    Still has less content than the original battlefront 2 that came out in 2005. Campaign is short. Pay to win baby. They said that they wanted to make unlocking a hero an achievement but what they did was make it a grind. World of Warcraft killed Everquest because they took away grinding. Couldn't play heroes vs villains because all of my unlocked heroes were taken.....

    Random items in loot boxes/crates should not dictate the progress I make in a game. My performance is what should dictate the progress I make in the game. What incentives are there to get better? Anyone can just grind for credits....

    While the game plays like a charm, I can not longer endorse this game, or even others, that prioritize gambling mechanics and/or putting up big barriers to unlocking content that should be made available when paying full retail price for a AAA game. It's not acceptable and the industry needs to change. It's too bad SWBII had to the be the game that broke everyone, but something had to.     Please don't buy this game! We need to stop paying $60 for free to play games. Devs are taking content out of the core game and selling the rest of the game to you chunks. As a member of the gaming community we need to boycott all games like this.

    It's sad to see EA stoop this low over a star wars game. They reduced the amount of credits you earn per campaign mission, to negate them reducing the price of the heroes. This is sick... EA does not deserve an ounce of money from anybody. Their business is anti consumer and maximum profit. I say screw them. They dug the hole and now they can bury themselves.     Awfull p2w system. Annoying progress methods. Thanks God free DLCs, but I shure theu are already finished & just waiting for usefull moment to being released. Evena good gamedesign & bearable gameplay wont save the publishers souls. Change ue mind EA. Before its too late.

Sure you don´t need all cards just best versions and all emotes and other visual stuff but still, we are talking about hundreds of hours or dollars and that is the point...     Just a clarification too, the game itself is **** incredible. Genuinely near on par with the 2005 Battlefront 2. If( and a big IF) the game's progression system is moved away from a system based entirely on gambling (and essentially legal hacking), then I'd absolutely rate this a perfect 10/10.     I can’t recommend this game to anyone in the current state. To feel constrained by a freemium progression system in a full retail game is ridiculous. If the campaign was a thorough and meaningful experience maybe some of the online elements could be slightly forgiven, but this is not the case.

    This game has a basic campaign, a pay to win multiplayer, a crappy and greedy company behind, and so many whales wanting to try this glorified casino. Value productions are sky high just like similar games you can play on those proprietary Konami pachinko. 10/10, kids love gambling.

If CD Projekt Red can create arguably one of the greatest games of all time (Witcher 3) with 1/4 of the assets that EA has, there is no excuse for this crap attempt at a sub-par game to try and weasel as much money as you can from your consumers. I hope now EA is realizing we aren't a bunch of lemmings.

    This is how I'd some up how the ground assault in multiplayer works, if your defending your most likely going to win, if your assaulting your most likely going to lose. I could go on and on about the other problems in this game but I only have 5000 characters to type. it astonishes me how highly this game is being rated by critics.

    No, just no. Glorious graphics and SW universe is not "all what we need from MP-orient game". That is still important things but not the main. Balance and playability - the foundation was destroyed.

    Is it too much to ask for a good game from EA these days? EA is attempting to mine every last morsel at the cost of customer loyalty. It's a real shame because at one point in time EA came out with some of the greatest games of all time...& now we get this garbage. Hey EA...take a look outside your little bubble, this formula isn't working for you & it doesn't work for us. Thumbs way down.

    Unfortunately, as amazing and authentic as the graphics are, the game has been rendered unplayable due to the lootboxes, allowing players to pay for significant gameplay advantage - the normal skill required being disregarded in favour of how much a player is willing to pay. What could have been an amazing game is now forever tarnished by obnoxious business practices. How disappointing.

The whole eco-system of in game currency, even though majorly reduced after the reddit fiasco, is still totally unnecessary considering this is a AAA title with a full £60 price tag.     Начнём пожалуй с того, что я сильно ждал BF2 и очень сильно надеялся, что они исправят проблемы первой части(с чем они справились, но очень странно).

    Сюжетная кампания не представляет из себя вообще ничего хорошего. Мультиплеерные карты против тупых болванчиков - ботов с посредственным сюжетом, который слили ещё за 6 месяцев до выхода игры.

    Самый сок начинается с мультиплеерной составляющей, вот знаете, вроде бы и весело играть, стрелять по дурачкам без мозгов тоже весело, но есть одно "но". До момента, пока вы не встречаете донатера, тут и начинается веселье. Срач на Реддите тоже подлил масла в огонь, на что EA уволили одного из своих менеджеров и сделали цену на героев в 4 раза меньше, вот только один вопрос:
    "А зачем оно всё мне такое нужно?" - правильно. Незачем. Более никогда в жизни не поверю в трейлеры EA и их обещания так жe, как когда-то перестал верить в сказки от Юбисофт, спасибо за то, что хотя бы вернули средства за этот отстой, хотя и тут без подводных камней не обошлось, ибо пока игроки не обратили на это внимание, возврат средств был запрещён, круто, да?

    This game supposed to become the title of the year as mimimum... Awful Pay2Win system breaks any view on a good PC game. EA killed many universes, so Star Wars will be next. I bought this game on PC and PS4 and will return in Origin. Biggest shame for AAA-project

    The pay-to-win progression model is a shame and has no place in a 60$ "full" game. With these shenanigans, EA is without doubt one of the worst company in America and in the world. Loot boxes should be legally forbidden. If this kind of eco system continues to exist, companies like EA won't stop to treat gamers as fools.

Then they will say again they "heard" what we were asking for. **** Listen now and give us a modernized version of the 2005 game. Not a pay to win game for over 60€ with MACROtransactions that go to 100€ for RNG boxes. Lootboxes should never have gameplay things but like overwatch, only visuals and customization.
    I'm too angry and losing myself here. Just summarize with EA being a company that just wants your money and hides their hand grabbing your wallet with those good graphics and huge advertisement campaigns to attract all those less informed or more innocent. Stop this EA. Hope this game fails. Doing the same with FIFA. Every year the same game just changing the players from teams. What you could do with a simple update. The gameplay changes, also with a simple update or 20€ DLC.

    I'm a huge Star Wars fan since I was 4, I was planning to buy this game ASAP I could afford it, but that progression system based on how big your wallet is instead of your skills is simply a game destroyer, I would understand it (well, almost) if it was a f2p game, but no, its a damn 60$ game :/

    P.S: I'm also a developer and this can't be tolerated

    This is getting out of hand. Unlockables should be available based on the gameplay, not on the amount money investment. This is only extended hand of mobile ( ehm cancer) gaming.
    After one positive exception (Titanfall 2), EA is on downwards spiral and they deserve nothing more than being boycotted. Shame on you EA. Maybe we need another crash of industry.

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
