    I give a 5 only because the story really did catch me. But the game crashes every time I play it. FPS drops happen too often, technically it’s a mess. CD Projekt RED I wish you the best, but this game right now doesn’t deserve any better...

    Nothing could go wrong really. They pumped the hype to eleven with a gigantic marketing campaign, they had **** Jonny Deep as a character (come on dude! You can’t get any cooler than that) and eight years to smoothly develop the game. So what went wrong? CD PR absurd megalomania that was.

    They promised everything to please everyone! Even with the development time they had it was impossible to deliver, so a lot of things were cut from the game: reputation system, the subway lines are in the game but can’t be used, Pacifica area was mostly cut and a f*ck ton of other things. This desire to hold everything led to Cyberpunk mismanagement in an area that couldn’t be f*cked up: its awful graphical performance.

    Game couldn’t reach 30 fps, graphics looking like something out of PS3 at best, glitches running amok, characters falling through the world... Things that can’t be unseen and can’t be masked. You can mislead your audience with a more subjective aspect like an awful gameplay if you rely on the story/characters/graphics gimmicky (hello Witcher 3). But something as flagrant as a graphical subpar performance can be perceived by the most stupid gamer on Earth. And that was their main flaw: they failed on something that couldn’t be masked; not even the totally honest and not biased critics could help CD PR on this one.

    With players frowning upon first impressions of the game, the light was shed upon the problems that were present since Witcher 3. Oh so the combat sucks? What a surprise right, I could never see this coming! I dare to say if wasn’t for the graphical performance and bugs, people would be praising Cyberpunk as much as they did with Witcher 3.

    Cyberpunk 2077 disaster is the perfect case of everything that is wrong in Triple A gaming industry. I always perceived the project as an overhyped GTA but they delivered something much worse and ruined the entire company’s reputation. Remember their bullsh*t moral grandstanding speech about microtransactions? “We leave greed to others” yeah right.

    Also I would love to salute the special dudes who pre-ordered the game despite a lot of red flags; really my boys, congratulations! The mediocrity in which the industry is depends heavily on stupid people like you to give them money. And you better hurry! The pre-orders for the new FIFA and Call of Duty already started    … Expand

    This game’s hype was legendary. Sadly, it will go down as one the biggest failures of all time, gaming or otherwise. The bugs were annoying and completely unforgivable. It was so bad that now my strategy for all future releases of CD Project Red will be to wait at least 6 months before playing any of their games, if I don’t wait long enough to buy it at a 50% discount.

    Bugs aside, I came into this experience expecting something comparable to the Witcher 3. It was not. The main character was not someone I cared about; his companions I had little empathy for. The story and side quests were not captivating. The game itself was interesting enough to keep me moderately entertained for about 10 hours. The final 20 hours were a chore, and I stopped playing for a few months after the 20 hour mark. The only thing I liked about this game were the romance options. The relationship-building via quest chain was more fleshed out than other titles.    … Expand

Most would say bugs, but even though it has been months later there are still many bugs, with encountering one every 5-10 mins.     I have to be completely honest, i didn't like it and it might be my most hated game of all time. It was promised to be something extremely new and cool, but in reality it doesn't have even most basics systems that 2001 video games had.

    I can safely say I have never felt more mixed feelings about a game before. There is no question that it is sickeningly buggy & unfinished, after one playthrough, the majority of my memories are of poor frame rates, t-poses, play sessions interrupted by crashes, unloaded textures. Surely the most unfinished open world I have ever played through.
    But underneath this is an extremely    I can safely say I have never felt more mixed feelings about a game before. There is no question that it is sickeningly buggy & unfinished, after one playthrough, the majority of my memories are of poor frame rates, t-poses, play sessions interrupted by crashes, unloaded textures. Surely the most unfinished open world I have ever played through.
    But underneath this is an extremely memorable cast of characters (with a special menyion to Keanu Reeve's performance as Johnny Silverhand), a breathtaking world (from a distance), fun driving mechanics & a stellar story. I myself finished my playthrough with my first ever bad ending across any game & felt more empathy & heartbreak than in any game ever before.

