    I have spent about 15 hours in the game on a PS4 Pro and here is what i experienced.

    Performance/technical side ... is somewhat decent, framerate drops are rare since the 1.04 update, pop-ups as well, reflections and textures have been fixed. i would say the current state of visuals/performance is quite good. Only thing that still annoys me is the muddy, blurred overall look. On the    I have spent about 15 hours in the game on a PS4 Pro and here is what i experienced.

Only thing that still annoys me is the muddy, blurred overall look. On the other hand the game has lots of anyway dark/night passages, so i can get along with that well. Watch the comparison video here on meta and you will see what i mean. Loading times are a bit nerve wracking. All in all the technical-side doesn't cause much pain. That is on PS4 Pro, users of the base-model might have a different experience, to say the least. As for me i have not had any crashes or major glitches. 7/10

    Story & Characters

    ... are both well developed and written. Atmosphere is great, speaker-cast a blast. Even Side-Missions are very detailed and resourceful. A really authentic cyberpunk vibe fuels a feeling of being sucked in into a unique world you want to explore. 9/10

    Gameplay

    ... Menus and Item-management are well designed, character development is intuitive, meaningful and complex in a good way. Especially the cyberware-features are really unique. Steering seems a bit flawed at times. My cursors seems to be moving constantly. Not nice. Gun play and combat on the other hand fell really great and satisfying. 8/10

    My overall rating = 8/10
    I think that does the PS4(Pro)-Version justice.

    Great game with huge focus on story, characters and world building. I dont remember last time when the rpg story absorbed me so much. Yes there are few bugs here are there (playing on ps4pro), but nothing gamebreaking. Usually minor visual glitches. If you like story RPGs this is simply game for you. If the small bugs bother you too much, then this will be a game for you after few updates.Great game with huge focus on story, characters and world building.     The best game ever, after hot fix 1.6!!! I am playing on Ps4 and this is amazing, zero lags, epic story and a lot of fun. Graphic is totally awsome. You have try this masterpiece.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have over 150 hours into this game - I am loving it!!!! I am sickened by the publics treatment of CDPR, I play on a ps4 Pro and it isn't nearly as bad as all the whiney babies make it seem, buy it and enjoy it like me!! end of story - do not however listen to anyone who is complaining about it not running on 7+ year old consoles lol... Anyone with even a lick of intelligence and good taste can see that CDPR poured their hearts into this game., the effort SHOULD grant them many brownie points from anyone with a heart and good taste.. There were a few things promised that I hope they either add later(in a dlc or expansion, etc), or at least have good reasons for not including - like the DRONE you use during the heist, that little bugger was SUPPOSED to be available throughout the game. Which would have enabled V to be a "Rigger" character class type (a character class from the Shadowrun game universe, they control Drones with a Cyberware implant in their brains) it would have been awesome to have a bot that could go through vents and stuff and even take out a few enemies.. but alas its not included and I am not a cry baby, it is what it is, I didn't get drones but I got a sick game that I waited for, for many years and here it is! It was the best Christmas gift I got this year (from myself lol)

    However it may not play on base consoles very well (which is the risk YOU CHOOSE TO TAKE by not upgrading ancient systems lol)...    … Expand

    I loved it. This game is just incredible, unfortunatly it has a few bugs that might be fixed in the next patch, and it has some graphic problems too. But I believe that it'll be all good good next month. I wish that all people had the same experience just like me.

    You see what you guys did now??? Now no one can buy this game for their PS4 anymore, it's GONE. I am very disappointed in all of you. Sure, crappy graphic happen few time, get better TV then? You ever think of that!? You're using a crappy outdated CRT TV with 240p. Why you using that TV huh for 8K game, HUH!? Such bullcrap

