    The problem here being that, this game is not for previous gen hardware. The games does play awful on a ps4 , xbox one and old pcs. BUT, if you have a ps5 or xbox one x, or high end PC. Then the game plays absolutely as it should. The game itself is one of the best games ever made. Ya'll need to stop review    You people need to stop writing bad reviews out of anger lol.

    After a long wait, that got even longer and longer, I am happy to finally be able to dive into the immersive world of Night City. Love to play it.
    Nobody takes games as serious as CDPR. What a gift to world culture. Now after 50 hours game time on an very old PS4 and after the patch 1.04 I have had no game crashs or bad bugs for the last 20 hours.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is a first person open world sandbox shooter where you play as your own created v, if youre buying cyberpunk for its story, youll be pretty let down as you can mainline this game in less than 16 hours and the story of trying to get your body back instead of sharing it with the legendary Johnny Silverhand is just a pretty okay one, but the sme could be said about the witcher 3s main campaign, but much like the witcher 3, the magic in cybperunk 2077 is all of its elements coming together, its not just about the main story here, its choices, building relationships outside of the story… there is so much greatness here if you care to look for it and to build it, but there are some hurdles that will make that immersion tough for some players… Cyberpunk is basically the division meets watch dogs, like watch dogs you can stealth around, hack items to get through areas, but I personally found the gunplayberpunk is basically the division meets watch dogs, like watch dogs you can stealth around, hack items to get through areas, but I personally found the gunplay to be so fun here, and the joy of potentially getting a new really good weapon more fun tha nstealthing around, so I focused on a pure gunplay playthrough, if im told to be stealthy in a mission, I immediately pull out my gun aand go forward.. especially since the potential for large division like gunplay sequences are so spread out, especially by this games lengthy dialog, that I feel youre doing this games gunplay a disservice by leaving it on the back burner.. there are plenty forced hacky stuff to do here when the game comes to a crawl forcing you to find clues in a brain dance, or scan objects before youre supposed to “stealthfully” infutlrate an area.. the hacking in watch dogs if fun to me, it isn’t fun here, so I really ignored hacking as much as I could…
    The elephant in the room… the rush job that is cyberpunk 2077, its clear this game should’ve been delayed to this year 2021, theres still at least one more giant patch coming next month, but even with the latest massive patch, cyberpunk 2077 is still littered with bugs on the ps5, 7 crashes throughout my playthrough, I really don’t need to explain why game crashes are unacceptable, but theyre especially unnacceptab;e in a game with such an awful checkpoint and saving system, the game refuses to save afer you’ve enetered combat until the mission is basically over, so dying halfway through a gun battle, pulls you all the way back, a lot of the times pre mission start, not even before you engaged in combat, forcing constant manual saves, just because you know how awful the saving is and if you die again you don’t want to reskip through the minutes of dialog you already heard, and worse is you lose any cool weapons you pick up, which obviously sucks in a division like game where random loot is being dropped by enemies… but I also ran into a glitch where my health would be displayed, where a call wouldn’t come through that lead to a dead end stopping me from continuing the final mission and reloading an older save and redoing basically just 10 minutes of unskippable dialog, bugs where subtitles would be stuck on my screen long after the conversation was over, and the thing is… I had subtitles turned off… also the controls for the brain dance were stuck on my screen from an unknown mission all the way until I rolled credits, it wouldn’t go away even after game crashes and fresh loads into the game…
    Cyberpunk 2077 is a mess, but a mess that once is cleaned up, is a really great game filled with over 100 hours of story, though this really is a game for those more into story and not those looking for a futuristic GTA, the world itself isn’t much fun to explore, you cant keep the cars you steal and the weapons are pretty basic. But the world is cool to exist in, even if youre not into all of the hacking and its only 20 hours like me.
    I give Cyberpunk 2077 an 8.5/10    … Expand

    I played the game on ps5 through the ps4 port and I really enjoyed the game despite all the bugs and crashes that happened. The gameplay is awesome and addicting. The story is great and very fast paced. There's so many alternate choices that are very interesting.

