    Aside from the huge technical issues in the console versions, this game undelivers in pretty much every single area. The AI is maybe the worst AI I have seen in any game in recent memory, let alone a AAA title that has been hyped for 7 years. CDPR KNEW this and intentionally misled consumers.

    The game runs so poorly technically that it simply doesn't work, there's no other way of saying it. CDPR must have known this themselves, but they sold it anyway. Surprising and saddening that they would throw away all their built-up respect on a move like this. In practice a scam.

    Thx for 15 fps on playstation 4. Good game but bad optimization. Waiting for playstation 5 patch in 2021.

    This is a great game, sure there are a few bugs in the game, which Project Red admitted there would be, but a few hours in and I haven't once face any of the big bugs that people seem to be having. Would have been a 10 if it wasn't for the bugs.

    Not playable on base ps4. Started it up and it was so lagge and the graphics looked like ps2 game. Faces on npc looked like ps1 game

    Missable are getting me crazy, not to mention the unfixed bugs and false advertising. The “uncensored version” of the game is too vanilla. This could have been a game 10/10 but it’s a massive flop. I feel sorry for art team cause it’s a few of the only good things of the game. Also first person doesn’t quite fit this game.     Best game ever. really shows off how a group of talended polish can technically push videogames on consoles. CDPR's programmers should get a raise, imagine being a studio and not trying to steal them to get your hands on this fabulous AI.

    Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this game. It doesn’t worth our time at all. The game is broken as hell, has the most stupid AI ever, outdated graphics, very week and old game mechanics. A total mess and complete disaster. Did I mention the game has no new idea whatsoever?
    I have to confess I played only about 7 hours, but these are 7 hours I will never get back...

    PS4 BUYERS BEWARE! At the time of writing this review this is the situation on PS4: Texture streaming issues, FPS below 20, application crashes, NPCs glitches and bugs and horrible optimization. Do not waste your money, the game is currently unplayable on PS4. These are the issues nobody mentioned on their review.

    impossivel jogar, da crash toda hora no PS4. Pior jogo q já joguei na minha vida, Superman 64 da um pau nisso.
    A CDPR merece tudo q ta acontecendo e mais um pouco, por ter cometido esse crime contra os jogadores. o Jogo nao esta terminado, lançaram algo pela metade e só vai ficar pronto (se ficar) daqui uns anos.     One of the worst games I’ve ever played. Even 6 months after release and a whopping 3 30GB each patches, the game is almost in the same state it was upon release. Small improvement s, but for each of those, they create a NEW issue. They even warn people now from playing it on PS4 & PS4S which they as heck didn’t in the beginning and even in their warning, it’s hidden in a Twitter thread.One of the worst games I’ve ever played.     I don’t care how ambitious the game is. Aside from the graphics complaints that everyone has voiced over and over, the mechanics of the game are poorly done. Combat is not rewarding at all. Horrible gun play, horrible melee. No real interaction with environment. Just a knock-off, poor quality GTA set in the future.

    Its just unbelievable how CDPR LIED to their fans with the Ps4 version, purposely hiding the reviews of that version and confusing their buyers with the PC version.

    This puts CDPR in line with Ubisoft and EA in the bag of **** anticonsumer.corporations that i will never give my money again

Seriously you cant even go to an arcade and play games or hunt stuff or anything fun. Just shoot people...rinse and repeat. It is a missed opportunity like we've never seen. And this isnt like the last of us 2 which ran fine but had story issues. This game does not even run right now. And CDPR need to be ashamed for preventing journalists from seeing ps4 before launch.     There is a legitimate foundation here that could have provided one of the best video game experiences in many many years if not ever. Sadly what is great about this game only serves to shine the brightest of lights on what is horrible about it. Going forward dont expect RPG's CDPR. Expect "games" to be used as set ups for TV shows and disappointment. CDPR is dead.

The load times and amount of load screens on the PS5 are unacceptable! The game is buggy and there are FPS drops. Driving a car feels like you are sliding on ice!

    This is the first time I’ve ever gave a game a 0, but I feel I can’t give it anything else as when I tried it on my PS4 when it came out it just didn’t work, so I took it back and got refunded, I have a next gen consoles now and I will buy it for the ps5 or x box series x when it comes out, might be a very good game when it works who knows??

