    Shady business decisions and an unstable launch plague a game that truly had so much potential. I plan to play this game in the future when these issues have hopefully been worked out but until then I do not want my first experience playing this game to be in this state or I may never come back to it at all.

    In the current state of the game I feel scammed. The advertised product was supposed to be a game that is running on PS4 and PS4 Pro as good as any game released in the past 12 months. What I’ve got is a bootleg GTA IX from Russia (I mean no offense slavic brothers).

    The game runs (sometimes). That’s the only good thing I can say about the technical aspect. It crashes hard and often.    In the current state of the game I feel scammed. The advertised product was supposed to be a game that is running on PS4 and PS4 Pro as good as any game released in the past 12 months.     The story is really solid, but not entirely top notch. Though gameplay can’t decide whether it’s an RPG or not. Your choices matter untill they actually don’t. Your stats don’t matter untill they actually do. It has the clunkiest shooting I’ve ever seen and the weirdest driving I could imagine. It’s as if CDPR asked themselves how they can cut out as many promised features as they can while also breaking every single one that stays.

    It’s a solid „DO NOT BUY”, with a really loud „CDPR LIED”. I’d give a zero, but the soundtrack is really dope and the story isn’t that bad.    … Expand

    The whole performence of the console-version is just shameful and nearly unplayable. Even on PS5, the game lacks nearly everything that the trailer and advertising promised us in advance. The developers pocketed my money and I didn't get the game that I bought. Instead, I received a hundred gigabytes of garbage

    The game on the PS4 is a mess, sub 20 FPS in heavy scenes is not playable at all. Comparing base console footage to PC footage shows a generational leap of visuals. It really takes out your enjoyment of the game. The image quality is so bad, it's like my glasses need glasses.

    I knew that this game is one of those games, that is meant to be played on PC. But the majority of people are gaming on consoles and have to actually play this mess, it's really sad. If the game is really not able to run at all on base console hardware, even optimized (we will see how this turn out in the long run), they should have just canceled the last gen version and instead put more dev time into the next-gen and PC version.

    It's sad that i have to rate this 1/10 in it's current state, because behind the buggy mess the game is actually good. The story so far seems great, animations and characters are great, the combat is great.

    You are lucky if you are able to play this on the PS5, where it's actually playable. But if you are in the majority of people, who don't have a next-gen console yet, i'd recommend you to refund/resell/wait out this game, until CDPR actually fixes the majority of issues. If Bethesda would have created this game, it would have been treated like its the next Fallout 76.    … Expand

    on ps4 pro, everything works poorly, constant bugs with textures, crashes when you are in the city feels like about 20 fps, there are bugs in missions that cause you to replay the mission. I do not recommend buying it.

    First of all the bugs. Good god - you wouldn't think the game has spent 7 years in development. I frequently had characters walking through walls/elevators, my character appearing with no clothes and even a bug during the story which ruined the serious moment the game was trying to depict. It breaks your immersion when you are walking around and see floating boxes, which suddenly turn into a car, or AI with no faces. In game billboards look like they are smeared with vaseline at times

    The AI is mind numbingly dumb. What happened to the AI that would have routines? Right now if you shoot a trash can the NPCs nearby will all go into a crouch perfectly in sync. The AI walk aimlessly on a predetermined path, and they all give the same generic comments.Night City is beautiful, but like most things in Cyberpunk is feels superficial and shallow, the AI play a massive role in this

    Cops and the whole police system is total trash, cops appear and disappear like magic. I was on a building and shot a civvie, the cops magically appeared behind me on the roof. Another time I killed someone in their apartment and 3 cops magically appeared behind me, in that same room. Then I ran out outside the door, hid behind a vending machine, lost my wanted level, came back in and they were magically gone in a room with only one exit. There's also no police car chases or logic to how they attack you.

