    This review will be for a video game, rather than personal opinions on business practices, economics, "toxic lootboxes", or "F***ing EA". The game has beautiful graphics, nice controls, decently balanced team mechanics, and interesting objectives which keep me coming back. The ship portion of the game is fairly well done, as someone who sucks at dogfighting games I am still able to get some kills. The campaign is cool enough but short and definitely up to personal preference. I reccomend doing campaign before multiplayer as it gives a taste of everything Battlefront 2 has to offer. Hopefully we will receive characters such as Anakin, Dooku, Force Unleashed Apprentice (unlikely), or even the legendary Ki-Adi-Mundi. I feel a small amount of visual customization would add tons to the game, I assume it's taking a bit because the troopers change depending on the map. Sometimes the 20v20 games feel short, but it's usually a good thing when the battle is so fun you don't want it to end ;)

    Overall I think the unlocking system is fairly simple, easy, and cheap; I would ask for harder unlocks and more credit expensive (maybe vanity?) stuff but I can't tell about 6,373 people are allergic to difficulty in games. I've unlocked all the heroes I wanted in a fairly short time, don't feel the need to spend cash if that becomes an option.    … Expand

    So people hate a game for lootboxes, but not for visual, in-game experience. Atmosphere and feel?
    I don't understand peoples criteria, because from the game i played, i found myself thoroughly engaged.

    DICE hizo un juego con mecánicas y gameplay muy divertido, ademas lo de las micro-transacciones puedes dejarlas de lado y no pasa nada.

    The gameplay and mechanics of the game is awesome, beautiful graphics and animation, multiplayer is awesome and such an improvement from the first one, Free DLC and still more to come. i really like this game but the Story could have been better, too short and repetitive gameplay.

    This game is very good. sure in the beginning it was overlooked because of the lootbox controversy. But since then the developers at DICE really worked their skins off too revive the game and even if it's sad they didn't get in everything i wanted like ashoka, coruscant among others It went from a mess at launch to become one of the best shooters out there. If you have a chance go give it a try.

    Battelfront 2 has redeemed itself over the past year. They've worked hard to include so much content and variety that makes gameplay interesting and fun. Nothing quiet like this out there. Thanks Dice.....and EA.

    DICE sure has shown us how to make a great comeback with a game which was destroyed by public opinion at launch. With no loot boxes anymore and tons of content added since then (Clone Wars heroes, skins, maps, reinforcements, droidekas, DROIDEKAS), it feels another game. If you are a Star Wars fan, there's no reason why you shouldn't have it.

    I really love this game and I've gotta say please try it out and if you don't like it... fine. This game has evolved so much since launch and I don't just mean gameplay (which is incredibly immersive and smooth btw).     One of my Favorite multiplayer games of all time. It has a lot of content for a pretty cheap price. Also, it looks fantastic! Get this game, you won't regret it!

    I don't understand why people don't like this game. It has good story, multiplayer gameplay is good. Starfighter game mode gameplay kinda sucks but its fine too.

    started very weak, I hated it back then, but got an complete overhaul. one of the best star wars games I've ever played.
    Overwhelming battles and pure Star Wars feeling.

    I know this game came out nearly three years ago, but this game has been approved upon. The graphics are solid, the gameplay makes you grind yes but it's worth it. Has pretty much every Star Wars character you think of, it WAS at least on sale for only 10 dollars on PSN recently and has a decent campaign mode.

    La campaña calidad precio esta muy bien, si es por la campaña por la razón que te lo compras adelante, pero si lo único que te interesaría es el Multijugador, yo no lo recomiendo... No voy a decir mucho de la campaña porque puedo llegar a expoliear a las personas, pero es muy buena tiene unas    Muy buena historia...
    El juego tiene varios modos de juego y la campaña para mi es el mejor...

    Un punto a favor es que tiene digamos como dos modos historia porque tienes la normal y luego com otra parte mas enfocada para fans con la historia después de lo que sucedió en la campaña normal y es cortita así que muy bien la versión de fans...

    Amazing game! The devs worked incredibly hard to improve the game from its terrible start, and now it is now the most complete battlefront experience created! Lots of maps, nearly all important content available offline, lots of characters, heros, gamemodes, an ok campaign. A great game altogether. Wish the bugs were patched though.

