    Buggy, glitchy, terrible unpolished alpha build of a game. playing on PS5 via backwards compatibility, yet still borderline unplayable. Poor AI, if you sprint 10m in front, scenery and people takes about 2 minutes to render from smooth clay. The bugs, clipping, and glitches makes immersion into the story and setting basically impossible. The worst part is the constant crashing.     An absolutely awful game, riddled with bugs, performance issues, frame rate issues, frequent crashes and some of the worst AI, RPG, crafting, driving I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Please for your sanity do not buy this game. God-awful waste of time on the PS4.

    I play on a PS4. While I have experienced several bugs and crashes, none of them have been any worse than bugs in Ark, Assassin's Creed, Fallout, or Skyrim. It has a fantastic storyline, interesting side missions, and fun game play. I am disappointed with the driving mechanics and wish for a better AI in general. I would love to be able to edit some aspects of my character during gameplay.I play on a PS4.     CDPR scammed people out of their money. This trash company for several years told console players that game looks surprisingly good, but in reality they didn't sent console version to reviewers and banned what accidentally leaked.
    They falsely advertised their game as good looking and working very well, in reality it is a steaming turd.

    What an amazing experience on the PS5, yes there are bugs and oddities but it was very playable and above all enjoyable. I’ve now put it aside until such time the PS5 version comes out but if you have a PS5 don’t let the bad reviews deter you from a unique experience

Учитывая баги и вылеты (даже на PS5), сейчас я бы поставил игре 7-7.5, но когда выйдут все патчи, устраняющие критические баги и вылеты, это будут все 9.5 баллов (к сожалению, на metacritic нельзя поставить промежуточный балл, поэтому я поставлю 10, хаха). Прошел игру еще 16 декабря (играю на высоком уровне сложности), сейчас я    Платформа - PS5

    Стоит сразу сказать, что 10 я ставлю заочно. Учитывая баги и вылеты (даже на PS5), сейчас я бы поставил игре 7-7.5, но когда выйдут все патчи, устраняющие критические баги и вылеты, это будут все 9.5 баллов (к сожалению, на metacritic нельзя поставить промежуточный балл, поэтому я поставлю 10, хаха).

    Прошел игру еще 16 декабря (играю на высоком уровне сложности), сейчас я наиграл уже 111 часов и за это время игра вылетела примерно 40 раз. Количество багов в версии 1.04, кстати, заметно уменьшилось, но критические баги остались даже в версии 1.05, которая вышла сегодня. Например, я не могу пройти задание с ликвидацией одного из киберпсихов, задание с уничтожением нарколаборатории, а также у меня не открывается дверь к Кассиусу Райдеру (и его соседу-риперу, соответственно). Казалось бы, минусов у игры всего два, но они действительно критичны. Если вы хотите купить cyberpunk2077 на консоли прошлого поколения, подождите несколько месяцев. На консолях нового поколения проблемы идентичны, а полноценная версия для PS5 ожидается только в 2021 году. Что касаемо плюсов, то здесь все очень сложно, но для себя я выявил следующие плюсы:
    Сюжет. Очень классный и погружающий в себя сюжет с восхитительными диалогами. Играл в русской озвучке и на моей памяти это лучшая локализация за всю историю индустрии, серьезно.
    Диалоги, само собой.
    Сайд-квесты. Количество крутых сайд-квестов здесь поменьше, чем в третьем Ведьмаке, но те, что есть - ВАУ, мое почтение, снимаю шляпу.
    Персонажи. У каждого персонажа есть своя харизма, каждый обладает своими особенностями, каждого персонажа ты очень хорошо запоминаешь.
    Геймплей. Тут уже на вкус и цвет. Если честно, мне лень все это расписывать, скажу лишь то, что хакинг довольно примитивный, хоть и выполнен хорошо, а от каждого выстрела я получаю удовольствие. Геймплей довольно широкий, но отнюдь не глубокий.

