    I am reviewing the PS5 version aka the PS4 backwards compatible edition.

    Game is absolutely terrible. Not just speaking about bugs, technical issues, and constant crashing.. but the game itself is just not fun. Core mechanics do not work properly, typical sneak/tailing missions, artificial information gathering, false sense of choices mattering. It's simply a scam. The literally lied on    I am reviewing the PS5 version aka the PS4 backwards compatible edition.

Core mechanics do not work properly, typical sneak/tailing missions, artificial information gathering, false sense of choices mattering. It's simply a scam. The literally lied on soo many aspects.

    At the time of writing this review, Sony has began offering full refunds and remove Cyberpunk from the store. Signaling the fact that CDPR lied, and betrayed all of its consumers. I will be getting my money back, unfortunately not my time. Do not buy this game now, or ever, for the simple fact that they only did what was necessary for sales.    … Expand

    This is a true diamond of a game, with a few rough edges, there has already been a bug noticeable improvement from 1.03 to 1.04. it upsets me that gamers are so entitled these days, it seems to most games are either epic or trash nothing in-between, take from someone who has actually updated the game before playing and put more than 30 mins into it. There is a truly amazing game here,This is a true diamond of a game, with a few rough edges, there has already been a bug noticeable improvement from 1.03 to 1.04. it upsets me that gamers are so entitled these days, it seems to most games are either epic or trash nothing in-between, take from someone who has actually updated the game before playing and put more than 30 mins into it.     Game crashes,even on ps4 pro frame rate can drop to 15 fps and they showed all the demos on PC,when they were making this game in 2013/2014/2015/2016/2017/2018/2019 there was no ps5 or xsx. The teaser trailer CDPR made us think the capability of next gen in 2013 and even in 2016 with the release of PS4 Pro we didnt have games with the kind of graphics that they showed us in the teaserGame crashes,even on ps4 pro frame rate can drop to 15 fps and they showed all the demos on PC,when they were making this game in 2013/2014/2015/2016/2017/2018/2019 there was no ps5 or xsx.     Playing on the PS5 the game started out well but after the introduction I quickly realized how unfinished and unpolished the game was. I had enough crashes and distracting bugs to disappoint me completely but I have a larger gripe, the level of filth! I like enjoy the opposite sex but the filth in this game is jarring. Its just so nasty on top of the bugs and idiot A.I and spawning copsPlaying on the PS5 the game started out well but after the introduction I quickly realized how unfinished and unpolished the game was. Sure, the occasional crashes, bugs, and frame-rate drops grew tedious, but nothing stole from my immense enjoyment of the game. If this is but a taste of what CD Projekt Red have in store for us as a growingEveryone's experiences with Cyberpunk 2077 have been different, flavored by their expectations and firmly held beliefs. My time spent in Night City has been, in a word, stellar. Sure, the occasional crashes, bugs, and frame-rate drops grew tedious, but nothing stole from my immense enjoyment of the game. If this is but a taste of what CD Projekt Red have in store for us as a growing developer, then I think everyone had better settle down. I guarantee CD Projekt Red will tamper with this game until it's perfect. I may not agree with the developer on several philosophical notes, but they are a hard-working game studio that puts out quality content.

    Some notes:

    A few game systems are completely superfluous. I never engaged the crafting system during my playthrough.

    The writing was hit and miss. All the "uhms," "errs," and "uhhs" used to recreate ordinary speech patterns only highlighted the weak dialogue. It surprised me to find typos in a few shards. Over-reliance on shock to carry narratives sometimes weakened the stories. So many characters committed suicide that it quickly became melodramatic. Touchy subject matter is best given its proper due, not only to respect those with close personal experiences, but to give the material weight. This juvenile tendency also jumped out in the preponderance of sex-related humor. Granted (as relayed to us by The Exploited) the punk aesthetic nurses sex and violence, the game tried so hard to be "adult" that it veered right back into juvenile. All that said, many of the stories were well-crafted with engaging characters, and they explored gritty subject matter many games avoid. Uncovering the dirty underbelly below the neon lights is key to the cyberpunk ethos. This the writers nailed.

    Don't let the bad reviews scare you: This is a quality game, and if you can stomach Bethesda's buggy titles, this one will easily blow you away. As of now, it's a 7 due to the myriad technical issues plaguing the last-gen console version.    … Expand

    Dont listen negative coments. Just cry babies. The game is playable. U can play 5h whitout any problem. I played in all consoles. No problem. Broke people basically in this area section. Enjoy the GAME!

    Had the game glitch once or twice. Running it on a PS4 Pro. Other than that the game plays great. Think a lot of the poor reviews are a bit hasty. Give CD Projeck Red some time. The game is huge and will soon be running even better.

