    Broken animations, low FPS, crashing every 2h. Great story, interesting NPC's. One of the best crafting and skill tree.

    Game is broken and unplayable a. They've never shown the ps4 footages. CDPR lied to gamers, I don't think I will ever buy a game from them. CDPR's business ethics and their attitude towards console players is absolutely disgusting.

    Despite all the performance issues and crashes, I’m enjoying the game. Not trying to justify CDPR for their past-gen release fail tho.. and I hope they’ll make it more playable for good picture lovers. For those who value a good story at first place I’d definitely recommend this game. (As an example, I’ve completed ffvii multiple times, released on 97)

    I have this for both Pc and PS4 and I have to say don't bother with the PS4.
    What I could play before my OG Ps4 started to practice flying was a slow, buggy, untextured mess.
    This is unacceptable, but in all honesty this is what I expected. Do not buy this for now, hopefully they will patch the game soon.
    Will also review the Pc version when I have the time, but it is better actually works.

I didn't expect groundbreaking performances on a system that is seven years old. With that said, I did expect to play a game that was somewhat playable. I realize bugs are a part of any new release, but wow, there were and are tons in Cyberpunk 2077 for PS4.

    It's a wannabe Grand Theft Auto in the sense of an open world. NPC's walking to-and-fro, carjacking random cars and having an all out shootout with the police. It fails on every facet if you even try to compare it to GTA V.

    The NPC's are lifeless. They disappear the moment you are no longer looking at them. Vehicles fizzle in and out in front of your eyes, you'll see replicas of the same vehicle all over the place.

    The city is a ghost town in most areas. The wanted system is a joke. The Police spawn right next to you ala Grand Theft Auto Vice City. In GTA V at least they used some intelligence to try and find you. You could shake them off and not have 50 of them appear next to you in a split second.

    The blurriness is absurd, the excessive tearing, the god awful FPS... this game is an absolute nightmare from top to bottom.

    This is the first time in my life that I've ever gotten money back for a digital purchase of a game. The game is so awful in terms of bugs, fun factor... it's a lifeless, soulless husk of a game. Big ambitions with little substance and zero delivery.

    Worst game of 2020 as far as I'm concerned. I even tried it on PC... still an awful mess. Horrible game even with no bugs and crashes. Save your money for GTA VI that'll come out in half a decade from now.    … Expand

Graphical issues, low population density, texture loading, NPC disappearing, low resolution, mission problems, horrible lighting issues, controller problems, changing view in vehicles is hit and miss, sometimes it works but most of the time I have to stop the car, wait for the world to load in around me then the view will change. The story is great, the characters are great, theBugs.     Wszystko mi śmiga na 3080 i 5900x. Giera jest super. T-pose jest już kultowe i raz zabiły mnie śmieci kiedy się o nie potknąłem. Mi się podoba !

    A tak na poważnie to co wolicie ? Poważną fabułę z bugami - czy infantylną od Ubi... też z bugami... ?

    Let's be real it's not a game at the moment. It's a string of crashes and disappointment. The constant blue screens are inexcusable that the developers clearly didn't care about it's last gen audience when making the game. Make this a working product and then it will receive the reviews it deserves

I haven’t dipped below 65 FPS with graphics maxed at 1080p, not even during intense combat. Only complaint is the driving doesn’t feel(I am on PC, my opinions are not relevant to the console version, that is an entirely different game as far as I’m concerned) This game is absolutely gorgeous, I have spent about half an hour just staring at reflections and textures, it looks phenomenal.     The game released on the Playstation 4.

    It cost a full AAA game price.

    This was my preferred way of playing it.

    It is broken and unplayable, to the point where I don't want to continue trying to play it because I'm making a disservice to the great story and mechanics.

    Should it have been released on PS4/XB1?

    Probably not. But it is. And it should be better.

    I played on PS5. Really good with loading the map, lots of bug. With the graphics at first you notice it's not really good but with time your eye adapts to the old graphics. A lot of random crashes, sometimes even when you are driving. The main story is really interesting and the side missions are really good. I really hope with the next updates it will get better.     Very bad experience in ps4, 720p less than 30 FPS. Luckily I got a ps5 so it’s play able. But there’s so many bugs. Crashed every hour can’t believe spend 60 bucks on this

    The game is fantastic and well worth getting, the story is great the characters are interesting and gameplay is fun and challenging

    Don't listen to the haters 90% of them don't even own the game and they are just **** that everyone likes this game and we aren't focused on the crap they play.

