    God people are such toxic idiots. The same idiots crying that the game was getting delayed are now crying that its buggy. Sucks that its buggy on last gen hardware but on a PS5 its running great. Dont Browne these stupid scores, the game will be patched up and underneath this is an excellent game that is easily GOTY quality.

    Amazing game, that spoiled gen z babies want to run perfectly. I remember when skyrim released on ps3 and ran worse than this yet was praised by everyone. We as gamers have become spoiled and this is an amazing game with great gameplay and open world.

    Uma das piores experiências que tive em um console. Jogo totalmente incompleto, lotado de bugs, quedas de FPS, falta de renderização em todo o cenário, cidade vazia e crashando o PS4.
    Não vale o investimento, se possível peça reembolso ou não compre.
    Tivemos Res Dead Redemption nesta geração, falar que este console não rode algo minimamente aceito é balela.

    • Promised to be optimized for consoles and beggars - we laid out a picchu with system requirements. As a result, the game does not even run at average settings, the consoles give out 15-20 FPS, soap. As for the multitude of bugs that have spilled over into ridiculous views, I’m generally silent. There are advertisements for Times Square and buses in London, but not for optimization.

    uma vergonha, eu TINHA esse jogo no PC, antes de reembolsa-lo, mas tive o desprazer de poder jogar no PS4, plataforma onde o jogo está INJOGAVEL (framerate vergonhosa, graficos horríveis, cheio de bugs, crashes / tela azul da depressão, etc)... Como se não bastasse isso, o jogo em si, tem potencial, mas se vierem a corrigir esses problemas, não é nada demais (aparenta boa historia,uma vergonha, eu TINHA esse jogo no PC, antes de reembolsa-lo, mas tive o desprazer de poder jogar no PS4, plataforma onde o jogo está INJOGAVEL (framerate vergonhosa, graficos horríveis, cheio de bugs, crashes / tela azul da depressão, etc)...     Antes de lanzar un juego terminenlo bien carajo el juego es injugable mejor lo hubieran retrasado y así pulirlo bien pero joder en un día ya hay más de 50gb en actualizaciones y ni así queda bien el juego.

    What I liked: incredibly beautiful and detailed world, incredible interesting characters, the plot is very attractive. I played 60 hours and I can't stop.

    I should first note that I am reviewing Cyberpunk 2077 after playing the PS4 port on a PS5 via backwards compatibility. I should also note that I am going to list loads of negative critiques about Cyberpunk 2077, which may at times seem to contradict my overall favorable rating of the game. That is simply because the game is massive, made for investing tons of hours into it, multipleI should first note that I am reviewing Cyberpunk 2077 after playing the PS4 port on a PS5 via backwards compatibility. I should also note that I am going to list loads of negative critiques about Cyberpunk 2077, which may at times seem to contradict my overall favorable rating of the game. That is simply because the game is massive, made for investing tons of hours into it, multiple playthroughs and features the largest map I've seen in a video game. Something that big can absorb a lot of tough criticism. What it cannot absorb are endless amounts of bugs, constant crashes and glitchy systems within the game.

    I think I will begin there, as performance is Cyberpunk's biggest problem by far. This game made me feel like I was playing something I shouldn't have been playing, like I'd somehow stumbled across a preview build of the most anticipated game of the year that was meant for internal testers. It bothers me every time I stop to appreciate the breathtaking map of Night City that the game was released in the state it's in, where phone calls can overlap and play dialogue on top of one another, where Judy, one of the coolest NPCs I've ever come across, can clip through walls, where I'm more familiar with the Playstation 5 crash screen than I am with the month-old console itself. Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that fights against itself. To enjoy it in the state it currently exists in, requires patience, but even then, it is difficult to come to terms that a game that spent so many years in development, was delayed multiple times and clearly cost many millions of dollars to make, was ultimately thrown out to the wolves by its own developer.