    2.5 years later, this game makes a huge comeback in the gaming industry. It adds new interesting game modes like Extraction and Ewok Hunt, adds new character heroes, adds new trooper factions, adds weapon fixes/balancing, and it even got rid of the controversial loot box system. But the campaign is still manure, which lowers one rating from a 10.

    Я очень люблю серию игр Battlefront, и это не исключение! мне очень понравился мультиплеер в этой игре! управления,стрельба,персонажи,битвы на мечах все это в Battlefront 2 идеально!!! Не понравился только сюжет он очень скуный и однообразный,но все остальное очень интересное,могу сказать только удачи EA в создании новых игр!!!Я очень люблю серию игр Battlefront, и это не исключение! мне очень понравился мультиплеер в этой игре! управления,стрельба,персонажи,битвы на мечах все это в Battlefront 2 идеально!!!     Игра потрясающая про неё не забыли ее наполнили контентом, множество персонажей карт, очень разнообразно. Сюжет подкачал. Жаль что у игры 1.4 из-за плохого старта, но сейчас это шедевр ( в мультиплеере)

    I love this game and keep on coming back for more. I've never bought a lootbox, nor do I really care what they do. The depth of modes are amazing, i love the grunts, heroes, and space battles.

    Ignoring the old microtransation system I think this game is the ultimate Star Wars multiplayer videogame, the experience in every multiplayer battle is epic with awesome special effects and good graphipcs. Sadly the game lost popularity and is almost dead :(

    It’s completely underrated it is such a good game a little buggy but its is so much fun to play with friends. Wish it was cross platform and match making to make the game easier for new players. Good game highly recommend for star wars fans

    Das ist ein gutes Spiel. Die Lootboxen sind quasi am Launch weggefallen, es gibt viele verschiedene Modie ,eine gutinzienierte Kampangnie ( die leider sehr anspruchslochs ist ) hat gutes Singleplayer content, spassiges Gunplay und sehr Durch den Koopmodus Einsteigerfreundlich.

    Währe das Spiel so erschienen, hätte es deutlich bessere bewertungen bekommen

    Es un muy buen juego. A pesar de la mala reputación de EA en torno a las lootboxes el juego luce muy bien y las lootboxes han sido retiradas del juego. Es muy divertido y tiene una comunidad muy sana.

    The game at launch was an absolute train wreck with horrible amount of content many micro transactions and pay to win which is why I don’t give it a 10/10 but with that said today battlefront 2 has improved on everything except for sequel content which most people could care less for

    I would understand why most of the ratings would be low when the game came out, but the game has changed since then. The game is actually good now, and it’s no longer riddled with micro transactions.

    Entertaing singleplayer campaign and awesome multiplayer. They did wrong with the microtransactions but they're gone now. Hoping for BF3 but it won't happen as this game got shot down in flames at lunch.

    For a ps4 game the graphics are breathtaking. The campaign was enjoyable and the multiplayer is fun with lots of modes to choose from. My issue with multiplayer though is that matchmaking is uneven. I consistently match against players around level 400-980 even though I'm under 10 with the characters. Playing people with maxed out character abilities makes it a lot harder to win the fights.

    I started playing this game in early 2022 and i think it is great. We can all agree that the campaign is bad but the multiplayer is in my opinion very fun and entertaining. And i am glad that EA listened to the players and removed the microtransactions and pay2win mechanics so i did no.

And then no one is laughing at me in the lunch room anymore. Because if Scott and Todd want to shoot spit balls at me I will use the force to shoot them    This game is beautiful. Sure, it looks pretty, the game play is fine, and it has the "Star Wars" name, but if you buy this game, you are continuing to send a message to EA that ridiculously over-priced and predatory microtransactions are okay for a game you already paid $60 for, and therefore should have access to most (if not all) of the content within a reasonable time-frame. I don'tThe epitome of greed. Sure, it looks pretty, the game play is fine, and it has the "Star Wars" name, but if you buy this game, you are continuing to send a message to EA that ridiculously over-priced and predatory microtransactions are okay for a game you already paid $60 for, and therefore should have access to most (if not all) of the content within a reasonable time-frame. I don't care that they've already dropped the costs associated with unlocking the most expensive characters (Vader, etc), because the root of the issue is still front and center; paying anything above $60 for the baseline content of the game is unacceptable and driven by corporate greed. It's evident that EA cares nothing for their player-base, because if they did, they wouldn't be nickel-and-diming us the way they currently are in SWBF II. To keep it PG - Shame on you, EA.