    I've played 40hrs so far so I know what I'm talking about.

Don't buy pc version if your ps4 experience sucks, otherwise you will fall into the CDPR's trap of paying 120 dollars for a very bad gaming experience.     I Dreamt of a game like shadow run for the longest timer and here we with cyberpunk. A game like shadowrun but in 3d this game is amazing anf i love it.

    "Let down of the year!" and that's coming from the year 2020 so it's saying a lot. This game is nothing it was promised to be 8yrs ago. Buggy, glitchy, crashing, hot mess of a game. It trys to be a bunch of things at once and misses the mark on all of them. The only thing I'll give this game credit for is the cityscape and the way it looks and feels. I want my money back yesterday!

    I tried to enjoy playing it through all the bugs, and glitches and I tried to look past other things and just have fun. The problem is their are multiple quest like Tapeworm which are glitched to the point where you can complete the game. They say they have fixed problems with patches but most of the problems are still in the game now making it unplayable.

Dont Browne these stupid scores, the game will be patched up and underneath this is an excellent game that is easily GOTY quality.

    O jogo tinha potencial, mas os bugs, crashes, queda de fps, o tornam impossível de jogar no console. Por 5 anos eu não comprava jogo na pre-venda, quebrei essa regra com o cyberpunk e foi a última vez. E quanto a comprar algum jogo da cd projekt? Só se for em uma promoção de pelo menos 90% e depois de uns 2 anos. Infelizmente, não confio mais nessa empresa.

    This is for all Devs… as a gamer I can understand delays, even multiple delays. What I cannot understand is when you launch a game that is not ready or is only half (if that) of what you promised.
    Here is an idea… how about never setting a date until you are in Beta or the polish stage of development. Up until that point you can just say “Coming Soon!”

    Stop listening to Investors that their only game experience is having played Galaga or Pac-man because it was in their college dorm rec room. (BTW I love Galaga and Pac-man).

    The substance of this game is really compelling as there are some amazing stories being told here. The themes, gameplay and open-world is top-notch. What really lets this game down is its piss poor performance on the Ps4. Its really unacceptable especially coming from a company like CD- Project Red.

The fact that Sony allowed this game to ship in its current state is reprehensible and shady business practices. DO NOT BUY. SONY WILL NOT REFUND YOU. Will never buy anything from CD Projekt Red again.

Don't bother with cars, they don't handle well at all, and don't bother driving ANYTHING in first person because it is SO disorienting and difficult and annoying. Motorcycles are the only vehicles that work. The game has crashed on me, A LOT. I've had glitches happen that haven't been fixable by restarting/reloading my last save. I've had to go back at least 40 minutes of gameplay multiple times just to get rid of a persistent bug like Rogue showing up in my apartment when I called her on the phone and not disappearing no matter how many times I restarted the game. I've played over 40 hours so far so this isnt just a first impression either.
    It's frustrating that such an otherwise fantastic and immersive game was released so broken for the platform it was originally intended to release on. The negativity and anger is directed at the management and executives at CDPR for deliberately hiding ps4 gameplay because they feared it would hurt their day one sales, which is so messed up. I bought the game on pre order over a year ago. and now I feel like a damn fool to be honest. I will have to actually spend thousands of dollars to buy parts and build a high functioning PC in order to play this game properly which tell take me more time and money than I could ever dream of having to make this game work the way it should.
    Don't get mad at the Devs, story designers or artists. This isn't the fault of those who put in so much time and hard work and love into this game over the years. The game when it works is phenomenal. It's immersive, the characters and relationships feel real, the story is exciting, Keanu Reeves' performance is fantastic and compelling, etc. This is really a management and executive issue and CDPR needs to be held accountable as a company for this level of deceit and the way they actually treated their employees. Forced crunches and six day weeks and the threat of withholding bonuses if the game didn't get over 90% is downright unethical and unfair.
    I don't recommend playing this game on console. It's a frustrating, heartbreaking, and disappointing experience. Don't know how it plays on the next gen consoles, but from what I've watched and read and experienced, it seems like the game performs at its best on a high graphics high functioning PC, which honestly sucks as it alienates lower income players who cant afford to drop thousands of dollars on a PC that will run this monster of a ~120GB game.
    I really hope CDPR gets its **** together and starts listening to its fans and treating its employees well. It's evident that so much hard work and love and thought went into creating this marvelous game and it's unfair that so many people's experience has been incredibly tainted by this absolute mess of a release on last gen consoles.    … Expand

    Other than the frequent glitches and bugs it's a fun game. The game crashes on me at least twice a day. It's a shame, with the gameplay and story I am enjoying the game. However with the constant glitches and bugs it makes the game unplayable at point. Let's just say this game needed a lot more work.