    Вот сейчас мне уже точно лень придумывать нормальный конец для обзора, поэтому я вот что скажу:

    So far my only complain is that some letter fonts are too small, that there are no hairdresser in NightCity and you can not respect    From my experience in PS5, I have had a great, great time.     This Game has about 2077(^^) Bugs/Glitches. This Game is nothing more then a mess. It's not finished, you can't play it right, it's probalay still on Alpha-Status. This is not acceptable. Next Time maybe take some Tester into the Team and not Hollywood Stars.

    Cyberpunk is one of the best game ever, but only if you play it on strong PC. PS4 version is a disaster/ bad joke/shame. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! Everyone who bought ps4 version should get complementary key for PC version for free.

    Honestly I deeply disappointed because CDPR has failed to matarialize the words they promised or advertised. Definately this game is not for PS4 and I can’t believe that this is actually released on 2020 with terrible graphics and bugs. Even the other games back in 2015 looks better than this game. I dare say Cyberpunk2077 is not ready to be released to the public.

    If you're looking at buying this for base PS4 - don't, it's as simple as that. The game is clearly too much for the hardware to handle and should have never been released on this generation of console. While I understand the PS4 is now dated technology, other CPU-intensive games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn run almost flawlessly on PS4 and still look fantastic.If you're looking at buying this for base PS4 - don't, it's as simple as that. The game is clearly too much for the hardware to handle and should have never been released on this generation of console. While I understand the PS4 is now dated technology, other CPU-intensive games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn run almost flawlessly on PS4 and still look fantastic. Cyberpunk 2077 seems to have a resolution around 720p, the graphics and textures are blurry and look dated and the frame rate drops are woeful - around 15fps during some combat sequences. Even the title montage has frame drops. As others have reported the game also causes frequent system crashes, roughly one or two per hour. All of this is unacceptable really, especially considering how long the game's been in development for. No wonder the PS4 reviews are being gagged by the developer!… Expand

    Cancelled my pre-order when I saw what a mess is PS4 version. Even though I have PS4 Pro, the release console version of a game is a bloody mess. This is unacceptable. You should really cut marketing budget, and think about the players, like you did before. Won't toss a coin to you anymore.

The Witcher 3 won every reward and so we blindly pre-purchased thinking we would be taken to Heaven again. It has turned out to be Hell. I have emailed PSN in the vain hope I can get a refund -This is simply shocking. I'm from an economically failed country, which means every $ cost me so much to get. I've wasted 60$; it's about 1-2 months of work. I tried to refund, but due to the PlayStation policy, I didn't succeed.    I pre-ordered the game on PS4 last month.

    It was the first time for me to pre-order any games.

    They told lies; they showed lies.
    They hide the truth on purpose.

I was blaming Ubisoft for making trash games but believe me instead of buying this game go and just buy AC Valhalla. You would definitely enjoy much more...

Let's ignore the fact that the game looks bad, I mean, really bad, like life of the black tiger bad levels. If you ignore all that, an issue remains: this game does not run well, it doesn´t even run all right or even passably. In the linear scenes 30 fps are rarely achieved and when free roaming through night city... I've seen PowerPoint presentations running smoother than some of cyberpunk 2077s set pieces.

    After 20 hours I just gave up, the issues in this game made my experience unbearable and tedious. Perhaps in 6 months, after several patches I`ll give this game another chance. For now I cannot decide which gives me the worse nightmares: how cyberpunk might have played on consoles if it were released in April of this year or the sound of a 2013 PS4 Fat running this game.    … Expand

    I bought the game with absolutely no expectations and was still disappointed, in menus the cursor has a mind of its own which makes settings and character creation a nightmare. I’ve played about 6 hours worth of gameplay and have had 8 crashes. This is ‘new BioWare’ level of writing, it’s nowhere near the level they achieved in The Witcher 3 or even 2, for that matter.

    The technical issues are in a category of their own, this is the worst looking console game I ever saw and I refuse to believe this couldn’t look any better with proper optimization. Maybe in a world where RDR2, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4, RE2 remake, DMC5 did not exist this argument could fly, but sorry, there is really no excuse to deliver a sub-par product like that, knowing that other companies do a much better job. The developer used false marketing to peddle this game on current gen consoles, knowing fully well it was not ready to be released. I know that real clients of these companies are investors and players are left with a role of consuming the product, but this company painted itself as consumer friendly, so there is that. I don’t know if they can rebuilt the trust they have gained in last few years. Such a great way to destroy your reputation just to satisfy the investors and pump your stock price, yay.