Но я удалил игру и попробовал снова на патче 1.11, оптимизация на 3+ из 5, но я уже не мог ждать и решил пройти сюжет. Меня ждало около 50 часов отличной истории с прекрасными персонажами за которыхЕсли бы я оценивал эту игру в день релиза, то оценка была бы от 0 до 2, все таки отвратительное техническое состояние и обман пользователей консолей очень сильно подпортили впечатление от игры. Но я удалил игру и попробовал снова на патче 1.11, оптимизация на 3+ из 5, но я уже не мог ждать и решил пройти сюжет. Меня ждало около 50 часов отличной истории с прекрасными персонажами за которых я готов простить практически все. Так как играл на консоли, то шутерной механики хотелось касаться пореже и я прокачал нетранера, получив практически классического мага. В общем, если вы поставили двойку на релизе и удалили игру, то советую дать ей шанс. Если для Вас, как и для меня, в играх главное история, персонажи и эмоции которые они дарят, то игра скорее всего Вам понравится.… Expand

    I´m now about 45 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 and I have to say, I understand both critic sides. On the one hand it was released unfinished and that´s a taboo after all the hype. Bugs over bugs like flying cigarettes or broken sound. But after the Update it worked a bit better. On the other hand, the story, the characters and the overall atmosphere are brilliant! To enjoy Cyberpunk properly,I´m now about 45 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 and I have to say, I understand both critic sides. On the one hand it was released unfinished and that´s a taboo after all the hype. Bugs over bugs like flying cigarettes or broken sound. But after the Update it worked a bit better. On the other hand, the story, the characters and the overall atmosphere are brilliant! To enjoy Cyberpunk properly, wait for the next gen versions or play it on PC.

    The buggiest game I’ve ever played but also kept me hooked for 40 odd hours so must be doing something right. Ignoring all the “missing features” and judging the game in its own right it is an enjoyable game but the strong story, voice acting performances and unbelievable soundtrack carry the whole experience over gameplay. The combat did click for me at one point and became really fun butThe buggiest game I’ve ever played but also kept me hooked for 40 odd hours so must be doing something right. Ignoring all the “missing features” and judging the game in its own right it is an enjoyable game but the strong story, voice acting performances and unbelievable soundtrack carry the whole experience over gameplay. The combat did click for me at one point and became really fun but before then when I was lacking high damage weapons and versatile upgrades it felt very slow and bullet spongey. Would I recommend it? No. I would wait a year until all the bugs have been fixed, there is more polish (no pun intended) and hopefully some more content is added. I’m going to wait until 2022 before I do my second play through and hopefully by then it will be a 9/10 experience, though I can’t imagine it ever meeting the expectations it might have once had.… Expand

    Night City is a hedonistic immersive world with all the dirt and hardship you can imagine. Beautiful during the day, Unforgiving during the nightfall. The story has a forward going line, but with so many key players calling and texting you,    Beneath all the bugs, glitches, errors and blue screens of death lies a fantastic game. One of the best, most comprehensive written stories so far.

    Night City is a hedonistic immersive world with all the dirt and hardship you can imagine. Beautiful during the day, Unforgiving during the nightfall.
    The story has a forward going line, but with so many key players calling and texting you, they take you to several different paths, but all in favour for reaching where you are heading at.
    With Night City offering you a great deal of weapons to get, clothes to wear, cars to drive and other stuff to help you on. It has much to offer before you get bored of it.

    There is a lot of functions to set your mind into. But you will gradually learn all the tech you need to work out come along as you play. It can for sure be overwhelming to swallow it all, but just stick it out as you go is my advice. Some are very useful, and some are not even necessary to bother with to even complete the game. You will find your way and tactics that suits you best.

    As you start out bare handed and begin to network with people, you meet a city with many different inhabitants with different personalities that is helping you with a hand to manage in the city. Cast is stellar with a really A-grade voice acting. Most prominent is Keanu Reeves who plays Johnny Silverhand that works as your in-brain sidekick, nuisance or whatever.

    Sadly this game holds the title of the most problematic launch in the history of gaming. It really needed at least 6 months to a year more on the production board before it could see the light of day, But CDPR really needs to learn to hold their card to their chest longer, as if The Witcher 3 did not give them proper education in releasing games prematurely, they certainly did not learn this time around either. However, If you choose to just forget all the errors that comes with it (dependable what gen.system you play on), you have a killer game to dive into.

