    The game was advertised as game for ps4, however it is not working on console. You can feel the greatness of this game, however it is unplayable.

    Played it 5 hours on the PS4 pro. An absolute mess, not just a bad looking game, but downright the WORST looking game I ever played on the hardware. Original Shenmue on Dreamcast still looks better. And it is not just the bugs that break the game constantly, the environment is blurry all the time, frame rate stutters or downright freezes at ervey corner, and systems are a mess. AndPlayed it 5 hours on the PS4 pro. An absolute mess, not just a bad looking game, but downright the WORST looking game I ever played on the hardware. Original Shenmue on Dreamcast still looks better. And it is not just the bugs that break the game constantly, the environment is blurry all the time, frame rate stutters or downright freezes at ervey corner, and systems are a mess. And talking about the textures... I can't even tell if it fares better than the original GTA III at this point. I have no clue what the studio had in mind releasing a product like this to the world. Don't believe critics saying "PS4 is bad but ps4 pro is fine". This is simply not true. It currently stands as the worst experience you will ever get on PS4 pro. I don't put 0 because maybe there is a fine game hidden behind this disaster, but I can't trust anything from the studio now.… Expand

    Game is unplayable on PS4 Slim. It just doesn't work properly, and it's so far from working that I doubt it could be patched. On version 1.04 it stutters, it has drops to 15FPS, it looks like it's rendered in 480p (although Digital Foundry says it's 720p, for some reason it looks nowhere near that quality). Constant popping, freezes and so on. CDPR just scammed all console    DONT BUY!

    One of the biggest regret in gaming for me was I preordered Anthem and the game didnt deliver, and now come a second time with Cyberpunk 2077. At this state, this game is unenjoyable and unplayable on ps4 base, I felt scammed by CDPR that released this game on base ps4 without warning or atleast delayed it further to be playable on ps4.     It's hard to tell if there is a good game underneath the horrible graphics. I played the game on PS4 Pro and it looks like a game from about seven years ago. It's full of bugs and the AI is stupid. I feel cheated.

    Injugable, una basura de juego. Es puro marketing. La historia es corta, aburrida, y sin apenas libertad ni decisiones. No tiene nada de juego de rol. Y esto sin hablar de la basura de gráficos y la asquerosa optimización que han hecho en consolas. Frames por debajo de 20 y resolución de ps3. El mayor fraude en la industria del videojuego de la última decada.

    Until you have fooled ps4 owners with such a poor version of your masterpiece. Not just a graphical downgrade, which might have been expected, but a game that fails to run on old consoles. Fortunately, Amazon accepts the return and fully refunds the consumer.
    I doubt I'll believe in you again.

    I can't remember the last time I cried but having pre-ordered, installed and played this game after years of excitement and realizing what a dissapointment it is - I almost got tears in my eyes. I've played between 15-20 hours and this game is just a big mess, to the actual point where you feel scammed and deceived by CDPR.     Prior to release I said to myself that this is not going to live up to the hype, but if it's even near Witcher 3 in terms of quality, immersion, open world gameplay and story I will be more than happy. This game falls short in every aspect to the point where it's almost embarassing. Graphically...wow. THE GAME LOOKS TERRIBLE, and at times it's even UNPLAYABLE. Like it's a early access last generation game. It looks even older than The Witcher 3, how is it even possible? Seriously, CDPR, aren't you embaressed to release this? You should be because the optimization for this version is the worst I've seen in any game ever.
    It's just a blurry mess that gives you headaches and the FPS-rate is terrible every time something happens on screen. I've tried everything - cleaning the cache on my system, trying different settings switched off HDR and so on. I just can't believe that this is what you get after all these years of waiting and I'm just wondering what the developers have been doing. I get the impression they've put more money and energy into the marketing than the game itself. PS4 and Xbox players have played a big part in making this happen, supporting CDPR by buying their previous games and what we get is a full-price "game" that is broken and not even finished. When you thought 2020 couldn't get worse and was actually looking forward to something...honestly, this feels like a 60 dollar slap in the face.

    The open world that was promised feels completely superficial and lifeless with NPC's and AI that feels incredibly old. I get the impression they've just filled the world with a bunch of colours, cars and NPC's that is just there for filling to give you a false feeling of size and choice but in reality there's not much beneath the surface. Can't blaim the voice acting but the dialogue choices are not better than the 5 year old Fallout 4. The choices that they've been hyping are non-existing, it goes from dialogue to life paths. Just superficial, all of it.

