    This game should never have been released anywhere but on PC and PS5/XSX. But the PS4/XB1 represented too many potential sales for CDPR so they clearly decided to lie and sell a pipe dream despite knowing for years they would never be able to deliver. Sure, they could remove bugs, downgrade it even more to avoid freezes, rework scripts, but nothing will make a mechanical drive work as fast as an SSD, which is obviously required to stream all that data.     The bugs never were as terrible as others claimed. I suffered from a few crashes, but that’s about it. The story is really interesting and the game got me hooked almost immediately. The potential for this game is incredibly high. This game will receive more updates and DLC. Keep an eye out for that!

    Being a PS4 Slim owner, I am not extremely exigent and I do my share of expectation managing when it comes to recent AAA titles released on the platform. That said, with Cyberpunk 2077, it is the first time I chose NOT to play a game I've waited long for because my immersion is broken at literally every 5-10 seconds of gameplay. The framerate is, at all times, nowhere near the 30fps mark.Being a PS4 Slim owner, I am not extremely exigent and I do my share of expectation managing when it comes to recent AAA titles released on the platform. That said, with Cyberpunk 2077, it is the first time I chose NOT to play a game I've waited long for because my immersion is broken at literally every 5-10 seconds of gameplay. The framerate is, at all times, nowhere near the 30fps mark. I did not expect the game to run on a 100% stable 30fps, but I certainly did not expect framerates as low as 15fps and a CONSTANT 20-23fps on open areas and even frequent drops on indoors locations. Sadly, beyond this (or maybe because of this) there are also clear mechanical issues. Sprinting and using heaing items is absolutely irresponsive, sometimes I have to press the button 3-4 times until the game responds.

    I am extremely disapointed. We all know the base ps4s are dated hardware but we've seen many other extremely demanding games delive a much better experience on the platform. I've managed to play AC Valhalla, for an example, even with its share of problems, Horizon Zero Dawn, Control, The Last of Us 2, God Of War (even though some of these are not open world games)... the list goes on. Besides that, you have announced the game many years ago and launched this product for PC and CURRENT GEN consoles, when its clear next gen consoles (even Xbox Series S) are running it more properly (still, there are bugs, but at least the immersion is there with a good framerate).

    CDPR has launched an unfinished product. They ran out of time and it shows. SAMO story that we faced with the Final Fantasy Versus XIII/XV situation. I just hope on this case the developer actually gets to fix it. My feelings for all the employees who have worked/are working on this game and had to crunch under an impossible deadline (and certainly voiced it).

    I really wish CDPR fixes the base console state, as much as it pains me to think how much more crunch it will probably generate for their employees.

    Finally, the widespread fact that the project paid itself with pre-sales is proof that the game industry needs some radical changes. As console version consumers, we are utterly disrespected.

    I'm giving it a 1/10 'cause I realize how good of a game this is, but you lose 9 points as its an unfinished project.    … Expand

    Played on ps4 pro, loved it, side quests and and crafting could be better, more choices that matter would be better as well. Romance, main story, etc. I dropped the review down a grade from my pc version, as it doesnt look as good and until the last patch, i would get many crashes

    Game clearly needed more time ti be worked on but due to death threats and sty fanboys im sure they pushed it out early. Game is fun, game is broken. Vaseline over the screen is how she looks but other than that, give it a few months and bam goty

    I pre-ordered this game in June 2019. I loved Witcher 3. This was probably my most anticipated title of the last 5 years. And I was astounded at how bad it was. Not since Skyrim on the PS3 have I encountered a game this broken that actually made it on to store shelves. Returned the game after 5 hours of playtime. The game was stuttering in the intro before I even pushed start. II pre-ordered this game in June 2019. I loved Witcher 3. This was probably my most anticipated title of the last 5 years. And I was astounded at how bad it was. Not since Skyrim on the PS3 have I encountered a game this broken that actually made it on to store shelves. Returned the game after 5 hours of playtime. The game was stuttering in the intro before I even pushed start. I could barely see anything in the tutorial (no amount of gamma adjustment fixed it). Every NPC, Enemy, Hackable, and loot pickup was a blurry mess until you got about 2 feet and even then some things wouldn't clear up. And then when you finally get to the actual game world? Sweet mother of mercy. Anything that isn't scripted almost always breaks. The AI in top down sprite based RPGs from the Super Nintendo era was more intuitive. The crashes start soon after you get into Night City proper.
    Its bad. Its really really bad.