    Lets just hope for CDPR to get their heads together and iron out what they can. I for one would play this more than one time trough because i never finished my time in the half discovered city before the credits rolled.    … Expand

    Update....WOW! Got a PS5 and this game runs smooth and it plays like it should. This game is a semi-masterpiece!!! The story is action packed and the side missions are fun as hell. I am happy to say I finished it with very little issues. There is a couple of glitches here and there but I have seen that in so many other huge AAA games, even after they patched it. This game deserves a secondUpdate....WOW! Got a PS5 and this game runs smooth and it plays like it should. This game is a semi-masterpiece!!! The story is action packed and the side missions are fun as hell. I am happy to say I finished it with very little issues. There is a couple of glitches here and there but I have seen that in so many other huge AAA games, even after they patched it. This game deserves a second chance and its to bad it all started on the wrong foot, but true gamers, will forgive and forget if CDPR delivers on the patches to give us a polished console RPG. Night City is worth the play and it goes deep down the rabbit hole of craziness, brutal gore and shock and awe. You need to play this game and enjoy it like i just did.....it's great!!!… Expand

    Cyberpunk offers a very good story with brilliant characters l. It's just a shame that bugs, glitches amongst others hold the game back from being great as the potential was clearly there for us all to see, that and a lot of missing content holds it back but nonetheless a fun and enjoyable rpg. .

    ich Habe cyberpunk 2077 auf meiner 2 jahre alten ps4 gezockt ich hab mich am anfang echt gewundert was alle daran so schlimm fanden aber wenn mann weiter ins Spiel geht (damit mein ich den story fortschritt findet mann umso mehr bugs grafik fehler und glitches deshalb finde ich es schade das sie sich nicht mer mühe gemacht haben umd das spiel noch zu verbessern

There are no real choices, you just follow along and go where you're told. The main story just ends suddenly, with no emotional investment or conclusion. I did like the 80s, sci-fi feel to the game.

    I think a sequel which was something closer to Bladerunner, where you play as a cop would be interesting, if CDPR got a decent team in and allowed the player more freedom.    … Expand

    Worst game of all time. By big difference. My worst game before this was supermen 64 but even this is better then this complete disaster. For me this game not haves a single Positive thing never ever I will buy a game from this studio again. Hope this studio dies and never fools anyone again. Horrible visuals horrible gameplay horrible story horrible mechanics. Just a disaster not worth 1 euro.

    Okay, I know there is a lot of bugs and glitches. But I don't care! Plot is realny good. Awesome characters, which I loved. And the feeling of Night City. I was rally upset when wad to leave this city.

    But console versions is not ready for comfortable play. I appreciate developers job, maybe the can't fix this game on PS4 good enough. I hope they'll do this, but they need some time.

    impossivel jogar, da crash toda hora no PS4. Pior jogo q já joguei na minha vida, Superman 64 da um pau nisso.
    A CDPR merece tudo q ta acontecendo e mais um pouco, por ter cometido esse crime contra os jogadores. o Jogo nao esta terminado, lançaram algo pela metade e só vai ficar pronto (se ficar) daqui uns anos. Ridiculo e nojento. CDPR nunca mais. Nem parece a mesma equipe/dev q fez    impossivel jogar, da crash toda hora no PS4. Pior jogo q já joguei na minha vida, Superman 64 da um pau nisso.

    You can tell this game is made by people who really wanted it to be good. This is something some games from makers like Ubisoft and EA miss, where you feel those games are made just for money.     You can tell this game is made by people who really wanted it to be good. This is something some games from makers like Ubisoft and EA miss, where you feel those games are made just for money. You can tell CD wanted this game to be fun but just failed spectacularly. Every (and I mean EVERY) aspect and facet of this game is either glitched, unfinished, or poorly made in some way. Some parts are mostly good and are fun but there's no part of this game that is in 100% tip top shape. I'll go through the parts of the game one-by-one:

    GAMEPLAY/PERFORMANCE:
    Probably the most corrupted and damaging part of the game. Frequent crashes, very slow load times, low frame rates, extreme lag, glitches that affect everything from gun fights and conversations all the way to moving and looking. Thank god this game allowed you to save liberally (although, not in some instances, frustratingly) because the amount of times I needed to reload a save due to some performance failure are too many to count. Things would seem to function in reverse (non-spoiler example: something meant to slow time down instead lags the game so you die before you can react, the opposite effect than the developers intended). There seemed to be a lot of issues with driving, which is big because that's how you get around in the game. Almost every mechanic/function/feature broke in some way during my playthrough, and most things seemed completely unrefined. When they worked, fights and conversations were fun and engaging, but that's WHEN they worked. Odds of that felt like gambling.

