage to get past the first objective point, they get a slight troop refresh depending on performance while defenders get unlimited respawns, slightly pushed back from the objective but rarely more than 100 meters away.

Yavin IV is a prime example of this lopsidedness in action. Assaulting Imperial Troops initially have to plant bombs on three separate turbo laser embankments. After that, they have to take two more points. After that, they have to take three data nodes. Unless the Rebel team is underpopulated or full of lone wolf idiots, it's VERY difficult to get past the first set of turbolasers. Even IF the Imperials manage to get past the first objective, their forces are usually so decimated that they start the next round with 50 or fewer kills remaining after the troop refresh.

Another example is Kamino, where the first objective is to splice the cloners' computer system. The objective is in a large, round room where the defending team has easy access to cover all four entryways. The attacking team runs into nothing but a killing field.

Now add in these ridiculous Star Cards. Throw a couple people with two to three epic Star Cards and they can swing the balance either way all by themselves. Get a couple defenders with a three stack of rare or two stack of epic cards and the defender imbalance is magnified ten-fold. Because they managed to pay (before EA's change of heart) or got EXTREMELY lucky with RNGsus, they can completely dominate an entire match. Not through skill, just through luck of the draw.

Playing as attackers in this game is like running into a futile meat grinder and it's made worse with this progression system. There's no real point caring about your KDR or even looking at your stats. You'll spawn in, you'll try to stay together as a team, you'll approach an objective, and then die to a barrage of thermal grenades and trip mines.

This is just Galactic Assault, mind, which is considered THE main multiplayer mode. I could levy many of the same criticisms towards Starfighter Assault (defenders merely have to dogfight while attackers have to go through a progressively harder list of objectives, plus, you know, Star Cards), and the smaller modes also suffer from balancing issues largely due to the randomness of the progression system.

I dispute the notion that the gameplay itself is good because the entire game is clearly designed around these loot crates and RNG based progression. Attackers continually get the short end of the stick based on map and objective design. The game rewards time and luck, not skill or teamwork. Pay-to-win issues aside, I can't see how this game will have any longevity. It's simply not fun when you know that half the time you're already at a disadvantage and that's BEFORE the Star Cards are taken into account. It's the shooter equivalent of casual mobile games that you pick up, play a few rounds, then put down again. Or to use a food analogy, it's purely empty calories - you'll consume them, get a brief feeling of energy but suddenly realize you're still hungry for something more substantial.

The online progression doesn't feel so grindy to me probably because I enjoy the gameplay so much. Maybe i should consider myself lucky not to have addictive tendencies( at least not too loot crates ;)) and that I can enjoy what the developers have created and ignore what the publisher has stained it with. This isn't a game, it's an illegal gambling system that goes through enough loopholes just to slip past regulations in the U.S. This is ridiculous, and I think that a boycott is in order, and that Congress needs to investigate this matter. Games like Battlefront are literally encouraging kids (and adults) to gamble. Stay far away.

Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