    I’ve gamed in CP2077 on PS5 about 20hrs. even though I'm impressed with the game it is still full of bugs and crashes. nevertheless, I can say for sure if you have ps5 to play, I advise

    bought the game without the hype of the majority and I was positively surprised. I think a lot of complaints come from crashes, but I didn't have them and there were no problems with major bugs. However, it is necessary to improve the game's performance on consoles.

    Excellent gameplay and immersive story with captivating characters.

This has been my experience so far I have invested over 10 hours into the game and have done many side quests and currently spacing out the story missions as I always do with massive games I’m currently in act 2.

    These bugs and faults have not destroyed my experience and this game does not deserve to be review bombed I appreciate that if you have a PS4 base version it’s frustrating but all the people who issued death threats to the development team when they delayed it are the same people today screaming they should of waited longer the game is a masterpiece and it will get patched and it will get better. You need to invest into a game and it’s team and have faith that they will pull through and they will give them time people seem to be screaming with anger and demanding they refund everyone but this is just not fair. This game is a masterpiece and I can only speak for myself with my own experience but I have had bugs and I have had crashes. It I’m also not one to dwell on it so it takes 25 seconds to load back j to my game in PS5 and then I’m away in an immersive beautiful world the gun play is solid and the overall mechanics are amazing and unique this is a must buy game if you give it some more time it will be pure perfection. Thankyou CD projeckt Red and all your development team you have made me a game that I truly love and I have so much more to look forward to keep your heads held high and don’t let the other people who abuse this game put you down yoh did good!    … Expand

    The story and characters are phenomenal!! The game doesn’t play smooth on PS4 but hey it’s last gen for a reason. I’m happy it’s doesn’t run well on last gen bc it shows the game has a lot of power and sets an example to not put next gen games on last gen. Honestly they should of just release on new gen.

    Despite the bugs and glitches at launch I still found this game to be amazing. Such a good story, very heavy in lore, great gameplay and gunplay. Love the mantis blades also.

    There were some bugs, but after 1.04 almost all of them disappeared. Graphics became much better.
    I believe in developers and that they will fix the rest of the problems. So... 10 in advance.

    PC version is soo SWEET! I didn't see even 1 game breaking bug , which all this *1* talking about.

    This is awesome world and great story where you can do almost everything you desire.
    But still we need more content in future , such as NG+.

    Having a blast, love every minute of this deep RPG. Of course I'm playing on PS5 so and have none of the issue that the older consoles are reporting, but it runs great on PS5.

    I'm playing on PS4 Pro, and even though, there are some bugs (not over the top, to be honest), I'm finding it extremely fun and immersing. Yes, I'll eventually play it on PS5 but I don want to trade in a kidney wih those scavengers. The scale of world-building and the complexity of the different characters is breathtaking, and the realiy is, the story will be spoilt for most people by theI'm playing on PS4 Pro, and even though, there are some bugs (not over the top, to be honest), I'm finding it extremely fun and immersing. Yes, I'll eventually play it on PS5 but I don want to trade in a kidney wih those scavengers. The scale of world-building and the complexity of the different characters is breathtaking, and the realiy is, the story will be spoilt for most people by the time you can acquire an expensive PC or new console, so you should take these earlier versions as an introduction to an experience that will grow on you. Gameplay is quite complex and every time, you'll find something new and entertaining to discover. Patches will surely come soon and do be discouraged to dive deep into this masterpiece.     Stop underestimating the game for its technical condition. You wanted to die for the developers because of the transfer of the game. Now you got what you wanted, a beta version of the game. The plot is excellent, the filling and the quality of the missions are wonderful. Calm down and wait for the patches and you will have the game you were waiting for.

    Right now I am a few hours on on my base ps4 and so far the game has been nothing but enjoyable to me. Maybe the graphics aren't as great on the base PS4 as they are on the next gens and pcs.     I played this game for 30h+. It has bugs. I love story and cyberpunk world. Just wait 1-2 weeks for hotfix. CDR will fix it.

    Amazing game and story I've had very little issues with bugs and its only crashed once on me it would be a 10 without bugs but I can't give a buggy game a score of 10 but I'm hooked and can't wait for more fixes.