I Just Love everything about it and Hope that everything settles between Sony and CD Projekt Red. Because it hurts, Reading that Cyberpunk 2077 is getting put down from the store.     I'm on a base PS4. 1.04 improved things but the scripting that progresses most side stories is broken. It's no exaggeration to call this release worse than Fallout 76.

    I honestly enjoy the game a lot on playstation 4 granted yes it's extremely buggy, yes it's hard to play the game without the crashes, the pressure was on for CDPR on this game the world over hyped it, but because of the over hyping it was going to financially fail. Besides the whole visual, audio glitches and even the dialogue glitches, and crashes..... I mean this was bad enough that Sony pulled the entire game from the store at the time of writing this. I am almost certain that has never once happened before.     Although I am experiencing less problems with the game than some of my friends since I’m playing on a PS5, the game still frequently crashes and has numerous bugs that are completely unacceptable.     The gameplay itself is nothing to brag about either. The idea that your choices would significantly impact events was overly hyped. Starting as a Nomad, for example, I’m occasionally given some additional dialog options based on that, but they don’t actually push the conversation forward. No matter what, I still have to select the single yellow line of text that allows for the prescripted event to keep flowing. If you wanna play an FPS RPG for the PS4, you seem better off playing something like Fallout 4 or The Outer Worlds.

    Other systems that were implemented also drastically fail to meet their mark. The wanted system for committing crimes is a cheap knock off of the system in GTA that doesn’t even work right. Police will literally magically appear behind you, even if there’s nowhere for them to come from, so either the NCPD are all equipped with teleporters and tracking devices, or that’s not right.

    Additionally, NPCs all act exactly the same way to everything. If you fire a gun, be prepared to see every single NPC cowering in fear, even if they weren’t in an area nearby you when there was shooting. If you try to stop a crime that’s occurring where people are around, even after killing the criminals and putting your gun away, they won’t change their pose either.

    You could literally go on and on about all of the issues this game has and still point out more. In its current state, I would give it a 6 or 7/10, but with all the bugs, I’m giving it a 4. Save yourself the time, and play something else. I’m personally shelving it, and I’ll wait to see if they make improvements. If they do, I’ll give it another try.    … Expand

    Vith recent update it is possible to play vithout a crash every 10 min, but that is the extent of the positive changes. The voice acting and story seems great, but I simply cant force myself to play through it due to terrible bugs, broken AI, god awful graphics, poor gunplay, frame drops and many many more problems.     The game has a good story and a good map but the game is unplayable . The amount of bugs in the game makes you want to puke and throw the game in the garbage . The frame rate is a disaster that has never ever been seen before I was getting 10 to 20 fbs .

    I played it on PC with RTX2080 and had great 60+ hours of play, still need to see two endings and a lot side quest before it.
    People expected GTA or somthing but i did not and just enjoy the game. Yes there bugs, and i just restart the game 1-2 times durring a play.

    AC Valhalla was more of an RPG than this ****

    I'm a fan of this studio since the first Witcher but after this game and Todd Howard level of lies and deceptions from trash, I'm done with them. Hell will freeze before I touch or preorder anything off this garbage studio ever again.

    Lazy, unspiring, bland, **** mediocre.

    Garbage on the ps4, the visuals are such an eyesore I can't enjoy it. Shame on PCDR for trying to cover up what a pile of filth this was. Asking for a refund, runs wayyyyyyyy better on my PC.

    Huge work has been done and bugs and optimizations are not as goos as it should be on release at PS Pro but overall it is awesome game with a great story and huge amount of details.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is an incredible game, even with all its technical problems of launching the game is capable of producing an immersive and unique experience like no other game produced so far, with time and due corrections Cyber​punk 2077 will become one of best games of the last generation of console.

    i'm enjoying a lot so far, i have seen a few bugs and glitches but nothing that would stop me from playing the game or enjoying itI have experienced multiple crashes and bugs (nothing game braking but generally annoying).

    Any product that DOES NOT WORK properly on day 1 of its release is unacceptable. This is the problem with a lot of AAA modern games in general these days (looking at you No Man's Sky and Fallout 76). Cyberpunk gets a 0/10 until the game is actually playable. It isn't too much to ask for my $60 PS4 game to not look like a PS2 game.

