    Great detailed city with a dark atmosphere Good written story with interesting side quest and easter eggs Bad things: Worst controller aim assist The driving mechanics could be much better (gear shifting audio is broken) No customization options (for V and his properties) Bad NPC and Police AI (you know what they can and CANT do) ---> even old games like gta san    Good things:

    Many artifacts of the development state of the game, like the unfinished subway system and the police chasing bug. Shows that the game was pushed to released in a very unaccabtable state.

    All in all Night City is a dead city were the bugs feel more alive then the inhabits theirself.
    Greatest disappointment of the year especially because the game was advertised as a next gen open world were you can be who you are and have endless possibilities. I dont even understand the metacritic for the PC version... OK the graphics are better and the performance too but CDPR didnt delivered the immersive experience everyone was hyped uped about until the end of 2020.

    PS: CDPR's managers done a great job in scamming the whole console community and using our hopes and enthusiasm for their own interest of money. Epologies wont be excepted they knew what they were doing... 2020 worst year in my live UNTIL NOW    … Expand

    Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this game. It doesn’t worth our time at all. The game is broken as hell, has the most stupid AI ever, outdated graphics, very week and old game mechanics. A total mess and complete disaster. Did I mention the game has no new idea whatsoever?
    I have to confess I played only about 7 hours, but these are 7 hours I will never get back...

    People are angry about this game but it's not nearly as buggy or awful as FO76 was. I am loving it and have had very few bugs.

    This is one of the best games I have ever played, I couldn't wait to come back from work every day to play it, it is so addictive and the story is great. I didn't have any major technical problems but I was playing on PS5.

    One of the worst triple AAA titles I've ever played on any platform. The story and characters are ok or good or whatever, game play is interesting, system well implemented... But it's just unplayable most of the time, let's hope big patches solve most of the problems since it could be a pretty good game as in PC

    I can't speak for everyone's experience, and I understand why many people are displeased with the games performance. Yet, I can only speak for my own experience with the game.

    The game is a buggy mess, and it is obvious it needed to be delayed for another 4-5 months.     The game is a buggy mess, and it is obvious it needed to be delayed for another 4-5 months. I honestly feel corporate was scared to push the game to the fiscal year, and overestimated their developers could pushout during the pandemic. I play on a base PS4 yet I'm lucky that I have two bugs, pop-in (not a deal breaker for me) and crashes(highly annoying especially the moment after defeating the final boss of the game).

    However, I believe that the game has the potential to be one of the best masterpieces in a long time. I really appreciate the narrative of the game. I understand many are displeased with it, but again I am testifying to my own experience with the game. From the choices and dialogue choices I made, the story of the game ensnared me into its narrative web. I feel the characters are well written with their own motivations that might not make since to the other characters, but I can see why they act the way they do. I appreciate the relationships that the game forms. The one I appreciate the most is V's and Johnny Silverhand's. How I personally played the game their is so much growth between these two characters, and I actually thought Keanu Reeves did a good job playing Johnny. Depending on what games come out this year I do actually believe that Keanu and the voice actors that played Rogue and Male V could be nominated for game of the year awards.

    Gameplay is what comes next for me. I really do like the combat of the game. You start off awkward and clunky. This is slowly overcome as you progress through the game. As you level up throughout the game the skills will feel more natural. Driving is the same way. The first vehicles are awful, and it is easy to blame poor game design for this. However, it driving gets much better as you attain better vehicles. Also an important thing to remember is that not to mash down on the acceleration. Of course you aren't going to make a 90 degree turn going over 120 mph. The Ai of the game is pretty hit or miss for me. I have ridden with npc that have demolished other cars and run over pedestrians that didn't get out the way. During combat, some enemies are incredibly dumb and just stand there. However, some will actually take cover. And once every blue moon, I will be surprised as an enemy runs around a block or into a build only to come from behind to flush me out of where I'm camping. Or even just straight up rush me to force me out of my cover.

    Overall, I give the game an 8/10 for a strong narrative, amazing characters, and engaging gameplay. I can't give the game a 10/10 because of the bugs that can interfere and detract from the game. I feel that future dlc's and patches will further improve the game, and at that time, I will be happily give the game a higher score. Again this my own opinion of the game I encourage y'all to play the game and form your own.    … Expand