    I, like many a Playstation customer, was unable to get the PS5 so I played this on my PS4 Pro and was able to beat the main story in a 20 hour playthrough, to get an early ending(there are many endings to get so might as well do the quickest first) and I throughly enjoyed my time with the game, despite some awful bugs that keep this from being a 10. The game never crashed for me in combatI, like many a Playstation customer, was unable to get the PS5 so I played this on my PS4 Pro and was able to beat the main story in a 20 hour playthrough, to get an early ending(there are many endings to get so might as well do the quickest first) and I throughly enjoyed my time with the game, despite some awful bugs that keep this from being a 10. The game never crashed for me in combat but it did crash 6 times in my first 9 hours. Everytime was weird but it seemed to make a quick save as it crashed and it never happened during the most fun parts of the game, which is the combat. I used a katana a lot and quick hacks and all the guns; not much of the cyber wire or mantis blades or what not, but it was a good time. I had some absurd issues with guns behaving like they had no ammo, when they did, but those bugs seemed tied to certain game areas or missions and never returned, so I assume they will get patched in the years to come. Until then, this is a legit fun game... I'm not going to pick Hades or Last of Us Part 2 over playing another 20 hours; I plan to go for all the endings with this game and will probably play 100 hours by the time I quit.     Played 40 hours, and I most say i really love this game. After a slow start, the game really shines. Ineresting characters and fascinating side quests are some of the key highlights in this game.

    PS4 PRO patch 1.6. This is the best I've played since the last of us part 1. Very interesting side quests. some are even more interesting than the main company. Unambiguously buy and pass on PS4 pro

    Игра мне очень понравилась, хоть у нее не маленький провал в оптимизации, но сюжет, побочные квесты, графика, саундтрек, кастомизация персонажа, взлом чело-либо мне очень понравились, кол-во модификаций персонажа очень впечатляет, боевка просто крышесносная, не было момента чтобы мне было скучно, вообще не жалко денег которые я на нее потратил.     I made a pre-order on PS4. Yes, during the first days there was terrible soap and crashes sometimes 4-5 times in a row. But after the patch release, there are almost no crashes, FPS drawdowns are not felt and the graphics have become much more pleasant. The game is amazing, the atmosphere is unforgettable, the city, characters, first person driving (what chic interiors in cars, I want toI made a pre-order on PS4.     An inspired game that will capture you with its fascinating story and awesome characters.
    It has some technical flaws but only because of the pandemic's development problems.
    CD Project Red delivers patches to resolve those problems, so don't worry.
    This game is a MUST HAVE.

    Actually all games of ps3 era run exactly the same as this.lol. I am grateful that they did not cancel this version, despite the outdated hardware of console. since my PC is equipped with gtx 760, it is obvious that the game will not work correctly with this setup.

    awesome game huge world to explore great graphic awesome world built great music choices best game i highly recommend it a must play don't let the bad reviews of cyberpunk steer you off make up your own mind for those have never owned a cd project red game.

    Technical difficulties aside. Cyberpunk 2077 is very enjoyable game. Every Bladerunner, Ghost In The Shell fan will be at home there.
    You spend almost entire game trying to get rid of Johnny, but in the end it's the hardest thing to do.

    My gripe is with the following:

    The car mechanics are terrible, the car damage is terrible, NPC seem to be zombies unless belonging to a gang or ncpd and the crashes...jesus christ on a bike. I think the game has crashed and gave me the blue screen at least 10 times.

    The stortline(s) are fantasyic, the story telling is what we are used to with CDPR, cant fault that, music and sound is incredible and the environment is stunning!

    Overall I am not dissappinted with the game AS A GAME, but slightly underwhelmed with the issues plaguing the technical side of the game.

    If you are playing on a PS4 pro I would recommend the game, it is great, however be expecting some bugs which can be slightly annoying, and crashes which will piss you off.

    If you have a base ps4, I havent played it on a base ps4 but I can imagine its not worth bothering with until you upgrade to a pro or ps5, or have a gaming PC.

    If you have a gaming PC just get it on there!

    Mostly, dont listen to the hate, it is a great game. Its definitely not a 3/10. Unless you have a base Ps4.    … Expand

    Played on the PS4 Pro right on release. There were some noticeable bugs, but nothing that detracted from my enjoyment of the game. Quickly became one of my all time favorites, but I’d recommend waiting a month or two for some more major patches to come through. I have faith this game will be cleaned up and get the renown it deserves.

    I play on PS5 and yes it could be better in terms of graphics, bugs and stability BUT it’s one the best game I’ve ever played! I’m 40 yo and a game for 30 years. I love this game... probs to CDPR! I hope for a ton of DLC to be released.