    What's bad about Cyberpunk isn't as bad as that fact. That does not forgive it for its flaws, though they do pale in comparison. In order to properly discuss its' failings, I have to highlight the game's greatest success, which is its' setting. CD Project Red nailed Night City. It looks like no other open world game I've played. Its' art style appeals to me on every level. The city tells its' own story every time you take sight of it. It's overrun with advertisements, corporate greed on clear display, with seedier sections of the city that show its' neon-lit look lures to kill.

    The setting is so fully realized, yet undercut by lacking interaction by the NPCs that inhabit it. Poke at any pedestrian and you'll quickly be reminded that the AI responsible for animating it is extremely limited. NPCs that are nearby the constant gunfights that players will participate in on Night City's open streets will appropriately run and cower, most of the time. But even after all the bullets have been emptied, they'll remain ducked down, stuck in a state of fear, shaking. They won't stand back up, thank you in the event you neutralized a threat to their lives or well, do anything. They kind of just stay there, scared, forever.

    Police officers spawn out of thin air in the event players commit any crimes, yet quickly stop their pursuit as soon as you cut a corner. No one, whether it's a beat cop or a big group of gangmembers will chase after you if you hop in a car and flee from any fight. Pacifica, a neighborhood in Night City that is so unsafe law enforcement doesn't even go there, felt like a huge let down for me when I had my first mission there, with my shotgun and sword equipped, only to realize that it didn't offer any trouble on its “dangerous” streets that I wasn't looking to find. No one robbed me. No one gunned me down. No one really noticed me at all, unless I wanted them to.

    The underdeveloped sense of interactivity with the huge open world really makes Cyberpunk 2077 feel quite dated. I mean, there were things I'd done in Gran Theft Auto: Vice City that I couldn't do in Cyberpunk 2077.

    The game, therefore, fails to be "the future of open world games" some billed it as. However, I do find it innovative, just in a way I didn't expect. It's excellent dialogue is so realistic, not just in the way it is written, but how interactive it is. NPCs do not drop everything they're doing just to talk to you, nor do they need to be at point blank range to have a conversation with you. You are free to move or look around mid-conversation and so are they. Dialogue, which is a major component of Cyberpunk's gameplay, doesn't feel like a video game. It doesn't sound like one either. It's natural, an achievement I hope more games strive for going forward.

    There is more good I could mention about Cyberpunk 2077 (the engaging story, great combat, character depth). There is more bad I could mention about Cyberpunk 2077 (the wonky driving, cumbersome crafting system, underwhelming customization). I'm not sure which would outweigh the other. However, I do think that if a beautiful, buggy role-playing game made me feel like I was actually playing the role of a badass mercenary and constantly entertained me for two weeks, I think it did something right, something incredible.    … Expand

    Delusione totale. Mai visto un gioco così brutto all'uscita! Grafica a livello ps2. 5 persone che camminano per strada e sono pure fatte malissimo e si caricano dopo 5/7 secondi. Crash continui. Blocchi continui. Scandalosi! 10 euro sarebbero troppi

    In its current state it is unplayable piece of garbage. Everything is blurry, low FPS, AI are very dumb and they don't react to you. Quality of people models are so poor that it looks like it's 2005. I feel like its a PS3 game not PS4. I don't undersnand why CDPR even decided to release it on past gen consoles if it doesn't run properly. Dropped the game after 1 hour.

    This game is unplayable and should not have been released in such state. Huge frame drops here and there, empty city, crashes, bugs forcing you to load save and minor glitches everywhere. There is no immersion.

    it's really sad to see.