I’ve experienced multiple glitches including textures not rendering, object pop-in, characters moving through doors, walls and floor, audio glitches, graphics errors that stay frozen in the middle of my screen, floating objects, AI enemy freezing, etc. I’m playing on a PS5 with all current updates andThey rushed to sell an unfinished game before Christmas to make that sweet holiday cash.     Игра мне очень понравилась, хоть у нее не маленький провал в оптимизации, но сюжет, побочные квесты, графика, саундтрек, кастомизация персонажа, взлом чело-либо мне очень понравились, кол-во модификаций персонажа очень впечатляет, боевка просто крышесносная, не было момента чтобы мне было скучно, вообще не жалко денег которые я на нее потратил. Очень жду большого патча, который долженИгра мне очень понравилась, хоть у нее не маленький провал в оптимизации, но сюжет, побочные квесты, графика, саундтрек, кастомизация персонажа, взлом чело-либо мне очень понравились, кол-во модификаций персонажа очень впечатляет, боевка просто крышесносная, не было момента чтобы мне было скучно, вообще не жалко денег которые я на нее потратил.     Having perservered to the end credits, I can honestly say this game is very poor. "The generations crowning achievement" is unremarkable in gameplay, story and open world, none of which stand out compared to the dozens of other high quality games released in 2020.     The games many promised features are simply not present at launch, and together with many glitches and bugs, and poor sound design (complete silence for many sound effects, even in main story missions) the game has released unfinished. My own experience had the game crash every 90 minutes, and a glitch caused the game to softlock every time i used my phone.

    The positives are the voice acting, Keanu Reeves and the soundtrack. The main story missions are fine but frankly the whole experience is soured by the feeling of being lied to by the developers and publishers.
    I do not reccomend a purchase of this game, however i feel like it's far too late for that advice, as the hype and false advertising surrounding release has meant very high sale numbers. This game leaves me with genuine feelings of sadness towards everyone involved, as its clear a lot of creative energy went into the project. I intend to refund the game, uninstall, return and then never think about it again. There are enough depressing things in the world without adding shoddy video games to the list.    … Expand

It is clear as a sun shiny day that they opted to focus on the high spec PC version. But money speaks louder and they were pressured to release it anyway. However, it is even more concerning the fact that the game itself feels extremely dated. Many other games do a much better job than this one. Even older games such as Deus Ex are better games overall (balancing graphics, game play, and pure and simple enjoyment) than CP77. So, I don't think this will be a very pleasurable game to play if you are used to high quality games such as Ubisofts AC series. Even WD Legion is more enjoyable overall and has a similar edgy futuristic feel. Perhaps I am being too harsh on CP77. Since I couldn't even play more than 3 hours of the game. But how could I? The missions system and maps are confusing. The lore is confusing, the game feels dated, the aiming and shooting system is awful and clunky. The way enemies and NPCs act is weird and artificial. The game in its current state has many problems that go beyond the mere bugs and graphics issues people are focusing on. (I was able to play for 3 h because I ran the ps4 version on PS5. I am sickened by the publics treatment of CDPR, I play on a ps4 Pro and it isn't nearly as bad as all the whiney babies make it seem, buy it and enjoy it like me!! end of story - do not however listen to anyone who is complaining about it not running on 7+ year old consoles lol... Anyone with even a lick of intelligence and good taste can see that CDPR poured their hearts into this game., the effort SHOULD grant them many brownie points from anyone with a heart and good taste.. There were a few things promised that I hope they either add later(in a dlc or expansion, etc), or at least have good reasons for not including - like the DRONE you use during the heist, that little bugger was SUPPOSED to be available throughout the game. Which would have enabled V to be a "Rigger" character class type (a character class from the Shadowrun game universe, they control Drones with a Cyberware implant in their brains) it would have been awesome to have a bot that could go through vents and stuff and even take out a few enemies.. but alas its not included and I am not a cry baby, it is what it is, I didn't get drones but I got a sick game that I waited for, for many years and here it is! It was the best Christmas gift I got this year (from myself lol)

    However it may not play on base consoles very well (which is the risk YOU CHOOSE TO TAKE by not upgrading ancient systems lol)...    … Expand

    Después de terminar de juego puedo decir que la historia principal es muy interesante y muy bien ambientada, aunque puedo decir que dura menos de lo que yo hubiera querido, me gusta que las misiones no se hacen tan repetitivas como hacerse tediosas, las misiones secundarias al igual que las principales me parecieron muy interesantes debido a que te dan la oportunidad de conocer a losDespués de terminar de juego puedo decir que la historia principal es muy interesante y muy bien ambientada, aunque puedo decir que dura menos de lo que yo hubiera querido, me gusta que las misiones no se hacen tan repetitivas como hacerse tediosas, las misiones secundarias al igual que las principales me parecieron muy interesantes debido a que te dan la oportunidad de conocer a los personajes secundarios a más profundidad y poder encariñarte con ellos, en el apartado sonoro puedo decir que uno de los puntos más fuertes del título porque tanto la música que escuchas en carro, como la música de fondo en algunas misiones o las que se escucha durante algunas escenas con Jonny me parecen muy acertadas y que ayudan a crear una ambientación mejor, ahora en el apartado artístico al menos en la versión de PlayStation 4 que jugue no me parece nada del otro mundo, tal vez porque faltó pulirse, pero cumple con su propósito de crear una ciudad variada con distintas culturas, ya en el apartado técnico que yo pude apreciar desde la versión 1.02 a la 1.06, puedo decir que en apartado de fps se a mejorado intentando que vaya un poco más estable pero aún hay trabajo que hacer ahí porque aun va a tirones, en apartado de bugs o glitches, ahí es donde queda mas trabajo que hacer porque aun hay muchos que si te puede llegar a afectar tu experiencia al jugar, al igual que los crasheos, de todo lo que he jugado, se me ha crasheado unas 6 veces. Como RPG este titulo es bueno pero con mucho trabajo que hacer en las consolas de antigua generación, como el juego que cambiaría la forma de hacer juegos, como el juego más importante, la verdad que no, es un juego que puedo decir que no hace nada extraordinario debido a que toma otros elementos de otros juegos que ya lo establecieron y a la vez una continuación de creación de niveles o desarrollo de personajes ya establecidos por ellos mismos en The Witcher 3, por lo que espero que se arregle este titulo y no quede en el olvido.… Expand