    Купил в первый день выхода игры за 69€. В комплекте шли 2 диска (игровой+установочный), карта города Найт-Сити и его окрестностей, наклейки, книжка и восемь открыток. Скачал в общем около 130 гб (игра+патчи) и начал играть. На данный момент сыграл более 12 часов и могу сказать что игра шикарная... Сюжет интересный, мир живой (можно подслушать диалог почти каждого жителя Найт-Сити), 18+Купил в первый день выхода игры за 69€. В комплекте шли 2 диска (игровой+установочный), карта города Найт-Сити и его окрестностей, наклейки, книжка и восемь открыток. Скачал в общем около 130 гб (игра+патчи) и начал играть. На данный момент сыграл более 12 часов и могу сказать что игра шикарная... Сюжет интересный, мир живой (можно подслушать диалог почти каждого жителя Найт-Сити), 18+ контент тоже на уровне. Играл в 1080p и 30fps на PS4 Slim. Бывали просадки которые я почти не замечал. В той же GTA Online просадок FPS было намного больше. Единственный минус это вылеты игры. За 12 часов - 2 вылета. Не очень приятно, но и не критично. Если баги и были то можно было над ними поржать, а также уже вышло 2 патча которые пофиксили кучу багов. Люди как будто первый раз увидели баги в играх... Не жалею ни копейки потраченной на покупку этой игры. 9/10… Expand

    In general, a good game, if you turn off the depth of field, motion blur and graininess, then it becomes more pleasant to play, after playing 8 hours and going through 20% of the plot, I can say that I liked everything except the first person view, I don't really like games where there is no 3rd person, so I hope to add in the future.

    Играю на PC. есть не значительные баги. игра не шедевр но очень красивая и крутая. ассоциация с gta и fallout. В целом игра мне нравится хоть ожидал и большего

Look at no man's sky and how good they're doing now look at The Witcher 3 at the beginning of the game it was buggy as well.     I know that graphics are uneven but it’s nothing that cannot be fixed, and despite that the game is really amazing. The open world is huge and impressing. If you are grumpy you can wait till some new patch but I just don’t mind and enjoy fully the game.

    Graphics are amazing. Storyline is amazing. Characters are amazing.
    People 'hating' on the game are just giving it the Andromeda treatment, criticism without any real merit.
    CDPR did a great job, and I look forward to seeing where the rest of the story goes.

    Обычная PS4. Игра идёт отлично.
    Никаких нареканий. Я не понимаю, чего все жалуются. Мне комфортно. Ни тормозов. Ни лагов. Чудо, что так работает, если судить по отзывам игроков на ПК с картой 1060. Карта немного пугающая. Первые часы игры не влияют не на что. Инвентарь уж слишком красный. Глаза устают. Зато. Персонажи    Оценка должна быть 9, но хочу рейтинг чуть выше сделать игре. ^^"

I play on PS4 (Fat version), I expected that the graphics will be worse so here you have clearly surprised me (in a good way), but would not have written this item if I do not have problems. To begin with I will say that I am well aware that not all 8 years were spent on directly creating the game itself, I understand that most of the time you wrote (and maybe even rewrote, maybe even more than once) the scenario of the game itself, the plot of the additional missions, as well as the consequences of player choices. So here I would forgive you, but... I think the PS5 and Xbox series X don't have these problems so i feel i got cheated, i would be less upset if the game only came out on 9th gen consoles than if i got a game that doesn't work so well for me. I hope you fix things with patches, but just in your next project you better not "cling" to a platform here that struggles to run your game. Also in the game there are bugs and crashes.
    Conventional "conclusion": I would be less upset if this game came out only on 9 generation consoles, and so I have a feeling that I got screwed for money, but I still expect that with the patches will be better (straining me not so much graphics as slumping FPS).
    2. Controls on consoles (particularly the camera). Without aiming it's pretty good (although I had to "dig" a little in the advanced settings), but when you go into the scope it gets worse. Usually in shooters on consoles when you shoot through the scope camera slows down (ie, sensitivity is lowered), in "Cyberpunk 2077" it is the opposite accelerates, I saw you set up which seems to be responsible just for the sensitivity of the camera in sight mode, but it either does not work, or does it very bad, to check I specifically dragged the slider to the left and most to the right and my feelings there is no difference. Because of this, I personally am not too comfortable to play. It also frustrates me that you have to adjust vertical and horizontal sensitivity separately, this can be found in a small number of games, but when it does happen you realize that you now have to spend time searching for the perfect balance as if both sliders will have the same sensitivity then one of them will still move the camera faster in its direction. The blind spot setting is another minus. In particular, you can adjust zones on 2 sticks together. I personally would like to have a bigger blind spot on the left stick and a smaller one on the right stick. Perhaps I'm just picky about the details, but it is a detail of kotorom uncomfortable to play.
    Conventional "conclusion: We need to reduce the sensitivity when shooting through the sight, as well as an opportunity to be configured separately dead zones on each stick, but setting the sensitivity should be common without dividing into vertical and horizontal.

