    I've never written a user review on metacritic before, but quite frankly I feel obligated to do so for this insulting product. I started playing video games back with Super Mario Brothers, and this is unquestionably the laziest money grab product I've ever played. Aside from the roster upgrade, it's EXACTLY the same as last year's game, but with tons of bugs.     I play exclusively franchise mode. No changes or improvements made to the mode so there’s no reason for me to buy the game this year. I’ve officially retired from Madden. I tried to stick it out thru Madden 20 but realized after 2 seasons of CFM it wasn’t a good game. Learning from my mistakes early this year.

    I think the fan base is done with EA. This game has nothing new to offer other than giving EA a chance to get more microtransactions money out of you. Under no circumstances should you buy this game. Especially if you own the one from the previous year.

    An atrocious football simulation game. EA has greatly expanded the number of game modes in Madden over the past couple of years at the detriment to the depth and immersion of all modes in the game. This game added no features to its already anemic franchise mode and it features many bugs upon release such as rainbow colored coaches, players wearing the wrong college jerseys #EndMaddenMonopoly

    I’ve bought madden every year for the last 20 years. No more. This game is a joke. EA should be embarrassed. How you can’t make a decent franchise mode in 2020 is beyond me. All they care about is MUT. It has ruined madden. There is no immersion to this game. It feels completely stale. I’m honestly more sad than mad. I love football but I can’t buy this game.

    One would think that they accidentally purchased Madden 20. This game is beyond awful. I wish I still had a PS2 in order to play Madden games that were actually worth spending money on. How in the world have they not been able to port this series to the Nintendo Switch? EA has become a publisher to avoid.

    I was sent a review copy of this game and the laziness is glaring. Somehow this game is worse than Madden 20 because the developer insisted on removing features already in place within older games of the series. Really just shows that EA is only making these games as a desperate attempt to grab cash.

So here we have the two most popular modes for simulation NFL fans and they are **** to be blunt. Next we have MUT, the reason why Madden is so bad. It's simply a gambling 101 simulator where it teaches you the value of your money as you waste hundreds of dollars trying to get players who will only be the best in the game for that week as new cards come out. Not to mention all of the EA shills who spend thousands of dollars with increased pack odds to swindle young and naive players into "swiping mom's credit card". The Yard, the big new and exciting mode for players to gravitate to is just another version of MUT with a cosmetic shop with crappy items worth the real world dollar. Mouthpieces for the yard, but not for create a player. The mode was simply created because EA is scared that 2K will be able to create and arcade football game with more depth then their "simulation" experience. Pathetic excuse for a video game.     Nothing you haven't seen in Madden 21 if you've played Madden.

    It's awful so called "critics" rated this game 50,60/100.
    Game hasn't changed any bit, they didn't even care about many bugs that are still happening in the game. EA's just f-ing with fans, and they are going to ruin this whole series.
    I really hope devs will wake up soon and won't try to bribe critics.

They hadn't even fully removed the Washington Redskins stuff. And i really really really hate the new D linemen move mechanics with the right stick.     Gameplay, mechanics and UI is essentially the same. The new game modes don't change this. My last hope is if the generation jump can change anything, but I have serious doubts at this point

They nerfed defense and usering LBs so that no matter how hard you press the triangle button you can’t get them to jump. They all feel like they run in slow motion and have no brain when the ball gets thrown. Honestly the franchise mode is COMPLETELY untouched. I’mThis game is absolutely trash!!     Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.
