    Unplayable. The game can't be played, the bugs, framerate and render doesn't allow the gamers to have atleast a decent experience.

    Bastante decepcionado, por desgracia. Seguro que sera un juego excepcional, de lo mejor de la historia, pero en PC. Actualmente en consolas old-gen como PS4, bugs, errores, fallos, caidas de fps, texturas que no se cargan,etc etc. injugable. Juegos de PS3 tienen la misma calidad grafica que este titulo, y como digo, es una lastima.
    Pague mas de 200€ por este juego, y como minimo, pedia    Bastante decepcionado, por desgracia. Seguro que sera un juego excepcional, de lo mejor de la historia, pero en PC. Actualmente en consolas old-gen como PS4, bugs, errores, fallos, caidas de fps, texturas que no se cargan,etc etc. injugable.     Honestly there is a game here but as of now it’s unplayable and I have returned my copy of Cyberpunk2077 and will be wait for the PS5 dedicated version after Digital foundry does a deep dive on that. I can’t help but feel betrayed by CDPR by them not letting the Console version to be reviewed by media and creators alike and how they went out of there way to hide and not show the trueHonestly there is a game here but as of now it’s unplayable and I have returned my copy of Cyberpunk2077 and will be wait for the PS5 dedicated version after Digital foundry does a deep dive on that.     Poorly optimized and misleading advertising, the game is not enjoyable with all of the bugs and glitches I regret this purchase and I will look forward on playing it on Next Gen consoles when they are available and Im able to get one

    Seems like a great game but it's almost unplayable, 10% of the playing time is reporting crashes, 20% loading times, 10% loading textures and the rest is good gameplay. CD Project Red have become as greedy as EA for releasing an abysmal version of the game

    Im playing on the PS4 PRO, and this game is so awful in its graphics and framerate that this has to be one of the biggest scams of the year in gaming. OMG! Do NOT buy this game on PS4 PRO and definitely not on base PS4 (I've seen thats even worse on the standard consoles!)

    The Game is ass. Continuous crashes on the Ps5 and occasionally i cannot fight or draw weapons in the middle of a fight, the game is rushed and poorly made, it needed another 1 or 2 years in development.

    The game is not optimized for ps4, at times the game is virtually unplayable. Honestly, it's been a long time since I was so disappointed. The number of frames is a misunderstanding!

It took two days for the “Day 1” patch to come in. During that time CDPR said nothing, respond to no one and left us PS players and XBox players in the dark while PC players received the patches: 1.03 and 1.04. FinallyAt launch the game was unplayable. Crashes occur at every other drive or mission, floating cars, floating people, missing textures and materials. The game looked horrible. It took two days for the “Day 1” patch to come in. During that time CDPR said nothing, respond to no one and left us PS players and XBox players in the dark while PC players received the patches: 1.03 and 1.04. Finally the patch arrived and consoles are now on 1.04. The game looks... better. But bot great. Textures look better but many times elements will be missing materials, character will look flat and lighting doesn’t work right. The are less bugs. Crashes do occur from time to time. Any other company would be feared to shreds (imagine EA releasing a game in this state). The game is not ready for prime time. Yes, the story so far (10% in) is good and interesting but there are too many things which don’t work. We would not accept this from an indie developers. We wouldn’t accept this from any company. Somehow people are allowing CDPR to get away with it. I’m glad at least here people can rate it accordingly. I’m playing on a PS5 so I don’t know how good things look on 4 (due to the the performance differences) but we are still speaking about the PS4 version (as a PS5 version will only come in 6 months or so).… Expand

Just a shame I only got 9 hours in before it crashed for the 5th time, resulting in me being unable to load any save I have made.     This game has been interesting. Its a cool setting, and its fun to play. Its similar to the Witcher 3, and GTA 5, and reminds me of Blade Runner a bit. I prefer 3rd person cameras, but this game works well as a FPS despite that. There's some bad writing and the AI is unimpressive, but there's a good game here with a cool story.

    Issue is the bugs. So many bugs, crashes, and glitches.    This game has been interesting. Its a cool setting, and its fun to play.     This game was one I looked forward to for years, and when it finally came it has been nothing but a complete disappointment. Terrible issues with frame rate, npcs, clip ins, and just an overall terrible game, which is shocking considering the developers and how much I love the Witcher series. This has been the biggest disappointment of a game that I've ever experienced honestly.

    Consumers are not game testers. This is unfathomable this was put on PSN and put on a disc. They showcased at E3 at a console stage and made a game tailored to high end PCs. Even when it did work and didn't blue screen it was hard to focus on the content because of technical issues.

