    I'm incredibly disappointed that CDPR has gone the way of EA, if not worse. The game is honestly unplayable and feels like a bad beta. This is a AAA $60 title, for a beta CDPR has shown money means more to them than their own fans. The fact we can't receive refunds just highlights, this is a scam like we have never seen before

Handles like a late 90’/early 2000’s game, which is completely ruined by first person perspective. It’s similar to Days Gone but set in the future. Glitchy and boring.     After waiting for a first patch of 50Gb to download and install, I played a few missions of the game with no crashes, but severe glitches and graphical atrocities. Then came a second update which only fixed framerate issues. I went back to the games shop right away and got a full refund.

    Shocking quality. NPCs were more sophisticated 10 years ago. The bugs, crashes and frame rate drops alone make Cyberpunk 2077 unplayable on base PS4.

    The console versions of this game are literally just a broken and terribly optimized PC port...

    There is no reason for a console specific version to run this badly and why some of the menu's we're clearly intended for a mouse and not a controller.

    The game is unplayable in its current state. It should never have been sold like this, it is completely unacceptable.

    It looks awful and the performance is deeply unstable. The Witcher 3 has shown that they can make a game that looks and plays nicely on PS4, they've just chosen to release this game before it was finished. Plus they lied about it and tried to hide it. I feel betrayed.

    The state that this game released in is absolutely disgusting and needs to be called out. Its literally unplayable. Crashes are frequent, bugs are everywhere and overall fps is miserable. I don't care if they are going to fix this in 3 months or so I pre ordered a trash in its current state.

    How to play this game? It's full of bugs. 15 fps in the city. Who can pay money for this? It's not waste 60 dollars... PS3 graphics at the end of 2020 year. Maybe this game can be 9/10 or 10/10, but it's impossible to see anything just because of bugs and fps, and 900x resolution. Not waste your money on this, please.

    This game is mostly a huge disappointment. I don't know what caused CDPR to release this game in this state but it wasn't worth doing so. Playing this game on my base PS4 hasn't been a pleasant experience to say the least. The graphics are lacking and way too smudgy. If you were planning to buy this on the PS4, do not do it!

They promised a living-breathing city and what we got was an empty wasteland full of dumb generic zombies. NPC's have the AI of a ps2 game. Traffic has no AI whatsoever. The driving itself feels like GTA Vice City. Clothes are awful to say the least.     For some context I will be reviewing my experience with Cyberpunk 2077 having played the game on a PS4 pro. The game does run at a fairly solid 30 FPS during non-combat sequences in my experience, however this is done at the cost of horribly rendered textures and very poor resolution everywhere in the world resulting in everything looking like a neon blurry mess. The bugs are countless, from relatively harmless but still immersion breaking pop-ins and T poses, to game breaking crashes and dialogue bugs that render multiple story line missions unplayable and unable to be progressed. I went into the game without colossal expectations of innovation, but instead simply hoped for Skyrim, Fallout NV or Star Wars KOTOR level of RPG engagement in a Cyberpunk setting. Unfortunately, there are many standard RPG or open-world nuances missing from the game (no driving AI, barbershops, worthwhile street vendors ect.) and the combat (melee in particular) leaves a lot to be desired. The interpersonal interactions and dialogue between characters are very well done and the creative vision is there (though entirely unrealized) but that being said, consumers on PS4 systems (base, slim or Pro) should 100% stay far away from purchasing this game until it receives adequate support/patches from the developers.    … Expand

    The worst part were the false promises from CDR that CP2077 will work on the old consoles. I could focus on PC or trying to get PS5. Now I am stuck in a limbo hearing from my friends about the game and not being able to play... THE WORST FEELING EVER.

    The game is completely broken in base PS4. I barely hit more than 20 fps in the city and the game had crashed several times in the 3 hours i played it. Broken mess.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. this ps4 game is a tragedy, Nomad the first 5 seconds of the game, we reattach the cables in the car that do not change their position at all, maps on the walls, posters are so blurry that you can't look at them, globes are in millions, jumping rag dolls and characters spawning after a while, mission after the prologue, the one in which we save a girl from the bathtub, I tried to pass her quietly, of course, it cannot be done because Jackie then does not bump into the wall and it is impossible to go further ... and the windows they do not open, and so do the common crashes. 8 years of production, I do not know, they got a tip in the middle that there will also be a version for the next genes and skip the previous generation or what is it like? to play CP you need to add 2k to a new graphics card or PS5 XD… Expand

How on earth with all these checks, dedicated teams, testers on developer, publisher and hardware manifacture side, this game was given a greenlight for release? Who have paid whom and how much to let this **** happen? There is always a manager, who says “approved”, even a council of managers at sony and developer sides, who say - “go, we’re ok with releasing it”. Has any of them at least tried to launch it on ps5? Next-gen console.... It crashed 10 times already during a 2 hours play. Half of the cutscenes I’ve seen were jerking. It’s impossible to play at this state. I’m even ok with seeing ****ty graphics - ps5 support hasn’t been added yet, but with crashes and freezes - no way to play at all. I don’t know what cd projekt must do to please the community - free DLCs won’t help. I got a disaster for 70 bucks. And they would continue doing same **** on next projects they release....… Expand

    **** this game on PlayStation 4. a lot of friezes, fps is not enough, cars fly in the air, characters pass through textures, and in General a complete p*****. I expected more from the game but in the first mission I was met in the scene not by enemies but by flying weapons.THIS IS TOTALLY ****ED UP.

    Could be a potentially great game. I am not even complaining about the graphic. It was decent. But the amount of times the game crashes on my ps4 pro was frustrating. I decided to stop until this has been patched. I have also sent at least 3 reports of the crash and just hoping for a fix soon..

    WTF is this garbage! The combat is horrible and unpolished making it unplayable. Yes it looks like **** and lags but I could live with that if the combat was fun to play. Deus Ex is the game your looking for, not this rip off. Cd Red just robbed me. Just as horrible as the final season of game of thrones.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
