    Huge disappointment. Feel like I have been scammed in broad daylight. Playing on a ps5 .on a lg cx oled. Not only is it plaghed with bugs, it looks terrible. Super blurry and low res with textures from 20 years ago!
    What is the point of creating a vast world to explore if u can't see it. Like someone has smeared marmite on my screen. Avoid!!!

    This is unplayable **** for me, as well as for the millions of other players who own older generation consoles. Turned it off and deleted it after an hour of patience, the vaunted plot does not save you when your eyes are corroded by graphics, and gameplay is killed by bugs. If the humiliated like this, then I absolutely do not.

    Il gioco non è da 10, ma le recenti situazioni mi portano a supportare cdpr ad oltranza, il contenuto del gioco è una perla rara. A livello aziendale e di marketing hanno sicuramente sbagliato, ma mi rifiuto di pensare anche solo all'idea che CDPR possa fallire, una piccola azienda che ha sfornato perle di valore assoluto.

    Nel mio piccolo, cercherò di sostenerla.

    STORY! For me as a lore-fanatic this game took me by surprise. I loved most of the characters and their stories. Even the sidequest had soul in them and I was excited to find all of them. YES it's buggy af and YES the gameplay isn*t gold standart but if you enjoy a good story this game is a 8/10!

    Dobra rada dla każdego kto ma komputer, do czasu naprawienia gry przez twórców radzę poznawać tą wspaniałą historie na komputerze. Gra chodzi naprawdę dobrze, a historia powala na nogi!

    The game definitely can benefit from some visual improvements on PS4, (I haven’t experienced all that many bugs, game crashed for me twice during my 30h played but auto saved shortly before that) which I am sure it will receive, patched released on Friday already made a huge difference. Apart from technical and visual aspect the game is really enjoyable with very good story.

    I'd like to let people know that this game is not broken on ps4 pro and works great. There's a few little glitches but none game breaking. Can't speak for the base ps4 version, but the game is great looks great and am thoroughly enjoying it.

    Das Spiel macht mir sehr viel Spaß ich hatte heute frei und hab das Spiel den ganzen Tag gespielt natürlich gibt es das ein oder andere Problem aber CD project Red versucht mit diesen Spiel etwas ganz eigenes zu machen und macht nicht die Standard openworld scheiße wie Ubisoft oder auch andere publisher

    One of the best stories I ever played, with great side quests, good gameplay, a good rpg system but the game doesnt deliver everything CD Projekt Red promised and the npc AI is really bad, like NCPD officers just spawning in front of you then when you run away they just disappear and stop pursuit you. And the bugs and crashes really messed the game. So I hope CD Projekt Red fixes theOne of the best stories I ever played, with great side quests, good gameplay, a good rpg system but the game doesnt deliver everything CD Projekt Red promised and the npc AI is really bad, like NCPD officers just spawning in front of you then when you run away they just disappear and stop pursuit you. Да, на выходе графика была мыльная, но играть всё равно хотелось, игра не отпускает, хочется в неё постоянно возвращаться, плевать даже на графику. A mobile video about a taxi is not hidden, you are not included in the list of mobile contacts and a call with tasks no longer occurs for you. Glitch 2 is that your brain doesn't repair memory cells and you can't do more hacks, this is a terrible dumb glitch.I started playing this game from scratch 3 times.     I'm playing this game on PS4 PRO since the first day and spent almost 80 hours. In the beginning, I had a few crashes and glitches (wasn't an obstacle to play this game), but currently, after a few patches, I almost don't have any.
    Besides technical issues I must admit that the game is amazing, the world is really huge and quests are really addictive. It's pretty hard to exit the game.

    Runs perfect on my PS5. All bugs have been patches now people talked about. This should been next-gen released and there would have been a better situation. Awesome story and open gameworld in night city CD projekt red have created for us. 9.5/10 2022. Free PS5 patch comin 2022 and will make this game even better.

