    This whole mess of a pay-to-win system implemented by EA has officially ruined what could have been a great game. The story is interesting and the gameplay is slick. This system needs to stop. And I hope this game will cause enough of a backlash for EA to take action.

    Loot boxes should never be in a $60 title, the ability to purchase loot boxes are disabled for now but will be active in the future. its unfortunate because the game is fun. but this needs to stop. 0/10 no more loot boxes.

    Игра красивая... Но транзакции убивают мультиплеер. Что могу сказать, с каждым годом игровая индустрия скатывается вниз. EA занимается дойкой игроков. Раньше люди покупали игру и были все в одинаковых условиях, а сейчас ты купил что то недоделанное, кривое, косое, на которое должно выйти кучу патчей. Кроме этого какие то криворукие, могут доплатить денег и стать царями в игре. Кто то изИгра красивая... Но транзакции убивают мультиплеер.     A good but not great game utterly destroyed by pay to win gacha lootbox nonsense. The multiplayer progression is completely tied to these lootboxes which can be purchased with real world money and have no place in a full priced AAA game.     EA всегда была корпорацией зла. Зная DICE , они не хотели вводить систему PAY TO WIN, но издатель поступил так. Так что желаю ахуительных продаж этой игре, а ЕА гореть в аду.

    To be honest I don't think this will change much, as EA stated already that they are making a lot of money on microtransactions. This means it is working for them. And, obviously, we continue to buy what they're selling. However, this seems to be the only weapon we have. Well, this and not buying their games, which I am all for.     This game costs £50 / $60. It includes FTP style micro-transactions and encourages gambling. This is not a video game worth your time, it is an addict-geared cash grab aimed at rinsing its consumer base for as much money as possible. Disney and EA are promoting gambling to children. Congratulations, you horribly greedy corporate wankers.

    gamespot spent 100 $ and didn' even get half the credit needed for vader . . . .let that sink in . let's not forget that the game is pay2win . this game is a shallow painting for 80 $ as base to get a 3h compayn without even getting the main characters of the series (vader,princess,luke . . .. .)

    this kind of game design is predatory to those with gambling problems or even indeed children and is quite frankly completely disgusting and has no place whatsoever in a full priced video game. i for one will never purchase any game again with a loot box system. cod ww2, destiny 2, shadow of war, NFS and now SWBF2 are all no goes now.

    This game has beautiful visuals, tight gameplay, and in general excellent production values. It's a shame you'll have to spend hundreds of additional dollars or thousands of hours in order to lock core features like playing as Darth Vader and developing playable classes with the terrible lootbox and trading card progression system.

    Microtransactions for a game that costs 60 dollars. Disabling the "cancel pre-order" button on their site. Limited credits in arcade mode ("more credits available in 14 hours"). WTF is this, really... BTW I love Star Wars, and everything Star Wars, but this... this pisses me off.

    McDice knew what's going to happen next, but wasn't able to close the lead in time.

    А лутбоксы и уничтоженный баланс... это боюсь они никогда не исправят...
    В bf2 идешь за тем чтобы поиграть за любимых героев, увидеть далекую далекую, а не для того чтобы фармить часами. Не этого я так долго ждал    Все уже слышали про героев за 60к кредитов...     This type of pay to win, loot box based progression system is the straw that broke the camels back. I'm OK with cosmetic loot boxes, but when you build a $90 (Full game + season pass) game with the model of a FTP game, it's unacceptable. I'm going to play the 2005 version from LucasArts in my steam library, and be glad I didn't support this garbage.

    Is it pay 2 win with 60$ price? Sure! U will need hours and hours and hours of grind to be somewhat competitive. Or donate ~150$ on top of that 60 that U' ve already paid.
    As for SP campaign, it is ~5 hours long and all plot twists are as predictable as they can be. It is also so repetitive that U can complete Luke mission using only left mouse button and dont pressing any other keys.

    Pay2Win is an absolute deal killer for me no matter how small the microtransaction. I'm disappointed because I was really looking forward to this release for awhile. Definitely will not waste my money or time encouraging this sort of gaming design. It's nauseating.

    This game is the epitome of years of corporate greed, customer exploitation and worst of all, taking advantage of people's love for things. Star Wars Battlefront II boils down to a game that looks very nice and is fun to play but overall just hurts you more than makes you happy.     This has the same structure as one of those pay to win games you kid downloads on your iphone. I hate the whole loot crate system already but it was tolerable when it was for aesthetic changes. Now if you want to play a certain class, you'd better hope you purchase enough crates to get the damage booster for that class!     Game is mediocre at best and wouldn't recommend to anyone? Grinded for that awesome star card? too bad, somebody paid for a better star card than yours. If this was F2P it would've been ok, but sadly it isn't. I had pre-ordered it, but got my refund and will use my money on something else. This game is a joke and EA is out of touch with the fans of the game.