    I doubt much is going to change as a result of the backlash EA is facing because the game will still sell well. Many people (parents, aunts/uncles, whatever) buying gifts for loved ones over the holidays will be ignorant to this whole ordeal and purchase this game for sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, and so on. Die-hard SW fans will make the purchase because of their love of the universe. And of course, there's always the "ride or die" EA fanboy that could care less about this controversy and would follow EA into the jaws of Hell for whatever reason. But please, as a member of the ever-increasing gaming community, I beg of you to really consider the company behind the game and the brand, because the best way to send a clear message is to refrain from opening your wallet/purse to reward such an inexcusable practice.

    Edit: I decided to purchase the game for $20 on sale after EA announced that there would be no MTX's beyond cosmetic ones and experience gained is traditional in the sense that you level up the characters you play. Overall, the game is really good! I really enjoyed the base campaign (the story, gunplay, lightsaber play, space fighting, etc). Looks great and plays great. Hoping to spend more time in MP, which is clearly where the game shines, but very happy with the fact that EA came around to what the people deserve in a AAA game. And it's important to give credit where it is due!

    - Graphics are Beautiful and Vibrant on Ps4 Pro and Frame-rate was solid for me so far.
    - Sound is "AMAZING" it brings the game together on every level.
    - Finally some Offline mode like we requested wen the first one came out. Granted Campaign is not
    the best of the best but Still a great addition and pretty cinematic at that the take from an imperial
    character over the story is interesting and even though the Sequence where we play other hero's
    pale a bit they are still fun and give a small "Training session" on how to use their powers.
    - Online is Solid and well made, being able to exchange points gained in a Match to spawn as a hero
    or a Special unit is gratifying and usually make a difference in the tide of combat which i appreciate

    Con's
    - Micro-transaction yeah they are a bit of a pain, but most the upgrade they give are incremental
    and small, except for Star-fighter those become WOW....
    - Limited Hero selection at first, since we need to unlock them I've been in a Match of Hero's vs
    Villain's where i had to quit because all my hero's were locked or already selected.

    in the end, i'm giving it a 8/10
    i'm Enjoying the Game even with the flaws, i'm happy all the DLC are going to be Free and that i'm saving the Stupid Season pass price, but the most important, i'm just plain having fun.    … Expand

    I really don't get all this hate. The game is better from all points of view compared to the game from 2015, except for the crate system. Everything is improved except for let's say customization. You can no longer select races for the Resistance or Rebels and you only have 4 weapons per class. I gave it an 8 only because of the crate system, otherwise it's a 9 or even 10. Of course, II really don't get all this hate.     Star Wars Battlefront 2 improves on its predecessor. More worlds, more weapons, more characters. More importantly however, the gameplay is more immersive. The campaign however is a huge disappointment on the most part.

    It's too bad that people aren't talking about the mechanics of the game, and just the optional in-game purchases, because the flight controls are actually really well done. It's satisfying to get kills in the vehicles, and they all take skill to operate. The third person aspect is pretty cool too, and a lot of the locations look like they were taken right from the movies.

    Don't know why people dislike this game for me it was an improvement over the last game in terms of characters added and offline content. The story for me is good enough for me but the real improvement is the multiplayer as with more characters the game is addicting and fun to enjoy. For people on the borderline of which Battlefront game to buy this is the one.

    Even though the microtransactions are hurting the gaming industry, Star Wars is an example of a game that can make changes to please the gaming community. Whatever the case, the game is truly fun, and it will get better based on Dice's past mistakes. Lets hope that EA has learned a lesson here cause this shows that the gamers can kill the industry whenever we want to. Remember 1983

The main key is playing a little of each trooper and the other game modes. Doing his I am raking in credits rapidly and have tons of crafting parts to upgrade what I want. Those are all valid complaints. But they're all fixable things. I have no doubts that EA will fix all these things and release free DLC content as they said they would. So this game does not deserve a less than 1 out of 10 rating that it currently has while I write this.