Тогда я скачал Ведьмака 3, которого я прошел более 5 раз и купил лицензия исключительно для того, чтобы выразить уважение труду разработчиков, проделавших титаническую работу над созданием этой великолепной игры. Когда вышел Киберпанк 2077 со всеми его проблемами на старте, я искренне верил в разработчиков, защищал эту игру отCDPR начиная с 2015 года были моим любимым разработчиком. Тогда я скачал Ведьмака 3, которого я прошел более 5 раз и купил лицензия исключительно для того, чтобы выразить уважение труду разработчиков, проделавших титаническую работу над созданием этой великолепной игры. Когда вышел Киберпанк 2077 со всеми его проблемами на старте, я искренне верил в разработчиков, защищал эту игру от нападок, я хотел, чтобы эта студия продолжала работу, даря нам хорошие игры сделанные с любовью. Я всей душой любил эту студию, ее игры и подход к разработке.
    А теперь в эту самую душу мне плюют. Молодцы, ребята. Браво. Вы плюнули в душу огромному числу игроков, которые вас любили чуть ли не больше, чем на вашей родине Польше.
    Можете не надеяться, что я хоть когда-нибудь куплю какой-либо продукт, связанный с вами. И будьте уверены, я далеко не один, кто так считает.

The issue is it’s not designed for PS4 or Xbox One and it was sold to people on a lie basically. I should’ve waited, I know. The game should’ve remained on PC and then the version for PS5 and Series X follow next year. Maybe they’ll path this but to me theI feel like giving this game 2 is generous - I’d rather give it 0 but to its credit there is the intentions of a great game here.     This is a true diamond of a game, with a few rough edges, there has already been a bug noticeable improvement from 1.03 to 1.04. it upsets me that gamers are so entitled these days, it seems to most games are either epic or trash nothing in-between, take from someone who has actually updated the game before playing and put more than 30 mins into it. There is a truly amazing game here,This is a true diamond of a game, with a few rough edges, there has already been a bug noticeable improvement from 1.03 to 1.04. it upsets me that gamers are so entitled these days, it seems to most games are either epic or trash nothing in-between, take from someone who has actually updated the game before playing and put more than 30 mins into it. There is a truly amazing game here, which will be patched to run better on older hardware(like PS4 and Xbone), some patience and you will truly be rewarded.… Expand

    Where to begin.. I really wanted to like this game but visual problems, low framerate, bugs and glitches. This literally looks like a last gen game. There is no excuse for it. What were they doing for 8 years And there did that millions of dollars on budget go too? it's baffling. I would get a refund if I could as I feel like scammed out of my money.

    Story: 8/10. A great narrative with interesting characters and a great sense of pace. The ending was very powerful and profound and I actually had a hard time making the final few decisions.
    Graphics: A bit of a mixed bag with pop-in aplenty, glitches everywhere and models falling through each other all the time. Then I see the city from    A tough game to review, so I'll keep it simple.
    Story: 8/10. A great narrative with interesting characters and a great sense of pace. The ending was very powerful and profound and I actually had a hard time making the final few decisions.
    Graphics: A bit of a mixed bag with pop-in aplenty, glitches everywhere and models falling through each other all the time. Then I see the city from the desert at sunset and my breath is stolen. When done correctly, the game is beautiful, truly breathtaking but it is let down by the engine.
    Gameplay: Here is the issue, the gameplay at its core is great with good loot and crafting, solid combat and fun missions. Problem is, the glitches. I have missions that don't close, people who won't give rewards, waypoints failing to populate and retries as enemies disappear into scenery making them inaccessible.
    Overall, I loved the story but it was ruined by simply being too broken to be fun to play. Heck, I had to restart the epilogue section twice as voices and text kept skipping! Disappointing to play but I have been left with a deep sense of satisfaction over the story.    … Expand

    What was that? Game does not look too good even if you exclude bugs, but with thousands bugs it's really unplayable. Only good thing is that game is so badly broken so they are offering full refund for that crap! Don't think anybody normal would buy this game ever again after this!

