Disabling sales of games for the Russian Federation in your opinion is a great idea? Why drag politics into games? After all, someday you will still return games to the RU segment, but the question is, who will buy games from you after this? I will never pay a dime for your games again.

Played first after the 1.5 patch, and I think it is a great game. The story is really great and pulls you right in, very immersive. It’s sad that probably a lot of people won’t give it a chance after the awful launch. Honestly, it became one of my favourite games of all time.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Loved the Game but it's 2022 now and there's still a **** ton of Glitches and bugs the a New update needs to drop
Don't get me wrong I loved 2 out of the 4 endings ( wasn't able to do the other 2) but The Delamain missions are Insanely buggy that I completely had to them last compared to the others ( I haven't completed all of them due to the bugs being in the way) Now for the final mission ( I chose the Johnny and Rogue on my first play threw) Destroying the bots/ drones you can't pick up components due to a glitch which sucks cause those come useful when upgrading snipers and pistols. Besides the Glitches threw out the game the game is Fing amazing

A beautiful game, no bugs AT all, all the missions work extremely well and are well polished
no repeating types of side missions and really immersive, i really liked how everyone disappeared when i turned around in that one mission it really sold it for me, i also liked how the npcs all were inside different objects and they all t posed it really strengthened the immersion for me

The world is still sparsely populated and it is odd, but it still works. I guess it was the promises of a "living and breathing world" is where it falls apart. There are very few vehicles on the road and the car, I only have the first one, handle exceptionally poorly.
The bugs are intermittent, but noticeable. In a very early scene V is holding a body across their lap, and the physics didn't like that very much. Most recently I encountered some enemies in an area with some grass, and rather than walk through the grass, they ran across the tips of the grass, that and the old "T" stance shows up every now and then.

The reality is, now, the game is no worse than a Bethesda RPG, even after its been re-released 5 times. The problem is the over promising and under-delivering. Cyberpunk 2077 is the epitome of over ambition, and it needed another couple of years in the oven.

I endeavor to finish, hopefully more than once. There's an amazing game here with some really special ideas and for $NZ36.00 I don't think you can go wrong.

Storia: a me è piaciuta molto, immersiva e profonda.
The attention to detail is sometimes even offensive - look at the NPSs glasses or shoes ... Humor is also fun in some places (the AI boss of a taxi corporation is a masterpiece).

WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE ABOUT ??? I am already playing 17h and I did not encounter any significant error or drop in animation ...

If you treat the game as a GTA-style sandbox where you just drive & shoot carnage. Sorry. This is not what CP2077 is about. This is not a game for players like that.

Strong 10/10 for me. Whining of the GTA/fortnite community does not change anything here.

I should also note that I am going to list loads of negative critiques about Cyberpunk 2077, which may at times seem to contradict my overall favorable rating of the game. That is simply because the game is massive, made for investing tons of hours into it, multiple playthroughs and features the largest map I've seen in a video game. Something that big can absorb a lot of tough criticism. What it cannot absorb are endless amounts of bugs, constant crashes and glitchy systems within the game.

I think I will begin there, as performance is Cyberpunk's biggest problem by far. This game made me feel like I was playing something I shouldn't have been playing, like I'd somehow stumbled across a preview build of the most anticipated game of the year that was meant for internal testers. It bothers me every time I stop to appreciate the breathtaking map of Night City that the game was released in the state it's in, where phone calls can overlap and play dialogue on top of one another, where Judy, one of the coolest NPCs I've ever come across, can clip through walls, where I'm more familiar with the Playstation 5 crash screen than I am with the month-old console itself. Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that fights against itself. To enjoy it in the state it currently exists in, requires patience, but even then, it is difficult to come to terms that a game that spent so many years in development, was delayed multiple times and clearly cost many millions of dollars to make, was ultimately thrown out to the wolves by its own developer.

What's bad about Cyberpunk isn't as bad as that fact. That does not forgive it for its flaws, though they do pale in comparison. In order to properly discuss its' failings, I have to highlight the game's greatest success, which is its' setting. CD Project Red nailed Night City. It looks like no other open world game I've played. Its' art style appeals to me on every level. The city tells its' own story every time you take sight of it. It's overrun with advertisements, corporate greed on clear display, with seedier sections of the city that show its' neon-lit look lures to kill.

The setting is so fully realized, yet undercut by lacking interaction by the NPCs that inhabit it. Poke at any pedestrian and you'll quickly be reminded that the AI responsible for animating it is extremely limited. NPCs that are nearby the constant gunfights that players will participate in on Night City's open streets will appropriately run and cower, most of the time. But even after all the bullets have been emptied, they'll remain ducked down, stuck in a state of fear, shaking. They won't stand back up, thank you in the event you neutralized a threat to their lives or well, do anything. They kind of just stay there, scared, forever.