    STORY (no-spoilers):
    CD really shines when it comes to story and Cyberpunk has a lot of really great story-telling moments. This is the most redeeming part of the game in my eyes. The writers were clearly skilled and put in a lot of work. This is why I didn't give it a 0/10. There's points where I really felt for the characters and some where the emotional turns of the story hit home for me. Tense bits were tense, thrilling bits thrilling, etc. But glitches hold it back. A game-breaking glitch ruined my main quest enjoyment and side quests also have glitches that sabotage their potential. The most damaging thing for the storytelling were times when something gameplay/performance related took away from the plot, especially when it wasn't a glitch. You could tell an interesting plot had been mangled by time/development/oversight failures. Mostly it's sad and disappointing to see potential go to waste.

    WORLD BUILDING:
    This is the other thing that CD shines at traditionally, but they failed here. The Witcher was a master of world building, this game had a few good moments but quickly becomes vapid. Mostly, it seems like they just didn't have time to fill in a lot of things: some places seem like they were meant for something that never happens; some groups were there but you only have the tiniest interaction with them, some mechanics seem half-cooked as though they were going to be used but then half-scrapped. I got fallout 4 vibes. The world is like a desert: the first time you see one: first you're amazed that it's so big, but quickly you find there's not a whole lot to do in it.

    GRAPHICS:
    This is the most obviously bugged and glitchy thing. Normally I don't mind graphical glitches because they usually don't pull me out of the game much and this is the same for this game. That said, the graphical glitches were BAD... like... the worst I've ever seen... some were haunting, jump-scare level. Most just made it difficult to play the game... or even to see the game.

    OTHER:
    Random things like Settings, controller feedback and other miscellaneous aspects of the game would also break, I don't even know how. I'd repeatedly get a message that my settings were corrupted and reset and sometimes the game would stop recognizing I was pressing buttons (other games would still work so not a hardware issue). I don't understand how many of these even occurred, it's like something an early-access game would do, and even then it'd be bad.

    SUMMARY:
    I've wanted to give CD the benefit of the doubt, especially after hotfixes came out so quick. But the vastness of the issues with this game are inexcusable. There's no way they didn't know the game would be like this. I heard the game works better on PC/Next-gen, and I would have purchased it on one of those, but CD specifically advertised and released the game as a previous-gen game that'd be updated for next-gen. I've waited for updates and patches, but I think the hole they've dug may be too big to fill that easily. Maybe in a year or two, but for now the game is a mess.    … Expand

    After patch 1.11 on PS5 its worth to come back because 1.05 or 1.06 didnt fix the game at all. I had bugs of getting stuck in rooms and I had bugs that I couldn't continue the story line. I dropped the game and played it on Stadia instead. It runs great but after a two or three hours theres this frame rate judder that even on Stadia has it and it can crash your game.     Amazing adventure with great story, characters and decisions. Few bigger bugs during ~50h gameplay cannot destroy game experience. But ofcourse if you are focused on graphics, you should check this game on ps5 or PC, where it looks so much better then ps4. Or if you expect new gta - this game is focused on different aspects, this is rpg and you can be disappointed.

    This game was dissapointing, atleast on the platform I played on it, it was so buggy even after the most recent releases I just never got that far and resorted to watching youtuber/streamers play it, overall this is a bad game and I'm dissapointed in CD projekt red, I hope to see improvements for the future and I will change my score of it gets any better

    Been playing it on the base PS4, my friend gave it to me and I didn't start playing until update 1.1 because that's when I got it, it's a great game! It's a little rough around the edges graphically but I recommend you turn off all the extra graphics settings (because it actually looks better on PS4 without them). I love the story and gameplay, it definitely draws you in if you're intoBeen playing it on the base PS4, my friend gave it to me and I didn't start playing until update 1.1 because that's when I got it, it's a great game!     I personally wouldnt put it above Ghost of Tsushima based on the fact that GOT is a lovingly crafted game that never crashed on me once,
    has interconnected side missions that actually contribute to the story and