    Just finished the game on PS4 Pro and I love it! Great story in my favourite setting. Had a lot of fun and definitely going to go through it a few more times!

    This game is changing directions of how games will be developed in the future. Aby 10? It is massive, it has a unique screenplay and combats are addictive. With a new hotfixes it can be played with PS4 (even not Pro). I will it one more time with PS5.

    I love the atmosphere, and am really enjoying the way things are playing out. Combat is solid, transitioning between physical based attacks (with weapons) and hacking attacks keeps you on your toes and thinking about how best to approach battles.

    The story thus far has also been really cool, I have just finished Act 1. I have seen the odd glitch here and there, but no more so than anything I've ever played from Bethesda and considering the scale of the game, pretty insignificant in actuality.

    Granted I'm not the whole way through yet, so I may yet come across something of significance, and again, although the game launched with issues, I'm really grateful to CDPR for continuing to work on it to make it the experience it is today.    … Expand

    Night City might "just" be a Backdrop, but one where great Storys are told. Runs pretty great on my PS5 despite some crashes, but the open world is just wasted potential and dated.

I want to make an exemption for this game because this gsme is like gran theft auto - you could run upto 150hrs and you still dont intend to complete it, plus i want to save this game from all the criticisms. Это первая игра, которая за 25 лет гейминга смогла визуализировать то что представлялось в голове еще тогда в конце 90х когда мы играли в fallout 2, syndicate, diablo 2, в тех игахДорогие друзья! Я прохожу игру на PS5. Киберпанк, первый проект который по настоящему напоминает некст-ген! Разрабы творят чудеса, им огромный респект, что смогли создать этот неповторимый кибернетический мир! Это первая игра, которая за 25 лет гейминга смогла визуализировать то что представлялось в голове еще тогда в конце 90х когда мы играли в fallout 2, syndicate, diablo 2, в тех игах мы додумывали миры, представляли как бы они выглядели полностью попав в них… CD Project Red показали мне это, и они первые! Беспрецедентное погружение в игровой мир, я его чувствую, не хочу чтоб это ощущение заканчивалось, стараюсь проходить очень медленно, на максимальной сложности, заглядываю за каждый угол. Мне нравится, как передана скорость времени, к примеру когда ты едешь на машине на заднем сидении и смотришь в окно, смотришь с как правильно передано ощущение что ты сидишь в машине, как мир за окном ощущается, в нем что то происходит, он живет, а не как это происходит в казуальной пластиковой GTA, где все оказуалено. В Cyberpunk 2077 плавно и с душой прописан сценарий, он не сокращен, он не обрывист, он детален! Картинка на экране просто не отпускает тебя, сколько всевозможных скиллов прокачки, нейромодулей одежды и т.п., ты чувствуешь себя там, ты персонализирован, такого как ты больше нет. Это одна из не многих игр где кнопочки взаимодействия никак не подсвечены какими то указателями и не ведут тебя за ручку как дурачка, здесь все по взрослому, а не как в большинстве современных играх считающих тебя тупым. Или как разработчики гонящиеся за трендом все упростить… Здесь не боятся ругаться матом, все по честному! Большинство разработчиков в угоду прибыли понижают возрастной рейтинг для охвата большей аудитории и зарубают мат в сценах, в которых без него просто происходит идиотизм и ломается реализм и погружение. CD Project Red, провели огромную работу, по масштабам не сопоставимым не одному проекту на данный момент, конечно будут технические проблемы на старте, вы посмотрите на масштаб происходящего, черт возьми! Поймите вы это! Пройдет время и все починят! Уверен, у этой игры отличное будущее с кучей дополнений! Люблю CD Project Red, не теряйте индивидуальность, и не идите на поводу ни у кого!… Expand

Thankfully, the game has options to be played stealthy which was cool and it kept the framerate much more along the 30 unlike any gun fights with some even leaning below 25. The game is most beautiful even on ps4 and It seems I was very fortunate to not encounter any bugs besides texture popping (was only in the first hour) and crashes which were not severe. The whole soundtrack is a roller coaster and additional radio is much more than addition.     I didn't have any problems with this game. When it came out there were some minor visual glitches, but they were fixed with the next update. Game runs smoothly on my system and looks great.
    The storry is compelling, the world fun to explore with interesting side missions. Driving is fun in this game!
    I think many people were utterly overhyped, so disappointment was inevitable for them.