    Crashes every 30 mins even after numerous updates. Graphics are poor, game is filled with bugs which hinder progress and destroy immersion. Combat is clunky and horrendous. NPC AI is laughable. Night city is a huge let down, corners have been cut everywhere. Overall, a major let down and fail of a game.

I’m currently playing Witcher 3 and loving it. So, I was waiting for Cyberpunk for nearly 5 years, i love dystopian futures and science fiction stories and was really attracted to the idea of a corrupted futuristic city. So, with so much hype I bought the game on launch day and played it immediately. At first, I really liked the game, I really liked the world and despite some minor technical mistakes like fps drops and textures loading late, it was enjoyable at least. But after the introduction of Johnny Silverhand and Alt Cunningham, the game took an really uninteresting turn, the more i played, the more i lost my interest and after a total of nearly 25 hours of gameplay, I returned it. At one point, because of the bugs and all of the quality drops the game was in an state that was unplayable. I think that Cyberpunk had so much potential that was wasted in bad writing, plot holes and rushing the game’s release date all the time. If you’re an fan of futuristic stuff and the work of Phillip K. Dick, you will probably like this game due to it’s world and it’s story, but if you’re a person that played really good games like RDR2, Witcher 3, God Of War and Souls-like games, you will probably hate this game, it will feel like an really huge drop in quality after those games. In my opinion, this game is a waste of time, but if one of your friends has this and you want to check it out, do it that way and don’t buy the game if you want to try it.… Expand

    Para todo produto novo que você compra no preço de mercado, o requisito mínimo é que esteja em pleno funcionamento, sem defeitos graves e sem problemas recorrentes, isso vale pra uma casa, um carro, um televisor e etc...
    Agora. Por que pra um game isso não vale? Por que os gamers tem que aceitar pagar o preço Full de U$ 70,00 por algo que é defeituoso e incompleto?
    Vamos largar essa cultura de "patchs" para arrumar o jogo...
    Se você paga preço de mercado, preço Full num jogo, o correto é ele vir completo.

    So what can I say. The setting, the art direction, the music and some characters are just awesome. Early story carries well, but it does get lost at the second half of the game and there was a point in my play-through where I just felt ... well ... nothing ... every character who was still around and every story-line that was still open just made me feel empty. I did keep on going, but I had this eerie feeling that the best part of the game was over and I was never proven wrong. The soul of the game packed its briefcases and waved goodbye and never came back.

    I'd say that the game does introduce interesting entertainment approach where you end up being more amused/engaged by the videos of the bugs that the game has than from actually playing the game.

    It was released too early and I'm quite sure that the person in charge was just trying to impress some higher-ups and is probably going to lose or already lost their job. My respect to every person in CDRP who fought against releasing the game in its current state knowing all too well that it needed a couple of extra years to be fully completed (I'm quite sure this goes to all the developers involved as I find it hard to believe that they were not aware that almost none of the aspects of the engine or game systems could be deemed to be stable).

    What makes me saddest of all is that the world created deserved so much richer, longer, colourful story than what we got. What happened? This is what you are left with: what happened.

    Looking forward to GDC post-mortem on this game years from now.    … Expand

    Is this what was promised? No. Not even close. Its also really buggy on the ps4 pro but its still one of the best story driven games I've played. I'm annoyed but want more of these games. Even if its not the next generation of gaming we were promised

    Played on the PS4 Pro right on release. There were some noticeable bugs, but nothing that detracted from my enjoyment of the game. Quickly became one of my all time favorites, but I’d recommend waiting a month or two for some more major patches to come through. I have faith this game will be cleaned up and get the renown it deserves.

    I play on PS5 and yes it could be better in terms of graphics, bugs and stability BUT it’s one the best game I’ve ever played! I’m 40 yo and a game for 30 years. I love this game... probs to CDPR! I hope for a ton of DLC to be released.