    I understand that Night City IS the main antagonist in Cyberpunk but that doesnt make it any nicer a world to exist in.
    GOT is a world that surrounds you with the brutality and beauty of nature.
    Night City is a hole of excrement that you can hardly blame Johnny for wanting to burn to the ground.
    I would be interested in knowing just how many people would ever choose to save it in a Life is Strange Bae or Bay type choice.
    I would bet a prosthetic limb or two that most would crater-ize it.
    In current year the adult content is cringeworthy and embarrassing and not needed in a video game.
    Think Custer's Revenge level idiocy.
    Adult toys are everywhere and after the original 3 second duration of 'lol benis'
    they become embarrassing and make the player wonder if it maybe isnt time to put the controller down and do something more worthy of your time.
    It isnt mature or provocative. Its irrelevant and we have seen it all before.
    Gameplay wise it is in the vein of Bioshock or Deus Ex but set in a sub-GTA sandbox.
    I do not recommend this game.
    For all its strengths (the city looks nice-ish when it bothered to load up) it is not complete.
    Wait a year minimum and see if they can salvage this. Do not pay full price for this game. £20 max.

If you drive and want to save or change the radio station for example, you can feel how hard the console works to load those features.     I know there has been a lot of controversy regarding this game so I want to first state these things upfront.

    First thing I noticed while playing this game was that the detail throughout the city is top notch. The floating signage, news and television footage which would have taken them hours to put together, aesthetically it is just so beautiful. You can really tell the developers have put in a lot of time into all the details to try and bring the city to life.

    On the city, I did notice some areas are super crowded like markets and club areas but once you move outside that the crowds thin out as do traffic. I expect this has something to do with memory utilisation, too many moving parts might make the game lag on the PS4 so they had to scale it back I have no idea. It didn’t detract from my enjoyment as I was more focused on the skyline and signs about the place rather than people but I know that this has upset some gamers.

    One small detail I particularly liked was the text messages feature and the ability to reply. I found myself calling random NPCs just to see what kind of conversations you could have. Speaking to a dead persons mail box can be quite emotional and raw – fantastic script writing.

    I loved the variety of radio stations, hip hop, rock, metal, even latino and jazz. My favourite was a syth station called Pacific Dreams that has a futuristic 80s vibe (Is that a thing?) along with Body Heat radio. Still on music, the core soundtrack in my opinion is perfect. They had a variety of composers who each set different scenes. Sometimes the score is frantic with hard beats during action moments while at more emotional moments the score is slow and synth heavy. They certainly have captured the rollercoaster ride your V has undertaken.

    That all said the story is the crowning jewel of this game. Some characters can be saved, or they can die and this will affect little parts of your story during your playthrough. These choices will also affect aspects of your ending too. I tried multiple endings and one actually made me tear up. I can’t really talk about the story too much without spoiling the game but there are many heartfelt moments which will resonate with you long after you’ve played through them.

    All these elements combined, beautiful environments, fantastic music blended with an emotional story make for one hell of a game and a journey that I wanted to embark upon again as soon as the credits had rolled.

    Last note: After going with male V on my second playthrough I can say without a doubt that playing as female V felt 50 times better. I felt like the love hate relationship between V and Johnny Silverhand made more sense, instead of a guy living in another guys body you had this guy in a chicks body. Likewise the friendship/potential relationship with Judy was so much more beautiful and with Panam you had a hard-ass bestie thing going on. It felt like Panam was a chick who really had your back, who you could go to war with. If I can make a recommendation on this game is that you must play with female V, it is so rewarding. The day I buy a game for $60 and it is borderline unplayable on the platform it was advertised for and I say well that was a good experience is the day that I no longer have any self respect. Cyberpunk 2077 is a game full of hopes and dreams, but at the same time lies and failed promises.     Mixed experience with this game. The strengths of this game are the open-world experience with great character development, missions, and choices which offer replayability. Unfortunately, the constant bugs and crashes, even on next gen hardware detail this experience. Would recommend playing this on either pc or waiting until a true next gen version later in 2021.

    Сюжет игры - это её самая сильная сторона,на сюжете держится весь геймплей,динамика и интерес к игре.Также некоторые квесты довольно сильно о запоминаются,например квесты с Деламейном,Джуди,киберпсихи и другие,но таких квестов меньше половины.
    в целом сюжет хороший,но не слишком - 8/10

    Геймплей

    Тут начинаются проблемы,их не много,но они значительны.С одной стороны геймплей разнообразен,много видов оружия,хакинг,стелс,различные ситуации,да,это хорошо.
    Но хорошее заканчивается там,где начинаются автомобили.О боже.Это наверно худшая физика управления автомобилем,а мне есть с чем сравнивать,я играл в первый Watch Dogs.
    Также задалбливает под конец всей игры делать одно и тоже.

