    This is just Madden NFL 20 with a bit of gloss paint over and this is still the same Madden we have seen for the last 10 years. Full of micro transactions and not worth one pound. luck I can get a full refund. just do not buy this. poor game full of bugs and lag and another poor game from EA the crooks of the games world.

    This game is atrocious. Same game as Madden 20, which was a bad game. Franchise mode has been the same for years. All they added was pass rush moves and the yard. This game should be a 6 max. I’m giving it a 0 because EA has ran out of excuses in my eyes. Do not buy!!!!

    This game, like EA is a disgrace. Buying Madden NFL 21 or even the last three or more games in the series is the equivalent of buying an expensive broken down Lamborghini that's been in a dumpster for far too long, and reeks of rotten food, drugs and rat feces. Please don't waste your money.

Due to a complete lack of any type of understanding on how a game should be, and a complacent attitude from the Executives, the result of 0.0 has been enacted. A complete shamble of just major issues. I have an 80$ coaster, that serves my table safety, more so than my safety. It's money first, new game same frame next year. Wasted money,This is my first madden purchase since 2006.     I don't know what to say, the game is awful! EA should be ashamed of this game, but they are proud of it. How can you keep making this game so bad when you used to make this game so good?? You would think that with all the technology the game would be awesome, but that's not the case with Madden anymore, it keeps getting worse and worse.

How can a billion dollar company not get the simplest football concepts right??? Save your money! Receivers don't animate. Game is super buggy. The fact that EA expects their fan base to pay $60+ for a yearly roster update is beyond insulting. The amount of effort put into this review supercedes the entire time put into developing this game.

This is surprising since Madden 20 ran at a stable 60fps despite looking practically the same graphics wise. I’ve encountered a bunch of game breaking bugs and glitches which shows to me that they didn’t put care or effort into this game. It was just a cash grab for their MUTI deleted the game after only playing for an hour. The game runs horribly on the PS4 Pro with constant frame dips. It's been 4 years with the frostbite engine and it's still the same garbage, animations are a mess, ball physics is still awful, playing vs cpu is like taking a candy from a baby, there's 0 attention to detail, players ai is as bad as it's been for the last 15Plain and simple it's advertised as a football simulation game but it doesn't look like football and doesn't play like football.     Players look like **** not only do they not look like their real life counterparts but it looks like they are using only one body type, so you can barely distinguish a Db from a lineman.

    The worst is that they're trying to pretend it's a game as service that will improve according to users feedback.... this is just infuriating, **** OFF !!! the players have been telling what they want for over a decade and it's the same garbage every year. 10+ years and i still have to turn on my fking ps2 and play espn 2k5 if i want actual simulation football.

    I remember how great this game use to be. Its the same game from the last 5 6 years at least. Its Glitchy, slow and buggy menus. Its the sNs exact game play its just a cooy and last mess. You could at least bring back FRANCHISE MODE already. All they focus on is that stupid card game to make money from dummies willing to pay .

    Got boring very quickly. They somehow managed to add mouthpieces and other gear in the yard but not the rest of the game. I'm not sure how that happens.

Oh yeah, and those mouth pieces that players have been asking for for years, that’s exclusive to this mode. Franchise is still untouched and MUT is still as greedy as ever. Personally, I think 2K would do a much better job with the NFL license. Sure, they’re also being lazy with NBA 2K but at least they have a quality product before they do so. Do I think it’s worth to buy this game? No. Not in the slightest. NFL games from 2005 have way more content and enjoyment than Madden has had in its lifetime. NFL2K5 is a prime example of this. It’s also exactly what Madden isn’t: Simulation. Sure EA might have the contract for a Simulation NFL game, but they completely ignore the Simulation aspects of the game and instead only put their time and effort into microtransaction filled modes. The game mode has no replay-ability due to a storyline that made absolutely no sense to me, and the outcomes of every action you take having no consequence. ISomehow, EA tricks me every year into buying this game. I was lured this year by Face of The Franchise. I knew it wasn't going to be great, being a new mode and all, but I never thought it would be as cheesy and boring as it was. The game mode has no replay-ability due to a storyline that made absolutely no sense to me, and the outcomes of every action you take having no consequence. I literally played as bad as I could and still made it to the NFL and started my rookie year.

    I do like some of the features, i.e. throwing out of a sack, quicker throwing animations, a slowed down defense, the ability to (kind of) throw the ball where I want, and a few other things, but these features where in older (and previous EA games) to begin with.

    All I want is a realistic, in-depth, simulation football game to play, and this is not that game. It's unfortunate that this is the only option on the market. I will have to continue playing NCAA 14', Madden 08' & 12', and Head Coach 09' for another year.

    Every year, I tell myself that I am done with the Madden series, and I never follow through, but after being disappointed and, frankly, lied to for another consecutive year, it will take a hell of an effort for EA to ever get me to purchase another product that they develop.    … Expand

Face of the franchise is the worst piece of storytelling I have ever seen, you could find more realistic storylines from a $1 book from the library.     We as a community cannot let this pass. Madden 20 assets, same franchise for the 4th consecutive year, misspelled menu words, and The gameplay im not even gonna dive into that. It’s awful. EA is a Monopoly. Whenever the #NFLDropEA was trending, they gave THOUSANDS. UPON THOUSANDS of copies away, maybe even millions. They did that to keep you silent. Don’t let up. #EndMaddenMonopoly

    Literally the same game as 20 repackaged and distributed to collect another year of gross sales under “Madden 21”... yes EA did that.... they did and is shameful.

They once again just copied and pasted madden from the previous 8 years into this game. Do not waste your 60 dollars on this game. At this point this SHOULD BE FREE TO PLAY.

    This is a disaster. I paid $60 for a game that is literally copy and paste from the last four years, with a few major exceptions. And these exceptions are even worse as they are simply more aggressive monetization schemes. Avoid this game at ALL costs.

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.

    For NFL diehards, there remains hundreds of gaming hours at your disposal in Madden 21. These same diehards – much like players of EA’s NHL and Sony’s The Show – will be left with the impression they’ve played this game before, however.