    So at this point everyone knows all about the botched launch of cyberpunk - which is actually a huge shame because behind all of the bugs is a pretty great game.     Really, CDPR was pressured by investors, executives, and yes even its FANS to put out an unfinished game. This doesn't free them from their responsibility or errors, but what do you expect when everyone continues to push push push for a AAA game to be put out immediately. The main storyline of this game isn't super long but the game itself is EXPANSIVE. The details in the city, the options, the sidequests, the gigs, etc. I think that the story of the game is great, the voice acting is great, the graphics on the PS5 are great. Once the bugs are worked out and CDPR has a chance to actually FINISH it I think this would be an award winning game and probably a 9 or 10 in my mind. So its sad that its history will forever be marred by the messed up launch.

    So if you have a PS5 or are on a PC I think the game is pretty solid and I have enjoyed it a ton. Playing the game is actually a blast when you get through a stretch with no bugs. I've went through 2 endings already and I'm starting a fresh play through with a different character background and the story is already very different then the one I started. So the potential is there to put hundreds of hours into this game.

    So I very much look forward to CDPR polishing this up, providing some free DLC to make up for their mistakes, and putting out an updated PS5 version in 2021    … Expand

    Actually all games of ps3 era run exactly the same as this.lol. I am grateful that they did not cancel this version, despite the outdated hardware of console. since my PC is equipped with gtx 760, it is obvious that the game will not work correctly with this setup.

    An inspired game that will capture you with its fascinating story and awesome characters.
    It has some technical flaws but only because of the pandemic's development problems.
    CD Project Red delivers patches to resolve those problems, so don't worry.
    This game is a MUST HAVE.

You still struggle to hold a steady 60 FPS on a PS5. A few patches won’t fix this game, it needs a full reset. There’s too much content missing for it to just be fixed. It honestly feels more like a few dlcs then a game. The amount of content that should be in the game isn’t, it’s not even that much of an rpg, it’s a pretty bad rpg. Comparing this to other games in the same genre doesn’t quite make sense. You think that just because the others had bugs it makes this game justifiable. While those games had bugs, they also had content that cyberpunk doesn’t seem to have. This game is one of the biggest gaming disappointments of all time.

    I just have to put this out but keanu reeves performance was abismal he sounded like he was recording his lines like it was a coffee break. His performance was a huge disappointment, the voice acting of the other characters was actually really good. The NPCs that walk around or just sit there and the police have the worst voice acting and AI. I think the Dora game on wii had better AI.
    This game honestly shouldn’t have released it had great potential but just has too much missing. It’s like they wrote down everything they were gonna put in the game and just rubbed out most of them at random.
    P.S If the frames are bad now just wait til multiplayer releases.

    It's not 10/10 because they downgraded the graphics and choose not to wait and release all the versions. I've got to play a PS4 version (which is pretty bad) on PS5 while the High-end PC people are the chosen ones here.

    How to say it. the main story with Silverhand it's kinda cool but it's almost like they forgot to place the game between this long interactive movie which is fun only at the beginning but after that, it becomes clear the 48 minutes gameplay video, all the other promotional stuff and the wire episodes was lies to hype people and sell more copies.

    Ah, also they've just spoiled the first 2-3 hours of the game with all the promotional stuff. not some stuff was spoiled. What you see in the trailers is exactly the first 3 hours of the game.

    is amazing to look and just walk around but is empty. After a while you will get the sensation this is an early alpha. "The most believable city in an open world game to date" my ass.
    The NPC's are there to fill the empty space. they are the same as trash cans and post boxes. the same IA was put in NPC's and trash cans. vendors are not selling anything. A little detail, in one of the trailers there was elevators moving up and down, like to suggest other NPC's will take the elevators but it's not true. No one is doing nothing. they just walk.

    Customization 6/10
    pretty bad that once you've created the character at the beginning you cannot change anything. You cannot see yourself in mirrors or reflections in the environment. No cut-scenes in 3rd person. Nothing. just in the inventory when you cannot even zoom the character and see it properly. They also censor a loot nudity. The adult content and the romance options are heavily limited. The sex in this game is seen mostly like a parody, like making jokes about people being obsessed with sex in the future. Whatever. Maybe is just me but I saw some kind of message like, sexual freedom is bad and stuff. Like this is a catholic game?

    Horrible. It' reminds me GTA 3, 20 years ago when I was teen...wow

    pretty bad and basic. The same sensation over and over. This is an unfinished game. The stealth stuff also clunky. Most the time you will fail to sneak because of bad level design and stupid IA.
    In combat you'll stuck in an angle or an asset and die thinking "This wasn't a challenge. This is just bad design." and I played TLoU part I and II on grounded so I know what a challenge looks like.