    I admit I haven't played this game and don't intend to, thanks to a myriad of technical issues (low frame rate, awful image quality, bugs, hitches, pop in, crashes) on last-gen consoles (more so on PS4/Xbox One than PS4 Pro/Xbox One X) as reported by several websites and tech specialists such as Digital Foundry. I don't intend to play this game on PC either because I don't have an RTXI admit I haven't played this game and don't intend to, thanks to a myriad of technical issues (low frame rate, awful image quality, bugs, hitches, pop in, crashes) on last-gen consoles (more so on PS4/Xbox One than PS4 Pro/Xbox One X) as reported by several websites and tech specialists such as Digital Foundry. I don't intend to play this game on PC either because I don't have an RTX 3080, which seems to be the bare minimum recommended GPU actually rather than a GTX 780.

    CDPR openly admit they launched a botched game and actively tried to deceive fans by not showing any real console footage in advance, instead focusing on showcasing the maxed out experience of the PC version in order to "wow" the audience and secure more pre-orders. In other words, they admit they scammed people as much as possible. Due to the growing backlash and PR disaster they offer refunds but also ask people to not refund the game too much as if they were a small indie studio lacking money such as Hello Games (they launched a similarly botched game with No Man's Sky back in 2016, but cash-strapped as they were they kept working on it and have released several patches and DLCs for free to this day, they deserve to be recognised for their effort to repair their game and heal their tarnished reputation). Pure hypocrisy by CDPR.

    If such a fan-favorite company like CDPR pulls this scam, then what should we expect from companies with questionable ethics such as EA, Activision, Take Two and Ubisoft?

    The framerate stutters as soon as you try to drive in the city while still not being very visually impressive (GTA V is graphically far more impressive). The story and gunplay while in buildings is kind of fun though but the amount of frame-rate drops sprinkled through this game really ruins it. It should have never been released in this state.     The mainline story is interesting and there is fun to be had in that but dont expect anything outside of that. The world is very un-organic, the people walking around in the city are totally boring and there is no interesting police-feature like the one in GTA V. You cant create chaos like you could in GTA V, it just sucks. The handling and driving of cars/bikes are quite poor in this game too - its ok to get you from point a to b, but again _nothing_ like the vehicles in GTA V.

    I ended up refunding this game when playstation offered it for everyone - I would'nt recommend this game on any console to anyone. If you want to play it, either get it on stadia (if you got a really good internet connection) or on PC if you got a high-end system at home. The console versions are just not how this game is supposed to be experienced    … Expand

    I hope to try it on a different console/pc to see if there is potential beneath it all, but on a PS4 you need to avoid it.

    Marketing for the game was great. The hype was there and even the intro came of as strong if you could forgive the graphics not being what you saw in the videos. But it ought to be fraud to take money for something this broken. CDPR is helping you with refunds and I think you should all take that chance and try again on a later console and version. It is going to be a hassle but please endure. If greed had not forced it to release on these consoles and instead had focused on next-gen, we wouldn't be in this mess..    … Expand

    Let us assume the game has zero bugs. the game itself is lifess . it barley touch the rpg elements. ps2 AI . the overall game feel like a weak cheap game. really it has major flaws in every aspect of the game.

    + Very nice city design and atmosphere with detailed environments.
    + Interesting story and many varied dialogue options.
    + decent acting.

    - Cluttered and confusing menus.
    - Politics and some woke themes forced in.
    - Horrendous Collison and driving physics
    - Glitches galore! Too many to mention, including game crashing!
    - limited side activities.
    - Some invisible walls during missions.
    - Police chases are very weak.

    I wanted to love this game, but there was just too many reasons to be disappointed. Maybe a complete edition will come out in a few years and fix this mess. Until then I give it a fail mark of 4/10.    … Expand

I knew going into this game it was going to be buggy. I didn't know that within playing it for 5 hours it would literally crash out of the game with error messages 4 times!! Even turning hdr off and EVERYTHING. else off. This is not acceptable.FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T SPRINT ANYWHERE!!     Wanted to give 7/10 after 1.03 patch, score declined to 5/10 after I have finished the game as i can confirm AI is the worst I have ever seen in my long gaming experience. The story is ok, the side missions are very uninspiring. I am giving 0/10 after patch 1.1 as it broke the game and you can not use weapon any more (you can't aim).