    The game is one of the best games i've ever played. BUUUUUUUUUT it is so bad on the last gen console. Performance is terrible. You cant drive through the streets without any lags. And the graphic uffff... . So many times I stand a few seconds in front of a door waiting the door finally load a big uuuufffff

    Its really a bad experience playing this game with my PS4 Pro and my cousin's Xbox One. It keeps on crashing and it's very annoying. The graphics is so bad too and the game is full of bugs and glitches.

    Personally, I experienced little to no bugs. But the NPCs and the world of Cyberpunk is just completely lifeless. The NPCs are ridiculously stupid and overpowered, and there is really not all much to do in the game. Not worth it at all.

Graphics are not the best, it feels very hard on the eyes to play for more hours, in dialogues the camera slides left, i dont experience this in other games so is not a controller issue. The aiming and combat it's not very easy, feels hard.     Bad gaming experience, couldn't play anymore. The story seems interesting at least for those parts I managed to play. But the glitches are something unbelievable. Seems as this game had no QA at all. AI is so much ultimately stupid so I could really imagine it's more like one if/else statement than AI. Just horrible waste of money.

    I had downloaded the game and played about 4-5 hours. I play on my PS4 and the game is full of bugs, the performance is very low, it's often just crashes while i'm playing. In other words, it's just impossible to play it. I don't want to play it since is just can't properly.

It's hard to imagine a greater failure and disappointment from a developer I previously adored. This game should have been canceled on PS4/XB1 and made only for next gen and high end PCs but CDPR wanted to cash in first so they took our money and gave us this piece of garbage.     Wachałem się nad notą 1,ale to byłoby niesprawiedliwe mimo iż czuje się oszukany. Nie znam całej fabuły, być może ta faktycznie jest najsilniejszą stroną cyberpunka, ale cholera, to nie powinno wyjść do sprzedaży. Generacja generacją,ale można nawet na ps4 zrobić ładna grę, bez tylu błędów, wydaje mi się, że to ich przerosło

    It look horrible and has so many game breaking bugs (I couldn’t even continue the game at one point). The gameplay is nothing groundbreaking but ok and the story is not very original but still decent and enjoyable. But it is impossible to get past the bugs and visuals.

If you look past the bugs and performance you're left with an ambitious but hollow feeling game. Night-City very look don't touch, leaving the player wanting more. The characters are well thought out but the pacing of the story veryI am playing on PS5 and the game constantly crashes and is consistently buggy. The performance is poor and the graphics are muddy even on next-gen consoles. If you look past the bugs and performance you're left with an ambitious but hollow feeling game. Night-City very look don't touch, leaving the player wanting more. The characters are well thought out but the pacing of the story very start and stop, and it takes way too long for the game to truly open up.

    This game is awesome, it is so big and it has so many things to do... this is nos a failed attempt to put their vision in place... what they failed eas to be transparent enough to say that cyberpunk 2077 was not ready for PS4... they should have mentioned that they needed to downgrade the graphics on PS4 to allow the game to run smoother... they dis not say it and that has enraged the entire gaming community that saw CD projeckt Red as a customer friendly company.

    Now, after 8 hours into the game so far and having a base PS4 model, the game has only crashed once! But I have encountered several bugs, not critical for gameplay, but they decrease the overall experience...

    Just as it happened with The Witcher 3, the glitches have prevented me to complete at least 3 GIGs/Jobs (the equivalent to quests) and despite the fact they are not critical, I wanted to clear that part of the map before moving into the main storyline...
    Potato mode sometimes pops up, specially after driving fast in the car and approaching NPCs... it takes around 3 to 5 seconds to get the graphics corrected... Inhave not found “moonwalkers”, nor empty zones... the world is alive and full of NPCs... but the graphics are unfortunately downgraded in my 7 year old PS4... not like the crisp and sharp ray traced graphics on a powerhouse gaming PC which many of us cannot afford!

    CD Projekt Red should have mentioned this... they should have released the game next year in base consoles, after patching everything... YES, 1 year after the release of PS5... and then offer an upgrade for PS5... PC version should have come as the main console to play this game... that was not nice!

    I am eager for the patches... I am eager for them to correct the bugs and glitches as this is indeed an ambitious project, and the look and feel is there... gameplay is awesome... RPG mechanics is great... I am probably too soft by giving a 8/10 but I love the game and the setting... and I have been waiting for this eagerly for the past 7 years... and although (as it hapenned with The Witcher 3) the graphics are not what I expected, the game is really awesome... one year from now we will be talking about how great this game is, after it has been patched... in the meantime we hardcore CD Projek Red fans will have to play and try not to enrage ourselves with it... they have promised patches, I bought this game last saturday when the Hotfix or the 1.04 patch was released, and overall it has improved vs what I have seen on youtube... it is not enough, but CD Projekt Red has already promised big patches for january and february... I know is hard, I know is disappointing... but do not deprive yourself of playing suchc a fantastic game... open your mind a little bit, you will enjoy it despite the bugs!    … Expand

The game lacks ads sensitivity, making it very hard to aim on console. The character customization/upgrade trees are too complex for what they offer. Maybe I've not played enough rpg's to get this yet, but it feels nauseating having to choose between 60 upgrades, that change completely different stats. And whencit comes to stats, all of these extensive trees only offer surface level stat upgrades that lack depth, like "+1.5% crit chance with swords".