    That being said the game itself is amazing, the atmosphere and characters in cyberpunk 2077 are impressively well crafted, but it is impossible too appreciate anything in this game due to it's technical failure

So yeah, it crashed about 10 times before the hotfix, graphics go blurry sometimes, so what? Is this the only thing that matters? Yes, they should have waited till 2021 to release it, but I still don't think the developers deserve such level of shaming they get now.     This game is super fun, especially if you like the cyberpunk theme/setting. Although there are noticable bugs, like not being able to pick up certain items or flying vehicles, none of them are game breaking. If you really want/need the item you cant pick up, all you have to do is restart at the last checkpoint and it should be fine. Sure that takes some time away from they gameplay but areThis game is super fun, especially if you like the cyberpunk theme/setting. Although there are noticable bugs, like not being able to pick up certain items or flying vehicles, none of them are game breaking. If you really want/need the item you cant pick up, all you have to do is restart at the last checkpoint and it should be fine. Sure that takes some time away from they gameplay but are you really that pressed for time lol. Graphics are a little bugged and it doesnt render well sometimes but all in all I'd recommend it to anyone who loves RPG games. It is a simpler Fallout and Elder Scrolls.… Expand

    Очень похвальна реакция CDPR в данной ситуации с консолями. Не припомню чтобы разработчики других игр извинялись перед игроками. Надеюсь у команды CDPR все удастся и мы получим шикарную игру как технически так и сюжетно.

    I had no problems with the game on my PS4 Slim. No bugs that spoiled the story or something. I'm playing after patch 1.04, and my experience has been very satisfying.

    Não tive problemas com o jogo no meu PS4 Slim. Nenhum bug que estragasse a história ou algo parecido. Estou jogando depois do patch 1.04, e minha experiência está sendo bem satisfatória.

I think most everyone that has played this game agrees that this is one of the most fantastic settings ever put in a video game. Now we come to characters and depth. When I first met Jackie, I wasn’t sure about him...didn’t like him or trust him. Then you get to know him. Before long, he feels like a new friend, then a good friend, then a great friend. The same can be said about the first ripperdoc you come to as well. Point is, the story telling from the Witcher III is back and these characters are absolutely fantastic. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself getting attached and wanting to learn more about everyone as you go. Then there are attributes, cyber ware, gear, etc. I’ve seen so many people say this doesn’t matter then bash quickhacking...or bash the combat and driving. Sure, there is a learning curve....but where you put your points matter. As your skills level up, you feel it in the game. As you get better loot, you feel it in the game. When you upgrade your cyberdeck to have significantly more ram and better quickhacks, Intelligence becomes extremely powerful. What you choose to build matters and how you choose to play matters....for your game, for your character, and for your story. The choices you make and the side quests you do open up alternate endings even. It’s everything I could ask for in an action RPG. My advice to anyone on the fence is this....if you’ve been wanting this game, get it. Sure, there are glitches and bugs in the game. No, they are not nearly as bad as they are made out to be. You obviously aren’t going to get an Nvidia 3080 experience on a base PS4, but if you are looking for an incredibly fun, beautiful, well told story with characters you’re going to fall in love with while having a blast progressing through a large open world, buy the game. Stop listening to outrage. Have some fortitude and turn a blind eye to the outrage culture. Try it out and judge for yourself. I’m guessing you’ll love the game like so many others of us out here do. No distinction between movement controls and ADS controls, either aiming is crap or movement - so why is this an FPS game? Why not make it a TP like Witcher 3? HUD is a cluttered mess without any explanations. This is messed up, man. This is my lastPS3 quality graphics... well, scratch that, even PS3 had better visuals. What is this? Like 480p on PS4 PRO? Controls are a laughingstock. No distinction between movement controls and ADS controls, either aiming is crap or movement - so why is this an FPS game? Why not make it a TP like Witcher 3?     My experience with this game on PS4 Pro has been nothing short of amazing. The level of immersion is like nothing else I've experienced in a game, and overall graphics and visuals are stunning. The amount of custom animations and detail in the many characters you meet is stunning. Yes currently there are many small annoying bugs, and the performance of the game isn't great on PS4, but IMy experience with this game on PS4 Pro has been nothing short of amazing.     Quality wise it is like a Bethesda game after it gets patched.It will get better. im 12 hours in and i mostly encountered graphical issues

I can't wait for the true Next Gen Version in 2021. I can understand the base PS4 complains but this game is extremely hardware intensive and the ps4 is 2013 hardware.     Story and characters are goosebumps good! The game is really a breath of fresh air now that we only see multiplayer and copy-pasted games on the market. The team of CD Projekt Red did an amazing job at creating an absolutely fantastic singleplayer game. And yes, it has some technical issues but i have not encountered anything major or gamebreaking (on PS4 Pro).