    Геймплей не плохой,но не больше - 6/10

    Открытый мир и активности в нем

    Открытый мир красивый,но пустой.Скорее не пустой,а однообразный,заполненный кучей однотипных разбоев,преступлений ,заказов,где ты просто пришел,убил/украл/поставил вирус и ушел.Ура,победа.

    Открытый мир в целом никакой,поэтому - 4/10

    Графика,Визуал,Атмосфера

    Говоря проще графон нормальный,визуал неплохой(я не большой любитель киберпанка как стиля) и атмосфера на уровне.

    В целом,все,что связано с картинкой в игре - 8/10

    Игра хорошая,но не более.
    Ожиданий она не оправдала,но эмоции были,особенно после получения платины

    Where do I start? I have played over 500 hrs of cyberpunk on ps4 offline without any updates (via disc), on ps4pro same disc with updates and ps5 (had to connect to internet and update or it just wouldent work).
    1st play ps4 (no update) attempted 100% completion hard difficulty nomad Lv49 sc50 115hrs in and data corrupted and had to restart.

    So in conclusion i spent more time than most in game had all bugs, isues and problems listed online as well as some ive not seen online.
    I didnt like nor dislike johnny and would rather he wasnt in the game at all infact i had no connection to any charecter in the game seriously didnt give a single F, i diddnt like a single piece of music in the game and even with all the bad things i found there was somthing keeping me playing hidden under all the bugs, bad music and boring chareters there was somthing untapped maybe a good game somthing that could have, should have been.
    All the obove and the misselling sales tactics by cdpr and dreafull nonappoligy are the reason for the 0 rating i gave, as someone with over 1000hrs in the witcher 3 im saddened and dissappointed.    … Expand

    Player's character can forge their own path throughout the game by both multiple choices and different combat styles. Depending on what skills you choose how you deal with enemies and what dialogue options you have available may vary. I myself played as a sneaking netrunner who doesn't kill his enemies just knocks them out. The only problem with levelling and streetcred systems is that they aren't well adjusted for the sheer size of the game. After doing ~60% of the game's activities I already had reached max SC and max lvl of the two skill trees that matched my playstyle.
    Game's main story is so complex, well written and engaging (and so are many side quests) that it had me in tears at the end.
    The performance on PS4 Slim wasn't the best but still very playable (TURN OFF FILM GRAIN AND MOTION BLURR!) and in some aspects it felt like a technological achievement.

    To sum up, Cyberpunk 2077 is a masterpiece and "a thing of beauty - I know...".    … Expand

    Broken, unfortunately. Which is the only time a game ACTUALLY deserves a zero.

    Hiding the console version from reviewers was a scummy move by the developer. Keeping in mind that the last-gen version is the ONLY console version that they have released so far, they haven't even released the PS5/SeriesX version yet. But it's a disaster on the PS4 consoles that they released it specifically for.

    I really enjoyed this game on PS4 Pro. Patch 1.1 fixed most issues for me. Will replay the game later this year when additional patches come out.

    I play this on PS4, and have enjoyed it so far, the latest patch though has done something with the visuals that makes me sick, echos on the cars when driving, weird effects when turning left/right. I tried turning off motion blur to no effect.

    If this isn’t fixed, I can no longer play the game, the graphical effects are vomit inducing.

    I don’t care how ambitious the game is. Aside from the graphics complaints that everyone has voiced over and over, the mechanics of the game are poorly done. Combat is not rewarding at all. Horrible gun play, horrible melee. No real interaction with environment. Just a knock-off, poor quality GTA set in the future.

    This game looked really promising at first but its just so buggy and glitchy espically when your in combat and its just not fun at all to play . Such a wasted potential because it has some great ideas. Just executed badly and now that its known to be such a failure of a game it makes me not even wanna play it again. Story, and everything was bad. Pass on it

    love this game a lot. i only give it a 9 because the prologue was so slow and boring it almost made me stop playing. but i held on and once i got out of the prologue it got pretty fun. i love the characters, the world, the story and the gameplay. gameplay is so much fun. all and all even with all the bugs, this game feels worth it.

    Despite the glitches that initially happened, the game was amazing. The storyline and the amount of variations in the plotline, based on your choices you made was amazing. The graphics were at times low quality but my gameplay experience was among the best I ever had.