I got it in disk form for Christmas and thought about sending it back before I opened it because of all the bad press and it being removed from the ps store, but I am very glad a didn't do that and gave it a chance because I have enjoyed it. The story is awesome and Keanu Reeves is amazing in it. I love the side missions and exploring and getting new tech. For clarification: The PC version is better and if you cant wait you should go for it (Warning: There is a bug that corrupts your save-file when it gets bigger than 8 MB atop of less but still numerous bugs than the console versions). According to rumors the PS4 Pro version runs also a bit better (Warning: Second hand knowledge as I don't own it). Back to the game: The bugs contain but are not limited to: Slow downs, crashes, graphical glitches (atop on ugly graphics), teleportation / moving through wall characters, NPCs gone missing, hovering in mid air weapons / objects and KI doing hilarious funny stuff. This game was shipped unfinished and it not an accident as the bugs could not be missed. It is the intentional “Release it now and fix it later“ mentality that broke the game. Sadly I see the great game underneath it all and I think this makes it even worse. Gameplay-wise it is also not polished enough as many parts don't fell smooth. I think they should have taken more time to iron out the bugs and improve the gameplay. This could be one of the greatest mistakes of a game publisher. The fans are up in arms, the investors feel cheated (and want to sue CD Project Red), the stocks were down at the time of writing and the great reputation is destroyed or at least tainted. This will not be forgotten as there is no way that people will see this malpractice as accident. Overall avoid this game at the current state! Sadly, everyone who waited eagerly for the "next generation of open world games" (to quote the pre-release gameplay trailer) were proven impossibly wrong.

    For all intents and purposes, Cyberpunk 2077 (on console) is not the game we were promised by CDPR - it is by far the most divisive game launch in recent history. After the overwhelmingly successful launch of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (my review for which is seriously overdue), CDPR garnered a significant boost to their reputation and the confidence in their next game release became unshakeable. That is why their decision to launch a buggy, unfinished, unpolished game remains unfathomable and in one sweeping motion, CDPR have effectively eroded not only their reputation, but also the trust they have carefully built from the ground up with their established and potential fanbase.

    I remember getting the game on launch day, taking it home, then excitedly waiting for approximately half an hour while it loaded. Once it had finished installing, I could not believe that I was about to play something that I had patiently waited for for 2 years(!). The first hammer blow struck when I saw the character model in the pre-game character creator, but I thought that it was a minor hitch - not realising that it was a precursor of things to come. It was when I began exploring the auto-repair workshop (I chose the Nomad lifepath) that I realised that not everything was the way it should be - the graphics were worse than Fallout 4, a game that was released more than 5 years earlier. Not only that, but the technical performance was the worst I had ever experienced in a PS4 game - blurry, muddled textures, significant amounts of assets popping in or slowly appearing, a weird shadowing effect behind fast moving objects - most notably my car, and a long laundry list of other issues that I simply would have never expected from this game considering all the hype. And this was before I reached the city. Once I finished the prologue and reached the fabled Night City, Cyberpunk 2077 sank to new lows. For all the beauty that the promos had shown, my first experiences in Night City were all viewed through an ugly lens, making the game unbearable to look at and almost just as unbearable to play.

    This of course is a real shame because the funny thing is that Cyberpunk 2077 is actually a great game. Beneath the myriad plethora of issues there is a hint of what CDPR promised. Weirdly enough, I spent nearly 20 hours playing Cyberpunk 2077 and I (genuinely) had a relatively good time. But I cannot deny that the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 is not the best way to experience this brilliant game.

    Much like 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 was a promise of great things to come, but was unfortunately subverted by circumstances that no-one could have anticipated. It is immeasurably disappointing that Cyberpunk 2077 (a.k.a. Cyberjunk 2077) is regarded as CD Projekt Red's fall from grace instead of being the studio's finest hour.

    The truth is, I didn't just want this game: I wanted to love this game. Unfortunately in it's current state, it would be very irresponsible of me to recommend this game, even though there's a small part of me that wants to continue playing it. It's that small part of me that can see Cyberpunk 2077's true potential and gives me hope that someday - hopefully soon - I'll be able to play it in all its glory and experience it the way it is meant to be experienced. I still have faith that CD Projekt Red can right this wrong and deliver what they promised. That way they can atone and be forgiven by their fans.

    To conclude this review, I'll say this: Much like 2021, the next gen console versions for Cyberpunk 2077 can't come soon enough.    … Expand

    Currently unplayable on PS4. Frames often drop below 20, textures and animations often don't load in properly. The visuals are absolute garbage, the worst I've seen on PS4. The gameplay feels very glitchy with poor AI. The world itself feels interesting, but hard to explore when the performance is so terrible.