    So 17 BSoD's , 3 corrupt saves, and a room smelling slightly of melting plastic my 3 word review. "Its Pretty Good"

    Long review: Make no mistake I slogged through the absolute worst of it.. Here is the reality. This is a Mass Effect 3 situation. People already mad at the delays were basically looking to lynch CDPR regardless of what got released. So its the cult of public opinion out for blood. That does NOT represent the actual product CDPR put out.

    The game itself is good. A blend of GTA style open world with an actual hint of freedom and a dash of Bioware styled character driven narrative focus. Its not without flaws though

    Graphics: Ultimately this is as pretty of a PS4 game as you will find. Its graphics may not be as advanced as a GTA V/RDR2 where you can see things like shooting water sees actual shots in the water, Its a design choice so that they can focus on actual plot rather than irrelevant graphical garbage.

    Char model clipping being the notable issue. Models are fine it just takes time for the hardware to catch up. Have patience. Dont believe the SSs.

    Aesthetics: Lets get this out of the way. Cyberpunk is NOT a dystopian view of humanities future. It is a retro futuristic, 1988 view of the future. Makes sense given when Cyberpunk was created. For example Night city is not filled with mag levs or other tech on our immediate horizon. Its basically just a normal GTA style city that has more layers of upward highway development in a few places and coats everything in an oversaturated neon and over lit paint job and grimy over industrialization. All the cars are essentially circa 1988 that have unneeded extra doodads like tubes or extra set of tires that do nothing. Essentially like an 80s movie/show of the future would have imagined what the future would be. So think blade runner-ish but with more lights/neon colors and dank corridors.

    Gameplay: Essentially another Janitor Simulator game like Deus Ex or Bethesda games. You are basically a futuristic janitor dropped a huge sandbox of useless garbage to pick up and sort. It is a WELL worn gameplay mechanic that honestly needs to die with PS4 gen of gaming. That said its robust while not being too much. You will be stuck with as much inventory management as say Horizon ZD and way too few ways to alleviate it.

    The combat in the game is mostly strong enough. Not as bad as Bethesda games where its just the same CopyPasta dungeon run. Quests have SOME diversity to them. Just dont expect a lot.

    Music/Sound: One of the strong suits. With some of the songs being exceptional (The Parade track, phenomenal.) Most tracks memorable if a bit repetitive. Again, not futuristic, 80s futuristic.

    V/O cast did solid work and enviro audio is top notch.

    Characters: While very trope-y the game is well cast. Some scenes can be highly emotional. That is surprising when it involves temp chars who are not around for long. There are mostly likable though there is very little that are "original"

    Romances: BIG flaw here. Romance options are garbage. Its a wonder why they included them at all. Yes the game is WAY over focused on genitalia so it needs a reason for all those wasted polys. As with most RPGs with romance options there is a clear emphasis and development put toward homosexual options rather than straight ones. Panam is particularly awful as no one in their right mind would be attracted to that toxic mess of daddy issues. Yet they cut off more desirable chars like Judy to straight options.

    Bugs/glitches: They ARE everywhere but the reality is that the game is NOT as people keep claiming it to be "unplayable". I know it is not because I played thru just fine. Not a spoiled child. I can work around problems when they arise. Saw the worst it could throw and survived just fine. Better than In Fallout 4.

    In summary: Cyberpunk is a good game. Its flawed BUT heres the reality. Yes the game runs rough on PS4 BUT its also cross generational so when you get PS5 it will be waiting. Has advantage of 2020 being a drought year for RPGs.