    Inventory 6/10
    ugly. You cannot see stuff. the icons are small. I have difficulty read because of the text is red on blue background. my eyes hurt when I try read in this game. and there's a loot of interesting stuff to read.

    Car driving 7/10

    Cars IA and physics 2/10
    simply a joke. same care as for combat IA and NPC's IA.

    Looting 3/10
    You will pick trash and not even that interesting and after that just destroy it in generic crafting parts. you will not have nothing to collect, nothing to use to build stuff. it's too generic and force you to often to watch at the ground. why everything to pick is on the ground? Obviously all the looting mechanics was hide in the 48 minutes gameplay video. they hide the ugly part of the gameplay that reminds you at every corner that this is just a game.

    If you read until the end here's my real opinion about this game. they make it broken and ugly on purpose. They wanted this to be a Sean murray business model. don't give to the customers what they want so we will continue to hype over this game for next 5 years. endless hype for the next dlc or patch that will magically make this game the promised experience. but like in No man's Sky they will keep it ugly and unfinished. I played at the maximum difficulty level, but out of fear of another glitch, I launched a new game at the easiest one to just beat the game. since at the maximum level of difficulty, you need to use the territory to the maximum, and this is a high probability of catching another glitch.… Expand

    I tried my best to like this game, it's just so buggy, the selection curser would move around randomly with touching the controller, the button actions are not responsive, trying to pick up things is tedious having to hit the square button 5 times just to pick up one item, the amount of dialogue is just to much I'm sorry but this game is horrble.

The fully customizable character creator is really limited by not having sliders. I was actually shocked to day, I dare say shocked, when I found out white or gray hair wasnt an option. The way people in the game talk and act are so "edgelord" that I get taken out of it and just think why am I doing something so stupid with my time. Finally, after a week of playing...I got to the opening title card. Maybe if I played the first 3 hours solid it would have held my interest enough to see it on day one. I actually find myself getting quite annoyed playing the game. The cars handle terriblly. They cant make right turns, even with the brake and e brake applied. Anyway, for me the straw that broke the camels back and the reson i decided to write this is I was playing the game and I just finished the opening sequence with Johnny silverarms and I went to do the next mission and in game it wanted me to pay 500 dollars of in game currency. Obviously this si to get me to do side missions and whatnot but since I wasn't really liking the game anyway I felt really annoyed at being stopped right in the middle of my play over this. If it was smart game design I would have already had the 500 as a reward for the multitude other quests I've done and I wouldn't have been forced to stop and do something I honestly have no interest in doing. Unlike other people, I play on PC and it runs fine. My biggest issue is that its completely irritating to play.… Expand

    No big differences between Nomad, Corpo, Street kid. Not big defferences between hacker build, crafter build, handgun-shooter build either.

    Music and sound effects (10/10)
    This is the only thing that is polished.

    Dialogs (8/10)
    Good dialogs but many of them have no consequences. Most of them are linear - just different attitude (like AC:Odyssey or Mass Effect: Andromeda). But they are good written dialogs. Not as lame as in Fallout 4.

    RPG mechanics (8/10)
    Crafting is good, but simple. You have nice options for builds like hacking, gun-handling, crafting, stealth, so you can choose to be nice stealthy hacker, shooter and crafter - you can have it all.

    Gun-play (7/10)
    Good gunplay and guns. Big variety of tech and smart weapons, hanguns, rifles, shotguns.
    You can only give them different scopes and maybe a silencer and you can modify them with some mods.
    But you cannot optimize them much with different muzzles, barrels, stocks, magazines, triggers - Semi-Auto, Full-Auto and Burst modes. You cannot even paint them.

    In games I like when you have situations where you have to use different guns. Here I can handle every situation with a revolver. Even against enemies that have shotguns, machine guns, snipers, close quarter combat, long range combat, in open area, on streets... I can kill anyone in any situation with a revolver or a sniper rifle.
    If I am good with revolvers and not so much with shotguns, then it's easier to kill tough enemies with revolver then with a super heavy shotgun.

    Cars and bikes (7/10)
    Great design but terrible driving. The only thing that you can normally drive are motorbikes in 3rd person view. Cars are sliding like on ice.

    Graphics on PS5 (7/10)
    Not great, not terrible. The textures on PS5 could be 1080p not 720p. They didn't took advantage of next-gen consoles and did terrible optimization on PS4. It's a lose-lose situation (no-win).

    AI and world interactions (3/10)
    Just bad AI. The opponents are dumb, crowd is dumb, police are dumb. Their is not even a standard NPC and opponent AI and interactions like in standard games: Farcry, Deus Ex, GTA, Ghost Recon, Assassins Creed, Horizon Zero Dawn, Ghost of Tsushima, etc.
    Opponents have no tactics, no behaviour, no routines.

