    CDPR - don’t release the game if it’s not working on platform. Constant bugs and blue screens. Graphics quality is terrible.

    Completely unplayable garbage. As soon as you try to get in car and drive the resolution samples down to 360 and everything stutters. Combat is a little bit better but still bad beyond belief. Considering the posted "ps4 gameplay trailer" this is a blatant example of false marketing.

    This game runs like garbage on base ps4 and it's not even worth it. I love the witcher 3 but holy **** this was a disaster. Please fix for ps5 at least, its horrible and ugly on there too.

    Un gioco che per quanto riguarda le ps4 standard si puo definire solo "orrendo" per grafica bug e problemi vari, di conseguenza vanno a influire sul gameplay in primis e purtroppo distolgono da una storia ben strutturata e accattivante. Una delusione derivata da un marketing fuorviante e scelte non oneste da parte della software house.

    Unplayable even on PS4 pro. I have played **** games before and if you look past the many bugs and texture popping the story elements are great and combat can be fun. However the amount of cut content and lies from the developer about features that aren't present on any version of the game are unacceptable. With the animals that were shown on gameplay demos stealth is impossible as every enemy is alerted by a body when there couldn't be any line of sight at all. So I thought fine I'll play the only way that was clearly developed and shoot everyone but 4 times in a row I have camped in a room and the AI would spawn 4 jacked animals behind me and I'm dead.

    Complete disappointment. Game is broken with terrible visuals, pop in that takes over 20 seconds to render character models and environments. The fact that they hid console performance was inexcusable, and if they would have just been honest about the quality and said that they would have worked diligently to fix it, the fan base would have been much more forgiving.     Main story is cool but it doesn't work properly and is full of bugs. Everything else I've experienced is a dumpster fire. Shoot outs and driving will run at 15 fps. I don't even know what to say. I've experienced every glitch I've seen on YouTube and beyond. I've never played such a broken game on launch. Once again I'm speechless at this.

    It’s all story and little gameplay. When you do get to finally play. It crashes mid mission and you have to restart from the beggining. Waste of time. PS5 user.

    Unbelievably slimy move by the company. Never has something like this tempted me to go Karen-mode. But this is the one. CDPR knowingly INTENDED to put an unfinished game on the market after hyping it up for 7 years. Knowing full well it wasn't going to work for console users.

With a small team working on it for 3 years and after the witcher 3 released the full team working on it, just wasn't enough. It's just a joke they were brave enough, to release a beta version of the game for a full prize. But seriously 720-900p resolution, 1 meter viewing distance, can't reach the 25 fps and I didn!t even mentioned the bugs. It's a joke and we deserve a refund.     this game is completely broken, there's no way this could have been released to console, I spent one hour playing and I found 5 diferent bugs 3 of them couldnt let me pass history. Never expected something like this from CD Projekt red. They will never have my support on new releases.

    The game has a good story and a good map but the game is unplayable . The amount of bugs in the game makes you want to puke and throw the game in the garbage . The frame rate is a disaster that has never ever been seen before I was getting 10 to 20 fbs .

    This is the first game I have ever reviewed on Metacritic. My first experience with pre-sale, and last...at least for CDPR. Absolutely not a playable game with graphics which is not better than Half-Life 2. Today I requested a full refund and even do not plan to buy this piece of **** in the future. Totally disrespect from CDPR was addressed to all peoples who were waiting hyped set of bugs

Look i'm 35, i grew up with consoles andI actually just created a Metacritic account solely to make my feelings known. However, a friend told me ok to play pc and only then grades. The problem is that my computer is old and won't even hurt CP. Here, too, the same friend gave me a solution. You never have the equipment to Play Geforce Now. I tried this service and I was shocked. Not only that the game works in full HD, ultra settings, FPS at 50-60, sometimes minimal drops to 40. My opinion changed by 180 degrees. From now on, you never like or wake up from your computer. I consider Cyberpunk a great, addictive RPG. It's been a long time since I had so much fun in any game. This world pulled me into the rest, and admiring this beautiful city in good liquidity is wonderful. If someone complains about the console version, I recommend you to try to play on the PC. PARTES MALAS: -Lo primero y más claro es los fps, la principal razón para no darle un 10, ya que de normal son más bajos que otros juegos, pero no te estropean la experiencia, ya que esto es por el gran mundo que nos ofrece, y por su amplitud; el problema llega cuando en algunos combates bajan más de lo debido y a veces puedes llegar hasta morir por ello, pero esto supongo que se arreglará en próximas actualizaciones. -Esto no se si se podrá considerar malo, pero el interfaz (menú inventario, árbol de habilidades etc) al principio se te puede hacer abrumante y demasiado complejo, aunque con el tiempo te irás acostumbrando, pero al principio puede resultar sumamente excesivo. OPINIÓN FINAL: Me parece un juego muy bueno, pero que falta pulir lo en ps4, pero estoy tranquilo ya que se que esta no es la versión final, puesto que aún quedan 2 grandes actualizaciones, y que cuando salgan estoy seguro de que le podré dar un 10.

