    I think it's funny how soft people are now days that they are going to cry about a story line. Sometimes maybe the truth hurts I guess for some. It's more surprising to me that Russia has so many people to review bomb a video game, sad. So here is the actual review.

    I think the game will be the best in the series . The multiplayer feels really good, and the campaign is very well done. They essentially just used the maps from the campaign in the multiplayer, but that does not change how good the multiplayer gameplay is. The people that complain about camping are the people that probably suck at the game.

    While not the greatest entry in the Call of Duty series. It does have a great narrative that sets it up for another trilogy.

    Which by the way things are going, is probably going to be shot down quite quickly. It's quite unfortunate that missions such as no Russian get quickly overlooked. While this game doesnt paint anyone like a hero, but more so victims of their government/superiors.    While not the greatest entry in the Call of Duty series.     amazing story, despite what the "Russians" say. its FICTIONAL. Multiplayer is fun and enjoyable with an abundance of modes, and a spectacular progression system. Lacking a significant number of good maps. Some guns need balancing. Spec-ops feels bare bones and should be avoided. Has the potential to be an overall amazing game with new maps, balancing and updates to both multiplayer and spec-ops.

Solid campaign that isn’t afraid to shy away from the reality of war, although it is worth pointing out that it is a remarkably short campaign as we’ve come to expect from Activision. Multiplayer is serviceable by CoD standards. Nice to have boots on the ground and a leveling system that feels meaningful and satisfying.Possibly the best CoD since the original modern warfare games.     Пхах. Найс обиженные, учитывая что рашка действительно много близ подобного устраивала, по типу Солсбери и хим.оружия в Сирии. Оценили игру только по причине "Ой на рашку похожа, ой же нехорошо, нет обещанной серой морали". Игра хороша, сюжет интересный относительно многих других игр подобного жанра, но для меня мало уникальности в ней.

    Seriously don't take notice of the people that are so sensitive of the " Russians " this game is the best cod since Black ops 1. The only thing they need to do it adjust some of the maps so you don't get spawn killed (e.g bridge across the map looking into the spawn) and tanks need to have limited shells instead of unlimited .     A great game reminds me alot of mw2, the campaign mode is so great so much improvement its a lovely but i kinda dont like the maps everybody camps!

    Buen juego pero los mapas son muy grandes como para duelo por equipo y hay mucho lugares para campear y ese es el estilo de shooter que brinda call of duty modern Warfare y los otros modos de juego están muy bueno

    This games multiplayer is pretty good. The gun play was improved from BO4 and time to kill is a win or a loose. The maps are ok but the new map that released is better and there are no loot boxes. The campaign is kind of historically incorrect and makes the Russian Army seem like Nazis. Also, I'm an American.

    Story is fine, most of the comments are based on a lack of actually playing through the full game and are only here to hate on Activision because they made the Russians the bad guys, who cares. Multiplayer is mostly good, guns need some balancing and the maps are pretty bad, but it looks great and feels good to play.     No soy actualmente un conocedor de call of duty ya que a partir del Ghost deje la saga
    Ya que me parecía algo ya hasta insultante Pero llegan con este rebut ( precuela) de MW que para mí y muchos es considerado de la mejor saga de COD, así que decidí comprarlo y vaya que me lleve una grata sorpresa, ya que la campaña es buena, obvio no como sus anteriores MW pero está a la altura no me lo    No soy actualmente un conocedor de call of duty ya que a partir del Ghost deje la saga

    Una vez acabado la campaña que a lo mucho te puede tardar unas 7 u 8 horas depende de cada uno sigue el multijugador y aquí es donde pondré lo primero que está mal en este juego, no digo que sea malo al contrario el multijugador es divertido y eso es lo que busca, pero los mapas los benditos mapas son el gran problema no están ni quiera bien diseñados o distribuidos hay veces en los que tardas en encontrar a otros jugadores los respawns luego salen dónde está el enemigo y dónde falla más y más es en dominación tan mal están los mapas que los puntos de bandera están mal distribuidos El campeón es mucho más exagerado y sinceramente es lo que mata el multijugador Pero dejando eso Lo que es 2vs2 y guerra terrestre son de lo mejorcito y con lo que me quedaría ya que los mapas más decentes están ahí y es donde funcionan En conclusión Call Of Duty Modern Warfare es muy buen rebut /precuela que sigue entregando la misma fórmula pero dándole un toque algo distinto tanto a su campaña como a su desastroso pero divertido multijugador

    Que si lo recomiendo vaya que si es uno de los mejores Call of duty que han salido en los últimos años    … Expand