    Seriously now when you buy a game full price, have to paid more to get items or character too...EA don t look to have enougth money yet from players with season pass i guess.

    The fact that EA removed the refund button for people who preordered this trainwreck of a game and now makes people call in and wait in order to get their money back is ridiculous.

Когда вышел первый трейлер, я был безумно рад, мол, наконец-то нам покажут историю чисто про Империю в рамках нового канона. Дисней сильно испортил когда-то обширную и продуманную вселенную. Повстанцы, Пробуждение Силы, куча мусорных романов и комиксов... все это дерьмо заставляло меня и многих других фанатов испытывать сильное воспламенение в области тазобедренного сустава. Разве что Изгой-Один вышел очень даже ничего. И вот вышла игра. Игра, на которую я надеялся. Игра, которая должна была стать чем-то свежим в новой версии лора Звездных Войн. Все бомбили из-за кейсов, на что мне было собственно насрать. Меня интересовал сингл. И сначала все очень даже хорошо. Бодрый и не утомляющий геймплей, шикарные катсцены и в принципе не деревянные и интересные персонажи. Но вот, 5 миссия: наша главная героиня благополучно предает "злую Империю", без зазрения совести расстреливая штурмовиков, с которыми буквально вчера воевала бок-о-бок. В начале еще таилась надежда, что тут будет замес по типу имперской гражданской войны из старого канона, где Айден соберет народ, который против этого е**ного "Пепла" (самая тупая вещь в новом лоре, уничтожать свои собственные планеты, п*здец просто, настоящий каноничный Палыч, а не эта диснеевская пародия на него, был бы просто в ахуе от такой инициативы), и поведет их против адмирала Версио и лояльных ему людей и офицеров, одновременно сопротивляясь Новой Республике. НО КАК НЕОЖИДАННО, этого бл*ть не произошло, она перешла к этим е*аным повстанцам, ах**ть просто, как же это бл*ть ОРИГИНАЛЬНО! ДА, чесслово вам говорю, такого еще НИКОГДА не было в Звездных Войнах! Это очень ИНТЕРЕСНЫЙ сюжетный поворот, что-то НОВЕНЬКОЕ, просто глоток свежего воздуха н**уй!

    эхх... я ждал этот высер целый год, а получил заезженный, клишированный и тупой сюжет.

    Скажу честно, после принятия гг в повстанцы, я не стал дальше играть, просто убедился, что дальше все будет также. Мой обзор ах**нно необъективный, я знаю, что судят игры не доиграв до конца только петухи, может там дальше будет какой-нибудь ах**нно интересный геймплей и прочее... но мне нахер это не нужно. Есть куча других намного более инетересных шутеров. А Звездные Войны - это прежде всего история. Но здесь она... я просто не знаю, какие слова верно охарактеризуют все это дерьмо. Мне просто хочется плакать от всего этого.

    Все тут поливают матом политику ЕА, и я полностью с вами солидарен, ибо эта новая тенденция с микротранзакциями в ААА проектах за 4к просто ни в какие ворота не лезет, и не имеет права на существование.

    I haven't been this disappointed in a game since No Man's Sky.

    My biggest negatives about this game are: 1) There is no Starfighter Assault for Arcade Mode. 2) In Arcade Mode, there is a cooldown limit to the number of credits you can earn (so screw you if you want to play offline I guess?). 3) Microtransactions for non-cosmetic items. Literally Pay to Win features. 4)    I haven't been this disappointed in a game since No Man's Sky.

    My biggest negatives about this game are:

    This is not a battlefront game like the old days. its a money grabber using micro transactions to enforce a pay to win game. I got my money back that i used to pre-ordered this game and am planning to spend on something else. This is sad that the game turned out like this with the big fan base it had behind, but i should have expected it from EA themselves.

    To earn all base content of a game that you already bought for 60$ - players have to spend eather 4528 hours or 2100$. Seriously? We have to stop that carnaval of greed now, or all other games will copy such methods.
    Never gonna buy any EA projects in future. Such greed is unforgivable.

If you have a functioning computer, you'll probably be able to play it with no issues. If not, IAbsolutely atrocious. I won't be buying another EA title ever again. I recommend others do the same. Plenty of others have already addressed the rampant issues with the game, so I'll save my breath. What I will say is this: the *real* Battlefront II is available on GOG and Steam for $9.99.     After the Mass Effect disaster, this one takes the cake. Some people don't have 40-60+ hours to unlock 1 or 2 things. This microtransactions stuff is not getting out of hand, it IS out of hand. Hopefully this game is the start of the downfall.

    I used to play most of EA's game. But damn, Battlefront II is a hell of a money grinding game made by some business men who understand nothing about video games, except "it's makes money".
    Seriously, EA should start making phone games instead of trying to create PC games. It'll never work, the community is way more smarter than a group of **** in a chair.

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