    I fully recognize that this game was going to perform better on PC vs last gen consoles. But there is no excuse for what happened here when you have open world titles like Horizon, Spider-Man, and RDR2 that look and play very well on the PS4. There is a gulf of difference between a performance downgrade and this disaster. This developer (CDPR) and publisher (WB) have squatted and delivered the fecal icing on the 2020 cake. With COVID, this game should have been released in Q4 2023. It would take three years of a studio full time to have brought this game to "RDR2 levels", which CDPR themselves claimed. It's that unfinished when coming from a studio that made W3 and in an age of GTAIV even, should have been the minimum bar for cars, physics, and player customization? So this game is a lost cause. Not by lack of skill or effort from the talent at CDPR, but from upper management forcing this game through. You could blame the death threats that were being doled out every time this game got delayed, but part of that is the amount of times it was delayed. Dying Light 2 comes to mind. It was slated to release Q1 2020, but then just got pushed back indefinitely. Sure, people were upset, but not near as upset when there are three push-backs (April, Sept, Oct, Dec).

    Now, let's talk about playability: The very first time I booted up the game, it failed. I booted it up again, knowing the PS4 was underpowered for this game, and immediately turned down the settings in the main menu. I then couldn't even back out of the settings menu, and restarted the game. I was told the games settings file was corrupted, and have since seen a dozen or so crashes in a dozen or so play hours. Cars flying everywhere, characters getting stuck in walls, music, physics, and a slew of other bugs are rampant. I can have faith those will eventually get patched, and I'll be getting a PS5 later this year and was offered a free digital copy on that console, so not too terribly focused on that right now. I should be, but the state of the core gameplay fully overshadows it. There are some really cool parts of the game as well as details, but this game can't even touch the sandbox worlds of even GTA:SA or RDR1, as well as the RPG and details of the the Witcher 3. I have much respect for CDPR, but thinking upper management will probably turn this studio into the other top AAA studios; they'll eventually cut their losses and move on to their next game long before this game will be anywhere near where it should have been. I could go on and on. I can post a video of heavy glitches and bugs for every five minutes in-game! I could compare the lack luster game aspects to Saints Row 2 and a Mafia game and come out behind even those games, but I'll stop here. Sure, not many other games like this to play right now, so some people might as well buy it and enjoy it. But the new top brass at CDPR has ruined an opportunity to release a game of the decade, and will potentially ruin one of my favorite studios forever. Absolutely soul crushing for me...    … Expand

    - Most of the characters in the game have a bunch of side stories which are fun, different and satisfying. - The progress system is really amazing and fun. - The main story is great and fun to play. - Nice secrets in game - Awesome cars Bad: - Well....bugs...a lot of them - NPCs are super dumb - Choices really    I honestly cannot stop playing!     I have never written a review before finishing a game, but that's the problem with this game: I CANNOT FINISH IT. I usually overlook bugs and glitches in games but not this one. The bugs are terrible. Nothing is loaded probably, bugs and glitches are everywhere which makes it impossible to play this game.

    I am currently at Act 2 and if I overlook all the glitches then I am still    I have never written a review before finishing a game, but that's the problem with this game: I CANNOT FINISH IT.     I am currently at Act 2 and if I overlook all the glitches then I am still disappointed.

    From a base PS4 perspective.
    - The fps drops massively.
    - The cars feel bad to drive with.
    - The guns feel bad to shoot with.
    - The Dualshock interactions have delayed actions.
    - The tutorials and instructions are massive.
    - The menu is bad is mainly PC-mouse focused. Using the d-pad gives slow navigation. Besides you cannot use the d-pad in certain parts of the menu and the mouse curser is always visible, it will never disappear.
    - The camera is always in first-person which makes mediocre cinematography. Thankfully you can zoom out of the car.
    - The open world is difficult to navigate through because the mini map dominates the experience. I have to look at the mini map when making a turn which makes me do lots of 180 degree turns. The game does no guide me on the road (Arkham Knight or Tsushima) or guides with an advanced compass (God of War).
    - The characters are boring especially V, since I do not know the motivations that drives the character.
    - The loading screens takes forever!
    + I do like the RPG elements where different choices makes a big impact especially the past since it gives more choices.
    + The guns have lots of varieties.
    + Body parts are varieties as well.
    + Game playthroughs are varied.
    + Lots of vehicles.

