    This game, in this state, is completely broken: lots of bugs and crashes. Impossible to play, and show us an absurd downgrade. Cd projekt red presents us a huge disappointment, caused by the nonfulfillment of everyone's hopes and expectations.

    I was selling yesterday my PS4 ane showed the buyer Ghost of Tsushima - what a beatiful game it was. Few hours later I started playing Cyberbug on my PS5 - and it's just pathetic.

    I have this for both Pc and PS4 and I have to say don't bother with the PS4.
    What I could play before my OG Ps4 started to practice flying was a slow, buggy, untextured mess.
    This is unacceptable, but in all honesty this is what I expected. Do not buy this for now, hopefully they will patch the game soon.
    Will also review the Pc version when I have the time, but it is better actually works.

    with current state of game beyond the main menu game is blurry,muddy and unplayable!
    This is Huge Disappointment and I cant Believe they give players unfinished product ( early access on consoles ) with full price!

    While I have not experienced any crashes (as of yet) MANY people have. The thing that makes this game atrocious on console (especially on PS4 and XBox One systems) is that the resolution is very low and the image is very blurry. The resolution being 720p isn't the worst thing ever. Many games I love are in that resolution or even lower, but the blurry images kill the ability for this gameWhile I have not experienced any crashes (as of yet) MANY people have.     Aside from graphics, the gameplay and non-main story quests are boring, clunky, and uninspired. Again, I could compare them to Fallout 3 and/or New Vegas. Those games felt interesting and, while the gunplay was nothing to write home about, it was serviceable. CP2077's gunplay is nigh infuriating at points. Aiming is pinpoint accurate which makes landing a shot with ranged weapons a chore rather than an enjoyable challenge. Melee combat is flat and stale as the combos are clunky and repetitive. This is especially true for hand to hand combat. Weapons are more tolerable, but unarmed combat is... painfully implemented.

    The game was clearly optimized for a PC with consoles being and afterthought, and that is being generous. The false advertising involving consoles and the deliberate blocking of console gameplay CD Projekt RED enforced upon reviewers before release are atrocious tactics that would be utilized by the corporations that CP2077's world rails so heavily against.    … Expand

    Bought it on Day 1 on base PS4. You might ask why i did it? Well it's because I trusted CD Project, i trusted them when they multiple times told that the game runs surprisingly well on base platforms, i guess you know where that went. Yes, the game never could have runned on base platforms as well as on next gen consoles and PC, but what we got was nothing but insulting, the game isBought it on Day 1 on base PS4. You might ask why i did it? Well it's because I trusted CD Project, i trusted them when they multiple times told that the game runs surprisingly well on base platforms, i guess you know where that went. Yes, the game never could have runned on base platforms as well as on next gen consoles and PC, but what we got was nothing but insulting, the game is unplayable, even after 1.1 patch, nor i expect that 1.2 patch will do much. For now I only could go through 3 hours of this mess and i shall not subject myself to it any more. If patch 1.2 will actually make this playable i will update this review with a new score, but for now you get what you deserve. Shame on you CD Red.
    Edit: It's april 23th, patch 1.21 has been released. Current state of the game - unplayble, literally, the state of the game is still pathetic, those patches did nothing for current gen console. Don't buy this game, even if its sold for 30$, it's not even worth getting for free.    … Expand

    Terrible on PS4. Graphics are underwhelming, countless glitches and crashes. Developers better fix this. Right now after 5 hours of play the crashes make this game unplayable. Game doesn't live up to the hype. NPCs are terrible as they have mundane 1 line responses when you talk to them. Watchdogs Legion ten times a much better interactive open world game

    I’m playing on the PS4 Pro and my experience has been very disappointing. The game crashes every 90 - 120 minutes, which forces me to replay a lot of missions. I’ve encountered bugs where guns don’t fire when aiming down the sights. There is no excuse for this.

    Horrible frame rate in low teens, 720p resolution, literally millions of bugs, dishonest developer advertising as the game does not match videos and screenshots shown, frequent crashes, game runs incredibly poorly, and due to all of the above the game is not fun at all. This isn't a game; it's a mess and the developer owes the entire gaming community a big apology.

    Character creator is beautiful and fun, everything afterwards is a buggy framey mess, game runs around 10fps in even the lightest of combat. Literally unplayable.

