    Despite dashed expectations, this is still a great game. The current state on PS4 Pro is playable, sometimes even gorgeous. Framerates could definitely be improved but the gameplay is solid. Give the game another month to marinate and this thing will be ready for the masses.     Story and over all game design with sidequests and characters is a masterpiece. Bugs, performance and controller gameplay were quite annoying and unacceptable when I fist started the game. But after a few times I started to try out the game again and I really enjoyed what the developers created here.     I really think all the people who were involved in creating the game itself did a fantastic job and I hope there will be some dlc's at some time. What I dont understand why the management almost f*cked up this game and the company to its end. I mean nobody is perfect but you just had one job and now u have to deal with the consequences.     By far the best game this I have played this year yes they are bugs but not game breaking, PS4 and Xbox owners what do except when are trying to play a next gen game on a potato. CD Projekt should never have released this on the old consoles

    I've changed my mind after 5o hours of a gameplay on my PS5. This game is epic. Please don't buy it now, wait until fixed and ONLY then go ahead and enjoy it. It's absolutely stunning.

It’s a fun game, with dynamic story, good characters and addicting gameplay. It just has a lot of rough edges and honestly was released unfinished and unpolished. The good news is the games issues are all things that can be fixed.     If you have a PS4 or PS4 Pro, don't get it. If you have a PS5, go for it. It runs well and haven't noticed any issues on PS5. Avoid playing on last-gen. Regardless, it's still a CDPR game with beautiful visuals, an interesting location and a concise story featuring Keanu Reeves. But DO NOT go in expecting another masterpiece like The Witcher 3.

    Honestly I deeply disappointed because CDPR has failed to matarialize the words they promised or advertised. Definately this game is not for PS4 and I can’t believe that this is actually released on 2020 with terrible graphics and bugs. Even the other games back in 2015 looks better than this game. I dare say Cyberpunk2077 is not ready to be released to the public.

    It doesn't look pretty; not as pretty as what you'd get on a high spec pc or ps5. It's unfortunate that the visuals are really toned down and even more unfortunate you only figure that out when you start playing. Where does that leave you. Well, it leaves you with an amazing storyline a truly unique and immersive game and an interesting and multi faceted set of characters that will keep you engaged for days. This is the witcher 3 but now branding shotgun super hacking ninjas. Did you like witcher 3? You will like this.. The game isn't a huge sandbox you get to kill romance or interact with everyone. It has issues with optimisation and obvious bugs.. Some of them silly and easily laughable, others annoying. This isnt different from tw3 when it launched. It's quite urfotunate that there has been so much hate against the game. I guess people have been expecting a world that you get to change and shape and structure into your thing. This isn't what you get. You get a story driven by the main objectives where you get to interact with a specific subset of npcs that have been designed to perfection. Everything from enemies to friends to romance options are so well detailed you will be confused about the comments that are being shared. I'm now about 45 hours in. The game is amazingly amazing on ps4 if you can accept that you won't get the fancy graphs you'd get on a ps5. This a truly amazing rpg, one that gives you multitude of options into tackling any quest and one that comes with 4 or 6 endings depending on how you progressed through the world and how you managed relationships with npcs. Is it perfect? No. The 2 patches that have been released seem to have made the experience much better. Is it unplayable? Absolutely no. The game is truly amazing. You will need to play a few hours to start comprehending what this is about. I give it an 8 out of 10. Hotfixes and dlcs will probably make this a 9.     In terms of gameplay and story I'd say the game excels where few before it do. Providing an interesting and entertaining glance into a dark future. With interesting characters, items and stories.
    The main quest is relatively short but rich and is expanded upon by side missions from prominent characters and feels like enough with everything else going on on the side .
    In spite of the general report of bad performance I'm glad to say that on my PS4 (slim) with some changes to graphics settings (disabling film grain, CA and motion blur), it runs well, and as of patch 1.05, it hasn't crashed, and prior to that I had maybe a crash every 4 or 5 hours, sometimes more frequently in the city centre. This was annoying but manageable as the game autosaves every few minutes. And while there is a few glitches here and there in my experience they have been minor, and rarely emersion breaking.
    Some reviewers commented on the ads being ever present and a few other asthetic choices for me certainly feels like a good choice for the game (being a cyberpunk game, shadowrun games do much the same).
    If I where to criticize it would be elements like traffic AI and NPC behaviour. Cars will queue behind yours if it's slightly in the way of the road, never going around. NPC's never complain about you picking up something from they're shop or stall and so on, though that aspect of things is relatively minor    … Expand