I've just beat the campaign and ok, the plot could be better and I found some lag for a few moments in the firsts missions but still, the graphics are just great, the story could be longer. But that's no reason to give a bad score to a great product. The upcoming DLC is completely free and somehow EA still tries to make money by giving an opportunity to earn heroes faster. To me, I don't really care. I won't spend money on this one and will try to earn my heroes with ingame credits. So should everyone else. The game is great, accept it.    … Expand

    Far from perfect, but a very enjoyable shooter with a great multiplayer and a perfectly okay storyline. After the loot box fiasco, EA has taken out the microtransactions and the game can only get better from here.

Also, the game was geared to be multiplayer anyway and not to take away from online but I was even more happy that the arcade mode provided a base reason for those without internet connection to still be able to play. In addition to solo, arcade mode also utilizes couch co-op/versus to allow you and your friends to gather and play as a team or free for all and in different types of battles as well. One of the biggest complaints I am seeing is about credit drops and though they don't drop that often you still get enough to buy characters and/or loot crates you just have to be smart when making decisions. If anyone is going to complain about people spending money to buy crates, credits, hero's or whatever purchasable then buy some yourself and if you dont feel like it or don't feel like putting in the work then my suggestion is dont play any online game ever because it is not just EA or BF2 that makes (mods, if you will) content available for those willing to spend money (THAT IS HOW COMPANIES MAKE ENOUGH MONEY TO MAKE MORE GAMES!). Please just play the game for what it is because graphically the game is phenomenal, the campaign was so well written it ties in answers to the films, the offline arcade mode adds to the fun of playing with friends for those who don't want to spend money and then the online multiplayer adds tons of more fun to the equation.… Expand

    The hate for this game is kind of unreal. Trust me, I understand the hate for loot boxes. They are gone now and I HIGHLY doubt they're coming back with them being classified as gambling. The game itself is everything last years plus everything that was missing from it (Space battles, story mode) The game is a great game with some hiccups here and there but definitely worth a buy

Plus SP is used to make you want to buy loot crates.. They totally missed the potential of making Star Wars cannon story! IDIOTS.     Kylo Ren has too many stun abilities, it ruins heros vs villains.
    Minor annoying parts of maps.
    Specialist class starts off pretty weak but becomes balanced later.

    Thanks DICE for their hard and cool work. Game just changed like in fairy tales! Balance, progression system, and added more content. Yeah, game still having a some problems, but comparing it to the 2017 model, one just cannot help but be amazed at so many changes. Thanks for all DICE, and EA for listening and getting a kick from Disney started work on remaking the game

The AI is great, the characters are believable and for once the game makes you truly dispise the rebellion. This is a new take on the theme of Star Wars and I thank Dice so much for giving us this breath of fresh air. I will update when I finish the game entirely when it comes out.
    -MULTIPLAYER-
    Dice have done a fantastic job in creating an authentic Star Wars battle experience, thanks to the refreshing return to class based combat. The vehicles also all handle well and the heroes are much more fleshed out, despite the heavily controversial unlocking process (they have addressed this, so stop complaining). The maps are all fantastic and I can’t wait to see the rest. I have currently played on Naboo, Takodana and Fondor and I can safely say that they are all fair and well detailed, thought out maps. The gunplay is once again fantastic and I thank dice once again for addressing previous issues with gunplay etc.
    -ARCADE-
    This for me feels like where the game is lacking. It needs to have the large scale battles of multiplayer in split screen, similar to the skirmish mode of the previous. It feels so tacked in with only battles against bots, with seemingly no objective. While it is still appreciated it DEFINITELY needs more attention.
    -VERDICT-
    Battlefront 2 is a fantastic reimagining of the battlefront series, and while the loot box system is still total aids, you cannot deny the amount of polish this game has, how well it plays, and how Dice have taken extra steps to resolve virtually any issue that comes up.

    The microtransactions are so crappy that I want to burn my copy but the solid multiplayer manages to save this game from falling into a pit off dissapiontmant and horror EA have put this game out before it was finished again and that is why this game has a crappy singleplayer microtransaction and LOOTCARTES.

