    Отличная игра 10/10. Но, к сожалению, на данный момент доступно только 1/10. Остальные 9 находятся в лутбоксах.

    The intent is to provide the players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for successfully spending more money to buy loot boxes. EA has really done it in this one. Please spread the word of the terrible practices that they are trying to get away with.

    it is playable, that is the only positive thing i can say about this game, but the pay-to-win model make it awful to play, i would recomend the first game if you can get it for cheap with all the dlc, otherwise, don't play it

    The game would've been great, if they hadn't completely ruined the balancing/progression with micro-transactions. The visuals and game play are solid enough, but the greed is what shines through the most here. I will no longer support any EA game, as long as it has any form of micro-transactions in it.

    Even if it wasn't pay2win the gameplay is just as shallow and dull as battlefront 1.
    The campaign is a 4 hour cliche run in and clear wave after wave **** with the odd cut scene that has facial animations that are as bad as Mass Effect 4.
    1/10 because the game at least looks good.

    i felt too much disappointed with that result, the controversy about microtransaction and pay 2 win absolutely failed. it makes me angry because im already pre-order the game! thank you EA.

    To start with I'd like to say how great the gameplay, soundtrack and graphics are. They are amazing ! However the progression system in this game is AWFULL (notice capital letters) and is exactly like that of a free mobile game. Nothing (besides weapons) can be unlocked through gameplay everything else must be obtained via loot boxes (an in-game slot machine) or bought with credits (To start with I'd like to say how great the gameplay, soundtrack and graphics are. They are amazing ! However the progression system in this game is AWFULL (notice capital letters) and is exactly like that of a free mobile game. Nothing (besides weapons) can be unlocked through gameplay everything else must be obtained via loot boxes (an in-game slot machine) or bought with credits ( heroes). The loot boxes are the progression ! This makes unlocking anything both random and unrewarding. To make matters worse the price of these boxes is incredibly high 2000-4000 credits each compared to the meagre (capped) amount of credits you earned at the end of each match.

    However you'll be surprised to find out that buying loot boxes is quite easy during the first 10-20 hours of playing this game and you'll be buying 3to4 crates/hour. This is because your earning extra credits from levelling up and accomplishing various in game challenges but please rest assured that these do run out after some time and you'll find yourself opening 1 crate every 2.5 hours and this starts to make micro transactions so much more appealing. And I hear you saying:
    "But surely, if I play better I'll get more credits at the end of each match so clearly this 1crate/2.5hour doesn't apply to me !".
    Sadly no, the amount of credits you get is solely based on time you spend in game so you literally cannot go any faster. The ONLY way you can accelerate this process is by buying crates with real world money This is crazy ! This is a 60 $ game not a mobile game! This progression system is the worst I've ever seen in a AAA game, its just like a free to play game its been made deliberately unbearable to entice you to spend your money to progress faster. (When I mean unbearably slow I mean about 4500 hours to unlock everything in game at this 1crate/2.5 hours rate)

    "But surely the developers have to make money somewhere if they are to make free DLC like they promised, why should we complain it's a fair deal ?

    Yes, developing a game costs money but there is no need to implement micro transactions this aggressively there are other models that don't ruin the experience for everyone by making progression so slow in order to make you want to pay money to progress faster.

    "Pay money to progress faster ? Is this pay to win ?"

    Well now you mention it... Yes it is ! you can literally pay money to open crates which contain cards which give statistical advantages to you as a player : bigger blast radius for explosives, faster ships, faster fire rate, , slower cool downs on your abilities, longer effect for your abilities, more health, longer range for your abilities, ... etc. You can pay your way to victory. If two players of equal skill face off the one who's invested an extra 100 $ will win.

    For me this is the final blow there are other things I can do with my free time than getting frustrated over a Star wars game that has been tailored to make me fell frustrated enough in order to make me want to pay money in microtransactions AFTER I've paid the the full price tag. This has just left me with a sour taste in my mouth and no desire to actually play the game anymore.

    What a piece of utter trash. I really cant believe how hard we players are getting the shaft on this one. The mircro transactions completely ruined my gaming experience and just left me sad and frustrated. How can i beat people in this game that drops 300 dollars on it when i cant afford it?

    If you buy this garbage you're complicit in pushing the gaming industry toward a pay to win future. We didn't take a stand with DLC, we didn't take a stand when loot boxes started appearing in anything, at least take a stand against pay to win.

