Sep 13, 2014This game is is like the Phantasy Star online of the FPS genre. Its a hub based theme park MMO with the best shooting mechanics ever placed into a FPS mmo. How far this game goes will depend entirely on how fast they put out content. As it is now, if you enjoy the combat you will likely put in hundreds of hours into the game.

Sep 14, 2014Not the best game in the world, but pretty solid. It suffers from being over hyped. But I enjoy the game and think it gets at least a 9 out of 10.All these crazy low scores are unjustified.

Sep 22, 2014Solid pve gameplay, addictive loot-system and fun pvp. Nice graphics, sound and superb music. Needs in-game Grimoire-card viewer and raid matchmaking.

Oct 14, 2014Good shooter with elements of FPS, MMO and RPG. Excellent gun play, graphic and soundtrack. Great multiplayer and coop. But the story is broken. A shame. Dont blame Bungie, its Activision's fault.

Oct 3, 2014Fantastic Bungie gameplay, beautiful world, art, music and user interface. Felt a bit grindy until I got into the swing of things, and I'd like to see more diversity in PvP, though I suspect that will change as I level up.

Sep 11, 2014Great game. I's Halo with RPG elements. Yes, very much like Spartan Ops from Halo. The story does suck and to be honest, it is the same thing over and over, but that "same thing" is SOOO much fun.

Nov 7, 2014After having over 20 hours in destiny, i can safely say that it is a really good game, the gameplay is very refined, the story may not be very good and it was definitely overhyped. My main complaints with the game include the lackluster story, the annoying item system and the strange amor light system. i think it is worth the purchase if you like either halo or borderlands.

Oct 1, 2014The game is a solid new IP. I believe the sequel will be what we all wanted this one to be. The mechanics are solid, the controls actually work, and everything feels good. Nice job bungie.

Apr 3, 2022It's Bungie, that's for sure. They made the **** Halo tp Halo Reach games that are as **** as Destiny. This studio just can't make good games.

Sep 16, 2014I am having HEAPS of fun with DESTINY. I am playing with a full 3-man fire team though (I honestly don't know why others reviewers on here are playing the game on their own, don't you have any friends!?!) and it is STACK of fun. Enemies do get a bit repetitive but the bounties will vary the way you approach each mission. All in all a very good game, but does still have room for improvement.

Nov 25, 2014Although Destiny isn't the brilliant start to a franchise that many had hoped for, it's a great game for those who can push through its flaws and enjoy the ride.

Edge MagazineNov 5, 2014What is most amazing of all is that despite its litany of weird little problems, Destiny is fantastic, its combat up there with the very best, the thrilling rhythm of its battles still not fading the 30th time through, and it has no single systemic problem that is not fixable. Pelit (Finland)Oct 25, 2014Destiny is a flawed but still extremely fun first person shooter. While the Destiny universe itself seems intriguing, the storyline is told in such an incoherent manner that it's hard not to be turned off by all the technobabble. Fortunately the co-op shooter mechanics are absolutely perfect. The loot system can be maddening, but in a way it adds to the game's addictiveness. [Oct 2014]