    Combat is a mess with bullet sponge enemies that take several headshots to kill and drops in frame rate that makes it very hard to aim or even see what's happening around you. The quest menu is just a huge list and apart from that you have your in-game cell phone that keeps getting texts and calls from all sorts of people. The whole prologue introduces you to a lot of characters in a pace that leaves you confused and wondering what's going on. I was expecting the possibility to play this slow for those like myself who prefer that, because it's supposed to be an RPG, but it just feels that they've been trying to merge different styles and it's just confusing. Perhaps to attract all sorts of gamers, I don't know, but for me this does'nt feel much like an RPG. Some of the things that are supposed to be fun like crafting system, skill tree and perks are just a text-based mess and the whole menu feels old outdated. Like everything else, they've prefered making it look cool over being enjoyable or even understandable. Same goes with the map, I mean are you kidding me, CDPR? Everything is confusing even after 20 hours. I'm a patient gamer but never have I experienced something like this. Totally takes away the enjoyment.

    I can go on but a lot of people have already written the exact same things that I've been thinking and it makes me tired just to think about this. I'd say to anyone thinking about buying this: don't listen to the journalists or believe the scores they gave. I have a lot of friends who are playing this on PC and they're also having huge performance problems and are pretty much just as dissapointed as I am. Don't know anyone who is actually enjoying this. This is a clear example of how you can earn millions by lying and deceiving your loyal fanbase. Never buying a product from this company again. It's just sad and I feel sorry for all console players who spent money on this. If I could get a refund I would do it without blinking.    … Expand

Non compratelo se non volete buttare dei soldi senza possibilità di recuperarli né di aprire un canale di comunicazione con la cd projekt. L'aggiornamento 1.04 non risolve i problemi.     Absolute trash game. Thanks to constant "(CE-34878-0)" errors, graphical glitches, and game breaking bugs the game is unplayable. I managed to get through the first few hours of the story and have had to reload the game 20+ times, had several PS4 database errors (which wiped all my in-game settings), and really struggled just to play. It's almost impossible to get any enjoyment out ofAbsolute trash game. Thanks to constant "(CE-34878-0)" errors, graphical glitches, and game breaking bugs the game is unplayable. I managed to get through the first few hours of the story and have had to reload the game 20+ times, had several PS4 database errors (which wiped all my in-game settings), and really struggled just to play. You can't aim properly in a gunfight because of how much the game stutters - and for what is supposed to be a fast paced, you can't even aim properly. I'd have got more entertainment from burning £50 than spending it on this waste of data. It's a shame because underneath the mess that is the PS4 version of this game I can tell there's a good story.     If any other company released such a poor quality product in their respective industries they would be held accountable. CDPR needs to be held accountable for this. Here are the things CDPR needs to do if they ever want me to purchase another one of their products ever again:

    3. issue a refund to all PS4 and Xbox one users.
    4. Fire the CEO and anyone responsible for quality control. This game has truly ruined CDPR's reputation. I understand that the media and users "strong armed" the company into releasing the game after all of the delays but someone in the quality department at CDPR needed to blow the whistle on this game for current gen consoles.

    Something that needs to happen gaming industry wide IMMEDIATELY! Force every company to show how a game runs on any and all platforms it will be released. Hopefully this game's horrible reception can provide something positive to the industry and all customers by creating an additional "check and balance" in future game releases.

    Even without bugs, glitches and bad performances, this game is not more than a visual novel and walking simulator. The roleplaying layer is laughable, and every mechanisms in the game are as superficial as rare.

    I would have give it a 6/10 and maybe 7/10 for visuals, but the release is a technical shipwreck, an a mass heist against console players.

    personal opinion, you create the character and you don't see it, it's an open world full of bugs, you can't choose between first or third person, it crashes, I would kick you in the teeth this is disrespect,you are really useless.

    Sony refuses to give a refund, stating that the developer must make a statement and claim that the game is faulty. I've never felt so poorly about a game. They told me to "Just wait. the developer will fix it." That doesn't feel like the right way to handle a customer complaint in any industry.

    Besides the fact that the gameplay is akin to "playing a Nintendo 64 port of a ps2 game with beer-goggles on," the rest of the game fairs no better. The story is fine but no better than what I would expect from a Call of Duty campaign. It is all built on the illusion of choice. All of the paths lead to the same end, and all of the dialogue options are "be a dick" or "expand the conversation by also being a dick."

    It reminds me of Shenmue, but if none of the side activities were available. No vending machines, or pachinko, or quick-time events. Just Ryo Hazuki fighting randos...with his dick out sometimes? The world of Shenmue 2 felt more alive and interactive.