    The Game has so match bugs and the graphic is also bad but with the 1.04 patch the game is a little better. The gameplay, the World of Night City and the Story is so special and so good. That's why I give 8 and not 10.

    I feel sorry for every fellow Witcher fan to see its devs getting this low on quality and every other aspect. This game is unplayable and you have to at least wait for years before getting to play it normally. RIP CDPR.

    Last night I tried to play and just had to quit playing altogether. In the span of less than an hour I crashed once, ran into two game ending bugs and several other minor bugs.

    The first major bug was an enemy breakdancing and moving at extraordinary speed around the screen while shooting me with a machine gun. He killed me pretty much right away, but even after reloading he still had the same behavior. The only workaround was to stealth in and take him out first before dealing with the other enemies.

    The second major bug is related to the police. I was walking down the street, minding my own business. I go to turn into an alley and then start getting shot at. The police were a good 40-50 yards from me, but were shooting at me. For no reason! I was literally just walking down an alley and got killed for no reason. The AI in this game is so obviously broken.

    The crash last night occurred while accessing the fast travel terminal, which seems to be a common crash point for me within the game. I have crashed at least 3 times at the fast travel terminal.

    I had really high hopes for this game. I can look beyond some missing features and minor bugs to an extent. But the constant crashing, horrendous AI, and major bugs that often result in death are laughable. If I didn't have the collector's edition, I would be definitely be getting a refund because the game is not playable on any version of Sony consoles. CDPR should be ashamed. Oh well, I got a nice statue and art book at least.    … Expand

CPDR knew it looked like this and released it anyway, along with false advertising for how it was supposed to look on PS4. An absolute failure and an unethical move by CDPR.     I am playing on a base console. I would suggest either using a top end pc or not getting the game at all. I reached out to cdpr for a refund request and have yet to hear back. The game is unplayable. Cdpr are liars and theives. Do not waste your money please. I am giving 2 points, 1 for the semi interesting story and 1 for the character panam.

    This game is an abomination. I don't even know if I should even call it a game. The story isn't bad and neither are the characters, they're actually great. But this is the buggiest game I've ever played. DO NOT BUY THIS ON PS4. I would give it a higher score of CDPR weren't this scummy.

    Marketing for the game was great. The hype was there and even the intro came of as strong if you could forgive the graphics not being what you saw in the videos. But it ought to be fraud to take money for something this broken. CDPR is helping you with refunds and I think you should all take that chance and try again on a later console and version. It is going to be a hassle but please endure. If greed had not forced it to release on these consoles and instead had focused on next-gen, we wouldn't be in this mess..    … Expand

    3 crashes in 3 hours playing the game, fps drops while driving or runing in the open world, bugs in general like the memes. Althoug i'm enjoying the experience and hope cd project red improve the game performance.     I really like it. Best game this year. Yeah theres bugs and a couple of crashes but its the most ambitious project ive seen a company take on. I havent put it down yet. The missions are great. Get real Deus ex vibes with a little gta.

The game is not perfect with bugs or without bugs but it is still one of the highlights of the year, as far as it has gameplay it does not innovate or stand out from others but as far as its world is incredible, all the detail on the map is simply beautiful.
    Of course, the performance of the game is bad without mincing words but when you get used to the game it is totally worth it.

It is simply dishonest to say the game is unplayable and give it a zero. The story is absolutely beautiful and I got really invested in several characters along my play through. Yes there are a bunch of bugs and the game has crashed more times than I can count on my base ps4 however after finishing the game its absolutely incredible. The Frame rate needs to be fixed asap. I have faith in CDPR to fix the glaring issues on last gen.… Expand

    I made an account so I could tell people just how much I don't recommend this game on the ps4. I constantly get crashes, glitches and fps drops. The game has a nice story and great side quests. But when it comes to gameplay there are a few problems. I mean the gun combat is ok but the melee combat needs some work. Overall I don't recommend the game for the current price on consoles.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