If you a oldschool gamer you dont think that this problems are so terrible i mean look after Gothic 3 this was more terrible but a game with charakter

    licząc na poklask od innych,
    umie CD Projekt gry robić,
    każdy to wie,
    gdzie tam tej grze do GTA,

    To be honest I was worried bout the bugs, glitches and kinda typical non-fabular quests but after my first experience with Cyberpunk I realized how good it is. I admire whole main plot, world creation etc. My rating is based on game in December so I’m still waiting for January patch. I hope maybe some improvements are going to get better my judgement

    When it comes to technical fidelity playing on the PS4 this is certainly no masterclass. I have experienced multiple crashes and bugs (nothing game braking but generally annoying). The frame drops and graphical glitches are the most painful because once you slow your car down and give everything a chance to render the world is stunning. (At least that's my plan once I pick up a PS5). I wouldn't recommend picking this up in 2020 unless you are really keen on the story telling aspects but would definitely consider revisiting once CD Projekt Red have had a chance to patch the game a bit… Expand

    Yes, I've seen some bugs but no terrible one maybe because I'm playing on PS4 Pro? Seen blue screen twice. Game has amazing climate, so many additional features, it looks satisfying on 4k tv - whatever resolution I've got. It's harder than many others and because of that more interesting. Although not designed specifically for pad. Playing everyday means something?

    I started out enjoying the game despite the bugs. Honestly this game should probably not have been released for PS4 in this state and I feel duped. But the game needs real polish beyond the bugs. The biggest things are just really poor AI. Like it’s not good. A gunshot goes off and nods don’t run they just cower in fear forever. The enemy AI is also poor and enemies from different factionsI started out enjoying the game despite the bugs.     Absolute **** garbage of a game. 8 years in the work for this is just depressing. The game is empty, just a hollow shell infested with bugs and terrible fps paired with terrible graphics. So many promises made none actually achieved.

    J’ai essayé d’aimer le jeu , après environs 7 heures , j’ai bien vue que le jeu était complètement brisé. On dirait un jeu de ps3 remplis de bugs. Honnêtement, j’ai l’impression de m’avoir fait volé 90$. Et sony refuse de me rembourser. Prochaine fois je vais me méfier de cette compagnie

I simply cannot be immersed into this games world for more than 10 minutes before something inevitably happens that takes me out of it.     The skill tree has not impressed me and for the most part I go around with several levels and points to add but dont because many of the options seem like they just dont do much..
    The inventory system is well annoying. There are so many different screens to look at your inventory and to mod or breakdown weapons and clothes that I find my self hopping around so much just to mod or upgrade or change a weapon im holding.. Its frustrating in the least.

    I didnt spend too much time in the character creator thinking well this is Cyberpunk ill get to change my hair or mod my appearance or add cybernetics to my face later right... Well no you cant any of it your stuck with what you made..

    Same for cars no customization... Same for weapons I thought maybe paint jobs etc.. .Nope..

    But it is fun the story is thrilling at times and makes me feel immersed. All the loot is just so fun when you find something cool. The world is pretty and I love just walking around..

    Gun play Melee and stealth mechanics are all kind of clunky...

    The difficulty and leveling of certain encounters can be from too easy to too difficult on the same street. I often got frustrated at some of the difficulty thrown at when on easy even not understanding that random encounters on the street are leveled and you shouldnt be engaging every encounter which breaks immersion.

    I am still very addicted to playing the game but not sure how long it will last.. As I find my heart broken on what I thought I would get just time after time not being there.

    I now question what did I expect was it really realistic did CD Project Red want the game to be too much and didnt deliver on any one thing completely.

All of the textures drop out when in populated areas. NPCs pop into existence and the frame rat falls through the floor.     After playing for a few hours, I'm really liking the art design and feel of the game. You can change the default "film grain" to off in the settings, and you'll notice a remarkable upscaling to a very fine colorful finish. I needed to restart one mission to get out a bug, but after that no issues. A great game and will only get better. Played a base PS4. Dont worry about it, enjoy the game.. :)

    What a disappointment! Deceitful marketing and false promises for a game that is not only unfinished and full of bugs - but ugly and unplayable on the PlayStation 4. Shame on the developers/publishers for misleading their audience and scamming the players into buying a game for full price, that is still in beta status at best.

    Absolutely fantastic game on PS4 Pro after the 1.04 patch. No crashes in 20 hours, graphics and framerates are fine and exceed what I expected to squeeze out of my trusty PS4. I don't understand how CDPR is getting so much heat for releasing a briliant game.

We have all been lied to and deceived for years with misleading game footage and boasting by the company.     This game is amazing. Excellent graphics, complex build, very good npc, great mechanics! And I'm not exaggerating. CD Projekt Red did a great job with Cyberpunk 2077. Are there any bugs? yes, but none got in the way. And it was warned that xbox one and ps4 would be in trouble, but an update would soon follow. And that was done. I have nothing to complain about.

    Currently unplayable on PS4. Frames often drop below 20, textures and animations often don't load in properly. The visuals are absolute garbage, the worst I've seen on PS4. The gameplay feels very glitchy with poor AI. The world itself feels interesting, but hard to explore when the performance is so terrible.

    I haven’t experienced any major bugs just small ones like the jacket appearing first after the patch is ripped off, hair not appearing when looking in mirror and other minor things like that.

    Game only crashed 2 times in 10H of playtime.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