Police officers spawn out of thin air in the event players commit any crimes, yet quickly stop their pursuit as soon as you cut a corner. No one, whether it's a beat cop or a big group of gangmembers will chase after you if you hop in a car and flee from any fight. Pacifica, a neighborhood in Night City that is so unsafe law enforcement doesn't even go there, felt like a huge let down for me when I had my first mission there, with my shotgun and sword equipped, only to realize that it didn't offer any trouble on its “dangerous” streets that I wasn't looking to find. No one robbed me. No one gunned me down. No one really noticed me at all, unless I wanted them to.

The underdeveloped sense of interactivity with the huge open world really makes Cyberpunk 2077 feel quite dated. I mean, there were things I'd done in Gran Theft Auto: Vice City that I couldn't do in Cyberpunk 2077.

The game, therefore, fails to be "the future of open world games" some billed it as. However, I do find it innovative, just in a way I didn't expect. It's excellent dialogue is so realistic, not just in the way it is written, but how interactive it is. NPCs do not drop everything they're doing just to talk to you, nor do they need to be at point blank range to have a conversation with you. You are free to move or look around mid-conversation and so are they. Dialogue, which is a major component of Cyberpunk's gameplay, doesn't feel like a video game. It doesn't sound like one either. It's natural, an achievement I hope more games strive for going forward.

There is more good I could mention about Cyberpunk 2077 (the engaging story, great combat, character depth). There is more bad I could mention about Cyberpunk 2077 (the wonky driving, cumbersome crafting system, underwhelming customization). I'm not sure which would outweigh the other. However, I do think that if a beautiful, buggy role-playing game made me feel like I was actually playing the role of a badass mercenary and constantly entertained me for two weeks, I think it did something right, something incredible.

The open world is bland and boring. The UI is unintuitive and just one big cluster. Your character model in the inventory screen looks like it was created in 1995. The customization options are horrible. The side missions and 'gigs' are repetitive and mind numbing.

Cyberpunk 2077 had the potential to be an awesome action RPG but somewhere in development it was lost. It is clear that this game is unfinished. What a AAA flop that rode in on the hype train! What we have here folks is one shiny chocolate dipped turd of a game! I definitely do not recommend Cyberpunk in the current state it is in.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Graphics: A bit of a mixed bag with pop-in aplenty, glitches everywhere and models falling through each other all the time. Then I see the city from the desert at sunset and my breath is stolen. When done correctly, the game is beautiful, truly breathtaking but it is let down by the engine.
Gameplay: Here is the issue, the gameplay at its core is great with good loot and crafting, solid combat and fun missions. Problem is, the glitches. I have missions that don't close, people who won't give rewards, waypoints failing to populate and retries as enemies disappear into scenery making them inaccessible.
Overall, I loved the story but it was ruined by simply being too broken to be fun to play. Heck, I had to restart the epilogue section twice as voices and text kept skipping! Disappointing to play but I have been left with a deep sense of satisfaction over the story.

You guys complain about bugs in new games but never think about, that cyberpunk or bf2042 for example are totally new games/codes.
Developing completely new games is a lot heavier than just copying the old game code and adding a new world ( COD, old Battlefields, assassins creed and many more AAA games) and we should thank them for creating new games and not insult them bc of bugs or someday there will be no more new creative games bc of the thankless community.

For those who don’t know anything about cyberpunk: for me it’s a mix between GTA and Watchdogs in a futuristic setting.

    What did they promise?

A lively open and interactive world (BETTER THEN RDR2, GTA5). Where you can eat, steal, dance, drink, go into apartments, where there are mini games, interaction with furniture, the ability to change appearance. Create new AI for Police, Gangs, NPC. Paths - its a biggest joke....

it's been almost a year and they haven't done anything at all. It's the same dead world that you can't interact with. The three stories of the character do not affect anything, the gangs are meaningless, the NPCs see themselves as if they are from the games of the 90s.

I stuck mainly to the main story without playing too many of the side missions. I chose to pursue the ending with Rogue & it was a much better ending than the stock ending I got the first time around. However, I fell deeply in love with the game, because: 1) The quests are interesting, thoroughly designed and not trivial. The world around you is worth exploring and characters are all different. You always have to make different choices.
    2) I have never liked games with first-person view, but in Cyberpunk it gives you a deeper immersion into that new world and its atmosphere. 3) The soundtracks are great! (I really like them during battles) 4) The game controls are very convenient, even during the shooting it is easy to aim on PlayStation which I have never seen before. 5) They use strong language all the time and I love it!