    With mediocre gameplay this game deserved a solid 5 with one extra point for the cyberpunk atmosphere, which I am a big fan of, but the technical problems alone should cost 3 extra points. And it's not only graphics, this game has some massive problems in its code, game-breaking bugs, AI issues, scripting problems, it's amateurish levels of delivery. 3/10 to me, buy it at your own risk, and if you are a patient person wait for it to be 5 or 10 bucks, this is Anthem level of failure so the price should drop relatively quickly.    … Expand

    During 16 hours I got 3 crashes and probably 8-9 minor bugs that weren't so bad. Actually, they were somewhat funny. In the worst cases I was always been able to load my save and continue just when I was a minute ago.
    Yes, it is buggy. But give it 0 just because of that would be completely unfair. And stupid. It is an amazing city with deeply designed visual styles from the team that tried to bring us something new. And they did!
    And they are not Ubisoft who releases less buggy but still buggy AC and instead of fixing everything just adding monetization. CD Project Red at least tries to care about users. The recent patches and their roadmap confirms it.
    Yeah, it lacks a lot of features from GTA but c'mon, it is not a GTA. And it is not a Witcher. But RPG elements, story, dialogues, shooting is better than in Fallout 4, for example.
    So yeah, great game, really. I hope january patch will reduce the amount of crashes to zero. But it is also very playable now. If you are not a crybaby with ridiculously high expctations.

    My best description of where the game lies is in between a hardcore open world RPG & a linear story based FPS. It's taking the FPS stylings of a Fallout game, updating it with more modern takes on dodging, double jumping & overall maneuverability while keeping to the statistical background & importance of a classic RPG where your character build defines how well your character works & what they're good at.

    Aside from differences in genre styles & character agency, the world works pretty differently as well. While considered an open world RPG and being one of the biggest and busiest open worlds to date I have found that the world, while appealing & visually gripping lacks a bit of the randomness of true open world. When you've beaten the game, done all of the side quests, APBs & gigs and you are left looking at what to do in the post game you find that there isn't much to do or very well any incentive to grind out for better equipment or for money (unless you want the Autojock trophy for owning all of the cars). For this particular issue I ended up fixing this by simply exploring the map.

    The world that CDPR has made from the resources of 2020, RED and Pondsmith himself working with them they have been able to create an enormous megalopolis comparable to Mega-city One from the Judge Dredd comic series. The city layered with breathtaking individualistic aesthetic and panache gives off really well done visual storytelling. One can almost see the lore of how the city's districts were formed without needing to read about it, BUT just in case you wanted to read about it you will be absolutely enthralled with the various amounts of data shards filled with Night city and overall Cyberpunk lore to ingest. In some cases the map of Night city is an almost perfect copy/design of the Cyberpunk RED map which takes place in 2045 but if you look back to 2020 you'll see very little that remains similar, but this generally makes sense.

    Pondsmith didn't necessarily want you to be a world saving badass, but instead have you be a pretty normal guy (of course this is for the TTRPG, whether that sentiment converted into the development of V is a whole other story) & to me personally the way the story of V is told in the game is done beautifully. You start out no matter what background as a basic nobody & from that point onward you are essentially just trying to make a name for yourself & make it to the big leagues. How V interacts with the supporting cast is voice acted & written naturally & fluidly with what I'd consider to be perfectly rational reactions considering the circumstances. Johnny Silverhand & V's relationship is an integral part of the story & depending on how the player chooses to rush through the game, take their time or just mess around every now & then can change the pace of that relationship. I personally layered the story telling into sections, I'd play a bit of the story then chill & do gigs & side quests & then go back to the story - by doing this the way their relationship played out felt a lot more natural, as if as time went on they had become closer. I could also see someone blitzing through the story & feeling like it was forced & didn't make sense, on this I'd say it's more of a player's choice to how that will feel BUT CDPR may have done a little bit better to allow the more casual players to feel that natural progression come about.