    Driving is almost ok, though moving in a vehicle with a first person camera is close to impossible (which is sad, since it would add a lot to the immersion). Driving fast just doesn`t work anywhere outside the straight areas of the road. Shame. The world is very beautiful, though it doesn`t really encourage you to roam around it. It mostly serves as a stylish decoration, a path for you to get from one mission to another, which to me, is not quite what I anticipate from on open world RPG. The combat of the game is all in all decent. I loved some of the weapons, they felt pretty different, and killing enemies is fun in this game. I enjoyed both open combat as well as stealth aspects. Not to say that there aren`t any major flaws there (like enemies being damage sponges, NPC`s survivng headshots, non existent enemy AI, etc), but I don`t have much of the negative stuff to say about it. I genuinely enjoyed the action here. However, all of that stuff is a minor element in comparison to what that make this a 10/10 for me. This game provides you with what CDPR does best (and pretty much - the only thing it does very well at this point of the company`s history) - amazing atmosphere and narrative. They`ve managed to create interesting characters whom I cared about. The plot, the dialogues, the emotional value of the scenes, the intrigue: Cyberpunk 2077 has got all of that. I couldn`t stop playing it because after every completed storyline I wanted more. All the main quests, the lines of Panam, Judy, River, etc, I had so much fun getting to know those people. Also, the game is pretty much made for musicians as the target audience, because the faithfulness of CDPR towards the whole "being a musician" thing is astonishing and you can`t really apprecieate that enough if you are not a musician yourself (which I am, btw). So this part of the game was extremely relatable for me. it `s not a rational critique, becuase it is obviously a flawed product, and the whole situation is a complete mess. But I felt so good when I was playing. I had such a great time that I just can`t stress upon the negative sides of it even though I aknowledge them. Cyberpunk 2077 is overhyped and overadvertised. CDPR took too much upon themselves by making promises they could not keep and simply lied to their fans in multiple aspects.
    The company made people wait for the game that is simply impossible to create even with 10 years of development. But similarly to The Witcher 3, CDPR managed to make a game with soul. It has unique atmosphere, great visual style, amazing characters, interesting plot, well-crafted narrative, GREAT music (both on the radio, and in-game soundtracks), nice dialogues, and all in all - a very cool, emotional adventure. I really hope it gets patched properly so that more people could experience this spectacular adventure and form their opinion by themselves and not through other people`s perspectives.     Playing the Game since Patch 1.2 hast been released. Almost half way through and its a great experience story-wise so far. Its absolutely playable and I recommend it to everyone who loves Open world Action and Role playing Games.

One of the first scenes takes place in a bar, as a bartender of over a decade I know what a bar feels and looks like. CD projekt included so much grit, style, and swagger in the patrons, art, and body modification. I loved all the Deus Ex games, but never once did I ever think, hey that really looks like a place in real life. People mention glitches and bugs, but if you enjoy games like fallout, outer worlds/ elderscrolls and have ever enjoyed EVEN one science fiction movie/book this game is for you. I have never once completed 100% of the quests in a game, Cyberpunk is the first exception to that rule for me. Maybe the magic didnt work for people whose interests arnt as closely aligned as mine. However if you see any of yourself in me, I cannot recomend getting this game any more highly.… Expand

    Cyberpunk is a good game and its enjoyable with lots of stuff to do but in the trailer it does look better and more enjoyable and when you jump into the game it does not look as good as it did in the trailer but it is still a good game and i like how you could customize everything on your character.

    Despite the initial technical issues, the game is amazing. Extremly immersive and memorable experience, a lot of nice details in the world, but the best thing are pobably the characters.