Even back in the day I thought some people were easily overreacting about some of the alleged problems this game was supposed to be overloaded with. Now, I'm not saying the were not existent in the game, but i myself haven't come across a huge range of them. Game crashed twice in the 70 hour run I had with this title, which is still more than it ever should (and than any other game besides Fallout 76 did), but it wasn't THAT bad. A few graphical glitches here and there and an AWFUL framerate when driving through city's centre with lots of texture pop-in, I can't deny that. But none of that was a problem for me as I was so drawn into the story of the game. To be honest, there are only a few other titles I had this much fun with. Gameplay was great, I didn't feel bored once all this time and I couldn't imagine it being any better. Many people told themselves that Cyberpunk 2077 was going to be messiah of gaming, a true competitor to franchises such as Grand Theft Auto, Fallout and much more. In their minds, it was supposed to not only be a great story, but also an adventure filled with police chases, night life and all of that jazz. I, on the other hand, had never thought of Cyberpunk in these regards and that might be the reason why I love it so much. The story is captivating, there was so much thought put into creation of the world, the gameplay feels just so... right, and the visuals can be stunning on newer hardware. It's simply unbelievable how bad of a reputation this game got because of the technical shape it was released in. 8/10 on PS4/Xbox One, but easily 10/10 on next-gen consoles. Expand

It's a great game but the bugs really take their toll..Other amazing innovative games like Fall out and KKD had bugs but not this bad..The worst thing is they get worse the longer you play, soI would pass on the ps4 versions, it's playable on 1X but still riddled with bugs...If possible wait for the fixed next gen or PC versions, if the game ever works properly it will be worth the wait. I love a lot of the characters and side stories, as well as the interesting things hidden off the beaten path. I only wish that there was more of it. The world is largely empty and shallow in spite of the freedom of movement. This is the least interactive RPG that I have played in years, and many elements are merely fluff and flash. I had 41 crashes the first week, and haven't bothered counting them since... The bugs--oh, man--the bugs... Recent patches have made small improvements, but the fundamental flaws have yet to be touched. Hopefully, we'll see a completed version of CDPR's premature baby at some point, but for now, I'd avoid it like an Anthrax wetnap. This is fairly easy on Playstation if you're late to the party, because Sony removed the digital version until further notice. Still: If you're something of a masochist--or possess a tremendous amount of patience, then there is quite a bit of fun to be had in Night City and The Badlands. Just keep your expectations low.

2021 edit: The game is now mostly stable on a PS4 Pro, but still suffers from low visual fidelity, major hiccups, and technical problems. The most common bugs have been addressed, pointless DLC has been released (free jackets,) and the mediocrity has never been more obvious. If you do decide to play, then I suggest waiting until the PS5 version is released. Otherwise, wait for a deep sale. ($30 or less)

    Characters are great too
I play this game on my PS5 and it works really good, but sometimes bugs appear. Waiting for PS5 patch.

If I played this on a regular PS4, I would definitely be giving this a lower score. But really, it's a lot better if you play on PS5. It's less glitchy, and I was able to get more out of it with it's interesting story and cool characters. It's still not perfect. But nearly a year after launch, it's certainly stepped up a bit.

Great RPG with a first person view. Similar games at the moment just does not exist. The closest analogue that I can remember is VTM: Bloodlines from the distant 2003.

Played this game at launch on a base model PS4 for a couple of hours.
That part is ancient history, so lets skip ahead 6 months shall we?

Sure, the game is not at peak performance but Night City at dusk is still a beautiful view when I ride my bike up into the hills.

You will meet rogue AI's, atypical religious fanatics, and a moody bozo with a grenade for a nose.
If that's all too much you can stop roadside for some peaceful meditation.
Some NPC's stories are hilarious, and others downright depressing. Optional data shards strewn throughout will key you in to background stories behind the people that dwell there and you can interact with every NPC in some way.
The scale of the world building is impressive. You never know what you're going to come across next.

Cyberpunk is an enjoyable adventure whether you prefer gunplay, explosions, stealth or melee in any combination.

The main bugs still present are a handful of crashes (I've had perhaps a dozen - often after long sessions) - but the manual and auto saves at each key moment mean I rarely have to retrace my steps. The other minor issues still present are occasional clipping or dialog bugs, and vehicles popping in and out.
(I believe many of these issues have been ironed out on the current gen platforms)

I recommend playing this game on a current gen system if you have a choice. But given I'm invested in an older console I don't regret the purchase in the slightest.

The game easily eclipses all this with an immersive world and a vast range of intriguing characters.
If you're here for a good story and fluid combat you're going to have a good time.

tldr; you can drive an imitation batmobile, own a talking gun and adopt a cat.
Night City is a ride worth experiencing.

So to preface, I played this on a PS5, running the PS4 app, starting from launch.

At launch it crashed alot, maybe once every couple of hours, but that's pretty much solved now - in my last twenty or so hours of play for example I've had one crash, well within normal limits. This is a game that I feel is far greater than the sum of its parts. The way its quests are dished out, and the narrative of those quests were exemplary, the animation work is absolutely top notch, and, the combat is well above competent - guns are snappy and stylish and just great fun to use. I also really enjoyed stealth, especially on higher difficulties, when you combine stealth and hacking its like playing a totally different game. Possibly my favourite open world, and a fantastic one to traverse, either by foot, by rooftop or by car. I know it's trendy to dog pile this game, especially the last gen console ports but if you've got a PS4 or 5 I can absolutely reccomend this - there's something here for everyone. Also soundtrack slaps, like it slaps both of my a§§ cheeks at the same time I also

I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive. Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