    Away from this the story telling of the relationship/friendship quests, side quests & gigs all came with pretty well done voice acting & writing. Without spoiling anything I'd just suggest to fully invest in the Panam, Kerry & Judy quests.

    We're now on patch 1.06, all I can say on this is that on the PS4 slim the bugs were basic stuff that you'd see in really any open world RPG and some you STILL see in Skyrim, nothing truly game breaking...that said there are a few side quest bugs that are annoying and won't allow you to either start them, do them or turn them in. Luckily as they are side quests this isn't super important. As for crashes, since the new update I have experience a crash maybe once every 4 hours - being an experienced open world RPG gamer across consoles and PC, I learnt from this years ago and have implemented a multiple manual save system as well as an obsessive quick save system.

    Overall having finished the game all the way through in each ending, exploring afterwards, deep diving into the lore, trying to find cut content & pushing the game to it's limits I'd have to give the game on the PS4 slim an overall 8.5/10 or an 85.    … Expand

I play on a base PS4 yet I'm lucky that I have two bugs, pop-in (not a deal breaker for me) and crashes(highly annoying especially the moment after defeating the final boss of the game).

    However, I believe that the game has the potential to be one of the best masterpieces in a long time. I really appreciate the narrative of the game. I understand many are displeased with it, but again I am testifying to my own experience with the game. From the choices and dialogue choices I made, the story of the game ensnared me into its narrative web. I feel the characters are well written with their own motivations that might not make since to the other characters, but I can see why they act the way they do. I appreciate the relationships that the game forms. The one I appreciate the most is V's and Johnny Silverhand's. How I personally played the game their is so much growth between these two characters, and I actually thought Keanu Reeves did a good job playing Johnny. Depending on what games come out this year I do actually believe that Keanu and the voice actors that played Rogue and Male V could be nominated for game of the year awards.

    Gameplay is what comes next for me. I really do like the combat of the game. You start off awkward and clunky. This is slowly overcome as you progress through the game. As you level up throughout the game the skills will feel more natural. Driving is the same way. The first vehicles are awful, and it is easy to blame poor game design for this. However, it driving gets much better as you attain better vehicles. Also an important thing to remember is that not to mash down on the acceleration. Of course you aren't going to make a 90 degree turn going over 120 mph. The Ai of the game is pretty hit or miss for me. I have ridden with npc that have demolished other cars and run over pedestrians that didn't get out the way. During combat, some enemies are incredibly dumb and just stand there. However, some will actually take cover. And once every blue moon, I will be surprised as an enemy runs around a block or into a build only to come from behind to flush me out of where I'm camping. Or even just straight up rush me to force me out of my cover.

    Overall, I give the game an 8/10 for a strong narrative, amazing characters, and engaging gameplay. I can't give the game a 10/10 because of the bugs that can interfere and detract from the game. I feel that future dlc's and patches will further improve the game, and at that time, I will be happily give the game a higher score. Again this my own opinion of the game I encourage y'all to play the game and form your own.    … Expand

    I mean, the artists definitely poured their soul into it... but feels like CDPR just hired random people in the street to work on narrative, pacing and emotional involvement. Things are just dumped onto the player and you... just don't care because you have no idea who is this Guy A, what he wants to do to Guy B, why you need to get Girl C, whether you want to go for optional task X to grab item Y and do Z.

    I just.. couldn't care less because the narrative IS NOT built properly. The game does nothing to get me in and engaged and just does its thing. Feels very bland.    … Expand

    I pre-ordered Cyberpunk 2077 and played it the moment it hit 12 am. I was excited to jump into this world, but instead I was left with the most infuriating experience I have ever had with a game. I found myself feeling sick by the first hour. I thought maybe the first person shooter was messing with my eyes. Turns out it was the extremely blurry graphics and horrific framerate.

    I hate comparing hate comparing games, but I can't help but compare the overall world and graphical capabilities GTA V has on the PS3 and XBOX 360. GTA V was the swan song of that platform generation. Cyberpunk should have been the swan song of this last generations consoles, but it's NOT! It's barely optimized for those systems. Graphically it should be much better. Stability wise it should be much better. The open world should be much better, The Framerate should be much better. Do I need to go on?