Very interesting and sad story about a man(or girl) who just loves to live, and tries to survive in the city with a lot of horrible things. I think that this game is more than just a story and a few side-quests, that's a world that changes with your choices. Soon I will end the story of V, and I know that he's( or she) dies in the end. That's sad, but I feel this game like real life. All persons in the game are different. After 60 hours of gameplay, I don't end even 50% of side quests.     After patch 1.11 on PS5 its worth to come back because 1.05 or 1.06 didnt fix the game at all. I had bugs of getting stuck in rooms and I had bugs that I couldn't continue the story line. I dropped the game and played it on Stadia instead. It runs great but after a two or three hours theres this frame rate judder that even on Stadia has it and it can crash your game. Even with 1.11 I had aAfter patch 1.11 on PS5 its worth to come back because 1.05 or 1.06 didnt fix the game at all.     All major bugs and glitches have been fixed in this greatest game of all time. I've played this on PS4 and XboxOne, had a few bugs but which game is missing? Regardless, I absolutely love this game. Cyberpunk is a beautiful and gigantic world with so much to do ... I recommend it

    With Night City offering you a great deal of weapons to get, clothes to wear, cars to drive and other stuff to help you on. It has much to offer before you get bored of it.

    There is a lot of functions to set your mind into. But you will gradually learn all the tech you need to work out come along as you play. It can for sure be overwhelming to swallow it all, but just stick it out as you go is my advice. Some are very useful, and some are not even necessary to bother with to even complete the game. You will find your way and tactics that suits you best.

    As you start out bare handed and begin to network with people, you meet a city with many different inhabitants with different personalities that is helping you with a hand to manage in the city. Cast is stellar with a really A-grade voice acting. Most prominent is Keanu Reeves who plays Johnny Silverhand that works as your in-brain sidekick, nuisance or whatever.

    Sadly this game holds the title of the most problematic launch in the history of gaming. It really needed at least 6 months to a year more on the production board before it could see the light of day, But CDPR really needs to learn to hold their card to their chest longer, as if The Witcher 3 did not give them proper education in releasing games prematurely, they certainly did not learn this time around either. However, If you choose to just forget all the errors that comes with it (dependable what gen.system you play on), you have a killer game to dive into.

    Lets just hope for CDPR to get their heads together and iron out what they can. I for one would play this more than one time trough because i never finished my time in the half discovered city before the credits rolled.    … Expand

    Also I'm setting 10 because I want to have more single player releases in future. Otherwise we'll have that online **** like fortnite or genshin impact.

    One more thing about Cyberpunk - sometimes it reminds me first parts of Fallout - Fallout 1 and Fallout 2. Guests, game stories are well written and they make you believe in them.    … Expand

The story ends off well and gameplay is something to be desired while also feeding that nicotine addiction called gaming. If one looks past the bugs and choppy areas, Cyberpunk is definitely the game for you.

I had my problems with Skyrim, Fallout 3 - 4, and even witcher 3 at launch, but in comparison to this game I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Hasn't even launched my PS4 like a jet yet.

    I give the game a 10/10 not because it's perfect because it's not. But because the amount of enjoyment I had in this world, and the amount of value for $70 i got. as it sits right now' it's probably actually a 8.5, but I know a month from now its going to run like a 10/10 game that it is. Cyberpunk 2077 gets full marks in my opinion, don't fall for the hype, keep expectations realistic. Life will be more enjoyable if you do..    … Expand

    Great game, breathtaking and as addictive as no game before. I recommend. Ok ok, it has some mistakes, but it costs $ 50, so it's not a lot of money, unless you're a tramp or an American fat man and all the money is spent on burgers, I'm from a poor country, I work hard and honestly and I can afford to spend such money.     No real issue at all on ps4 pro except a few crashes now and then. The let down people are probably on a normal 7 year old ps4. Anything over, pro and ps5, handles the game fine. More than fine after the patches. Adore the game, the storytelling, the art, the setting, the combined gameplays in one package.     Epic game. After patch 1.05 game is stable. Recomend to all RPG fans! Waiting for DLC or multiplayer.

While playing the game on PC I've had such a fun experience so far and absolutely love the game. Although there are a few bugs/glitches that I've encountered while playing... Nothing "game-breaking" has happened to me which means I've been able to truly immerse myself into this crazy futuristic world full of surprises. I think the voice acting is extremely well done and I found the story/writing to be very interesting. The shooting mechanics can feel a bit clunky at times and the graphics are amazing (depends on your system of course). The pedestrian AI is meh but the world they have built is just so incredibly dense with things always happening ensuring you are always having fun and discovering new things.… Expand

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