    The game WILL be brought to a good state and CDPR is doing what they can to fix it. The big problem was not the devs, it was WB forcing release window timetables. So this may be the last CDPR console release due to the over reaction. Maybe it shouldnt been PS4 release but what they did release was good if only for promise of future fixes. 7.75/10    … Expand

    I played it on PC with RTX2080 and had great 60+ hours of play, still need to see two endings and a lot side quest before it.
    People expected GTA or somthing but i did not and just enjoy the game. Yes there bugs, and i just restart the game 1-2 times durring a play.

    And the graphics? Certainly do not match the several showcases,, not even on a High End PC build.. Complete false advertisement! The resolution is horrible, sub full HD in the era of 2160P. To say that I look forward to the free PS5 "upgrade" would be a lie. It is obviously at least 6 months away with the current state of the PS4 (Pro), Xbox One (X), and even PC, it's unlikely that it will be impressive. It's obvious that just the currently released Cyberpunk 2077 needed another 6 months. Let alone 3 different next gen versions

    Great story, big world, but this game looks like from 2012. Even on PS3 there are much better looking productions. On my PS4Pro Valhalla, RDR2 or even GTAV looks great. So this is developers fail. Don't buy it if you have any version of PS4. Wait for PS5 and next-gen patch for this game.

    Putting the issues aside the story and gameplay are good. The story is engaging and allows for replay ability with the starting background story’s you can choose. Graphically it’s really good but with some issues when driving through the street you can get popping and pedestrians are like a blob till the textures are loaded. We don’t really know what technique they are using for the render side of the game but it seems that the game is trying to load everything around the player instead of Horizon Zero Dawns approach where that only renders what the player sees, once all the issues re solved this will be a game to have.
    The score we given is based on the story, side quests, fighting, shooting and things to do around the city and does not take into account the technical issues that there is. We understand that the developers are releasing a game during a pandemic where they had to work from home and understand the challenges that that brought to them as a team that usually is working in the same studio.    … Expand

    Despite some bugs and glitches, the game looks very awesome. At least on my PS4pro. The first impressions of Night City were literally breathtaking. I don't know any game so far with that kind of characters and side quests. I've spent 63 hours in Night City and I've never been bored any second.

I had tons of bugs already in first 5 minutes, text not going away from screen, etc. Story was generic and boring, characters was as basic as possible. Worst part was open world design. GTA 4, 5 and Watch Dogs 1 are all miles ahead of this game. Instead I want to look at it six months later to see if they've redeemed themselves. Unfortunately, they have not. Cyberpunk 2077 has gone from an unplayable mess to a barely-playable mess.

    The graphics are where it can be very noticeable. Sometimes buildings, cars and people look amazing and smooth, however most of the time I'm seeing pop-in and draw distance issues even when I'm trying not to notice them. Far too many times have I seen characters flail around like a ragdoll due to glitches. Far too many times I go to draw my gun but the graphics for it do not load, resulting in my character looking like a deadly street mime. There were even times where I would run into an area ready for a fight only for the enemies not to have loaded properly yet, meaning when they do I am stood right in the middle and die within seconds. These things happen far too often to overlook.

    The gameplay is still an incomplete mess. Buttons do not respond when I'm trying to answer my phone or get into vehicles. At one point I couldn't activate an elevator because an NPC engaged me in conversation en-route, but I was given no indication of this. The upgrade system and menu layouts in general are very messy and far from user-friendly. There are a nice range of guns but I found myself constantly running out of ammo as enemies absorbed my bullets like raindrops. The driving is maddeningly stiff and unresponsive. Lots of smaller game design choices are bewildering, such as forcing action to pause when I want to change channels on the radio. It's very easy to get trapped into dialogue where there is no 'goodbye' option, forcing me to walk away to end the conversation. These are all things that should really have been picked up well before six months into the launch.

    The story is Cyberpunk's best feature at present, and that's unfortunate because it's unlikely anyone will tolerate the game enough to get that far. I could only make it as far as Keanu Reeves' introduction before deciding to quite the game and leave it on my shelf until it's more playable. It's not the most coherent of stories in the opening hours, so I'm assuming it ties together better as you play through it.