    What gets me is how stupid the overall world is. Cops popping in, instead of arriving. Zero reaction from npc from much of what you do. You can park your car in front of multiple and you get a no response. Barely any cars on the road. It's not a living and breathing world. It's lifeless, unless you're walking around. NPC feel stupid and robotic. Some of this game seems to be ass backwards. Imagine a gaming company tooting about how detailed the game is even the garbage is specific to the area a player is in. It isn't just generic garbage. Yet, NPC's have some of the worst AI I have seen in an open world game ever! Where is the logic in taking the time to detail garbage, but not taking to time in having good AI? The Witcher 3 AI is worlds better than this. How could they screw it up so badly?

    At this point, it's just stupid. It should be so much better on the PS4. I feel like the game utilizes 25% of what the console can do.     Where are the meaningful choices? where are the story where you actually built connection to the rest of the world? how the **** are this world changes with your choices when they barely react at all.     Not even a "thank you" from the side mission NPC after you saved them?? What is this garbage AI from 2002?

    AC Valhalla was more of an RPG than this ****

    I'm a fan of this studio since the first Witcher but after this game and Todd Howard level of lies and deceptions from trash, I'm done with them. Hell will freeze before I touch or preorder anything off this garbage studio ever again.

    Lazy, unspiring, bland, **** mediocre.

    Playing on ps5 it still looks terrible even with the patches and enhancements. Absolute turd. Wait until the ps5 xsx versions come out.

But hey, the preorders alone (thanks to CDPR's deceptive marketing and embargos) paid for all the costs of the past eight years, which means every dollar earned since the 10th of December is profit for CDPR, so there's that.

    I fondly remember a time when a game was expected to be in a playable state at launch. Those were the days...

    Okay, what do we take away from this fiasco, kids? Never preorder. Never get a game on launch day. Never go to the store without reading some reviews first.     Największa porażka w branży od czasów E.T? Gra na Ps5 wyglada jak na Ps3, gry ma Switchu wyglądają lepiej. Wiedziałem, że Cdp to nie Rockstar czy Noughty Dog, ale to to już jest jakiś cyrk. 8 lat? Tak to spierdolić? Polak potrafi! Zapierdalać gry na komórki, się nadajecie do pisania gier

    For now this game is unplayable piece of garbage, resolution on my PS4 sometimes 144p, frame rate is 15-20, bugs, glit ches. I don't recommend for anybody. Maybe few years fixing and we will have a good game I don't know. 1 scores for interesting idea and another one for Keanu Reeves somewhere in the game, but still I just didn't reach so far.

    Ужасная,неиграбельная версия уровня альфа-теста. 1) Баги с управлением - не успел зайти в меню, тебя уже встречает скачущий туда-сюда курсор и это не лечится ни подключением другого геймпада, ни перезагрузкой игры. Браво CD Project, таких косяков я даже в Early Access в Steam не видел

    2) Дальность прорисовки - возникающие объекты перед тобой на расстоянии в 1-2 метра, это норма?     Я думаю не стоит писать про полное несоответствие трейлерам, абсолютно мертвые и пустынные улицы и повторяющихся по 3 раза на квадратный метр NPC.

    Я нормально не могу пройти пролого, потому что НЕИГРАБЕЛЬНО

    У меня вопрос, господа разработчики: Зачем вы выпустили эту поделку на рынок? Зачем были громкие речи про прорыв на Current gen? Я верю в проработку ролевой составляющей, но техническое исполнение — это худшее, что я когда-либо видел за всё время существования PS4. И я никак не могу насладиться ролевой и геймплейной составляющей как минимум просто потому, что мой персонаж не слушается управления и игра вылетает слишком часто, а выглядит как поделка на раннюю PS3.

    Надеюсь и жду, что терабайты патчей исправят ситуацию и у меня всё таки получится поиграть в игру на PS4. А пока - вполне справедливая оценка в общий рейтинг.

    Патч 1.04 вышел,но позорная проблема с тормозящей стартовой заставкой и люфтящим управлением до сих пор не исправлена.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