    You would probably ask can it go worse, I say yes, because the marketing of ps4 version was based on lies. CDPR told us that the game looks fine on consoles, they took a month to make the game stable on all platforms, and "strangely" no one have seen console versions before release. If I saw DF review in the morning I wouldn't spent 60$ on this bunch of code, but it was released after I left the store, and it was already evening here.
    If this was the best CDPR can do on console, they should cancel it, a made it PRO/Next Gen exclusive. I had a developers message in the box on the game, but it should be on the box, saying, sorry for now it's unplayable, we fix it in a year though if you want to support us now you can buy it.

    To sum it all up the worst is "The Great CDPR" scammed us 41% of their customers, and even EA, Activision or Ubisoft never done something that despicable. Hope that their next game would be unlaunchable, because it would be so great, people are unworthy to play it.

    Thank you CDPR for you are the company that thinks about how to scam your customers.

    Update 1.06: Delamain quest broken, and can't be finished, game crashes became more rare? like once in 1,5 hour, and then around 0,5 hours. ONLY 4 romantic lines in the game (1 for every gender)!!! No upgrade system in the game, just a bunch of unworking perks. Quests are boring and you need to complete around 200 of this boring police quests and GiGs. Races are disgusting, arrows load below you, enemies teleport, sometimes forward. For now still a technical disaster
    Finished the game 1.06, couldn't finish Delamain, 5 interesting side quests in the whole game, endings are primitiive and unsatisfying. Final score 2.0. However, i'm giving this game an 8 because it is missing features that just should not be missing in an open world RPG. The game does not have customizable vehicles, no barber shops, a lack of food restaurants, no activities like snooker or races (races are in the game but they are tied to a side mission with Claire, it would be cool to see V continue racing even though Claire quits. You could race with Judy as your partner for example.) The gameplay is serviceable, its not this whole new experience but its fine. The hacking mechanic, while cool, is not very useful. Or at least it wasn't to me. The crafting is mediocre, its nothing new but i did use it a fair few times for upgrading my weapons and armor. The AI is fine on harder difficulties, a bit like the Witcher 3. Playing this game on the hardest difficulty is probably the best way to experience the game. However, the police Ai is stupid. They literally spawn behind you. The water also does not react when you shoot it. When you park a car infront of another car with someone inside, the person will just stay there. They dont move around the parked car. I do not think for one second that CDPR don't have talented people to implement working police AI and actual smart Ai, because they do. But come on, how did they release the game knowing this?

    Overall, Cyberpunk could never reach the hype CDPR set for themselves, from misleading advertisements, to missing features cyberpunk was bound to disappoint many. However, the story and characters make this game worth the buy in my opinion. However, i recommend getting this on PC or at least wait until you get a next gen console because from what I have heard, the performance on last gen consoles is awful.    … Expand

    if you think, that CD RED announced Cyberpunk 2077 around 8 years ago and compare the actual result to that fact. I guess, it means they basically haven't done anything.     Ubisoft launches every 2 year a new AC title, which in my opinion is a far better product than CP (At this point of time). I am not sure what really went wrong but honestly, i lost my trust in this company. After spending almost 200h on The Witcher 3, combined with the promotion and marketing and the promises of CD RED regarding CP 2077, i maybe did expect a little bit too much but maybe not though. i don't know, but this could have been THE BEST GAME ever and not a downgrade. But it is just another Anthem, No Mans Sky, and so on..

Blue screen crashes every hour or so, textures not loading properly and the graphics overall are worse than they used to be on ps3.     First, even on PS5, there are numerous bugs which for me wasn't game breaking, but annoying after some time. Subtitles hanging on screen, random explosions and a very dumb AI throw you out of this dark future America. However, if you ignore the Bugs the Game is stunning beautiful. You will find yourself intrigued by most areas and smaller details, like a tree build inside a building or a parade accompanied by colourful holograms. The story is, despite being short in its parts where your choices really matter, very well written with interesting characters and brushes deep and important questions. Side Quests and job are also interesting, but your choices there are almost irrelevant. But the diverse characters compensate for that weakness. References to Pop culture are a bit excessive for me, but this depends on your taste.