    Honestly the game itself lacks depth when it comes to gameplay, even with the numerous hacks, that are the same as the hacks you already have, but you get "+41 fire dmg per second!!!!11". The body modifications rarely shake up game, being, again surface level stat upgrades, or the overglorified swords that are the mantis claws.The gameplay is the same throughout the entire game, which is understandably disappointing.

    I have the least to say on the story, as it was pretty ok, and to be honsest, the saving grace of this game. Whoever it lacks the choices and non-linearity that were promised and expected. In general the stoy just becomes a lot worse after the first part of the game, which was sad to see as it never managed to engage me as much as it did in it's first hours.

    It's hard to reccomend Cyberpunk 2077 to most people. When, and most importantly, if they fix the game the most vivid rpg fans might get some enjoyment out of to this game, but as right now, I can't say anyone should play this game.    … Expand

    I didn't realize that PS3 graphics were making a comeback in 480p. This game looks so bad that I haven't even bothered to play it and went right back to assassin's Creed Valhalla.     It cost a full AAA game price.

    This was my preferred way of playing it.

    It is broken and unplayable, to the point where I don't want to continue trying to play it because I'm making a disservice to the great story and mechanics.

    Should it have been released on PS4/XB1?

    Probably not. But it is. And it should be better.

    There is a good game here but not on this platform, the framerate drops make melee builds impossible. Really not worth investing in.

    On the PRO it somehow playable. Maybe in one year after hundreds of patches game can be what we expected. After all marketing campaigns i expected something like RDR2 quality but not this ugly blured blur. I hope CDPR will newer again collect such amount of preorder.

    Systemerrors bugs like cant sprint until load save, visual glitches until load save, flying objects from NPCs. Bad textures animation bugs. Never had a more bugged game at console before... Hope they will patch it soon...

But this is Rockstar. So what about CD Projekt Red's history? How would they handle a last gen port of a demanding open world game?

    Cyberpunk 2077 is a next gen/PC title crammed on last gen hardware. CDPR has mostly done PC ports with a console port coming out the following year. (Witcher 2, 2011 on PC, the following year, a console port was released). Witcher 3 was the first AAA title CDPR handled with console platforms at launch, it struggled but it worked and improved with patches.

    Cyberpunk 2077's PS4 port barely runs at 25fps, dipping to 15, at a resolution from 900p to 720p. The game was clearly meant to run on a PC and benefits from a PS4 Pro. However, while the PS4 is becoming outdated, good games can be optimized for its hardware like S-M Miles Morales, which looks gorgeous. It takes the right kind of time and experience to make a console port work. CDPR did not have the experience and its awful crunch and hectic development cycle has harmed the developers from making a polished product for the console market. The game should not have been released on PS4/Xbox One AT ALL. It runs and feels like a switch port with horrible draw distance, buggy models and your character's private parts clipping through the clothes.

    What CDPR as a studio has done to its developers, I don't fully know, but it clearly was not handled well after 4 delays and a lack of proper assessment of how the game would run.
    A few things could have been done

    -Delay the game not 4 times, but a full year. Spring/Summer 2021
    The game is polished on last gen, and there's enough time for an enhanced port on next gen later that year for the holiday season.
    -If the game did not perform acceptably on last gen, it should not have been sold at all.
    Next gen/PC should have been prioritized.

    But no. When the company prioritizes sales over the performance of a port/game, they have betrayed the trust of their own developers who are crunched exhausting hours to meet their demands, and the consumer who spend their money on a product that is promised to play, and the game is far from finished.

    It is clear the game has a lot of ambition, ideas and gameplay. However, in this state, the studio has failed its developers, the hard workers who made their vision come true for the sake of profit because they likely knew the console market would sell like hot cakes for the winter season.

    To the developers at CDPR and Cyberpunk 2077, I am so sorry for the stress and time this has caused you. The game is buggy on PC, according to what I've seen/from what my friends have played, but it looks much better. I hope this situation teaches AAA studios to not crunch developers over unreasonable demands of high performance games not performing well on outdated console hardware.

    I truly hope another AAA title never results in this situation ever again. I give this a low score not to demean the developers, but the executives in charge who made this port available for sale.    … Expand

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
