    I stuck with this game for months only because I'm a fan of star Wars and really hoped that EA/Dice would get it together. They didn't. Insulting in so many ways: terrible servers and endless wait times, glitches that make heroes and villains unplayable at times, broken elements that haven't been fixed since release, and deceptive communication practices from the company.     Worst Multiplayer experience ever. Do not not buy or you will regret it. Even with the changes the game is unacceptable for new gamers. You are mathced with maxed players and you have no choice but to grind and be slaughtered again and again angainst maxed out players. Even fremium games are mote generous with new players that this ruined greedy game.

    I got this from a shop thinking that it was a videogame. It cost money, albeit rather discounted and came on a disk like PS4 games do. It turned out to be a series of faded out menus that ask for money. That is the "game" asks for money so that you can play it after you have bought it. I was allowed to play as some dull star wars characters but the option was given to pay money to be allowed to play as popular characters from the movies. I was unwilling to pay for this feature as I had already purchased the game. I feel scammed by this misleading and greedy shell of a game. Do not buy this!… Expand

    This game is broken. Its full of glitches and characters that are so OP it makes the game unfun. Chewbacca can shoot anyone blocking with a lightsaber and the people blocking still take damage. You also have the broken team matching system which will put tryhards and pro's against people who bought the game yesterday making it unfun and unfair. Its literally just EA milking it for money.     I think that additionally donating games, even mobile ones, is a waste of money going nowhere. EA
    became completely crazy and went too far. Not only did they kill a lot of good gaming studios, they also made a bending system in the originally paid game for adding extra real money. These greedy, evil and vain monsters are ruining the games. I hope, they will be closed soon as Telltale.

    Exactly a year after release this game has come a long way. The Progression System, Squad System, Customisation System and Lightsaber Combat have all been completely reworked. However, the "live service" that was promised by EA and DICE has been nothing more than a joke... We have had nothing but small updates throughout the year with no heroes or large scale maps at all.     Well we all know or have heard of the good old saying “With great power, comes great responsibility”. Well apparently EA hasn’t. Star Wars Battlefront 2 was released about a year ago, which’s predecessor had already disappointed its fan base due to it being lackluster. Numerous people believed EA would get it right and do a fan service for its supportive community, but it didn’t. Two weeks in after the release, and EA already faced major backlashes from its community.

    Like in the first game the EA developers did a phenomenal job on the visual effects and the score of the game. Battlefront 2 faithfully captures the feel and looks of the Star Wars universe with its detailed map design and interactables across its universe. Every blaster and droid sounds like they are straight from the movies. As the game tries to make its fan base feel at home in the Star Wars universe, it fails to use the right impersonators for its heroes in the game. Luke sounds nothing like the Luke Skywalker of “Return of the Jedi” and Darth Vader is way too talkative.

    The game features various game modes for its fans to play, such as an campaign mode, to dive into the Star Wars lore and a multiplayer mode for its competitive players. The campaign mode itself is a story with an unresolved plot, which leaves its players with an empty feeling. Besides the campaign, the multiplayer gameplay is a good solid shooter game, but the campaign is where EA lost their touch.

    The progress system for its multiplayer mode is an unpleasant feeling for the fan base. Working with a random loot crate system isn’t a bad idea and does seem to give an exciting feeling, but it’s with the progress system EA gets it wrong. Next to the standard levelling up, players have the option to get new gear online through microtransaction. The problem is that EA forces people to buy gear that gives people an early advantage in the game. The players went online to sign a petition “Pay to win” to banish the microtransaction in the game. Although EA heard their fans, it didn’t get rid of the microtransactions, but just added some slight adjustments to the microtransactions. Players weren’t happy with EA’s choice and started refunding their games and this led to significant loss in profit and credibility in EA. Now that faith is lost in EA fans have now started to boycott other EA games such as the new and upcoming Battlefield V.

    Although Star Wars Battlefront 2 has a solid gameplay, it leaves its fanbase with a gutted feeling. With its unresolved campaign storyline and a multiplayer that is based on microtransactions, the franchise must now look ahead to find a way to redeem itself once more.    … Expand

    The grapic is good but that can't be the standard of ea. It's a shame and very disappointing that the predecessor from 2005 is way better in the terms of fun and addiction. I can't even give the a game one point for the graphic because battlefront isn't about graphics, it's about so much more.

    A much improved game from what it was in 2017, lootboxes and micro-transactions have been entirely removed, and you can get a great offer on it now, I have hundreds of hours logged. My only complaint is that it is missing certain heroes such as Padme, Jango Fett, Asajj Ventress and Asokha Tano.

    I try to play 1 match.. 1 & it takes 10 minutes to find & fill a lobby. I try to get used to the feel of the game, but within 2 minutes I'm already being destroyed repeatedly by a level 500+ player whose already gotten a hero. Literally the worst game that I've ever played in my entire life. This makes Plants vs. Zombies garden warfare look like the best 3rd person shooter ever made in comparison

    Ripetitiva ed a certi tratti insensata, con una durata di massimo 4 or, ripeto 4 ore, cioè la campagna di un cod dura di più ed è sempre meglio di sta immondizia ed a differenza di battlefront cod esce ogni anno.
    il multiplayer è semplicemente una cosa indescrivibile, chi si ritiene soddisfatto del lavoro di dice (come Giorgio e Mattia) in questo ambito è una persona che si metta a novanta pagando pure per farselo buttare nel culo. il multiplayer è sbilanciato, armi op, spawn fatti alla cazzo,ed eroi op come la merda. inoltre fa schifo anche il sistema a punti, perchè non da la possibilità a tutti di provare gli eroi.
    in sintesi il multiplayer è una merda.
    ah,quasi dimenticavo,all'inizio era pure pay to win. facile correre ai ripari dopo la figura di merda fatta vero dice?
    vabè,c'è anche la modalità eroi vs malvagi che è un tripudio di ganking, quindi lasciamo perder
    l'unica cosa buona di questo battlefront è la grafica ed il sistema di guida dei velivoli.

    игра полное говно STAR WARS Battlefront II теперь понятно почему не кому не нравиться в это говно играть и за того что донат влеяет на игру очень сильно и игроков задротов у которых нет личной жизни и задротят только в эту помойку

    This game had an incredibly rocky launch, but was starting to get really good. Then right when the game was finally getting the content it needed and things were looking up, they pulled the plug. It's like the game wasn't finished and you finally got the game into a playable State. Why on earth would you cancel it right at it's peak you clowns? It's a dead game now. Don't bother.     Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