    There is hardly any dynamic interaction with the world except for vendors and some basic, repetitive random encounters that don't go anywhere and get old really fast. The world doesn't respond to your actions as a player. There is no kind of reputation system, you don't become liked or infamous in certain districts when you commit a lot of crimes or help stop them (think Fallout: New Vegas), people don't remember you, people don't react to what you're wearing or what kind of car you drive, they don't react when you walk around slashing the air with a Katana like a mad man. Nothing you do in the Open World matters.

    Gameplay wise it is enjoyable, but it feels like more of a looter shooter than an RPG. CDPR quietly scrubbed the word ‘RPG’ from their messaging, dumbed down RPG mechanics, made dialogue options more limited than before, and instead we have this weird mish-mash of poorly fleshed out GTA and Borderlands-esque gameplay mechanics while also attempting to be an RPG. The loot system is overdone, invasive and distracting. You are constantly showered with redundant and marginally better items and have no attachment whatsoever with your fashion and weapon choices.Don’t get me wrong, I like the game for the most part, it just somehow feels like they spent the last 8 years making an interactive story, then tried to make it an open world RPG at the last minute.

    The Jackie montage especially rubbed me horribly wrong way.I wish it would have been an actual part of the game, instead of a cutscene. I actually thought it was going to do one of those (you see glimpses of the future and than it rewinds to you playing out those clips you saw trope).Nope, you just are all of a sudden expected to care for this guy,who as far as you know ruined your chance at nabbing a car, almost got you arrested and killed. How do I want to be friendly with this guy? At least let me slowly learn to like his personality so the friendship feels earned (like both are fighting against the same guy that set them up etc).

    Ciberpunk 2077, el juego que te cambiara la vida, pero para mal. 70 euros para un juego roto en todo los sentidos posibles. Tengo que decir que no es totalmente injugable, si estas acostumbrado a juga a la primera Game Boy. Es un juego que no se disfruta nada en la ps4 (base), desde los bugs que tiene tanto como los coleccionables de todos los assassin´s creed juntos y después la calidadCiberpunk 2077, el juego que te cambiara la vida, pero para mal. 70 euros para un juego roto en todo los sentidos posibles. Tengo que decir que no es totalmente injugable, si estas acostumbrado a juga a la primera Game Boy. Story is incredible and definitely a experience for everyone that loves cyber punk tales (Neuromancer, Matrix, etc). I love the pace of the main quest + side quests. Terrible textures - it`s so bad that you can easily see the difference when you pause the game - that way you can see what a high quality looks like. But even to load the menu your PS4 will have some trouble. It takes seconds to load the menu buttons. Never saw something like that. The in-game is horrible. Really. I`m ashamed of how they had courage to release something like that. It would be way better to just cut off the old generation from the release. The game is also ridiculously buggy - the kind of bug that mess with the whole experience - I`m not talking about a person sitting in a invisible chair - I was in a combat that my enemy just got stuck inside an open elevador, I just shoot him a lot of times until he died. He didn`t even saw me. This was supposed to be a hard fight. Believe me, if you want a good experience, try something else. I just can`t see a patch that can resolve this.     Fabuła jest cudowna, ale sama gra to tragedia. Grafika jest bawet gorsza niż w gta V. Jestem bardzo zawiedziony. Jest mi smutno. Na tą chwilę nie polecam. Polecam kupić grę na dobrego PC.

    A versão dos consoles apresenta muito bug, isso atrapalha muito a gameplay, a de Pc até dá pra esconder se a pessoa tiver um PC muito bom mas quem não tem peças tão potentes fica mau otimizado... O mesmo nos consoles, estão mau otimizados, 8 anos anos desenvolvendo e não entregou o jogo 100% pronto.

    I kind of feel bad because I trusted CDPR on this, but being honest. The game is trash. The story is boring, the dub is home made, the gameplay is clunky... And the PS4 version is even worse: can’t play 2 hours without crashing and can’t even play on 25 stable FPS...
    Goodbye cyberpunk, I’m getting a refund.