    The Gameplay is okay, but nothing great. While your choices how to tackle a level are vast, neither the leveling mechanic nor the items/inventar or the item build mechanic are of great importance. You have to be careful not to waste countless hours in your inventory to sort the countless items you get. You will only use let's say up tp 6 weapons the entire game, don't waste your time, choose early and then sell everything else. Supply of Healing Items is excessive, hope it will be patched, because after 100 hours you will have approximately 400 healing items left which heal your wounds instantly. Makes this game except a special boss fight very easy. But even this Boss fight was buggy for me, so after some time it was stuck on a pixel and i was able to just stand and shot. There is much unused potential for CD Projekt Red here.

    And yes, you can customize your genitals in this game. Though, you will only see them in your inventory screen. Your sexual partners aren't commenting on them, you will not see them one time in a sex scene and you can not drive a motorcycle naked and be stopped by the police, because you will always wear an underwear. This makes it so useless and deprives the players of so many funny possibilities that I'm not sure why they bothered animating this.

    Comment on the police: They will find you. In this game they pop out of nowhere when you shoot people considered civilians, even though they should not know where you are. Their AI is as bad as for the cars: they aren't able to drive around your parked cars, even if only two pixels protrude to the street. But I'm sure they will fix all the issues in the future. At least I hope. In a time, where the hotfixes don't need other hotfixes.

    But despite all those flaws, this game was fun for me. But I can't deny all the unused potential here. My advice: Wait for a PS5/ Extended Version. At least wait 6 months to a year and see if they progressed. Then you will find a funny and well build game.    … Expand

No, at the the core of this game, it is something special. There is a fantastic game here, just one issue. But, I will get to that later. I will talk about positives. Like I said, the story was way more compelling than I thought it would be. The promo made it seem like it was going to be pure edgelord futuristic stuff, but there are some very emotional moments. Cute little moments that will make you smile, to very dark and introspective moments that will get you thinking more. There are great themes about power, corruption, corporation, what it means to be human, hope. Another big surprise was how fantastic these side quests were. I am not exaggerating when I say that this game had some of the most quality side quests in any game I have played in recent memory. The writing and characterization was also really good too. I don't know how they did it, but a good portion of the characters were so likeable. The only character I was letdown with was Johnny Silverhand, and it is mostly with his performance by Keanu Reeves. Keanu seems like such a nice guy, but his performance here was kind of flat. It is sad because the character himself has a lot of depth. At first he just comes off as a jerk that just makes fun of you, but after a while he becomes someon that you grow a significant attachment to. I just wish they would have directed him more to have a more compelling performance. The gunplay was also surprisingly fun, along with the melees and what you can do with your cybernetics. My only gripe with the gameplay was that the driving kind of sucked. Most of the time I would have rather just walked to my objectives, or walk to a fast travel point to go nearby the objective. On the basis of the things I love about this game, I would have given this game a 9, maybe a 10 on a good sunny day. With that being said, I gave this game a 3 for a reason.
    This is where I talk about the big buggy elephant in the room: the technical performances. The technical performances are honestly god awful. While my experiences were not as bad as people's during launch, it was still a pain to go through. I'm talking random deaths when I platform, healthbars of bosses I already killed not leaving my screen, people I call that won't hangup, and don't get me started with the crashes. For context, I played this game on a PS5. I put in a good 70 hours in my playthrough where I did all the side gigs, the NCPD crime activity missions, and the main story itself. During that playthrough, I must have had at least 20 crashes. Some of these crashes would happen at a point in the game where it was a moving moment. For example, at the game credits, the characters you meet will all send you cute voicemails sending their regards. I was enjoying this little moment until my game just crashed for no reason. I am forgiving when it comes to minor technical issues, but this game was really testing my patience. It was almost like it did not want me to have fun at some points.
    Another thing I am disappointed with was how CDPR managed to tell so many lies about this game. I was so excited about things that were teased such as more interaction with the city, property buying, etc. Most of these things did not show up at the end. While Night City is a pretty beautiful setting, something about it just doesn't feel right. I feel like Night City is more dead than it was planned to be. I was ready to immerse myself and enjoy the setting, but I just ended up forgetting about it and went ahead with the story.
    With this being said, I have hope this game will be better. It will need a lot though. I am hoping this game will be completely different by the end of the year, with the PS5 upgrade, the DLCs, and especially the patch updates. I also hope the DLCs expound more on the endings. I got the star ending, which is considered the best, yet it was still very much bleak and moving. Feels like it is a story worth continuing.
    While I had lots of fun, it was a frustrating experience. I hope that later this year, I can return to this game, and have a way better experience. Maybe it will get the 9 it should have gotten before.    … Expand

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