    From a marketing perspective.
    - Cyberpunk 2077 should not have been a current gen game, only a next-gen game.    … Expand

    The game is fundamentally broken, it crashes every 30 minutes or so. CDPR released this game unfinished/unpolished. What should have took me an hour to complete is taking me 3 or 4 just because I have to reboot my PS4 Pro or keep getting stuck in a glitch. 1/10 is generous.

Dar uma sensação de vazio ! O jogo teria sido 1 marco na História dos vídeos games caso tivesse lançado sem Bugs com 1 opção de câmera em 3º pessoa, igual tem nos veículos do Game

    Its unplayable on ps4, on the ps5 its ok-ish. The textures are poping in, NPCs making T poses, some NPC in side quests are glitching out, so I could not complete it. The story is ok. The score is so low because I waited 8 years, almost 1 y delay to polish the game and the end product is meh. U really get the feeling the game was over hyped.

    Come on man! I was planning on kick back and relax playing Cyberpunk over the weekend, but I'm not so sure about anymore. You might wonder why am I giving this game a score of 1 having played barely an hour, easy, I CAN'T PLAY ANYMORE! The freaking game glitch during a tutorial mission and I can't move forward. I have to restart the whole thing from scratch.

    -Cops don't chase you.
    -AI doesn't use any tactics during combat,
    they just rush over you from point A to point B,
    or remain stationary at the same point like dummies.
    -Driving is laughably bad.

    - shooting feels either unresponsive or over-sensitive, very difficult to find a setting where the crosshairs go exactly where you intended them to go.

    - Inventory has the Outer Worlds feature where item description pops up every time and covers most of the item screen so you're always guessing where the next weapon you wanted to check actually was.

    - Menu bar drifts downward slowly by itself

    - All settings are reset to default after a crash (or most of the time anyway)

    and many more. To sum it up, they should've delayed it for a few months more at least, and never released it on last-gen consoles.    … Expand

If you shoot someone, cops appear right behind you immediately, because there is no AI coded into the game. Missions are exposition heavy if you're into that, it's like 35 minutes of dialog and 15 minutes of action. If I could return this digital purchase IIt feels like the screen is smudged with vaseline.     Ok, i played the game now for around 12 hours the last 3 days on my ps4 slim and it's actually not that bad as expected. I followed the news and was not very amused about what i heard about the game. So, on the one hand many things are true:

    -frameratedrops also happened to me but not    Ok, i played the game now for around 12 hours the last 3 days on my ps4 slim and it's actually not that bad as expected. I followed the news and was not very amused about what i heard about the game. So, on the one hand many things are true:

    -frameratedrops also happened to me but not often and what is most important: not on exciting places or during combat action! So this is a relatively common thing in games nothing worth hating the game!
    -Sadly the game crashed two times in my 12 hours gameplay, which is also less often than i expected, still recommend quicksafe often.
    -Indeed it has some glitches and bugs, but also nothing which could make the game unplayable.

    Conclusion: The disadvantages and bugs we heard about in the recent days since release are true but on the other hand in Version 1.06 (current version) it's totally playable. Fighting is mostly flawless, till now i had no lags or FR-drops during shooting. Visuals look stunning at least in quest-conversations and during driving (car and asphalt) which is a big part of the game!
    Either way i'm not that interested in best visuals, i would always prefer gameplay and story over a great look, so maybe my review is way more positive that the others. So if you are a guy like me who prefers story and gameplay over visuals, this is a game I can recommend on the ps4 (at least if you don't posses a high end PC)

    As far as I played - this game is awesome! If your potato PC cannot run it - buy a new one you **** peasants. Keep it up Cd Projekt Red and don't listen to those jerks!

    The game is almost unplayable in PS4 and almost playable in PS5. The world and the characters are very interesting but the technical issues are unforgiven for a seven year project in development..
    Wish the patches will change the situation.

I understand that the hardware isn't strong enough to run the game comfortably but they knew what they're working with and you either make the game work or you just don't bother at all.     So they basically rewrite the whole game after Keanu Reeves hops in, they just forget to mention that to people who wait roleplay game. And because it was so short time after Keanu, the end product is completely broken mess. This is so bad that it is just bad.

    Cyberpunk 2077 whatever its technical failings is a terrible RPG. It's shallow. The RPG elements feel tacked on almost. It's as if they decided to make a cyberpunk version of Grand Theft Auto instead but forgot all the fun parts and the attention to detail present in that series.