    Broken, unfortunately. Which is the only time a game ACTUALLY deserves a zero.

    Hiding the console version from reviewers was a scummy move by the developer. Keeping in mind that the last-gen version is the ONLY console version that they have released so far, they haven't even released the PS5/SeriesX version yet. But it's a disaster on the PS4 consoles that they released it specifically for.

The pixel effect is so bad that, my eyes started to strain. If CDPR had come out saying the game is not made for PS4, I would have been more happy and bought this game for PS5.     The game is really fun... when it works(approximately half the time). This game is a HUGE mess, not even close to ready for release. They just shouldn't have even released it for ps4 since they knew that it didn't work.

    Horribly optimised game with horrendous frame rate issues, freezing and crashing issues. Unplayable and should be avoided. Gun controls are absolutely trash as well! I sold this game and it's the best decision I have made.

I'm running the PS4 version on a PS5 . and to be honest it doesn't even look like it's good enough to be PS4 graphics. The whole game looks a bit fuzzy and somehow unfocused, if you look at it next to say, Ghost Of Tsushima, there's no comparison. GOT looks vibrant and sharp, CP2077 looks almost blurry. Bugs wise, as you well know, there are MANY! and in all aspects and areas of the game. the main ones i've noticed recurring have been: parked vehicles whose wheels disappear into the floor, almost all NPCS are glitchy and move very strangely, they also are almost entirely pointless. they do very little and say very little and almost seem like set dressing. which completely ruins the immersion of being in crowded city. I've had the camera frozen whilst driving, making it impossible to leave first person view (first person driving is terrible by the way) required restarting the game. Missions i was unable to complete because a door would glitch and not open, trapping me in a building with no other exit (again, requiring a quit and restart) generally buggy characters and vehicles and some truly awful pop in and texture problem. Overall, as much as i hate to say it, This game should not have been released yet, and should probably never have been promised to the PS4/XBOX one generation. I'm not going to go into the RPG elements and general gameplay as you've probably already had your fill of all those details, and as an RPG is has all the mechanics you'd expect and they function on the whole as they should. But the overall look and performance of the game is just not at all what it should be and it's this that ruins any good points about the game. Cyberpunk 2077 is unfortunately just not very good at all and performance wise, is in a very poor state indeed.

Игра абсолютно не играбельна: баги, просадки фпс, артефакты, запоздания отображения интерфейса, глитчи, вылеты, еще раз баги. (На момент написания вышел фикс 1.04, который еще только качается, что будет после него - неизвестно) Оптимизация... Ее здесь нет и ей здесь не пахнет. Самая сильная часть этой игры - музыка и персонажи(!!!СПОЙЛЕР!!! Конкретно Джеки, которого вы умудрились убить практически в самом начале, дак еще и заспойлерили эту сцену в трейлере 2018 года, спасибо) На счет звука - он действительно хорош, особенно в наушниках, но это пока единственное, за что можно похвалить игру... Пока что. Итого:1 балл за сеттинг, 1 балл за музыку, 1 балл за персонажей, минус 1 балл за оптимизацию и баги, минус 1 балл за !!!СПОЙЛЕР!!! смерть Джеки, убили самое хорошее в этой игре = 1 балл, заслуженный, поздравляю, CDPR.… Expand

But what they did PS4 and XBOX ONE gamers was not just disrespectful but also a huge disappointment for all of us. I'm giving it a 0 because CDPR needs to realize what they did andI'm deeply sad.     11months later, game still has major issues when playing. Textures not loading up, music cutting out and in, just weird **** happening all the time. This game is worth 10bucks if you ask me, not $90 what I paid for.

    I don't like giving review of a game I haven't finished, or at least played a good chunk of the game, but I still thinks people should know, and deserves to know about the problems this game has, I was playing on a PS4 Pro.     - I could barely hit 20 fps most times.
    - Alot of things that need to be in the game, is just not there, like barber shop, a better crafting system, and a mini map that you can use when you are driving, or even a AI.

    The story for the few hours I have seen looks promising, but I can't say if I hate it or like it yet.

    I will wait to play this game, to when I get my hands on a Ps5 with a stable 60 fps, and hopefully by then alot of bugs fixes, and performance fixes have been made.