Yes, the game has a number of problems, but in General, you can see the efforts of the developers, especially if you consider that this genre is new to them. As for the versions for the old generation consoles, in my opinion, there is a big fault of managers, PR Department and very dissatisfied users when they transferred the game.

It started with short framedrops & bugs that escalated to serious glitches (invisible hostile npc's spawning out of thin air, dead bodies causing you damage, map indicator going crazy, hp bar counter stuck to 0 while on full health) ultimately ending with theAfter 8 hours in the game, focusing on the main story, I encountered all shorts of flaws that rendered the game almost unplayable. It started with short framedrops & bugs that escalated to serious glitches (invisible hostile npc's spawning out of thin air, dead bodies causing you damage, map indicator going crazy, hp bar counter stuck to 0 while on full health) ultimately ending with the game crashing completely. Even with the latest hotfix (1.05) nothing seems fixed. I'll keep playing but I wouldn't recommend it in its present state, the game is broken. Too bad as my expectations were high for this one.

    Too buggy to warrant it's early release but...I had fun. Side bar, Sony and Microsoft should have told CDPR to continue working on the project instead of allowing the game to be sold on their platforms. This terrible launch was every bit their fault along with CDPR.

    Can’t believe I bought into the hype. It’s the first and last game I will ever pre-order. I knew something was wrong then moment gameplay started. It hurt my eyes to play. Even if it looked good, this is not an open world RPG. Everything is a lie. And honestly, it probably deserves a 0

    The gameplay is actually pretty fun. You can solve missions in a variety of ways either stealth or guns blazing. Character leveling is really well done. Between abilities, perks and attributes there is a lot of room for crafting a character that fits your play style and once you really start getting a lot of perks you feel your character getting much more powerful.

    The challenge is the game is so glitched. Graphics are somewhat improved with patch 1.05 however some items remain blurry beyond recognition. NPC's are terrible. Traffic will not render. Cars simply disappear after starring at them for a bit like a mirage. I'm attempting to finish all side quests but I'm pretty sure a couple of mine are bugged which will prevent me from getting the platinum trophy.

    I'm having fun despite the near game breaking bugs but even without the bugs there is nothing here that hasn't been done before and better. Game is reminiscent of Fallout or Borderlands.    … Expand

    Io mi chiedo perché lo state offendendo. Oh non so voi ma da me gira bene. Ho finito la trama ora ed è bellissima, specialmente per gli amanti di Blade Runner O Ghost In The Shell. Giocatelo, giocatelo anche se avete una ps4 o un pc che non lo sorregge (fate l’abbonamento a geforce Now) ma dovete giocarlo. E non intendetelo come un gta futuristico

    One thing I can say about problems of the CP2077 – this game makes me remember how is it, to play games on old-PC (I still remember how is it to play STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl with minimal graphic settings, low FPS, with lots of bugs, but despite this enjoy the game – that kind of memories).

    You can fix the technical problems, but if the game essence is kind of trash, it wouldn't help.

    Now for the serious part:
    This game is clearly story-driven - it makes you sink into the lives of the characters. The side quests are well written, the city is beautiful (yes - even on PS4) and the motion capture is top notch - if you focus on this, you will see the nuances, excellent reactions to your choices mid-convo (compared to    Not bad for a first attempt to make a GTA-like game.
    Now for the serious part:

    This game is clearly story-driven - it makes you sink into the lives of the characters. The side quests are well written, the city is beautiful (yes - even on PS4) and the motion capture is top notch - if you focus on this, you will see the nuances, excellent reactions to your choices mid-convo (compared to Witcher 3 - much much better, remember when Geralt gestured out of context? Here, you won't find that). The combat is a way for achieving your oals, not the main focus and value of the game.
    If that's what you are looking for in a game - you are in for a treat.