    Mediocre single-player campaign, decent multiplayer variety and pretty good visuals. Unfortunately it is all brought down by the randomized, greedy, P2W loot crate progression system that is more of an offender than any horrible random "freemium" cash grab mobile game you could ever find in a mobile app store. All in a full priced "AAA game". Such a shame.

    I pre ordered the deluxe edition for 99.99 and I found out that I won’t even be able to play Vader unless I make a in game purchase? Refunding now. I knew I should’ve waited to pre order it’s EA they mess everything up. I won’t stand for this, I am boycotting this game and EA until they fix this

    terrible single player campaign, no sense of history progression, I was hoping an empire side of the history but I ended with a rebel one in its place. and the multiplayer well ppl with cards are way more powerful than a normal person,so i'll just be playing Star wars empire at war that is a way superior game.

The game itself deserves way more than a 1, and that's what make this situation so insulting, EA knows we want this product so they did everything to exploit us, ruining the experience for most people.

First Dice Battlefront was missing a lot, but the core controls and blaster play felt great to me as a Battlefield Dice fan. This game is a mess. Blasters shoot too slow. ALL of the guns suck. Goldeneye N64 had better AI. There's about 5 character models for the rebels. I honestly feel remorse for shooting the same Asian female Rebel in the face around every corner. Multiplayer is also so disappointing. Seems to have lost all strategy because gunplay is so poor. I don't understand how they could have messed this game up so badly.… Expand

    Pay2win lootboxes are gambling and should be illegal in video games. Gameplay looks decent but this monetization method is disgusting. I hope when it is all said and done they lose money and other companies take note of what happens when you do this kind of thing.

    Muy mal Ea, los micropagos es lo peor, ya no sabeis como sacar dinero. Si no pagas, no ganas , ese es vuestro lema. Con esa desventaja si no vas a comprar cajitas, quien va a comprar el juego?. Yo tengo la suscripción de Ea y con las 10 horas gratis ya tengo bastante. Seguire jugando a la primera parte. Gracias Ea por ahorrarme el dinero para comprar otros juegos.

    Lets cut the crap this game is proof EA don't give a crap about us Gamers and clearly are in the for your money by using the star wars logo, these lootboxes (casinoboxes) are a shady business practice by EA and are designed to suck your wallet dry.
    DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. GAME.!!!!!! speak with your wallets, money talks, show EA enough is enough, we spend 60 USD (or 95 NZD where i live) you took our money what more do you WANT! And if this game is successful, other developers and publishers see this ""success"" they'll think "hey Battlefront 2 did a progression/customization system around Micro-transactions and Gamers brought it so why can't we do it too" and this will create a domino effect for other developers to do the same, which isn't a bright future for gaming.

    Biggest disappointment of all time.
    Except from the awful loot boxes and Pay 2 win progression system, the gameplay isn't good. Battle objectives are clumsy and fight not readable, way to much arcade, characters can't event jump over small walls or rocks...

    Gambling to get an edge in multiplayer, need to kill the snake before it becomes a dragon. gave 1 point because of pretty graphics and great sound design which I enjoyed, the old battlefield (2005) feels more relevant.

    Es un juego con una calidad visual sorprendente, sin embargo el sistema de progresión nefasto como también, no vuelvo a comprar un juego CARO! de salida y que aparte me pide mas dinero para obtenerlo completo, la verdad este tipo de juegos ya estan dejando mucho que desear y estan matando a la industria del GAming, en verdad no lo compren! hasta que las politicas de EA cambien.