    The reason I give it a 2 and not a 0 or 1 is that I see potential in the game, just not in the state it is in now.

    CDPR used to have my utmost support. But there is no excuse for this. This game is unfinished, and a total sham. Congratulations on duping thousands of people out of money during a pandemic during covid for something that is simply not good enough. I will be waiting 6-12 months to see if 1. You fix it and 2. Don't charge full price. What a joke.

    PS4 Pro. Покупая игру, думал что на простой версии ПС4 могут быть проблемы, но у меня пс4 про и когдя я увидел это мыло то был шокирован. И что самое смешное даже это мыло периодически жутко тормозит, даже в помещениях!
    Я конечно понимаю что разработчики официально извинились и пообещали в феврале поправить.... но к этому февралю мне уже будет не важны эти изменения, тк игра уже будет    PS4 Pro. Покупая игру, думал что на простой версии ПС4 могут быть проблемы, но у меня пс4 про и когдя я увидел это мыло то был шокирован. И что самое смешное даже это мыло периодически жутко тормозит, даже в помещениях!

Technical issues such as performance, sound, and graphic makes this game horrifying at whole level of all those aspects.     A Marketing trap and lies!! The biggest disappointment in the end of 2020. The Game was never ready for the beginning. The game crashes , have wear texture and graphics, frame rate dropped and Freezes. This was never design for console in the first place. False advertisement!!

    This is horrible. We should be getting refunds. the graphics are poor, rendering is trash, it takes 3-5 seconds for faces to load in. Random lag spots and frequent crashes. This is a crime and it's called fraud.

    Très mauvais jeu. L' opposé de The Witcher 3.
    Impossible de se mettre dans la peau du personnage tellement l' écriture est mauvaise.
    Les missions sont insipides et sans relle intérêt. La mission principale est dénuée de tout tension et suspense.
    Une belle nullité en somme.
    Je donne 2 pour le temps de travail.
    C'est une honte de vendre ce jeu à 70.-

    Many technical problems. Low FPS, sometimes it takes a while to load the textures. Many sites look pixelated. Other aspects of the game are fine, but this one in particular sincerely makes the experience not as expected.

    What should be a very pleasant experience turned out to be unplayable even on PS4 Pro. The resolution is so low it literally hurts the eye.

    For the first time in my life, even with de 60 dlls invested, i just quit. Im not even angry. I just dissapointed.

    I recomend everyone expecting adquire this game to wait for the patches fixing almost everything on PS4 and Xbox One

With my review here I want to focus on the story or lack there of.

    I hate how Cyberpunk just throws you into its world without any sort of explanation of anything. I wanted to give the game a chance because I heard it opens up after a few hours. I just got to Act 2 and I have no desire to keep playing. Because nothing about the game makes me want to continue. The first 7 hours are pretty much like this.

    You start working for Guy X, that job goes wrong, so you start working with Guy Y, then you get a job with Guy Z, who needs you to talk with Girl X so that you can get Object Q from Guy R... I was immediately lost as to who any of these people were and why I should care about any of them. There is absolutely no backstory to these characters. For example, something happens to one character early in the game and I didn't care at all because the game gave me no reason to care about the character. You practically know nothing about them.

    Every mission I was like, "Wait, what am I doing? Who is this for?" The game grabs you by the arm and yanks you along without giving you any time to get your bearings. It piles mechanic after mechanic on top of you without giving you enough time to get the hang of them.

    I’m 8 hours in now and I am so detached from every character in this game (including my own), that I could care less about what happens next. This is mainly due to the narrative dragging you along without really providing any substance to the characters you are introduced to. There is not enough backstory or context for V other than "night city is a harsh environment but I want to be famous/successful/remembered".

    All the characters know V, and have some kind of backstory with V, but everyone but me (the player) knows V. So it's fricken boring to play. It doesn't help that V isn't a very interesting character. Up until now, every character just monologues to V over and over again about this or that. It isn't even very interesting dialogue.

    What they should have done was two things. Make the character your own created character that you could name and adding more substance to the lifepath section. What the tutorial section SHOULD HAVE been. I like'd how in Witcher 3 you start in this pretty big area but it's not the main part of the game. It gets you used to the setting, characters, story, and mechanics. Instead in Cyberpunk you're just shown this little clipshow after your lifepath section to show how you sorta got where you are. Why didn't they just make that part the first 7 or 8 hours?