    PCDR should be ashamed of this game and the underhand way they released it.

    It is very obvious the game is getting review bombed you can't say a game is a one or a 10 not even a 9 to be very honest. I play it on my PS5 so far I have yet to run into major bugs except one where a female sitting legs were missing. The game is fun the story is good its not Witcher level but its pretty good. I like the mix of cultures mostly Japanese urban mix blends well. The gun play is okay I wish they focused on the mechanics and RPG element better you can tell they really were just too ambitious but dosent make sense how Witcher 3 was more polish than this i don't maybe the game engine is not optimized for 4K yet Witch is in 4K so I can't tell you. Why the developers couldn't get it done but to say its a 10 or 1 is just immature and is not correct just like TLOU2 is not a 1 or 10. This game is a solid 7 or 8 taking into account game breaking bugs and combat could be a little better. CDPR most likely learned their lesson maybe they will fix this and make it right I can only hope. I believe holding them accountable get your money back but don't be like they are scum many of you still buy 2K, Bethesda, and EA game and they are true scummy companies and don't admit **** CDPR at least admit they f'd up and vow to fix it.     Наконец то я прошел Cyberpunk 2077. Скажу честно, мне мало! Хотя ждать пришлось почти год, что бы пройти его на PlayStation 4.
    О том, что понравилось.
    Cyberpunk 2077 это произведение которое надо проходить запоем, не разбавляя другими играми. Иначе просто потеряешь нить повествования и суть прокачки. Да прокачка здесь просто глобальная, качается просто всё, как в каком нибудь The Elder    Наконец то я прошел Cyberpunk 2077. Скажу честно, мне мало! Хотя ждать пришлось почти год, что бы пройти его на PlayStation 4.

    Сюжет коротковат но очень насыщен всякими поворотами сценария. В игре много концовок, я так думаю. Я получил не очень хорошую, попробую ещё. Да, совет всем, проходить по возможности со всеми доп. заданиями, они здесь бывают длинные и интересные. Я совершил ошибку пойдя по сюжету, взял только штук пять доп. заданий и смог прокачаться всего процентов на 20 до окончания сюжета. Карта огромная, но открыл я её, опять таки, примерно процентов на 60. Доп. миссии обязательны!
    Да ещё, меня очень удивил пролог, я наиграл часов 5 и только после этого понял, что игра ещё даже не началась, а мне лишь показали название самой игры! Некоторые современные игры за 5 часов можно полностью пройти!
    Мне понравилась боёвка, с оружием всё в порядке, его очень много и оно улучшается, понравился взлом и хакерство вцелом. Вообще игра очень похожа на смесь Fallout 3, Skyrim и Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
    Действующие герои просто великолепны: Панам Палмер - красавица, надо замутить с ней романтическую линию в будущем, Джеки Уэллс, Горо Такэмура ну и Джонни Сильверхенд, за него даже дают поиграть. И это малая часть нпс с которыми очень приятно общаться. Ё моё они буквально живые люди!
    В сюжете намешано много стереотипов. Есть из Твин Пикса, из Робокопа, из Shadow of Mordor и т. д. Вообще Cyberpunk 2077, почерпнул ото всех понемногу. И всё это сплетено очень хорошо и самое главное работает!
    Графику на PlayStation 4 оценить трудно, но лицевая анимация в норме, мир тоже красивый. Если его доработать будет просто великолепен.
    Атмосфера. Дааа из игры очень трудно выйти даже на PlayStation 4.
    Также игра очень хорошо озвучина, это огромный плюс в РПГ.
    Теперь о не очень хорошем.
    Да игра сыровата. Текстуры иногда не прорисовываются по 10 секунд. Иногда падает фпс. Один раз игра вылетела.
    Ещё мне не очень понравилось меню персонажа. Оно красное и цвет изменить нельзя. Также оно очень перегруженное, я к нему долго привыкал и до конца игры находил, что то новое. Вообще у игры высокий уровень вхождения, но если погрузился.....всё не выйти!
    Резюмирую. Игра прекрасная, но сырая. Вот такой парадокс. Наверно пройду её второй раз со всеми доп. заданиями, но на консоли нового поколения, когда её куплю. Надеюсь игру к тому времени допилют как положено.
    Рекомендавать на PlayStation 4 игру не могу, но и "0" и "1" верить тоже не надо. Игра очень хорошая, но ей мешает убогость при выпуске. А "0" ставят скорее всего те, кто игру даже не прошел.    … Expand

    I have it on PS5, and even there is a mess... lots o bugs, crashes in the middle of a mission, etc. I had lots of expectations on his game, because i love the background, but right now on ps5 ( i cant imagine on ps4) is not a good experience, wait for a new version or something.