    CDPR, why you selling alpha version? 15 fps, 720p and low pc spec on console? Crash every 10 minutes playing game and more bugs. You could push the release date of the console version or mark it as Early Access (though not Steam). Do not just say that the hardware is weak, on the last generation of consoles there are quite beautiful and well-developed games. Even the witcher was better optimized

    Ужасная оптимизация, куча багов, вылетов . Купил игру по предзаказу за 67$. Показали красивую обертку на ПК, а на консолях оказался сущий ад. Разочарован:(

    Some people actually expected it to be good? When i watched this final trailer and they said that it will be "Next Generation of Open World Games" i already knew it's **** Nothing in these trailers looked extremely new or never done before.

    Está lleno de bugs, ejemplos: Personas que se sientan en donde no hay asientos, niños con supuestamente algo en las manos pero no tienen nada, cosas que llevan los aliados y que se quedan flotando y podría seguir con otros 200 bugs más.

    Tardan en cargar las texturas (de ps3) cinco siglos, a veces no deja interactuar en misiones, se cradhea cada dos por trrs, gráficamente peodo, la IA    Está lleno de bugs, ejemplos: Personas que se sientan en donde no hay asientos, niños con supuestamente algo en las manos pero no tienen nada, cosas que llevan los aliados y que se quedan flotando y podría seguir con otros 200 bugs más.

While studios like Rockstar, Naughty Dog, and Sucker Punch have been able to deliver masterpieces at launch, CD Projekt Red has leveraged impecable marketing to try and sell a half-finished, buggy game. Visually, the game looks great and I find myself stopping to look around and use photo mode. During certain sequences, such as walking around or speaking with main quest characters, the game is engaging and fun to play - these are a clear "9 out of 10". Unfortunately, the extent of the drawbacks are unlike any I've seen from a major studio at launch. At its core, shooting and driving are extremely rigid - the mechanics harken back to the age of early driving and shooting - imagine GTA 3 driving combined with GoldenEye 007 shooting mechanics (I'll be honest, the guns do look pretty). This area of the game is a mediocre "5 out of 10" - mainly due to some creativity with advanced weapons. Lastly, the bugs. Even on PS5, I have had SIX fatal crashes in about FOUR hours of gameplay. That level of issues I have not seen yet in modern gaming (my AC Valhalla playthrough crashed once in 75 hours of gameplay). These issues that make the game unplayable (by literally kicking you out of the game), are a clear 0 out of 10. That's why I landed at a 4 out of 10. A few quick comments. The QA team for this game has clearly underperformed - it's blindingly clear in my playthrough so far. Any half decent QA who has experienced fatal crashes would have reported them. That being said, it's also unfortunate that the product and business teams pushed deadlines and let all this slide. Keep in mind, we're seeing this for the first time - but these teams have had months of playing a buggy, crashing game while claiming it "has gone gold." I'm writing this after the 6th crash, mid-dialogue, and I've given up on restarting the game again. It's unplayable.… Expand

    Almost unplayable in current state. Glitches and bugs on every step from broken model of main character to broken main quest making imposible countinue a story. And of course regural crashes every hour. At least steelbook edition look good at the shelf i think

    I do not care about low frame rates, low res textures or sub 720p resolution. But when a full price game crashes 7 times in 2 hours playtime, that's something I care about.     - Game crashes every 10 minutes
    - Settings get reset every time the game is restated
    - Switching camera while driving not working (sometimes works)
    - Car suddenly gets stuck accelerating..
    - Police attacks player for no reason
    - Sometimes AI just stands there
    - Some NPC in idle pose (in a main story area..)
    - On some controllers cursor and scroll bar do whatever they want
    - Dialogs cut off

    These are just some of the things that came up in 2 hours playtime on version 1.04.
    Next thing is the updates. The game comes on 2 discs.
    - After installing - day one patch - 48GB!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck with that in rural areas.
    - Change language to English - download 4GB
    - Day 2 - patch 1.04 - 14GB...