    Putting aside from a moment the frequent bugginess, other elements of the game’s world frequently pulled me out of the experience, from ultra low resolution textures, to the clunky controls. I often found myself having to mash on buttons again and again before a function such as calling an elevator or changing the radio station would register.

    Exploring Night City has its ups and downs. Ignoring the pop-in, and the low resolution models and textures, the aesthetics of the city are very nice; sometimes a bit uninspired, but usually quite slick. Unfortunately, I was surprised by how little there is to do in the city, at least in the time I have spent with the game so far. The vast majority of civilians are intractable, spouting odd remarks when prompted, or not saying anything or reacting to the player, V, at all. The number of NPCs serving as merchants or sidequest givers are extremely few and far between. Given this is an RPG and not an openworld sandbox like GTA, I didn’t expect the world from the player interactions with the city, but compared to another open world RPG: Fallout 4, Night City feels lifeless, and I feel like that’s saying something considering the world of Fallout is literally a barren wasteland.

    The combat is serviceable as well as the story. It is going places that feels like it could be interesting, and a good number of the characters are enjoyable. The frequent load times between some of the cutscenes didn’t help my enjoyment of the story, but compared to everything else, that is a minor nitpick.

    Overall, there is a lot of potential, but with so many elements of the game being abysmal to mediocre, I can not at this time give Cyberpunk 2077 more than an average score.    … Expand

    Also Witcher 3 had great camera angles in dialogue sections that really helped you engage with the story. Cyberpunk doesn't have this: you just look in first person all the time and never see your character. The dialogue is also nowhere near as interesting as in the witcher. I'm 20 hours in and haven't done any interesting quest. In the witcher I was constantly wondering what kind of interesting quest the game would offer me. In Cyberpunk I select a quest and pray to god:"please let this be something that's not boring."

    I have stopped playing now as the main story has been such an overtalkative letdown and the sidequests have just been really shallow. In terms of bugs it isn't really bothering me on my ps4 pro. 30 fps isn't desireable during gunfights, but that is expected from a ps4 in an open world game. If I had a standard ps4 though I would not have tried playing this. Next up, everybody in this world treats me like **** My only two replies my character can give to this is 1. Be an **** back and say **** off" or 2. Be a weak **** and react over-emotional. Where is my Geralt? Who never overreacted, but made calculated choices. Who was respected for his wisdom or by his feared reputation. And if npcs were disrespectfull I could kill them, but there would again be consequences. In Cyberpunk there is no nuance, but it's just a tape that needs to roll and I need to listen. No one gives a damn about my character and I have no impact on the outcome.

    This game is just as linear as GTA V, and has worse combat worse exploration and is less polished than Fallout 4. It has been the biggest letdown of a game ever to me and is unrecognizable when compared to the quality of the witcher. It's like comparing the Hobbit to Lord of the Rings.    … Expand

    I want my money back!! This was not ready for release. Bugs EVERYWHERE!!!! Playing on a PS4 and it’s just ugly. Concept is the only blu thing good about it. Execution was horrible. They need to fire all of their execs who pushed this out in this condition. I’ll never buy another game from this developer. Completely untrustworthy.

    All bugs aside, the game has a nice main plot. VERY linear and scripted but well acted with a nice B movie story. Everything else is Assasins Creed level of copy paste grind. And not AC: Valhalla. AC2.

    Side missions: every single one is the same. Sometimes you get a side mission that is still - exactly the same, but has a boss fight and some dialogue at the end that is actually interesting. Good luck finding them. I guess it's like 1/30 sidequests.

    Police doesn't exist. Yeah if you clip a person with your car six armed patrols spawn to shoot at you, but hiding behind a bush or driving away 50 meters deals with it. Police don't follow. Actually the only time I've noticed Police, is when they spawned in a closed bathroom during a story quest. In a wall.

    Cars: only difference between cars is speed and the 3d model you see.

    NPCs - nostalgia. Empty dolls like in GTA3. They don't have purpose, personality, don't react to anything that you do. Just stand there. City NPC models are just assets. Like garbage bins, benches, etc. They live their lives! Like these Policemen knocking on a guys doors for a week now without stopping and having a conversation this whole time.