    I feel like I was tricked into losing my 60$ plus tax. And I'm now completely jaded by the AAA video game industry.    … Expand

There are TYPOS in the city, t-posing npc's, standing while riding a bike, Jackie doesn't even turn the wheel when he's driving for crying out loud and that's not even scratching the surface of it. The company spent more on the marketing than the actual game, and it shows. Not to mention, the character creator was NOT what was advertised. The options for male V are absolutely ridiculous and he cannot look even remotely as realistic or cool as he did in ANY of the promos. And you can't change your hair? Even a character on GTAV can change their appearance whenever they want to. This game has been a massive disappointment and an example of how hype, bloated marketing, and false advertising can make a company a massive amount of money while screwing over all of its fans.… Expand

    This game has a lot of good things: the world seems to be well made, the combat is well designed (way better than other rpg games like fallout for example) and the level up system is pretty complex and can change a lot of how you play with different characters.     The biggest issue though is totally non-existent AI. The NPCs run on a script, ruining any possible sense of immersion. Lifepaths mean very little, and the city feels like one big, empty cutscene. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) seems more advanced.

I'm so pissed they showed false gameplay for the ps4 trailer, not only that but the pro still runs the game awfully, textures render seconds after I look at them, the framerate is very low, the menus are broken as hell. I'm so pissed I can't return the game, because it's a physical copy. Shame on you for lying to your fan base cdpr!

The game looks like absolute rubbish on PS4, if you played a game with ultra low graphic mode on your old pc you will understand what I am saying. Edit: The game looks so much better at 1.05 and I finished main story/ most of the side quests. The game is good, It's not a RDR2 but it is a really good game except being a short game.

Plus it experiences constant textures, NPCs, buildings, and more popping in WAY too late, and it's full of more bugs than a Bethesda game.

    The character creation is just the icing on the terrible piece of s*** cake that Cyberpunk is. You can only customize the face and genitals. That's it. You're stuck with a SINGLE body type for each gender, which of course is the stereotypical muscular guy for males. For females it's even worse as you're stuck with an athletic body with the typical impossible flat stomach that the media loves glorifying for some terrible reason. For a game that advertised customization like it would be a revolution in character creation design, it has no excuse. It's more shallow than Skyrim's character creator, which by the way came out almost a decade ago. Being able to only customize the face reminds me of Dragon Age Inquisition where all you could do was the face, yet you were stuck with a terrible female body no matter what. But hey, atleast in DAI you could make the face look good! In Cyberpunk it's basically impossible to create an attractive and beautiful character.

    As for genitalia (another widely advertised thing) you can only change the male's p***s size and if they're circumcised or not. For females you only have 3 breast sizes (small, medium, and large) and areola size. Oh and for both genders you can choose types of p***c hair. Or you can have a mix, which makes it trans-friendly, right?

    Wrong. The game also advertised itself as trans-friendly, yet it's the COMPLETE opposite. At first, everyone loved the fact that your character's gender wasn't determined by their genitalia. But we were all fooled and betrayed when we realized that your character's VOICE decides their gender. Lower pitched, deeper voices make them male, while higher pitched, higher voices make them female. Why isn't there just a simple option that lets US determine the gender?

    Lastly, the game treats trans people like a fetish. There are constant advertisements that show a feminine looking trans person with a massive p***s (and it's focused on that p***s) like it's a sexy poster or something that's supposed to get people all hot and ready. But then there's NO trans-gender NPCs ANYWHERE. As far as I know the only trans-gender character in the game is your character (if you choose to be). So they're willing to make a fetish out of trans-gender people, but they're not willing to put any trans-gender NPCs in the game? Sounds pretty f***ed up to me.

    Overall this game is just another disapoitment in a year full of them (2020 has had maybe a handful of good things). They clearly released the game in it's incomplete and broken state just so that they could get the Christmas sales they wanted. Do not buy this game.    … Expand

It takes around 10-20 seconds to render any texture within the game. The game crashes randomly when you are ealking around. The graphics are so bad that they hurt my eyes.     Unfortunately, a fail. The game should have not been released on PS4, and I feel properly scammed. What is worse, the game isn't groundbreaking - it's like taking elements from GTA, Deus Ex and some story based games. It breaks my heart to see it on this state. If they would have been transparent about its performance on PS4 I would have just purchased it on steam. It is completely broken even AFTER the patches. The only game I ever pre-ordered and never again.     9 years in development to get a game that looks like a PS3 release. I’ve been playing this on a PS5 and while performance might be a bit better than the PS4 or Pro, the game looks like a joke. The city is empty, the characters lack detail and the game keeps crashing or having random glitches every few minutes. A disappointing mess 9 years in the making.

    Feels like I’m playing a blurry and buggy version of GTA 4 on PS3. This is just horrible optimization and a public apology is in place if you want to save some of your reputation.

    The driving actually feels like the game Driver 3 on PS2. Doesn’t feel right at all. This makes me appreciate Rockstar even more.

    Over a time period of 16h the game has crashed 5 times now. 4 times before the 1.04 hotfix and one after this so called hotfix. For one mission I tp'd across the map and needed to reload the game to finish the mission. I have clipped trough cars and object. Seen blurry faces. The game is just not done on console. You guys **** I already took the disk out and won't be playing it till it's fixed.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