За кристаллы(собственно то,что является валютой),которую ты покупаешь в игре-только для кейсов. К примеру для того, чтобы открыть героя,нужно накопить кредиты,которые нельзя купить с помощью микротранзакций,только через игру. Донат,к счастью,не работают так как все считают,к примеру:
    Тебе выпадает карта Кайло Рена,ты ее используешь,идёшь в галактическую битву,и хочешь её проверить,но для этого,нужно накопить батл поинты, которые открываются только за выполнение задач. Это и был главный посыл этого комментария,донат в батлфронт 2 - не решает! Решает скилл!
    Подведём итоги:
    Игра шикарная,но донат(хоть необязательный),поломал всю игру,но в отличии от других,я не буду ставить этой игре ноль или два,я поставлю столько,сколько она заслуживает,а именно-8.

    Despite EA's best efforts to destroy this game with microtransactions, the game play is solid, the single player campaign is fun, and the multiplayer is SO much better than the first battlefront. I have experienced a few frame rate drops on Xbox One, but nothing that caused any major issues.

    I wanted to buy this game very badly but could not pull the trigger. EA decided to pull in game purchases due to their broken pay to win loot crates tied to progression system. Now I am going to buy the game lets just hope what ever system they come up with doesn't have pay to win features.

    Loot boxes are not a huge issue for me because you earn enough in game credits to grab a couple of boxes a day at least and the currency between the worst version of a card and the best is VERY small. So ignore the corporate greed and enjoy.

    Now as for the gameplay experience itself, well, it's fantastic. Great graphics, detailed environments, atmospheric sound and adaptable classes make for intense and addictive gameplay every game.    … Expand

    And its Bs that you buy a full game and you get lootcrates rather have the season pass back and that was a **** option also. Im even more oldschool in the fact that when i buy a game i want to OWN everything in the game.     The graphics and game play is top notch, and after Dice has taken away loot boxes and made it that you can only pay for appearances has this game taken a turn to the better! Now it's good and not bad!

Guess what, you're at a major disadvantage to the people who have EA Access and have been playing for longer than a week. Oh and you're also at a disadvantage for the people who got the Deluxe edition and had a 3 day head start on you.     "EA is being predatory with their microtransactions", thats odd, because Battlefront II isn't the game where your loot box opens in front of everyone else in the social hub to invite envy. If you aren't earning at least 2 boxes a night (not including the free daily), you should probably stop playing games. I suck at the game (like killed myself 4 times during a star fighter assault game suck) and i get that many.
    All the twitch online shooter games always give the advantage to the hardcore players who have hours upon hours of the day to play. Microtransactions might help to even that out. I say "might" because its not guaranteed. Hell you have to get to level 20 I think to craft the best cards. So most who are complaining are doing so because they were told to.
    On to the game. Awesome graphics. Its a twitch shooter. Its not a military sim or flight sim. If you're complaining about simplistic control what the heck did you think you were buying? CoD doesn't have you cleaning out your gun or banking bullets off of a wall. There is nothing complex about a twitch shooter. That would be against the entire point.    … Expand

    Every thing its perfect except the progress system, looks like EA has done some changes right today and looks better, thats why I give this score 8/10.

    I dont defend this type of progress system, but its a good game, DICE has done a great job and I think that they shouldn't get so bad scores for only a bad progress system.

    I honestly, with the last changes its not so bad.

    Star Wars Battlefront 2 is actually a really fun game. I finished the campaign and look forward to the FREE DLC that will be coming out in the near future. I understand all the dislike for EA and the sketchy business schemes and practices. What makes me curious is why there are so many 0 scores for this game when people are rating the game and not EA.     Great graphics and gun play, story is surprisingly well fit into the universe, the arcade mode being only local co-op was a disappointment.
    The multiplayer is a bit unbalanced as well but i'm sure it will be adjusted.
    This game is fun, but sadly all the reviews are for the loot boxes, and not the game play.