I expected some glitches in the open world, but weirdly most occur in the important story set pieces. Which really pull you out of the experience. *spoiler warning for something that was in a trailer 6 months ago * As Jackie dies, he holds up the Johnny Silverhand data shard to your face, except he doesn't, because it seems to be invisible. Dexter Deshawn betrays you, but you can't take him seriously as his arm keeps flapping around like hes doing a bizarre chicken dance. Flashback to Johnny Silverhand's last hurrah, but you can't focus on the story moment because Johnny's partners' jacket keeps glitching off and flying around the room like Doctor Stranges' cape! You wake up in a high speed car chase, the driver passes you a gun. Except he doesn't because it's invisible. So i feel like i should point my finger at the chasing cyborgs and go 'pew pew?' To change view in a car, i have to press the assigned button 10 times, pull over and wait 20 seconds Before anything happens. I've had to Reload saves when key button prompts don't work. Seen people fly around. Texture pop in on a massive scale, Such as the freaking skybox! Now this next part isn't a glitch, but it's infuriating... You can't change your appearance once you've started the game! WTF. A game where body-modifications are everything, and a huge focus is is on appearance and street cred, and you can't even get a haircut! You are stuck with the character appearance you chose at the start of this 40+ hour experience. Normally i wouldn't mind but in the context of the game world it makes zero sense!

    Don't buy the console version. IT'S NOT FINISHED.

I haven't tried melee combat yet, but it seems like that would require an even bigger investment to make that viable in combat.

    Overall, this game was just rushed out and the lack of polish shows up in every aspect of the game. The narrative might be the only exception here. If it weren't for the bugs,crashes, and developer deception, this would be an 8/10 game for me.    … Expand

I remember Assassin creed unity lunch day, all social media and website crushed this game just because it has some minor bugs on pc. But why nobody criticizes this game?     This game is a disappointment. 7 years of hype and wait just for this buggy mess. I have faced countless crashes and graphical glitches throughout my playthrough on PS4. I regret buying it on launch day. Please fix this game so that people give it a second chance. It was not worth the wait at all.

    Baught this game for 4000 rupees. Thats more than I could afford yet did it because I waited for 8 years. And the crap I recived once I ran it in my PS4 is unbelievable. I'm still to rate games story and other aspect but graphically, finishing wise, the game sucks. FPS drops, rendering issues, glitches and bugs. You name it. Shame

    I play this game in Xbox one x and it’almost unplayable. The game runs at 20fps at 720p it’s a shame in 2020 pay for a full price AAA videogame on mid gen console and find Nintendo switch version. Wasted money

City looks lifeless, No NPC, Even Gta vice city had better npc ai than this **** No 1080p, it gives 600 to 720p, Fps drops to 15 a lot, Bad texture, Short story, Tons of bugs and glitches. Extremely bad graphics and poorly optimized. Aside from technical issues, the game itself is not that good.

    No, base console players do not expect PC level graphics. But it doesn't even hold up to the graphics of games made in 2015, because of terrible optimization. Grainy, blurry visuals with texture pop in and frame rate lag all combined with a bunch of bugs and at least one crash on any extended playthrough. Even with the latest update (1.06), it still looks as though it's being played on a low-end laptop from 2009...

    When open world games like Ghost of Tsushima and Red Dead Redemption 2 look phenomenal on base PS4s, there is really no excuse for a triple A title that said it ran "surprisingly well" on them months ago. At least be transparent about it.

    I really held CDProjektRed to a higher standard than other game companies, but after this blatant stab in the back to millions of gamers I just don't know about them anymore. Even investors are suing now for the way they misled console players all year long.

    Maybe the January & February patches will make it look like an actual AAA product worth sixty dollars, but right now it is not worth that price. What an incredibly awful, unexpected disappointment.    … Expand

    Game is broken for the ps4 atm. Feels like I've been scammed. This game is full of glitches and game breaking bugs, wouldn't recommend any ps4 users buy this.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
