    Pissing in a puddle is more fun than playing this game. EA should fire whoever was in charge of this gambling machine they developed. I actually don't wish anyone to lose their job over this...but take a good look at what you've done. This is not gaming. This is not "fun". Time for EA to press the reset button...they've gone way too far and hopefully they'll pay for it.

This is the worst thing happened to gaming i know making Star Wars Battlefront 2 costs a lot of money but this is not the way you punished players. I prefer they put a complete game but offline and online and sell the game more than 59.99 dollars instead of putting Loot Crates Microtransactions that you can spend more than 300 dollars to get everything. This is insane. Please dont buy this game this is the type of things that are killing videogames in general. Vote with your wallet and dont buy this game. Gamers have the power to change the video game industry. Video Games should not transform into a service. Its entertainment. Gamers want to buy the whole game and play it whatever they want.     A free to play game that's being sold at a full price. The publisher is being disingenuous trying to justify the insane microtransactions and lootboxes.     Game mechanics broken by progression being gated behind long grinds or paying for fake currency. Multiplayer imbalanced by pay to win loot crates. If you want all your future games to include a Gambling for Kids feature then go ahead an buy it. Not me. Most disappointing implementation of a star wars IP ever including anything featuring Jar Jar Binks.

    To say this game is pretentious would be an understatement. EA has armed themselves well with smoke and mirrors to misdirect people's attention from the game's glaring issues. The multiplayer may very well be the greatest failure I have ever seen in a video game. Decades of pride and honor that Lucas Film and Disney have spent building and shaping a universe for us to get lost in and what happens when we finally get to have an interactive experience that we can share with our friends in Battlefront II? Nothing. Nothing happens.

    The game does not allow you to play your favourite heroes classes like you would be expect. For a game you've already paid money for, EA expect you to pay more. They take advantage of people's love for a series by slapping everything they want behind a paywall. The entire progression system is based around randomized loot boxes that can be bought with real money or earned in-game through HOURS of gameplay just for one. Almost everything you love about Star Wars is in these loot boxes and can't be played with when you first launch the game. The hero classes, which include series icons such as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Chewbacca all require nearly 40 hours of play time for a single one.

    EA likes to defend loot boxes by saying you always get something so its not gambling, but if everyone is honest its really no different, imagine a slot machine that had a minimum payout per spin of 1 cent, it costs 5 cents per spin, so you always get something..... but most of the time what you get is not worth what you put in, hence gambling.

    So yes i gave this game a zero because as far as i can tell its just a pretty slot machine that i have to pay to own and pay again to play.    … Expand

    Gameplay can be fun, but the progression system doesn't exist. Loot crates are the only progression system available. Instead of grinding to unlock a specific gun at level x, you grind to maybe open a gun you want in loot crates... Miss the old BF2

    Disappointed with the lack of content in the game, me and my brother beat everything in the game in one day. Literally one day, we played for like 4-5 hours and beat the campaign and every mission in single player and co-op. Also I was let down by the fact that there was more maps because most of the maps are tiny and restricted. Not only single player but also in multiplayer the maps are small.

These massive companies **** us for every nickle and dime we have. We need to stop supporting this type of payment model from piece of **** companies like EA.

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