    Now the rest:
    - game lacks deeper mechanics - you can just upgrade your character, inventory or complete quests. No other activites that would give it more replay value
    - technically - it's completely playable (despite the often framerate drops - especially hurtful in races) and the bugs did not affect the story/gameplay for me, besides about 5 crashes)
    - your choices affect the ending, mostly - in the number of options you have for completing it

    To sum things up - this game is on one hand beautiful, on the other awful in terms of not being finished. IMHO this needs at least 3-5 months to be at it's peak value.

    Is it gamechanging? No.
    Is it a bad game (at the moment)? Absolutely not.
    Is it worth buying? Yep - in February.

    Much will depend on the speed of patches and quality of it's growth and DLC.    … Expand

    Honestly love the game, glitches and all. Recently my opinion changed, the 8mb save file max is the most obsurd thing I've ever heard. To tell people they're playing the game wrong by doing everything it has to offer is absolute garbage. I'll maybe revisit the game next year, for now I can't support something like this

    The story is amazing and engaging. The world is beautiful and DENSE, when you look up sometimes you cannot see the sky, and there are things to do everywhere. The gameplay loop is fun with most of my enjoyment coming from upgrading cyberware.

    All in all the game probably deserves a 9. I am giving it a ten because of all the echos about a broken game that I know are 100% false beacuse I have had the game since day one. I don't know why people want to hate on CDPR so much but its not because this game is terrible.    … Expand

    Playing on a PS4 Pro with a 1080P TV. I am thoroughly enjoying the story and characters. There is lots to do in the world. The graphics are nice and the voice acting is amazing.
    I have not had any game breaking issues. The game has crashed 5 times in about 30 hours of play, from which I was able to load a manual or auto save and be playing again in 5 minutes. A couple characters have hung    Playing on a PS4 Pro with a 1080P TV. I am thoroughly enjoying the story and characters. There is lots to do in the world. The graphics are nice and the voice acting is amazing.
    I have not had any game breaking issues. The game has crashed 5 times in about 30 hours of play, from which I was able to load a manual or auto save and be playing again in 5 minutes. A couple characters have hung up on walls/stairs. The game feels like it runs about 25-30 FPS. While I don't like bugs, all of those issues have been seen on EVERY open world game I have seen released in the last 8 years. I suspect if someone was playing on a 4K TV the performance would be worse.
    What this boils down to is if you are playing with a PS4 Pro you probably have nothing to fear, but if you are playing with a base PS4 or a slim then hold off for 6 months while they optimize the engine better.
    FWIW - I have seen about 5 updates/patches already in the first 8 days since launch, so they are actively working to improve the game.    … Expand

    This Game has about 2077(^^) Bugs/Glitches. This Game is nothing more then a mess. It's not finished, you can't play it right, it's probalay still on Alpha-Status. This is not acceptable. Next Time maybe take some Tester into the Team and not Hollywood Stars.

    Gameplay - 7/10 (AI can be a bit dumb and I really don't like how police just teleport behind you when you commit a crime, otherwise solid stealth/hacking/gear collecting/upgrading mechanics). Recommend playing on Hard or Very Hard to make up for the AI shortcomings.

    Story - 10/10 (story is a strong point both in the main quest and the side quests. You really empathise with the characters who are realistically flawed and motivated by realistic goals/loyalties etc.)