    Why even bother selling the game on disk?

    I loved the Witcher 3, which also had it's share of bugs, but this is on a whole new level.

    If you can't make your game run on PS4, then don't sell it for that system. But that would mean to give up a good amount of revenue, I get it...    … Expand

    Unplayable on current gen!!! Wich is unaccepteble in regards to the fact that this game was supposed to release almost a year before next gen consoles. I haven't been so dissapointet in a game since AC Unity. CDPR have lied to us just like bethesda tid about Fallout 76. I have uninstalled the game and refuse to play it until I have a ps5

    За пару дней до выхода, начитался отзывов, насмотрелся видео с сырой игрой, ну думаю, ладно, игра еще не вышла, щас выйдет сразу все пофиксят.
    10 декабря- день x. Пришел в магазин, чтобы купить дисковую копию, так как в душе понимал, что игра может не зайти (не из-за багов, а из-за сюжета и сеттинга в принципе) и ее придется продать. Купил. Запускаю. Скачался сразу патч, ну думаю давай, удивляй меня игра.
    И что в итоге? А в итоге на ps4 slim мы получаем 100 гб скриншотов.
    Ну, а если серьезно, то как человек, который вообще не ждал эту игру, и купил ее потому что хотелось понять вокруг чего весь этот хайп, могу сказать, что игра скорее всего по сюжету не плохая да и по геймплею тоже. Вся проблема данной игры в том, что ее просто не доделали, просадки до 15 фпс, вечная прогрузка текстур, вылеты. Когда я играл, все больше и больше я задавался вопросом, а точно я играю на пс4, а не на слабом, древнем пк?
    Люди которые пишут, что им пофиг на графику, пофиг на вылеты, пофиг на отсутствие оптимизации, которые пишут, что несмотря ни на что игра отличная и играбельная, вы серьезно? Когда я вижу такие отзывы, складывается мнение, что пишут их не люди с собственным мнением, а жертвы маркетинга. Игра продается за 60$(4к руб.) и за эти деньги, вы получаете сырой кусок кода. Браво сдр, браво.
    После всего того что я увидел, даже после патча 1.04 ( который слабо исправил ситуацию), я все равно не могу назвать эту игру той игрой, которую хотелось видеть после просмотра трейлеров. Нет желания играть в скриншоты.
    Уже выложил диск на авито.
    Вернусь в игру, когда закончится открытый бета-тест, когда решат все эти проблемы ( если решат).    … Expand

    You would probably ask can it go worse, I say yes, because the marketing of ps4 version was based on lies. CDPR told us that the game looks fine on consoles, they took a month to make the game stable on all platforms, and "strangely" no one have seen console versions before release. If I saw DF review in the morning I wouldn't spent 60$ on this bunch of code, but it was released after I left the store, and it was already evening here.
    If this was the best CDPR can do on console, they should cancel it, a made it PRO/Next Gen exclusive. I had a developers message in the box on the game, but it should be on the box, saying, sorry for now it's unplayable, we fix it in a year though if you want to support us now you can buy it.

    To sum it all up the worst is "The Great CDPR" scammed us 41% of their customers, and even EA, Activision or Ubisoft never done something that despicable. Hope that their next game would be unlaunchable, because it would be so great, people are unworthy to play it.

    Thank you CDPR for you are the company that thinks about how to scam your customers.

