    The game looks great and plays great....
    The graphics are phenomenal and it has a somewhat okay campaign
    The Atmosphere is true to the star wars universe as will as the music and sound
    but with all the lootboxes and what the game is doing to the industry as a whole, i simply can't sit and not give the game A 0/10.
    A game that is ruining games for all of us

    The original Battlefront II was a fun and chaotic title when I played it all those years ago on the Xbox; I didn't play that much of it, but what I did play was good stuff. This new one just isn't as fun, and a big part of that is all the hidden costs, if you know what I mean.     You're paying a full price of 60$ to basically play a free to play mobile game with loot box system. Multiplayer is basically pay to win and this is not acceptable in a triple a game. Not to mentioned that they lock out star wars iconic characters such as Vader in a 40 hours progression system.     I give this game a 0 because it's absolute garbage. The single player is a measly 6 hours at most. The advertising for an interesting campaign with a female inferno squad trooper is boarder-line false advertising as you spend most of the campaign not playing as her at all.

    In regards to multiplayer, unless you are prepared to spend 40 - 60 hours grinding to unlock each and every    I give this game a 0 because it's absolute garbage.     In regards to multiplayer, unless you are prepared to spend 40 - 60 hours grinding to unlock each and every character, you can say goodbye to playing as every hero in the game. It's obvious that the progression system is completely built around Microtransactions, and even though they have removed this, it's important that the removal is only temporary. EA fully intends to reintroduce Microtransactions at a later date, presumably after many people have already bought the game. The thing is that these microtransactions made the game PTW. Someone could literally drop a few hundred dollars and upgrade their character to top tier OP status in minutes. Again, as of now, this feature is removed, but is scheduled to be reintroduced at a later date.

    All that aside, the game just sucks. The multiplayer has horrible maps except for maybe two. Everything is easy, and the whole game is just a pew pew fest in Star Wars looking characters. Hero characters are ridiculously OP such that standard classes can't compete. But what's worse is that there is no direction to this game, you just run around shooting people via ambush, because the maps have no logical progression to set up face to face gunfights. The whole game, from single to multiplayer is just a steaming pile of trash. I strongly advise you all to avoid this game at all costs. It's not worth $60 in any way shape or form.    … Expand

    2. Сюжет. Многим не нравилось отсутствие сюжета в прошлом Star Wars Battlefront, и боже мой, как они ошибались. Лучше отсутствие сюжета, чем это клишированное нечто. Злая империя злая, ГГ познает истину демократии и прочие розовые сопли недосценаристов Диснея.
    3. Карты хорошие. Ничего не могу сказать.

    Just like the last few DICE games published by EA, money rules everything. This game disadvantages and discourages newcomers and casual gamers by rewarding those who purchase loot boxes and grind the multiplayer. Awful game hidden under a pretty skin.

    This game is a copy paste of the last, except much more convoluted and with pay-to-win microtransactions on top of it. It would take 4528 hours or $2100 to unlock everything in this game. I'm ok with cosmetic only microtransactions in games like Dota or Overwatch as they are completely optional.     Beyond the greed system, the game is full of bugs that seem like easy fixes. I only got it cause i like flying spaceships, but even that isn't worth anything when one is glitch killed constantly. This game is not only ridiculously greedy, but so incredibly half-ass compared to the previous DICE project. It's sad that someone out there is proud of this game

    Garbage Pay 2 win system that is more focused on a cash grab, and how much money it can milk from players than anything. This is essentially a virtual gambling simulator. Imagine if you went to a Casino and before you sat down at any slot machine, you had to pay someone to let you sit down to play, before you put money into the machine. That is essentially this game.

    I had this game preordered, upgraded to the Deluxe Edition - and refunded it three days later. The entire game is designed around loot boxes being the only progression system. Even worse, you can't upgrade your gear with the currency you earn by playing unless you've opened enough boxes - so the paywall is there either way.

    Boxes aside, the game just isn't fun. Every map is the same,    I had this game preordered, upgraded to the Deluxe Edition - and refunded it three days later. The entire game is designed around loot boxes being the only progression system. Even worse, you can't upgrade your gear with the currency you earn by playing unless you've opened enough boxes - so the paywall is there either way.