    In summary, Cyberpunk 2077 had a disastrous launch and still remains on the backfoot six months later. Even on my PS4 Pro it was massively struggling. The fan sounded insane as it struggled to run the game. This is not due to poor technology - this is poor game design. The game plays more like a beta version or an early demo. I waited six months to give them a chance to patch the game but it looks like at least another six months will be needed before it can be an enjoyable experience. Avoid.    … Expand

    Es un juego que me recomendaron y me decepcionó, está peor que el FF7, una historia cliché y algunos estereotipos muy patéticos(no entraré en detalle).

    Supongo que por eso tienen más éxito este tipo de juegos en España, pero no aquí en Latinoamérica.
    Al menos a mí no me gustó, de hecho ni lo completé después de las 4 horas.

    The patch 1.05 didn't help. There are a lot of bugs. Now I have to wait for February to play the game. Then why did they lie about the release in November.

    I am unpleasantly given such a score, because I love this studio, but this should in no way be encouraged. The PS4 version is simply unplayable and terrible. I really hope that a separate version for PS5 will give me the full enjoyment of this game, but for now I can only put zero.

    Where to even start with this? I played on a PS4 PRO and the stories are true, this is not a game for "current" gen. Yes, current Gen, not last gen. We are not in the next gen as of yet, because I would say 80% of people still own a PS4/XBOX ONE X and not the future or next gen consoles yet. This game has been in development during the current generation of consoles, therefor should haveWhere to even start with this?     The game should be a 10 but its unfortunate the game released like this. It works fine on the ps4 pro but just playable. Frame rate is fine except when you are in gun fights which for is one the best parts of the game and then their are the many glitches and bugs.     The fact that is unplayable on PS4 and the PS5 upgrade is unavailable is sad. That means you'd only enjoy this on a high end PC

    Not playable on PS5, what a shame CD Project!!! Where is PS5 upgrade which was promised a month ago, after you delayed the game, you said “We are lunching on every platform on December 10 and we need time to polish the game” but you didn’t lunch on PS5/XboxSX. $60 wasted, I feel physical pain while playing it on my PS5 an 4K TV, your game is working on 1080p in 2020. 0 out of 10

    Game is almost impossible to enjoy on PS4, graphics looks horrible. FPS goes down in dynamic scenes and shooting scenes are bad. As a fan od CDR Im disappointed and probably I will Wait for opportunity to buy PS5 or some fixes from Studio.

    " players will be able to focus on body shape " etc etc. Well I was already disappointed in an obvious lie about being able to deeply customize body shape. You cannot alter buttocks, any dimensions, no height , just one body type. You also cannot alter your appearance after character creation??!! WTF? It's a futuristic game that's all about augmentation and customization but you can't get a haircut for some reason? Ok So anger is rising...I'm not in a red zone just yet.

    I notice my curser keeps dropping to the bottom of the screen. I tried all three of my controllers and realize it's the game that's sinking my crosshairs. This already is game breaking for me because It's infuriating keeping that little bastard afloat. When you have your first enemy encounter....oh god that's when that sinking feelings comes in. The targeting and combat is just as ugly as the graphics . I had such a hard time aiming ( curser keeps auto dropping ) I just had to run up at point blank and spray an ocean of bullets into some dark blurry d statues . That's when i turn it off...It's unplayable.

    I've never played a game so disorienting and ugly...It honestly makes your head hurt. This is the first time I've ever left a review and I'm sure you've already read similar post to mine. The worst thing about this is you cannot get a refund even though It's an unplayable game. The curser problem for me alone turns this mess into a lemon for me. I cannot count how many times I've purchased a turd in a dress but this one tops them all! I thought fallout 4 was a great disappointment with dated graphics. but after this dumpster fire that game is looking so much better.

    So what's next before this **** year ends....hmmmm.... maybe a piano will fall on your head on new years.    … Expand

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