The criticism this game is getting is literally focused entirely on the fact that there are microtransactions that make your one-shot-and-I'm-dead soldier into a two-shots-and-I'm dead soldier. Like...come on, guys. A 0 score? Dice busted their ass to make sure this game was something that you could legitimately enjoy if you like Star Wars. EA made their adjustments, and we now have a fun game that's being held back by a slightly annoying progression system. To everyone whining about being unable to play Luke or Vader, you do understand that by completing the campaign and maybe, I dunno, two or three games of galactic conquest, you're basically given enough credits to purchase one or the other? Dice and Battlefront 2 are unfortunately the targets for everyone's hate for microtransactions--but the game as it stands is a blast to play, functions perfectly, has a campaign that gives you the chance to try the heroes you can take out into multiplayer, and screw around in the Star Wars universe. Всё это в вместе , это то что мы просили после того как поиграли в первую во всех смыслах провальную часть. Создатели прислушались и дали всё что мы просили. И мы не перестанем просить. Стоило бы добавить костюмизацию солдат и костюмы для героев. Больше техники . Больше оружия классам. Что касается микро транзакций , то следовало бы тогда продавать как раз таки скины на персонажей , а не улучшение. Продовать скины нормальная практика , которой уже давно пользуются многие многопользовательские игры.
    Я считаю что игра удалась и да в ней много чего еще стоит добавить , но надеюсь создатели не будут скупы на следующие дополнения и подарят нам много нового ( то чего реально хотят игроки ) . Создателям желаю удачи и главное вам пережить этот не приятный момент который к сожалению создали вы сами. Всё таки продавать улучшения за деньги это то с чем бы не хотел столкнутся игрок в своей любимой и ожидаемой игре. Из за этого многие пользователи даже не разглядели ваших стараний. Не увидели на сколько прекрасна игра и затягивающая.
    Надеюсь Battlefront 2 реанимируется . Ждем хороших дополнений и интересных ивентов.

    Haters, haters everywhere! Here is an honest review.

    Pros: - Great gameplay, including graphics and sounds! - For the most part well balanced - The class system is great, there are four well thought through classes. - Got to mention the starfighter multiplayer, so much fun! - Most of the heroes feel great, and not overpowering. (Though they should be contained to their era.) - The    Haters, haters everywhere! Here is an honest review.

    Pros:
    - Great gameplay, including graphics and sounds!
    - For the most part well balanced
    - The class system is great, there are four well thought through classes.
    - Got to mention the starfighter multiplayer, so much fun!
    - Most of the heroes feel great, and not overpowering. (Though they should be contained to their era.)
    - The in-play reward system is a lot better than Battlefront 1's. You earn points for actions and use them to spawn as tougher units and heroes.

    Cons:
    - Even though well balanced, playing as a starfighter in normal MP battles gives to many points.
    - Loot boxes are too expensive. Should be lowered to around half.
    - Should get some crafting material for matches or dailies.
    - Campaign story was boring. (It was worth playing through, it contained some good moments.)

    All in all, a great game that I would recommend. All the cons can be fixed on a patch, except the campaign.
    Furthermore, the game is finished. There will come dlcs with more content like every other multiplayer game. This is to give us more replayability throughout the game. It is a good way to make it interesting. I have played for 15 hours btw, and I have all the heroes I want and a lot of cards on the units I use.

    Antes de entrar a valorar el juego como tal, he de decir que llevo unas 24 horas de juego, he conseguido la mayoría de los héroes (por lo menos la mayoría de los que me interesan y con los que quiero jugar, claro), y tengo las cartas y armas que más me gustan sin haber soltado un centavo de más. Tengo las mismas ventajas y debilidades que mis contrincantes en casi cada partida que juego.Antes de entrar a valorar el juego como tal, he de decir que llevo unas 24 horas de juego, he conseguido la mayoría de los héroes (por lo menos la mayoría de los que me interesan y con los que quiero jugar, claro), y tengo las cartas y armas que más me gustan sin haber soltado un centavo de más. Tengo las mismas ventajas y debilidades que mis contrincantes en casi cada partida que juego. Considero que se ha exagerado con la crítica al sistema de progresión. Es un poco injusto y extraño, con cartas que, directamente, chetan a los personajes, pero como son totalmente aleatorias y el campo de batalla es tan frenético apenas notas diferencia con los que tienen un nivel más avanzado. Y además está confirmado que van a lanzar contenidos gratuitos cada cierto tiempo y van a mantener el juego "vivo" y actualizado.