    Boxes aside, the game just isn't fun. Every map is the same, with 1 - 3 lanes being the only areas you can fight in. It's like the game was designed to keep you from having fun. Every time I tried to flank I went out of bounds, and every phase of the map you'll find yourself only fighting in one or two areas with no alternative routes. As someone who loves being clever and using strategy in my shooters I felt like I was handcuffed while playing it. The game is completely on rails. In DICE's first battlefront I felt like I could actually explore the maps but in Battlefront II you'll be running into walls, closed doors and going out of bounds the entire time as the game funnels your entire team into a single unavoidable choke point. It's frustrating and simply not fun, like playing a MOBA with three lanes and no jungle to go between them. The campaign was also extremely boring.

    Also, forget about playing a hero. I played this game for over 10 hours and never got the hero once. DICE succeeded in making it even more difficult than in the first Battlefront. In Battlefront II players who paid to win earn battle points faster then everyone else, unlock the heroes (who have regenerating health now) and camp with them all game.

    I started this game after the revamp only to find what I thought was going to be a fun star wars shooter turned out to be a newbie meatgrinder, I have never been so depressed with anything in star wars history and I saw the last jedi in theaters.

    Star Wars: PAYMENTFRONT II was an instant refund for me. EA's practice has been downright shocking - I will never buy another EA game, and I will not buy any game that has microtransactions in. These practices are not okay. If I spend £40 on a brand new game, I expect it to be completed, and not trying to extort more of my hard earned cash out of me.

    I'd rather pay for Winrar.

    Lets be honest, SW Battlefront II is a gorgeous game that plays decently, however it is PAY TO WIN and isn't fair in the slightest. Progression is lootboxes and all the heroes are locked behind pay walls. Not at all worth your time! A decent game completely ruined by corporate greed! Curse you EA, everything you touch turns from gold to sh8t....smh

    Do not by this game at all the story is boring and unfinished, the game is a buggy mess, and while EA has removed the loot boxes for now they plan to add them back in the game at a later date.     Here is a good rule of thumb to follow to avoid wasting your money. Check the cover of the game and see if it says EA on it. This is a good sign that you should avoid as the game contained within will be riddled with microtransactions, uninspired gameplay and general all round laziness.

    A real shame of a game. The battlegrounds are beautiful, and you can see the care that has gone into recreating the Star Wars universe. Unfortunately, the gameplay is pretty weak and this is exacerbated by massive imbalance between those with purple 'epic' cards and those just starting out. If you were hoping to run around as Vader or Yoda it is pretty unlikely you will be doing this inA real shame of a game. If you do manage to, they will still be fairly weak as you won't have the necessary star cards to power them up properly. Just don't waste your time, EA dropped the ball. Since it's such a grind fest I wouldn't even pick it up for $10 in a sale as you need to put in 30-40 hours before the game begins to be fun. Pass it over and let's hope something better comes out in early 2018.… Expand

The multiplayer may very well be the greatest failure I have ever seen in a video game. Decades of pride and honor that Lucas Film and Disney have spent building and shaping a universe for us to get lost in and what happens when we finally get to have an interactive experience that we can share with our friends in Battlefront II? Nothing. Nothing happens.

    The game does not allow you to play your favourite heroes classes like you would be expect. For a game you've already paid money for, EA expect you to pay more. They take advantage of people's love for a series by slapping everything they want behind a paywall. The entire progression system is based around randomized loot boxes that can be bought with real money or earned in-game through HOURS of gameplay just for one. Almost everything you love about Star Wars is in these loot boxes and can't be played with when you first launch the game. The hero classes, which include series icons such as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Chewbacca all require nearly 40 hours of play time for a single one.

But they have'nt capped the amount of credits you can buy whit real money, so u can unbalance the game as much as you want to spend in their trash...gambling system!

After enormous outcry from fans and critics and eventually even a call from Disney forced EA to remove the micro transactions... TEMPORARILY. I disagree. This is a full priced "AAA" title. Not some free to play crap. The original purchase plus additional DLC isn't enough for these greedy companies?

    The pay to win in this game is disgusting. We have to let them know, this is unacceptable. We let them know time and time again when these details were released and they refused to do anything about it. They are the most downvoted comment on reddit, and a joke among gamers.

    Terrible game full of microtransactions. It was supposed to be legendary. Something to remember in a positive way. Now, it will remain in infamy because of EA's stupid practices. I'm done with EA.

    I feel like we're nearing the end of video games. Microtransactions have gone far enough and I urge anyone, even if you're a true fan whose dedicated his/her life to Star Wars, to not pay a penny on this game, and not even if it is free.

    Cash grab. AAA games with microtransactions and Pay2Win are the cancer from the gaming industry.

    Don't believe the BS that this is only way developers can make this game happen. EA will still profit DOZEN OF MILLIONS with this game sales, and EVEN MORE with microtransactions.

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