    Replayability - 7/10 (Good for 3 replays IMO. There are 3 main playstyles - gun and hack combat, stealth and hacking with the expected hybrid possibilities in between). There are 7 endings but IMO it's more like 3 endings with 2 slight variations each and the secret ending which is mainly there for a challenge). Only thing that would increase replayability is if they let you 100% custom make a character rather than play as "V" who is a character with a set goal and motivation (i.e. to become a Night City mercenary legend). However this was probably necessary to tell the story of V rather than the story of a generic player so I understand these things are always a balance.

    Music/Soundtrack - 8/10 - Low key the second best aspect of the game. Perfect for setting the atmosphere of Cyberpunk. Some songs really pump you up for a mission and others make you kind of want to stop just to listen to them.    … Expand

    - The AI of the NPCs is like a bad joke, in fact, this title does not even allow the P0LlCE to chase the player using their patrol cars, something that since titles like GTA 3{2001} is already possible for the AI to do in games; So- instead the C0PS magically pop-in very close to u, regardless of where u are, like indoors areas or in the MlDDLE-0F-F***lNG-N0WHERE!!
    - The NPCs of its world are literally soulless, which basically makes this title look if it was devoid of sentient life when one explores the world of the same.
    - The NPCs are so- literally BULLET-SP0NGES-- to the point that one can shoot straight to the head to an NPC at P0INT-BLANK RANGE-- with a Double Barrel Shotgun-- but even so- the damage this one will take per shot is ridiculously minimal!
    - All of its ENDlNGS are BAD, since they are SAD & DEPRESSIVE, or because it directly makes no f***ing sense whatsoever---
    ENDlNGS Summary:
    (1) V signs a contract, in which V literally sells itself to the Arasaka Company, just to receive a surgery.
    (2) Or V's body will continue to function as such with V's soul/conscience for around 3 months & then-- that's it-- ¡LlGHTS 0UT for V, if this one returns to its body regardless of who accompany V, during its final Assault against the Arasaka Company!

    Just finished the game on PS4 Pro and I love it! Great story in my favourite setting. Had a lot of fun and definitely going to go through it a few more times!
    Main story is amazing and major side quests were quite fun as well.

    The game is a steaming turd, the only good points would be the story( when it works) and the soundtrack. Bad points? If your inventory is too full your game crashes, physics for everything is broken and pop in is s***. I will not be pre-ordering any more games from now on.

Sure we got some objects poppin in, also around 10 crashes in now more than 60 hours - but nothing that kept me from proceeding in any quest or that wasn't fixed after reloading the game. So I'm sure that CD Project Red will fix allStory and gameplay are the best I've ever experienced, but it has some bugs. I can only speak for the PS4 Pro Version, but here it runs pretty much okay.     The Best RPG game of the decade. I don`t understand those people who are whining over this game. After Patch 1.05 , works very well. The story and the atmosphere is a really high-class, Too bad that people are complaining over this game, couse it was realsed too early, but now its a great game over the patches and next Hotfixes are coming early 2021 year.

    i believe that its a good project, but it`s needed to be polished as soon as possible. In my opinion, the workable on PS4 is acceptable. I have PS4 SLIM last revision. There is some bugs, but is`s not critical.
    I have concerns only about optimization and resolution. its acceptable to play on PS4, but around the V`s home and in City Center - FPS is unstable.

    After 1.05 patch the game become much better and that said to us that cd project red not throw this game they upgrade it and do it better.
    And in my opinion in teh next patches the game will be the best so just wait for more patches.

I have played over 70 hours of cyberpunk at this point and have enjoyed a lot of what night city has to offer. I should also state that I am playing on ps5, but that has not improved my experience in terms of bugs. This game needed much more work to be at a level that is enjoyable toCyberpunk, at its heart, is a very well written story with engaging characters and some meaningful choice. I personally am a sucker for sci-fi and this particular brand of sci-fi, so its easy for me to see past all of the **** bugs and annoying crashes. BEyond the bugs there are other areas of cyberounk that need massive reworking because they are just bad on a fundamental level, the police system spawing in anywhere and everywhere destroys any immersion that the city creates for the player, the civilians have terribly scripted reactions to gunshots and cars crashing into things near them, either cowering for an excessively long time or saying something really weird that does not fit the situation. Its a shame this game was released when it was because if CDPRojekt had the time to finish this it would be amazing but in its current state it is just good. (if you can look past the bugs, crashes, and some poorly designed AI systems.) Overall I would give this game a 6.5/10 but My rating is based on the quality of the story and quest design which I am giving a 9/10.… Expand

    Playing on PS5 this has been a great experience so far all things considered. With all the extremely negative controversy this game in experiencing, it has exceeded my expectations in terms of minimal amount of bugs and performance on a next gen system.