    What I will say is this - the game was designed from the ground up with ambition to be one of the best looking and one of the most massive games ever. Should CDPR be penalized because of poor performance on an aged console that was released 7 years ago, when there are multiple other ways to play this game such as the PS4 Pro and PS5 version as well? I personally don’t think so. If you look at the NVidia timeline in 2013 when the PS4 launched the 700 series of cards was brand new. There has been 4 generations of GPU launched since then. There’s a lot of technological upgrade that the original PS4 is missing.

    Personally, I feel like CDPR put out a product that everyone knows they will continue to work on to optimize and make better. Does review bombing make the situation better? No

    I understand the frustration of getting the new game and it not performing at even a decent rate, but I also think that if you’re limiting yourself to an original PS4 and aren’t happy with the performance of one of the biggest titles to ever launch, you should consider upgrading your hardware.

    For me it’s GTAV x Fallout vibe and the story is awesome. Open world is huge and it’s everything that I’ve imagined. Waiting for a patch though to fully enjoy it on PS4 as there are many bugs but still: nothing that would deserve a 0 rating.

    One of the best parts of Cyberpunk 2077 is the story, which is very interesting despite being shorter than it should've been in my opinion.
    The characters are great overall; I liked V (Female), Johnny and Panam more than I expected. Some characters like River and Kerry could benefit from more screentime, but they were good nonetheless.
    The gameplay is pretty enjoyable, albeit buggy at times.
    The world is really good! Night City is probably one of my favorite places in a videogame, and most of the quests are wonderful, just like in The Witcher.
    The visuals are very beautiful most of the time and the music is absolutely fantastic!
    Unfortunately for the game though, there are technical problems. From texture pop up, to FPS drops, audiovisual issues, glitches and even some crashes.
    Also, the RPG elements are quite underwhelming (dialogue options & side-activities) and lastly, the A.I. is flawed and the wanting system is almost absent.

    Pros:
    + Engrossing story
    + Fun and varied gameplay
    + Compelling and likable characters
    + Superb quest design
    + Night City is spectacular

    Cons:
    - Short plot
    - Technical/audiovisual issues
    - Underwhelming RPG elements

    Has been good for me, looks good, and even though there are some visual bugs it is nothing that affects my overall gameplay nor experience in night city. Pretty sure most of the bugs will be patched down the road.     I can understand the frustration of the base PS4 players and indeed CDPR should have at least give a recommendation for PS4 Pro, i.e "for better experience best played on PS4 Pro or PS5" and that would be fair. Now, having said that, I play it on PS4 Pro and although it does seem to be slightly wonky at times there are a number of things that one can do to optimize their experience, look up graphics options. I have no doubt that in due course there will be a ton of hotfixes and tips and tricks like with their previous games and for this, I weight my credit to them, things can only improve from now on. What I would also like to point out is that a really good OLED screen makes it a totally different gig when you switch from a simple LCD TV set. I started playing on my usual telly in the bedroom and just couldn't get the best out of it, then switched to my OLED and the streets burst with colours and gave them a fresh look. Cannot wait for further updates and when a normally priced PS5 is at hand will make it another blast.

    Cannot omit the technical glitches but so far the rest is what I have expected, hence 9.

    ps: at the time of writing a humbly sized 17GB of 1.04 patch landed, they're on it. Peace out.    … Expand

    This game has such an immersive story, it‘s fantastic.
    And yes, the PS4 Version has its problems, but it work astonishingly well on my PS4 Pro. I‘m talking about little to zero bugs. Only some rendering glitches that already got fixed with patch 1.04.