    Physics and collisions (3/10)
    Just bad. Objects are fusing, dissapearing, flying into sky, going under the world... you can die randomly during some collisions with objects... Cars are sliding, bikes are ok. Car crashes have no sense. Sometimes you can crash your big heavy car agains any car, sometimes you can drive through cars, sometimes you can destroy big car with your tiny car...
    There is no variety of physics like - water physics, bullet physics, fire physics, explosion physics, etc. There is no physics interaction between bullets, explosions and fire against world around you.

    Bugs 2/10
    Game crashes, dissapearing of NPC's, fusing of objects, NPC's stucked during missions, random enemy can attack you during conversation and kill you, you car will blow up and you will die randomly, objects flying around, NPC's flying around...

    Promises fulfilled (3/10)
    They promised features that will give you possibilities in game.
    1. Promise not fulfilled: Backstory:
    Childhood hero: Samurai rockerboy, Solo, Corporate god
    Key Life Event: death of sibling, ran away from home, first big kill
    2. Promise not fulfilled: A big world that is interactive.
    3. Promise not fulfilled: Crowd and community systems to create most believable city in any open-world game to date. People all living their lives with a full day and night cycle.    … Expand

    Forget about the bugs, they can be fixed. But it's a disgrace to call this ugly GTA 3 rip-off an RPG. You can't even bring down the people if they are somehow important. You shoot them and they simply don't die. You can't even shoot a fixer. You can't play the bad guy.

    The only thing you can do is to do what your fixer says as a soulless soldier.

This was coupled with numerous glitches that left me falling through the floor, stuck in invisible walls, my weapons disappearing, and being unable to progress in the story. It has a fantastic storyline, interesting side missions, and fun game play. I am disappointed with the driving mechanics and wish for a better AI in general. I would love to be able to edit some aspects of my character during gameplay.I play on a PS4.     Where to even start with this? I played on a PS4 PRO and the stories are true, this is not a game for "current" gen. Yes, current Gen, not last gen. We are not in the next gen as of yet, because I would say 80% of people still own a PS4/XBOX ONE X and not the future or next gen consoles yet. This game has been in development during the current generation of consoles, therefor should haveWhere to even start with this?     My best description of where the game lies is in between a hardcore open world RPG & a linear story based FPS. It's taking the FPS stylings of a Fallout game, updating it with more modern takes on dodging, double jumping & overall maneuverability while keeping to the statistical background & importance of a classic RPG where your character build defines how well your character works & what they're good at.

    Aside from differences in genre styles & character agency, the world works pretty differently as well. While considered an open world RPG and being one of the biggest and busiest open worlds to date I have found that the world, while appealing & visually gripping lacks a bit of the randomness of true open world. When you've beaten the game, done all of the side quests, APBs & gigs and you are left looking at what to do in the post game you find that there isn't much to do or very well any incentive to grind out for better equipment or for money (unless you want the Autojock trophy for owning all of the cars). For this particular issue I ended up fixing this by simply exploring the map.

    The world that CDPR has made from the resources of 2020, RED and Pondsmith himself working with them they have been able to create an enormous megalopolis comparable to Mega-city One from the Judge Dredd comic series. The city layered with breathtaking individualistic aesthetic and panache gives off really well done visual storytelling. One can almost see the lore of how the city's districts were formed without needing to read about it, BUT just in case you wanted to read about it you will be absolutely enthralled with the various amounts of data shards filled with Night city and overall Cyberpunk lore to ingest. In some cases the map of Night city is an almost perfect copy/design of the Cyberpunk RED map which takes place in 2045 but if you look back to 2020 you'll see very little that remains similar, but this generally makes sense.

    Pondsmith didn't necessarily want you to be a world saving badass, but instead have you be a pretty normal guy (of course this is for the TTRPG, whether that sentiment converted into the development of V is a whole other story) & to me personally the way the story of V is told in the game is done beautifully. You start out no matter what background as a basic nobody & from that point onward you are essentially just trying to make a name for yourself & make it to the big leagues. How V interacts with the supporting cast is voice acted & written naturally & fluidly with what I'd consider to be perfectly rational reactions considering the circumstances. Johnny Silverhand & V's relationship is an integral part of the story & depending on how the player chooses to rush through the game, take their time or just mess around every now & then can change the pace of that relationship. I personally layered the story telling into sections, I'd play a bit of the story then chill & do gigs & side quests & then go back to the story - by doing this the way their relationship played out felt a lot more natural, as if as time went on they had become closer. I could also see someone blitzing through the story & feeling like it was forced & didn't make sense, on this I'd say it's more of a player's choice to how that will feel BUT CDPR may have done a little bit better to allow the more casual players to feel that natural progression come about.

    Away from this the story telling of the relationship/friendship quests, side quests & gigs all came with pretty well done voice acting & writing. Without spoiling anything I'd just suggest to fully invest in the Panam, Kerry & Judy quests.