    From a technical perspective what they have pulled off is amazing.     I never played a game like this... it's huge its wonderfull it's full of different things, grafic is next gen in a old gen console. With the last 1.05 patch is for me perfect.

    O jogo não roda direito, tem queda brusca de FPS quando eu ando pela cidade, o jogo está mau otimizado pro PS4 e Xbox one, isso tem que ser arrumado.

    Mas a história e os personagens estão impecáveis, as missões secundárias parecem missões principais de tão bom, se não fosse os problemas técnicos o jogo seria perfeito !

    Of course CDPR need to improve optimalisation and graphic, resolution, a few bugs BUT there is a GREAT story, characters, a whole world including diffrent locations, city plan, a lot things to do, all this fantastic views. Love tv and radio, i could ride for hours. All types of fighting is just prefectly planned - katanas, guns, mantis blades, gorilla arms, hacking! This is awesome!

    Gra jest kompletnie niegrywalna. Nie oceniam fabuły i innych rzeczy, ponieważ jest to niemożliwe przez bugi, spadki fps i niską jakość grafiki. Dopóki gra nie zostanie naprawiona moja ocena będzie wynosić 0/10.

    I bought this game to play it with my father. I was very excited to play it with him, I get to see my dad rarely and I wanted to have a good time with him around a game, and that's why I decided to pay it's materialized version to make sure we wouldn't have to wait longer than three the setup time and data pack installment. I shouldn't have trusted that.    I can't believe I'm writing this.

So I guess Frick people with no internet connection, right? Here we are waiting 50 hours to play a stupid game we bought physically to avoid this kind of problem, knowing my connection was shifty here. That's completely shameful. I won't come back and change my review even if this is the best game of my life. **** this kind of tactics, If your game isn't playable enough without an update, just don't release it.    … Expand

    Absolutely loving the game! Great story line and characters, amazing futuristic open world to explore and plenty of content and character customisation. Can't wait to play it again on the next gen console to get the full visual experience

The story is incredible, with ample world-building weaved throughout the main and side quests; what's so cool about the world that they've created, is that it's so derivative of our own social and political cultures.     The gameplay mechanics are very engaging. Combat is really fun, and filled with viable choices for specialization. Interesting quest mechanics really help mitigate the feeling I have in most modern RPGs of dot-chasing: in games like outerworlds or Skyrim, I hate feeling like the game is a sequence of dots to be lead around by like a dog.

    There are bugs. On PS5, they are very very far from game-breaking. They are usually cosmetic, and mostly non-distracting.    … Expand

    Save data damaged and get corrupted.... Not collecting... Crafting.... A bunch of items? What I am suppose to do w an RPG..... After 2 days of this news... No response from CPR.... Are u kidding?.... What next?.... I was ****up w the game.. And lost my money.... I am really sorry for the investors.....They have lost tons of money on this crap.... Do not buy this game... Wait.....the next 57 years

    Under the tons of bugs, glitches and console crashes there's an entertaining world and game, not as futuristic or as revolutionary as I thought though.

    Someday this will be a good and entertaining game to play, but not today.
    As far as RPG's go this one really missed the mark.

    There are bugs and still some crashes to be fixed. Generally I don't think it should have been released yet however, the story , gameplay and look of the world (after adjusting some settings) are amazing. With more patches coming I would suggest waiting until February when the rough edges are hopefully smoothed out and you can enjoy all this game has to offer.     I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