    El juego se ve bastante peor que prácticamente cualquier juego de PS4. El HDR está totalmente roto, en el propio menú, que básicamente es un fondo negro, al activarlo ya ves como el negro    Nos han vendido una ALPHA.
    Nunca había visto algo igual en más de 25 años jugando a videojuegos, menuda DECEPCIÓN. Decir que lo he probado en PS5 y a las 3 horas de juego he tenido que dejarlo. Gráficos:

En cuanto a resolución, no se a cuánto irá en PS5, pero se ve todo borroso. Cuando sales a la ciudad de día esto se hace aún más evidente, y además se junta con texturas de edificios que podrían ser perfectamente de PS3, otras que no cargan, carteles y edificios borrosos, etc, dando como resultado una sensación de estar jugando a una alpha a medio hacer.

    Juego:
    El desarrollo del personaje tiene muy buena pinta, y la historia también, pero ni de lejos es lo que los habían querido vender. La ciudad NO se siente viva, no puedes interactuar prácticamente con nada, hay poquísimos NPCs y además sin muy cutres, los del GTAV mismamente, están muy por encima, y los de RDR2 simplemente a años luz de estos, parecen maniquíes sin vida, además de una IA pésima.
    El juego está plagado de bugs, algunos “sin importancia”, como NPCs que atraviesan cosas, objetos flotando, prendas de ropa que desaparecen, pero otros afectan directamente a la jugabilidad, como policías que aparecen de la nada, la policía NO te persigue en coche, misiones que se bugean y no te dejan avanzar, constantes crasheos, etc.

    En resumen:
    La base del juego, como juego de acción/rol tiene buena pinta, pero le quedan meses de desarrollo, no se que habrá estado haciendo CD Pojekt estos 7 años, pero trabajar en la versión de consola segurísimo que no, no me extrañaría que con esta versión se hayan puesto este mismo año, lo que nos han vendido es un alpha a medio hacer. Debería ser denunciable sacar semejante basura al mercado. En mi caso, partida borrada y a esperar al parche next gen, porque esto en consola es injugable, y por supuesto, este es el último juego de CDProjekt que compro de lanzamiento.    … Expand

    The game runs really bad on a standard PS4, everything takes a long time to load, from textures to objects, it runs in low resolution and low framerate, and it's not even beautiful, a total disaster. CDPR tried to hide that until launch day and it's unacceptable.

    Still crashes every 30 minutes even playing v1.06 on PS5. World often feels empty, vacuous NPCs who don't even lip sync the little dialogue they've been given. Side quests are great though lots of variety and interesting stories. Shame it was released in this state.

    I personally wouldnt put it above Ghost of Tsushima based on the fact that GOT is a lovingly crafted game that never crashed on me once,
    has interconnected side missions that actually contribute to the story and

    I understand that Night City IS the main antagonist in Cyberpunk but that doesnt make it any nicer a world to exist in.
    GOT is a world that surrounds you with the brutality and beauty of nature.
    Night City is a hole of excrement that you can hardly blame Johnny for wanting to burn to the ground.
    I would be interested in knowing just how many people would ever choose to save it in a Life is Strange Bae or Bay type choice.
    I would bet a prosthetic limb or two that most would crater-ize it.
    In current year the adult content is cringeworthy and embarrassing and not needed in a video game.
    Think Custer's Revenge level idiocy.
    Adult toys are everywhere and after the original 3 second duration of 'lol benis'
    they become embarrassing and make the player wonder if it maybe isnt time to put the controller down and do something more worthy of your time.

    Gameplay wise it is in the vein of Bioshock or Deus Ex but set in a sub-GTA sandbox.
    I do not recommend this game.
    For all its strengths (the city looks nice-ish when it bothered to load up) it is not complete.
    Wait a year minimum and see if they can salvage this. Do not pay full price for this game. £20 max.

    Story and design wise i cant say its a bad game but the state it is still in after 7 months is inexcusable......i have had numerous hard crashes, a few quest breaking bugs and infinite visual errors that is just atrocious for any developer.
    But i have enjoyed the characters and the story its trying to tell but when i have to reset the game each hour i cant recommend this in the slightest.