    We're now on patch 1.06, all I can say on this is that on the PS4 slim the bugs were basic stuff that you'd see in really any open world RPG and some you STILL see in Skyrim, nothing truly game breaking...that said there are a few side quest bugs that are annoying and won't allow you to either start them, do them or turn them in. Luckily as they are side quests this isn't super important. As for crashes, since the new update I have experience a crash maybe once every 4 hours - being an experienced open world RPG gamer across consoles and PC, I learnt from this years ago and have implemented a multiple manual save system as well as an obsessive quick save system.

    Overall having finished the game all the way through in each ending, exploring afterwards, deep diving into the lore, trying to find cut content & pushing the game to it's limits I'd have to give the game on the PS4 slim an overall 8.5/10 or an 85.    … Expand

    I'm playing on PS4 Pro, and the game runs great aside from occasional hard-crashes and weird UI glitches which I am sure will soon be fixed. My only complaint is that the game is much too easy for an RPG. You really need to play this game on maximum difficulty settings to get the most out of it, otherwise you'll just breeze through the main quest and miss half of the game. The side missions are awesome, and on very hard difficulty, are essential to get the necessary armor and weapons upgrades. Even on the hardest difficulty, I am missing the necessity to eat, drink and sleep. Hopefully this will come later.

    Ignore the haters. If you like RPGs and have PS4 Pro or better, then this is one of the best games you'll ever play.    … Expand

Я просто могу понять как тяжело консоли 2014-го года выдавать стабильную производительность и красивую графику, да и перейдя на новое поколение playstation, я получу эту игру бесплатно с улучшенной графикой и производительностью. Across 3 days I ran into only a couple crashes and it rarely set me back too far thanks to auto saves as well as the fact I am very diligent in saving progress due to how easy in a RPG to make a wrong decision or die due to walking into danger. I ran into a lot of visual glitches still, but the surprising thing is the load times and stability were overall great. I didn’t find the visual glitches too distracting, and overall, the game still looked visually good to me. It doesn’t compare to the PC version, but when I compare it to the likes of Fallout 4, Skyrim that are of a similar open world, I enjoy Cyberpunk’s visuals more. I love the difference between the slums, the corporate part of cities and there’s just a pretty amazing visual flow to the City, as well as very convenient fast travel options that make traversing these areas easier than one may expect. So stability and visuals I’d give 7.5/10, as I think there are improvements to be made to make it a completely polished experience and I would prefer fewer crashes but this is only a single element of the game.

    For me, the story is a 10/10. I love the bleak world, the hard decisions and above all, I love the characters. Most of the endings I’ve seen come with a high cost and it left me much to think about in the end, ultimately. I love Johnny’s character so much and the highlight of the experience for me, I think, was helping him somewhat repent for his past mistakes, similar to the Christmas Carol in some regard. There’s a real connection between Johnny and V, which made the ending I got, so painful for me. All I can advise to new players is to really take time with Johnny and get to know him, as I found that experience the most rewarding.

    For combat and A.I., I didn’t have as much of a problem with the police annoying me. I managed to escape most of the times in a car or something. It could stand to be improved, but it wasn’t game ruining for me, as I played on the normal difficulty. Combat, for me, was also great. I love the variety of guns, scopes and I love the swords. I ended up having a mix of a pistol, assault rifle/shotgun and a katana for the majority of my playing. I found performing slides while shooting or taking out large groups of people with just a sword some of the most fun I’ve had combat wise. Compared to even Fallout 4 and Skyrim, I prefer how it feels in Cyberpunk. Overall I’d give it a 9/10, but I can see why it’s not the same for others.

    Character customization feels a bit weaker compared to the likes of Fallout 4 and a part of me wishes for a third person view, but I found myself more attached to V than a lot of my other RPG characters regardless of this. There’s so much more cutscenes involved with your character and I felt more attached to V thanks to them. I also was able to play as a woman with a dick which resulted in a lot of funny moments. The clothes on the other hand, are amazing and plentiful. An easy 10/10 for clothes, but I found the customization only above average in some way, so sadly only a 6 to 7/10 for me.

    Driving I found fine on console. Going in, I had the perception driving was gonna be bad, but I found myself enjoying it and even doing pretty well at some of the races. I also gained around three cars and two bikes by the end of playing, and that’s without actually paying. I just did quests and unlocked a bunch. My favorite is by far Johnny’s car and it feels me with the memories of when V brought Johnny to where he was buried, which was one of my favorite moments in the story.

    So... where does this leave me? I can’t say the PS4 version is perfect. It still needs more bug fixes, but at it’s current price and the content there, in my opinion, there’s no way this game could be even close to below a 7/10. The story is amazing, the visuals are still great (most of the time), the combat is fun, the A.I is passable, character customization is above average but improved by the amount of times V’s face is used for cutscenes and driving was also just fun.