    I normally don't give bad reviews. I am not the picky type of person when it comes to games, and I am usually able to look past big flaws and still find enjoyment in games. I am a big fan of the Assassin's Creed game series, and I was even a defender of the last Battlefront title.
    Gameplay-wise this game is a bit mixed honestly. The progression system is obviously abysmal, and apart from    I normally don't give bad reviews. I am a big fan of the Assassin's Creed game series, and I was even a defender of the last Battlefront title.
    Gameplay-wise this game is a bit mixed honestly. The progression system is obviously abysmal, and apart from that, the maps aren't much fun. The only maps I really had fun with was thankfully all the Clone Wars maps and the Maz' Castle map. Reseach Base 9 on Endor was a fun concept, but it's so poorly balanced that the second and third stages are rarely reached. All of the space battles are fun, and they actually did a good job (except for the one in the unknown regions, which is too open and chaotic). Blast is back, but the spawns often leave you sorrounded, and you can spawn in any cornor at any time. The grenade spam is not that big a deal, they honestly feel a bit underpowered (except for the epic star card versions which are still weaker than Battlefront 2015).
    The gunplay is sometimes good, but it is so based around the same core weapons and abilities that you know what to expect. I played the game for 20 ish hours - made 2 accounts and got EA-Access on both, as well as playing 15 ish hours on the beta. The game is fun, but I must say that Battlefront 2015 had better gunplay and abilities variety. I like the class system although I think they should have rather gone all in with the classes or not at all. This middle thing isn't working.
    And I don't have anything to say about Star Cards. In the Beta it was fine, with rares actually dropping a few times and you could get a crate every few games. Now I feel like I can only get a crate once a day (the daily crates dont count as they give 5(???!?)crafting parts and a 5 minute game's worth of credits).
    They could have chosen to do a meaningful loot system with cosmetic items, clone trooper color schemes, Stormtrooper customizable shoulder pads, Rebels/resistance forces with different faces and uniforms and so on. But they had to go this way.

    I bought almost all of their games based on DICE's Frostbite engine, but now they did too much
    Game is great, micro-transactions aren't and it makes me sad, EA made me sad :(

    At the time of writing, EA has removed all microtransactions from the game. But the temporary nature of this change does very little to repair the damage done to any feeling of fun, trust or goodwill on my part. How can a consumer possibly trust that the game will emerge in a fixed, adequate state in light of the ill intentions that we have already seen. Any amount of temporary, tepid backpedalling will not be enough to fool me twice.    … Expand

    after joining a game with friends getting owned by a vader that was unkillable we all refunded what a load of garbage, only way to have fun is to spend extra money which is really stupid has I had already paid for the game

    The gameplay is kinda sub par. graphics are amazing, but other than that this game is an unbalanced, lazily made, cash grab that is a huge insult to gamers. they said you have to level up to get higher tier power cards. I just got the game today on release date and got killed by a rey that had all epic cards equipped.

    P2W aspects might still fully be in the game after they re-enable "the ability to purchase crystals in-game at a later date". People should NOT go out and buy the game just because of this statement by EA. A wait and see approach to the statement made is the best course of action at this time.

    9 points removed because of extreme corporate greed from EA and having them think they can rip us off freely. Having to pay to unlock content after paying 60$ is just unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Having to play 40h to unlock one character (so you are forced to buy) is not acceptable after paying 60$.

    Dice made such a great game and then ea **** all over it. It is completely built around pay to wind mechanics... even character progression only happens through lootboxes and starcards. And them turning off all the micro transactions doesnt change that in the slightest. they did that for pr and day one sales

    I have to commend the work put in as the game looks good visually stunning (apart from Luke Skywalkers FACE!)

Furthermore, the game requires you to do unnecessary tasks such as grinding for 40 hours to unlock a single player character even if you have paid $60 for a deluxe copy. Overall, it gives off an unrewarding experience which is plagued by lootboxes.

    Controversy aside, the single player campaign offers a new Star Wars story; complete with its new roster of characters, weapons and locations. Missions can be visually pleasing but as you delve into the rushed 4-hour campaign, it feels predictable and falls short. There is hardly any room for character development and the placement of well-known, iconic Star Wars alumni such as Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo tends to take the shine away from the newly introduced characters.

Before reading the reviews I thought "is this the same hype that Battlefront 1 received" - which I very much enjoyed.

    Firstly the good - graphics are great, sounds are great, the characters they included    I'd like to provide a balanced review of this game, from someone who has played hundreds (if not thousands) of hours online with Battlefront 1 , and also Battlefield 1 for that matter. Before reading the reviews I thought "is this the same hype that Battlefront 1 received" - which I very much enjoyed.

    Firstly the good - graphics are great, sounds are great, the characters they included in this game are also great. Also the menu selection screens are quite beautiful. That's all that comes to mind.