    Update 1.06: Delamain quest broken, and can't be finished, game crashes became more rare? like once in 1,5 hour, and then around 0,5 hours. ONLY 4 romantic lines in the game (1 for every gender)!!! No upgrade system in the game, just a bunch of unworking perks. Quests are boring and you need to complete around 200 of this boring police quests and GiGs. Races are disgusting, arrows load below you, enemies teleport, sometimes forward. For now still a technical disaster
    Finished the game 1.06, couldn't finish Delamain, 5 interesting side quests in the whole game, endings are primitiive and unsatisfying. Final score 2.0. Broken and uninteresting perks Maybe will replay if they remake the whole game from scratch, otherwise replayability value equals zero/    … Expand

    Unplayable. Do not buy it. Sometimes characters will get stuck inside building and other stuff like that. You'd need to load a previous save and hope it goes well this time... I repeat do not buy it

    I love games like Fallout 4, RDR2, AC: Valhalla and Horizon Zero Dawn. I was expecting some bugs and issues as with any large game, but this game is virtually unplayable. Please don’t purchase this game - wait till it’s actually fixed.

There is clearly a good game in there somewhere, but like its muddy visuals, it's hard to see. My heart goes out to the artists and game developers, as this was clearly not how they intended the game to be released.

    The first achievement I unlocked was titled 'The Fool', and oh boy do I feel like one for investing in this game. If you are, like me, playing on a base PS4 system, avoid this title.    … Expand

    La laideur du jeu est présente dès la première seconde, quand vous créé votre perso c'est déjà horrible. J'ai même appelé un pote pour savoir ce qu'il en pensait de peur que ce soit m'a télé ou ma console qui avait un problème.
    Bien sûr, je n'ai pas regardé un seul test venant de la presse car je voulais découvrir cette prétendu merveille. Quand bien même, les tests sur PS4 sont arrivés 1 ou 2 jours après. Je ne lirai plus rien de tous ces sites spécialisés qui participe à ce foutage de gueule. Les développeurs décident de la communication, être un joueur n'est plus important pour eux.
    Et pourtant, j'ai envie de continuer car il à l'air vraiment très prenant.

    I tried to play this game on ps4 thinking all the hate was just angry fanboys trying to troll people. While i started the game my character looked a bit off and pixely. The loading of the character is quite slow and the open world is way too buggy to enjoy it.

    The game has great potential but sadly it's a technical disaster which makes it unplayable. The game freezes, crashes, has frame drops and game breaking bugs and the graphics are muddy and it looks like it's rendered in 480p. Not recommendable in its current state.

    This game on base PS4 model is unplayable. Mostly due to low fps. Graphics looks awful and blurry as hell. Lots of bugs and glitches. Stopped playing after 4 painfull hours and decided to wait until CDPR will release some serious patches. Would return this crap if I could.

    It's really unfortunate. Behind all the bugs and glitches and absolutely horrendous performance is an excellent game. But this is honestly unacceptable. I get they wanted to release for the holidays before the year was out but this is nearly unplayable. 6 crashes so far on ps4 pro! The frame rate is HORRENDOUS while driving the AI is absolutely non existent. The texture and asset pop in.It's really unfortunate.     For your own sake, DONT BUY THIS GAME. You have been warned. Map looks like sandpaper. If I kept writing it would be a 15k essay. They have already made 400mill just of preorder for a game that’s should be a ps2

CD Red should be ashamed of themselves for releasing an unfinished game. I do not recommend this game until they release significant patches to fix the 30 fps cap and the extremely long list of glitches which includeI assume the game itself is great from what I hear.     Unplayable on PS4. Missing textures, low frame rates and resolutions. No life or immersion in Night City - that’s when it’s not crashing. So incredibly disappointed

    Playing the Ps4 version on the Ps5. There's major framerate problems making entire parts of the city nearly unplayable, lots of crashes and bugs everywhere you look.

    I can't believe CDPR released another game in this state, and expect us to just wait and hope they can fix it eventually

Combat is okay, but controls are loose. Has bits from GTA, Batman, Watchdogs, and a Technomancer feel. At times the game looks great, others there is just too much visual noise.     Unplayable on fat PS4. You will find lots of payed youtubers with payed ps5 or payed nasa pcs who will be saying this is the best release of a game ever

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