    It’s not a perfect game. Even despite my praise, I had a few crashes that annoyed me across around my three/four solid days of playing.

    I think Cyberpunk is a game worth buying at a 9/10. The story, the cutscenes and multiple endings is what brings it up to that score for me, despite maybe some of the more average elements of the game.

    I think Cyberpunk is an experience people should try for themselves before jumping to the conclusion it’s just a buggy or broken mess, as even some of my friends who haven’t played the game sorta just... presume. My experience was ultimately just... fun and emotional. It’s an amazing ride for me.    … Expand

    I cannot forget my experience, following V's Lifequest is one of the most immersiv experience I had for years. I saw many games, I played many games, I am a "boomer" (36yo) and when I play Cyberpunk 2077 I play my character on Cyberpunk 2020 as the last 5 years... The scripts of all characters, the storytelling, the voices (I play in French), the quests, all the things to do... All the choices which change quests, relationship with ppl... I don't tell spoilers for the sceptics have to wait Feb 2021 for a stabilisation of the game, but for all the players who have played Cyberpunk 2020 youy HAVE TO PLAY cyberpunk 2077. The CDR studios needs our support to finish the game and show them that their community is here. The game works well on PC's and PS5 and series X, soi stay positiv and wait cause we are in front of the Game of the Decade if CDR takes the best decisions to optimise and give this game the content it needs.

    I loved it. This game is just incredible, unfortunatly it has a few bugs that might be fixed in the next patch, and it has some graphic problems too. But I believe that it'll be all good good next month. I wish that all people had the same experience just like me.

    I found the story of the game really good there are tons of glaring issues like glitches and graphical errors but most of the time its works pretty well the gun play isn't the best but its still fun in fights if all the bugs where fix it would probably be a 10/10 for me

    The bugs never were as terrible as others claimed. I suffered from a few crashes, but that’s about it. The story is really interesting and the game got me hooked almost immediately. The potential for this game is incredibly high. This game will receive more updates and DLC. Keep an eye out for that!

    The game is good, it's adult in the good way, well written, even minor quests are all unique. Honestly, do avoid it on last gen, but in no way do the problems make it deserve the low rating.

    Billions of dollars and years of ‘work’. Yet the game isn’t even smooth on PS5 and all the menus are confusing as hell. No help in game about how to use the 3000 menus, weapons, weapon upgrades, clothes items, and millions of other things

I had some absurd issues with guns behaving like they had no ammo, when they did, but those bugs seemed tied to certain game areas or missions and never returned, so I assume they will get patched in the years to come. Until then, this is a legit fun game... I'm not going to pick Hades or Last of Us Part 2 over playing another 20 hours; I plan to go for all the endings with this game and will probably play 100 hours by the time I quit.     You know what - I have over 50h experience solely on PS4 and I don't get why the feedback is so negative. So yeah, it crashed about 10 times before the hotfix, graphics go blurry sometimes, so what? Is this the only thing that matters? Yes, they should have waited till 2021 to release it, but I still don't think the developers deserve such level of shaming they get now. The game is stunning, quests are awesome, storyline is absolutely beautiful. The game forces you to actually think - so I don't care if crashes here or there.
    It feels like people are just following the lead - it's a trend to say Cyberpunk came out as a failure. Question is - is it really your opinion or just something that other people tend to say?
    Apparently inability to get a new haircut for a character you don't even see besides when you're driving a bike - is far more important than a good story, splendid dialogues and very nice combat system.    … Expand

    I am playing It on the ps5 for already 50 hours and apart from some minor crashes works like a charm 10/10 for the game and the story

    This is the worst game ever runs worse than a slide show on my ps4. Devs should have been more transparent about base console , ps2 games look better than this

    Best game I have ever played. Every update make game better. I paid ones, I now my game every day give me more fun, because of updates. Excellent !!!!!!!!!!! CDR will never left theirs players.

    PS4 PRO patch 1.6. This is the best I've played since the last of us part 1. Very interesting side quests. some are even more interesting than the main company. Unambiguously buy and pass on PS4 pro

    I'm scared how bad this game is in the current generation, even on PlayStation PRO the game is horrible, full of bugs, blurry and looks like myopic. It shouldn't have been launched for the current generation

    What an amazing experience on the PS5, yes there are bugs and oddities but it was very playable and above all enjoyable. I’ve now put it aside until such time the PS5 version comes out but if you have a PS5 don’t let the bad reviews deter you from a unique experience

    Game becomes better every day. The storyline is amazing just give them some time and it will become the game of the year. And everybody will enjoy it

    Tak posiada błędy. Jednak hotfix poprawiają wygląd gry a fabuła jest bardzo wciągająca.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