    Just cannot recommend anyone buy this game until they fix all the issues, the never ending bugs and pop ins and textures is just bad, I cannot stress enough how bad this game is, also for the devs (Management) to decieve customers by not showing us PS4 and Xbox versions is downright shady. I will never buy another game from CD PROJEKT RED for all the lies

    I have requested a refund from Sony for the first time in my life. This game is broken, playing on ps5 as well. The game hard crashes every hour, graphically shocking. I know loads of people love cd project red but the game is not ground breaking in any way. Gunplay not good. Story not the best I have played. RPG elements are broken. Poor driving. The arguments saying this is a new generation game should take a look at RDR2, a large open-world with a beautiful scenario and characters interacting directly or indirectly with the player.     Some people are suggesting that this game wasn't meant for the PS4, lets all remember the game was planned for release in August....

Graphics isn't everything but if this game can only give you PS3 quality graphics it's really disappointing.
    Other than glitches, the biggest problem is: this game brings nothing new. It's like a GTA5 simulator with some ideas from other games like Deus Ex. Skills are really streamlined and really not impressive, enemy AI is stupid, stealth system doesn't feel right. Hacking skills doesn't really help you. I mean if you have hacking skills you should be able to open some digital locks, like what's in other cyberpubk style games right? No you won't. The only thing you can do is damaging some foes, shutting down some defense system and all that. Enemies are alerted because someone died on the roof where absolutely nobody can see him. That's BS. Enemies doesn't analyze where the player is. When they want to check something out the only thing they will do is to check exactly where you are at, which again is really BS. They were heavily emphasizing on how you have multiple ways to achieve your objective, turns out in most cases the only option you really have is to shoot someone in the face. All I can say is that Deus Ex does a much better job in offering multiple options to achieve your goal.
    Also you guys know that in one of their trailers, they said your death has consequences. Turns out that's a lie. Or rather, that's what they were planning to do, not something they have already achieved. The only consequence of your death is that you need to reload your save data, i.e., no consequences at all.
    On and on is this game good? Yes, if you are a GTA fan this game might be what you want. Otherwise, not really.    … Expand

    This game’s hype was legendary. Sadly, it will go down as one the biggest failures of all time, gaming or otherwise. The bugs were annoying and completely unforgivable. It was so bad that now my strategy for all future releases of CD Project Red will be to wait at least 6 months before playing any of their games, if I don’t wait long enough to buy it at a 50% discount.

    Bugs aside, I came into this experience expecting something comparable to the Witcher 3. It was not. The main character was not someone I cared about; his companions I had little empathy for. The story and side quests were not captivating. The game itself was interesting enough to keep me moderately entertained for about 10 hours. The final 20 hours were a chore, and I stopped playing for a few months after the 20 hour mark. The only thing I liked about this game were the romance options. The relationship-building via quest chain was more fleshed out than other titles.    … Expand

After 1.04 FPS increased really slightly, around 2-3 fps more but visual bugs and game-breaking crashes remained. Never expected this sort of mess from CDPR. Huge disappointment. The only thing that was good about the game was its wholesome story and RPGSad that I finished the game on PlayStation 4 with the bad performance and frequent crashes. Though character customization was a bit lacking and there was no option to toggle on or off some pieces of cloth you wear. Even Immortals Fenyx Rising has an option to alter the appearance of the armor/clothes with other armor/clothes you find. Фпс постоянно ниже 20, текстуры прогружаются прямо на глазах, постоянные вылеты и невозможность запустить игру без отката сохранений - это лишь малая часть того, с чем вы столкнетесь.Игра очень хороша в плане сюжета и сайд квестов.     Regarding the game itself, while showing promise it is also greatly disappointing. It feels like it's 2009 and Borderlands came out, while being unplayable. It's full of NPCs that do nothing, AI is terribly stupid and the whole environment feels so hollow and soulless. It shows potential, some of the missions are kinda fun, but it gets ruined by the lack of depth. Or maybe they added too much depth, don't know. Stealth and melee combat on FPS is also not really working, who the f*** thought of that.

    Maybe they will manage to fix the terrible bug issues in a few months and let it become a functional game. I doubt though that it will live up to its hype. It feels soooo dated.    … Expand

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