    Bugs and crashes were annoying, but I still enjoyed the game enough to collect the Platinum Trophy. I logged over 100 hours of enjoyable gameplay and the game still stands out as one of my favorites. Would have been a 10 for me if not for the technical issues.

    Normally I don't believe in a 0 score. But constantly crashing every hour, horrible frame rates, textures not even trying to pop in, constant freezes in action sequences, and all around unplayable on base PS4. Makes this a 0. CDPR lost me as a customer after this scam.

    I played and reviewed Cyberpunk in December 2020. I decided to give it another playthrough a year later in December 2021. I played it on the PS5 and really didn’t run into any technical issues. I think I saw one floating car- that was about all. The city still lacks enough pedestrians and cars to look like a lived-in location. I stuck mainly to the main story without playing too many of the side missions. I chose to pursue the ending with Rogue & it was a much better ending than the stock ending I got the first time around. I don’t know if we’ll ever get the promised DLC or PS5 version, but it’s worth playing on a next-gen console or high-end PC. I wouldn’t play it on the last gen consoles. Overall, I felt very satisfied with this playthrough. It was a very good experience. I would play it again sometime in the future.… Expand

    ps3 quality graphics, blurry as **** fps drops 15-25 in combat, 15-23 driving or walking.
    I liked the story but after 7 hours I can't play that, and devs said that on base ps4 "it's performing surprisingly good"

    Biggest scam of all the time. Garbagepunk is worse than FarCry3's graphics on PS5 and other consoles. Full of bugs, stupid AI's... What a disappointment! Frauds. I want my money back.

NPCs mouths not moving. First person view gets stuck in some zoomed in mode and prevents me from running. And to top it off, the actual title card after the prologue didn't even load. I've put hundreds of hours into Witcher 3 and the Deus Ex games and hoped this would be a nice blend of the two, but I've never seen a game in this bad of a state.. I can't enjoy the game or take it seriously because the gameplay just becomes a bug simulator. This is Duke Nukem levels of unfinished.… Expand

    They will definitely make improvements to this game but on release it was unplayable. I can not comment on the game because although I bought a copy I couldn't play it. CD Projekt CEO lied when he said Cyberpunk 2077 runs "surprisingly well on PS4 and Xbox One Consoles". It was UNPLAYABLE! Biggest scam in Gaming History.

    There are a number of gamers defending the title by telling owners of the base PS4 and Xbox One consoles to upgrade to a next gen console. This is an indefensible argument. Firstly, the PS5 is unavailable everywhere in the UK at the time of writing. Secondly, the game was in development for a PS4 release long before the PS5’s launch was even announced.

    I am currently pursuing a refund via the PIaystation Store. I am not holding out much hope, but I will never again pre-order a game or trust and support CDPR.     It's a mess on PS4 Pro even after the latest patches. PS5 seems better, but it does not have a next-gen patch yet. Maaaayyybe, just maaaybe, you should not have been releasing a game in that state in general, and needed to delay it, at least for consoles.

What can't be fixed is the core issues with the game. All the marketing leading up to release said "you can become any V you want to be". Well, it turns out the three prologues mean nothing. Corporate stooge or nomad you always get railroaded to the same 6 month time skip cutscene and your V is always the same streetwise edgelord no matter what, even if you wanted to be a well-educated corporate stooge on the run he still acts like he was born and raised on the streets. There's no classes to pick from, stats mean very little (I think it's impossible to have a "bad build" or one that won't work). Frankly, this was sold as an RPG but it has even less depth than Fallout 4. In Fallout 4 you had Yes, Yes (sarcastic), Maybe, No. In this, almost every choice is Yes, or (Corpo) Yes where the character adds in some anti-capitalistic rant while agreeing. Not much choice. The world seems impressive at first glance but it quickly falls apart when you realise all the NPCS are mindless drones walking straight ahead. Nobody to interact with outside of a handful of key NPCS, nothing interesting happens, no spontaneous moments like V NPCS arguing or having a meal together. Shame!!… Expand

    It really does bum me out to see how badly Cyberpunk runs on base consoles, especially when CDPR specifically released no gameplay and no console review code.

    They've really done their reputation a huge disservice by not being more transparent about this.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
