    Laughable at best. Worst effort EA has offered. Glitches, color and screen freak outs when using play art before the snap. Worst of all, lately EA has had an offering of different “versions” of Madden. From a base game for $60 all the way to MVP for $99. There is zero difference between any of these versions. A couple of MUT packs and a weak selection of a couple players. CongratsLaughable at best. Worst effort EA has offered. Glitches, color and screen freak outs when using play art before the snap.     I deeply hate EA and their practices of making children gamble their money and how they just make garbage and they expect people to throw money at them for it. It’s sad that there was people like that but I hope that now people understand that EA is a company that does not support gaming nor gamers.

    What a disappointing game. The lack of attention to detail is so blatant when I just played an overtime game, my opponent drove down the field and kicked a FG... game over. The creators don’t even know the RL rules of the damn game

    It is literally the same game as it has been the past 7 years. All EA did was add a rookie class and then focus solely on MUT to make even more money. This game is garbage. Literally look around any stadium and you see Madden 19 and madden 2020 banners. EA couldnt even replace those with updated banners. They legit just cut crap from past games and moved it to this one and focused on MUT.It is literally the same game as it has been the past 7 years.     At this point the NFL License to EA can't be more valuable than making a good football game. NFL, stop this already! Let anyone compete to make an NFL game. There's no competition, which makes this game more awful every year.

    Madden has remained the same with the same glitches that it has every year. There is nothing special about this Madden; it only backs the fact that EA loves money, and not those who support their creations. Madden needs to be rebranded in the same way that COD was by activision. It's the same game same broken schemes that everybody runs that's what makes this franchise so pathetic.

    The game is becoming copy and paste year in year out, the last real great football game was NCAA 14 the way the players ran and how they looked, hit / Juke move animations were way better and not the exact same like the newer maddens, go back and make a game animation wise to NCAA 14 and add newer stuff we will all be happy...

    Thank goodness I bought this on disc, getting money back. Thought I'd dip back into Madden after 3 year gap as I never buy sports games year on year. 3 year gap is least I'll do. So to my amazement, loads taken out, nothing really added. It is glitchy as hell and they should pay us to play it. Terrible!!! Avoid!

    I was sent a review copy of this game and the laziness is glaring. Somehow this game is worse than Madden 20 because the developer insisted on removing features already in place within older games of the series. Really just shows that EA is only making these games as a desperate attempt to grab cash.

    Madden has regressed significantly the past 10 years. Developers made it WAY too animation dependent (Glitchy animations I might add). They're just LAZY. Not to mention, Clint Oldenburg and Ty Stover being jackasses to fans on social media (great look guys!). Horrible game and company.

There are so, SO many ways they could have spiced up the experience but instead we're stuck with a game that is somehow less reactive and more frustrating than ever.

    And that's not to mention all the wasted potential beyond the stale gameplay. Football offers so many opportunities to create interesting stories on and off the field. Having seen all the amazing announcements entering this next generation of consoles... it just makes me angry thinking about the kind of experience these games could offer if only they had any remaining creative spark whatsoever. I was angry about them adding new game modes when their current gameplay sucks, and the modes they currently have are worse that sports games from the early 2010s. I thought maybe it is not as bad as they are saying. Well, I am here to tell you that this game is truly a masterpiece of EAs complacency in the wake of the NFL giving them more years of exclusive rights. It belongs in a landfill, and heads should truly roll at EA for how embarrassing their game is. The real issue is that, because I love football, I still stupidly bought the game. Boredom from quarantine, and a love for football caused me to buy their game against my better judgement. I should have known not to trust them. The worst part is they think we are that stupid. They think we will keep buying their game even though it gets considerably worse. They cannot even get their game to be the same level of trash every year. How do you explain that? And you know what, I actually was as stupid as they thought. I bought the game for 60 bucks. Thank you EA for dragging me out of the darkness to realize just how mind-numbingly worthless and lazy your game really is.     This game is absolute trash. I was up 60-12 and they made one play on a pass and the announcer said they have been a lockdown D all game. FoF stops actual animation once you get to the league, have had field with no yard markers, my FoF player photo is well....off. This is the worst madden I’ve ever played and probably won’t buy any future versions.

    Literally play any other Madden before....I want to say....2012....before the advent of microtransactions. Play 02 to like 12 and you’ll see an amalgamation of content and features that EA so disgracefully replaced with booty ass features and an entire gambling mechanic. $60 roster update only begins to describe this game....there’s so much more wrong

    Been the same game for years. Broken AI. Players not doing what they’re supposed to be doing on certain play calls. Players going rogue and changing plays. Clear penalties not called in the passing game. This is a simulation and animation driven game that relinquishes user control to programmed animations. Do not buy this game.

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.