    Y ahora hablemos del juego: Si eres fan de Star Wars, de los de tener tazas para desayunar, óleos de Vader en tu cuarto, y llamas a tu moto "Mi 74-Z Speeder", es tu juego. La ambientación es sencillamente inmejorable. Inmersivo a más no poder. Tienes la opción de retirar el HUD de la pantalla para hacerlo aún más realista, y realmente parece que estés dentro de la batalla, una locura. El sonido es espectacular (recomiendo jugar con cascos con buenos graves o con unos altavoces con un subwoofer potente) y la iluminación es mejorable (de hecho creo que la de la primera entrega le supera) pero bastante realista. Juego con un i7-7440 y una GTX960 de 4 GB y 4 GB de RAM, y con todos los parámetros en alto mantengo los 60 fps constantes a 1080. A veces si hay mucho jaleo puede bajar a 50, pero en muy contadas ocasiones y en mapas y zonas muy concretas. La optimización es un 10. El sistema de naves y de batallas espaciales se queda un poco corto con respecto a su predecesor de 2005 pero la jugabilidad y el manejo es realmente satisfactorio y muy frenético. Cuesta un poco acostumbrarse, pero en cuanto te adaptas todo es coser y cantar. El modo de primera persona en las batallas de naves es abrumador y te sientes realmente un piloto imperial (o de la facción que toque). Jugablemente hay disponibles 4 clases básicas + 2 especiales + héroes. Las básicas son en ambos bandos, eras y mapas, totalmente idénticas (cambia la estética, naturalmente), y cada cual se siente diferente y con un rol bastante diferenciado en el campo de batalla. Además puedes acompañar las clases con cartas estelares para cambiar las habilidades principales (ponerte una granada de iones en vez de una explosiva, o un escudo deflector en lugar de un sonar) para adaptar a tu forma de jugar cada personaje. Conforme vas consiguiendo puntos de batalla en la partida, bien sea capturando bases, cumpliendo objetivos, o eliminando enemigos, puedes "comprar" unidades especiales para manejarlas y aumentar tu daño o tu movilidad. O invertirlas en los diferentes vehículos y héroes.

    En definitiva. Si eres fan de Star Wars vas a disfrutar como un enano hasta cuando no paren de matarte una y otra vez, porque está todo conseguidísimo y muy bien hecho, hasta el más mínimo detalle. Además, como shooter (independientemente de la ambientación galáctica) cumple bastante bien, y es muy variado y entretenido de jugar.

I think EA has at least improved the overall experience though by giving way more maps and heroes, and creating a class system. Also, certain Strikes I think are unfair because they end up being whichever team is more coordinated wins. Overall, I think this game deserves a better rating, even though the microtransation issue is indeed annoying. Although I was able to get Darth Vader within the first few hours of playing without paying anything because the "challenges" give you lots of credits.… Expand

    So i don't mean to be an EA fan boy, as they did do a lot of wrong things with the crates and everything, but they are making some positive changes, and for that the awesome game started to be more enjoyable, so for that i will give it a solid 8.

    Astounding game! Excellent music, graphics are out of this world. The combat mechanics are excellent. The campaign story is very good - however VERY short. If they've made a Witcher type game with this graphics and story - it would have been 10/10.

    I see there are lots of negatives comments - however only about multiplayer. I don't play the multiplayer so can't comment on that.

    Battlefront 2 contains some stunning scenery and some stupid fun gameplay. Although a few hiccups from the publisher, Battlefront 2 certainly deserves a better rating than .9/10. I think some people don’t realize that they can rate something with a number other than 0 or 10, there are 9 numbers in between!

The best I've flown since the old X-Wing/Tie Fighter series.     People should give this game another chance because they fixed all of the issues added a progression system that is good, all star cards are gained from playing the game not from loot boxes, and finally loot crates are optional they are only for emotes and victory poses.

    Needs more variety of heroes. Why is there no Obi Wan, Ashoka, Grievous, Dooku etc?
    Not a massive fan of pay to win, but I preferred the old upgrade system.
    Other than that it’s a great game and a visual masterpiece

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