    Dwa podejścia na ps5 i obywa zakończone niepowodzeniem. Za pierwszym razem na premierę ilość błędów uniemożliwiała grę, a teraz po 3 poprawkach niestety ilość ekranów wczytywania i czas oczekiwania między filmikami po prologu zupełnie mnie zdemotywowała.

Also, after so many lies sold during the development process keeping trust in the patches seems highly unreasonable. At this point CD Projekt Red is no longer the relaible company and therefore they can stick their words about the fixes coming in the future... well I guess we all know where they can stick them.

    The streets randomly dissapired, and patch dont do anything... just make the game worse

    The game runs really poorly on base PS4
    Shooting sequences and driving are really slow, so it breaks gameplay
    Graphics is super low res and a lot of texture doesnt load

    The more I play the more I get frustrated

Cyberpunk 2077 is a hodge podge of much better RPG fps that they just copied the game play and mechanics but they did it poorly. the NPC enemies are so boring. they just stand there and shoot at you. maybe they move five feet. The mission are also just rinnse and repeat. the bugs    unimaginative, boring, repetitive, lackluster, trite, etc.

    Cyberpunk 2007. Overrated shooter. Deus Ex was way better. There are tons of better games from the decade

    Just give my money back. I won’t ever unseen this. Terrific graphics. You must be kidding us to release the game in the end of 2020 with such a visual quality. CDPR shame on you greedy btchs.

    Where do I start? I have played over 500 hrs of cyberpunk on ps4 offline without any updates (via disc), on ps4pro same disc with updates and ps5 (had to connect to internet and update or it just wouldent work).
    1st play ps4 (no update) attempted 100% completion hard difficulty nomad Lv49 sc50 115hrs in and data corrupted and had to restart.

    3rd play ps4pro same disk with updates played a lot better completed main story on hard difficulty and finally got the trophys i was missing.
    4th play ps5 played much much better but still buggyer than any full relese has any right being, Due to it running better I spent more time messing around and just enjoying night city I also diddnt use any upgrade points to see if i could complete the game on hardest level without them, but by this point i was getting bored of the game,
    So in conclusion i spent more time than most in game had all bugs, isues and problems listed online as well as some ive not seen online.
    I didnt like nor dislike johnny and would rather he wasnt in the game at all infact i had no connection to any charecter in the game seriously didnt give a single F, i diddnt like a single piece of music in the game and even with all the bad things i found there was somthing keeping me playing hidden under all the bugs, bad music and boring chareters there was somthing untapped maybe a good game somthing that could have, should have been.
    All the obove and the misselling sales tactics by cdpr and dreafull nonappoligy are the reason for the 0 rating i gave, as someone with over 1000hrs in the witcher 3 im saddened and dissappointed.    … Expand

    Game is unplayable on ps4 pro, so many bugs and crashes. Also those who are saying it's not made for old gen consoles then please take a look at some of the best looking games on ps4 like Red Dead Redemption 2, Spiderman Miles Morales, The Last of Us 2, Ghost of tushima and etc. I also don't understand what took the studio so long if the end result is supposed to be like this.

    I think always playing in first person with no option to change to third person or at least during conversations, special moments, and so on absolutely destroys the immersion.
    I also think that V isn't the main protagonist, its Johnny! And what absolutely didn't work out was that everything in this game makes you depressive.     if you think, that CD RED announced Cyberpunk 2077 around 8 years ago and compare the actual result to that fact. I guess, it means they basically haven't done anything. It seems like they started working a year ago. Were they Procrastinating? Did they have to change the whole game because of Keanu Reeves joining, basically build the game around him?
    Ubisoft launches every 2 year a new AC title, which in my opinion is a far better product than CP (At this point of time). I am not sure what really went wrong but honestly, i lost my trust in this company. After spending almost 200h on The Witcher 3, combined with the promotion and marketing and the promises of CD RED regarding CP 2077, i maybe did expect a little bit too much but maybe not though. i don't know, but this could have been THE BEST GAME ever and not a downgrade. But it is just another Anthem, No Mans Sky, and so on..

    PS: I have spent around 150h in CP, i do absolutely not complain about the good work of the designers/programmers/audio-engineers/and so on, they really did a great job, but it is clear even this guys cannot change what only the management can do.    … Expand

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