    On to the bad, and I'll list these by numbers in no particular order:

    1. The game is initially very confusing, the objectives, the different types of vehicles, how the different weapons operate, how and when to use different vehicles, how to strategically approach different objectives.
    2. The skins for this game are HORRIBLE. the robot troopers (whatever they are called, the thin ones) are almost impossible to see, providing a massive advantage to the robot army. Also the Empire has an officer, female in uniform, which looks exactly like a Rebel skin. Very confusing, and frustrating.
    3. The weapons feel very under powered. Thermal detonators are useless, most of the base guns are horrible. Some of the special effects are OK. The game feels incredibly unbalanced. You might spawn as Chewbacca for example after 5 minutes of grinding in a game, and you get killed by a lowly robot trooper played by some level 20 nerd who's upgraded everything, in a few milliseconds. Obviously not all of the weapons are underpowered, but the base weapons are all very very weak. Most explosive weapons are also very weak. The game highly favours top end "unlocks"
    4. The waiting times are annoying.
    5. The "squad" feature is weak and annoying. Encourages camping. Punishes people who push ahead and try to flank. If you are an "assault flanker" type gamer, this really sucks hard. Even the inclusion of jet packs doesn't really fix the problem. Mobility feels bad
    6. Most of the map designs are pretty poor, the death star one is OK. There are unfinished edges and bits that stick out of some areas, and "stuck in the wall syndrome" is alive and well. poorly tested levels.
    7. I don't think the game was tested at all, its extremely unbalanced beyond any other game I've ever played online. I'm not a professional gamer, but I'm a very solid BF1 (battlefront and battlefield) player, and in a recent game I only managed to get 3 kills in about an hour. The game heavily favours the stacked team, and people with significantly powerful unlocks. There are also lots of cheap "tricks" that experienced players will drain for all they are worth to get quick easy kills. In this sense the game was over-designed, but in all the wrong ways.
    8. The hero's are pretty much limited to seasoned regular (full time/unemployed) gamers who manage to get the battle points high enough. AND, they are hugely overpowered compared to Battlefront 1 - where they were well balanced. AND you will encounter them pretty regularly because of this terrible game mechanic. Map based pickups were far superior in this sense.
    9. The weapon drop off damage is all messed up, shooting people up close offers little advantages, get prepared to die a lot getting shot by a full-time gamer with all the unlocks sitting behind a bush 1km away.
    10. I've yet to understand this game. This is more of a personal gripe against the game. All previous styles of strategy have so far failed to work in this game. Flanking doesnt work because of how the opposition spawns, and the underpowered weapons. Careful placement of explosives thrown or fired doesnt yield much results either. There are very few stationary weapons that do much damage. Really the game BELONGS to those with superior upgrades, and who have spent incredible amount of hours unlocking things but also finding NICHE and cheap ways to get kills.    … Expand

There is one thing I have to give props to and that DICE putting a lot of effort into making the style and graphics beautiful.

    DO NOT waste your money on this thing, what EA names "game", because they will give you a huge piece of unbalanced garbage with poor story and annoying multiplayer. I really liked STAR WARS films and games, but now I like only films.

    I have the game and I am very disappointed with the lack of a playerbase with empty servers to go in. With the microtransactions set up by EA, it caused a huge rift with the players because there are remnants who stayed in the game and purchased crystals (purchased in-game currency by real-world money) keep killing newer players and making the game more frustrating than it should.

    Uncreative, repetitive, boring. Doing the same thing over over again is not gameplay. Yes, graphics are gorgeous, but graphics not equals game.
    It is not even Star Wars, the Stormtroopers are there, Luke and Leia too, but that's it. They are there, nothing else is.
    A game made with zero passion.

Just skip EA games as much as possible until they stop doing this to their customers. Worst balancing system when it comes to abilities for certain characters. Yoda’s leap attack being able to go through blocks like what? It’s basically a guaranteed free hit when you just stand there trying to block it FORCING you to have to CONSTANTLY dodge. Which also makes for poorly made mechanics and gameplay just looks like a bugfest when the enemy is constantly dodging and being rubberbanded after you thought you had a hit. The multiplayer/arcade wasn't as fun as the 2015 game and the missions SUCK! I can't stress how boring this game is even without loot boxes.

This game keeps all the negative parts from the original bf2, and keeps none of the positive parts, while adding in a bunch of dumb bulls**t to give the illusion of content. The overall game design is just idiotic and lazy. Microtransactions or not this game still sucks balls. Even if you unlock everything this game is still trash trash f**king trash. EA should never make a license game ever again because they clearly are too incompetent to make anything halfway decent.    … Expand

If this is where a lot of gaming is headed, I will avoid it - all these lootboxes and GAAS (games as a service) are a blight on fun.     I give this game 0/10 because it's a full priced game with the mobile game price model. It should be heavily discounted (like $19.99) or free to play with the option to pay for the campaign.

    To copy EA, they can pay $9.99 to unlock additional review points.

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