I’m desperately thirsting for an expansion that actually continues from which point you left off in the main storyline... All I want is continuation after I left the city with Panam. But I don’t know how they’ll make it work. ANY DETAILS??? I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MY FUTURE WITH MY WAIFU!!! Ok but seriously it’s an incredibly buggy game at this point. Even after two major updates that were supposed to supply “hot fixes” to the game. I’ve legitimately lost track over how many times I’ve had a random app close on PS5. Besides the bugs, the story is excellent. A few hilarious moments, and a few gut-punching moments that will make you question humanity. Or if you aren’t as melodramatic as me, you’ll at least say “damn, that’s messed up”. The game looks pretty good on next-gen consoles, at least speaking for the PS5. The gunplay is actually terrific. Tech precision rifles are overpowered though. I’ll give this game a 10 once most of the bugs are ironed out.… Expand

Better yet, wait until the next-gen console versions are finalized or update your PC to get that higher-end spec and judge it, then.

    At the end of the day, I've put in some 30-40 hours since launch which is more than I've ever put into a new game which tells me that no matter what faults this title might currently have, it's still engaging and highly playable. Don't let the mob convince you that it's broken since it won't run on their PS4/XBone (original) or that 2012 ThinkPad. Hype went overboard on this, sure, but it's still very, very solid.

    If you have the hardware, this game delivers. If you're looking for a perfect product, good luck. Hasn't been made yet, and some people will complain no matter what they're given.

    It's an amazing place with the character and atmosphere CDPR promised. Some of the side jobs are so well done I almost enjoyed them more than the main story line. I loved the banter between Johnny and V and having the random comments from Johnny. Along side this the choices actually felt like they meant something in this game. I would seriously feel bad if I pissed someone off. There were even a few time where the decisions were difficult to make. Some of them are on timers which go too fast. I love the music which is a big deal for me. The talk radio is fantastic. I love me some crafting too. I have a few issues with the menu but I'll get to that. I've come across many references to other games that the studio clearly appreciates. I spent a lot of time just walking around, listening in on conversations, reading store signs and lore. Bugs, glitches and texture popping tend to happen not nearly as much if you're walking around. The main story is not super long and that's okay. I felt if they had added more it wouldn't have just been filler. There's enough in the game to keep you occupied.

    My biggest gripe about the game is the menu. Which is my biggest gripe about most games. There's a lot of going back and forth and it lacks some conveniences. For example, if I have a bunch of items I want to deconstruct I don't want to hold triangle for a few second and do it repeatedly. Give me the option to select multiple items. I work in IT and it severely annoys me when I can't do multiple things at once.

    The game is not unplayable at all nor is it broken on PS4. Not once did I come across anything that impeded my progress in the game. There are occasional crashes (i just use that as an indicator I've been sitting on my butt for too long and need to take a break). I also went into the PS4 with low graphical expectations. It's a great game and just needs some more love. I could drone on for awhile about how CDPR broke promises and shattered childhood dreams and how getting a refund in protest will make no difference. There are enough bad reviews here based solely on bugs and video game industry shenanigans. I think I even read somewhere that someone said there no NPC's in the city. Did we play the same game? All this said though, I can't recommend this game on PS4. Even with patches and perfection Cyberpunk just wasn't meant to be played on the older consoles. BUT it is a good game and will be great once CDPR fixes all the things.

    TLDR: The game is great, the menu is a bit clunky, don't get it on XBOX One or PS4, be patient and wait a month or two for when the actual release date should have been and get it on PS5 or PC :P    … Expand

    Gra PS4 ogrywana na ps5. Nie mam problemu z wydajnością. Są małe glitche ale nie psujące całego doznania z gry. Historia, muzyka i klimat night city rewelacja.

    Don't believe these low score reviews. I'm playing on a base model PS4 and i've had minimal bugs. So far i'm enjoying the story and gameplay. Gameplay is pretty fun lots of varied weapons to find, i'm a sucker for color loot weapons. Character design is quite detailed! Story mode so far is varied with interesting side quests.     I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