    Dialogues: Sometimes they look like in Mass effect 1, but usually with just 2 choices. In most cases you just have one choice of dialogue. Or my favourite:

    - Answer "i'll think bout it".

    Choooooice!

    GFX: It looks nice with the new lighting effects. Just for fun, google how GTA4 looks with these effects. And see how CP2077 looks without them.    … Expand

    I've started the game twice in 2 days, only to abandon after the first 15-odd minutes in both instances due.to crashes, frame drops, and glitches that don't alow me to proceed without tearing my hair out. With better options available out there, I don't see why I should make make the effort to take it up any further

    Hating this with a passion. Its not a game but the most awkwardly paced interactive movie…. With occasional mediocre fps elements. I dont know what they are sniffing at cdpr, but im not interested in their work anymore. You

    We paid premium price for the worst version of this game on release- released in an unacceptable state that is shockingly dreadful. Too many bugs, low as 15 FPS, PS2 graphics at times and the longest texture load in for any game I played in 2020. Just an embarrassment of a game, CDPR released it for PS4 knowing it should have been optimized but it was not. Please avoid this game 1/10.

Looking at the trailers, your bustling city with day and night NPC cycles, fast car action and adrenaline shoot outs are just not in the ps4 version.     Bought it for my PS4 fatboi yesterday, averaged around 20 fps at what looked like 720p which made it effectively unplayable, driving around Night City was like a powerpoint slideshow. The fact that this game was released in this state just boggles my mind.

Sure, the occasional crashes, bugs, and frame-rate drops grew tedious, but nothing stole from my immense enjoyment of the game. I guarantee CD Projekt Red will tamper with this game until it's perfect. I may not agree with the developer on several philosophical notes, but they are a hard-working game studio that puts out quality content.

    Some notes:

    A few game systems are completely superfluous. I never engaged the crafting system during my playthrough.

    The writing was hit and miss. All the "uhms," "errs," and "uhhs" used to recreate ordinary speech patterns only highlighted the weak dialogue. It surprised me to find typos in a few shards. Over-reliance on shock to carry narratives sometimes weakened the stories. So many characters committed suicide that it quickly became melodramatic. Touchy subject matter is best given its proper due, not only to respect those with close personal experiences, but to give the material weight. This juvenile tendency also jumped out in the preponderance of sex-related humor. Granted (as relayed to us by The Exploited) the punk aesthetic nurses sex and violence, the game tried so hard to be "adult" that it veered right back into juvenile. All that said, many of the stories were well-crafted with engaging characters, and they explored gritty subject matter many games avoid. Uncovering the dirty underbelly below the neon lights is key to the cyberpunk ethos. This the writers nailed.

    Don't let the bad reviews scare you: This is a quality game, and if you can stomach Bethesda's buggy titles, this one will easily blow you away. As of now, it's a 7 due to the myriad technical issues plaguing the last-gen console version.    … Expand

    Having perservered to the end credits, I can honestly say this game is very poor. "The generations crowning achievement" is unremarkable in gameplay, story and open world, none of which stand out compared to the dozens of other high quality games released in 2020. How many standard fps shooters do we really need in the industry? Well here's one more for the pile.

    The games many promised features are simply not present at launch, and together with many glitches and bugs, and poor sound design (complete silence for many sound effects, even in main story missions) the game has released unfinished. My own experience had the game crash every 90 minutes, and a glitch caused the game to softlock every time i used my phone.

    The positives are the voice acting, Keanu Reeves and the soundtrack. The main story missions are fine but frankly the whole experience is soured by the feeling of being lied to by the developers and publishers.
    I do not reccomend a purchase of this game, however i feel like it's far too late for that advice, as the hype and false advertising surrounding release has meant very high sale numbers. This game leaves me with genuine feelings of sadness towards everyone involved, as its clear a lot of creative energy went into the project. I intend to refund the game, uninstall, return and then never think about it again. There are enough depressing things in the world without adding shoddy video games to the list.    … Expand

    Besides all of the glitches and bugs, the game is unplayable.

    I've basically beaten all current side missions and activities on the map and I'm still not able to enter Lizzie's bar, the dialog is not being triggered.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