The story has a good plot, (Russians as always) pretty violent stuff happens in the story and I really enjoyed the way the story played out and the mission design. (Price is badass as always) The multiplayer is really fun but lots of campers in it. (Some game modes more than others) My personal favorites are gunfight 2v2s and realismSome may disagree, but I find this a very fun game. The story has a good plot, (Russians as always) pretty violent stuff happens in the story and I really enjoyed the way the story played out and the mission design. (Price is badass as always) The multiplayer is really fun but lots of campers in it. (Some game modes more than others) My personal favorites are gunfight 2v2s and realism wether it’s NVG or regular. There are some glitches like bits if people sticking out trough walls and taking damage if they’re shot.     This game has captivated me for a good week in a half. There are multiple issues such as camping, lack of game modes and lack of maps but these problems can be easily rectified with a few patchs. Otherwise, the game experience with graphics and sounds of guns has been amazing and you feel motivated to play on. I am also a massive massive fan of skill-based mode

    Este juego fue el primer COD que le dedique tiempo en el modo on-line, y con mucha razon, es muy frenético, las rachas de bajas son bastante buenas (a excepcion del Radar personal, a.k.a: UAV egoísta), aunque los mapas no sean la gran maravilla, muy pocos son realmente buenos

The operations, which is the main feature of spec ops, is completely broken and downright unplayable due to ridiculous numbers of enemies and objectives to complete. The other missions to do for the mode are relatively unoriginal and uninspiring. Overall, I think the game is fantastic and can be quite rewarding if you’re willing to put in time and effort. Some people criticize elements of the game like map design or the game meta, but I enjoy the challenge the game offers that this series has been lacking for several years.    … Expand

    1-Campain =If you're gonna buy a game with a incredible story this one can be an option, the history is a cliche but it develops in a way that you maybe cry

    2-Multiplayer =The multiplayer is "good" without campers, tanks (Groud War) and some thinks what i can't remember.

    3-Spec Ops =I don't play it xdxdxd

    It wasn’t quite the return to form that I was hoping for, but it is still fun. The maps are either too small or too big and the shining light that reveals a sniper aiming down sights hurts the gameplay in my opinion.

Some maps are build so you always get killed in the back, but others are kinda balanced. I liked a lot how weapons and shooting mechanics are made, it actually feels like you are holding a gun.     A solid 8! Because of the new engine, gunsmith system and many more. But i know that this modern warfare is more like tactical shooter rather than arcade shooter, so is slower than the other cod games. Well i like it beside of the camper really. But all in all it's a new step for the game and i really enjoy it.

But what I do have a problem with is how people are getting offended over russians being presented as bad guys whilst forgetting that Modern Warfare 1, 2 and 3 did the exact same.     BO4: sorry, but no campaign - no Call of Duty
    WW2: miserable parody on World at War IW: the only good thing is a soundtrack BO3: no words, it was VERY BAD!     I don't want to compare this game with MW2, Waw and MW1 because they're classic and could not be compared with a new generation game, but for me MW2 is the best CoD ever.
    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a high-quality modern FPS without any futuristic **** Shooting here is pleasanty from any kind of weapon. The gameplay itself is dynamic and interesting. What is good - it's not the same in all missions and gives you time to rest from running and shooting and sometimes offers you different QTEs which I was missing. Graphic is stunning and realistic, pleasure for eyes. Characters are not stupid dummies who just open mouth during cutscenes - thanks for talented actors (Barry Sloane, Elliot Knight, Chad Michael Collins, Claudia Doumit and Konstantin Lavysh). Great soundtrack that gives me goosebumps - good work by Sarah Schachner.
    You can say anything, but this new part of Call of Duty deserves to be played. I always buy a new CoD only for campaign and this is the first campaigh for many years which I'll remember.    … Expand

    Every single time I have talked about a COD game I say the same thing, if you've played one multiplayer you've played them all. So obviously, I only care about the campaign and to my surprise, there is some good stuff here.

    My biggest criticism with this one is that there are still more than a few levels that contain re-spawning enemy throughout. The reason I'm not a fan of this is because it can break the flow of the game and the immersion all together. With that in mind, there are some fantastic scenarios here ranging from good to great. Don't get me wrong, even with some added features to the control scheme, this still feels like the same old COD we know. But what has kept it fresh is the amount of variety sewn into each level due to the deep and intense story. And that story hit's the right marks. Yes, there is a cringe worthy moment or two due to the lack of subtlety to the message (“did we make the right call?”). However, the overall narrative does a good job exploring the ambiguous nature of modern war, way more than previous titles. There is some confronting stuff here and it's not just for shock value.

    More than anything though, the praise should go right to the visuals and sound. Wow, the graphics and art design look photo realistic at times and the sound is pretty much spot on. From the night-vision IR lighting to the snap of a round passing your head, it all draws you in to a intense atmosphere that can be hard to top.

    You'll still be paying top dollar for this game for some time. And even though it is the same COD game-play we have always had, it really is the next step forward in quality. AAA price for a AAA experience.    … Expand

    This is one of the best CoD in a long time. Campaign is solid, fun, interesting and gets you really hooked up and the graphics are simply amazing! This game has some of the most up and down content in the series, sometimes it wows you with the graphical design, then sometimes a sniper from 50 feet away kills you in multiplayer, you never know what your gonna get.

    I was super excited to jump into the game, controller in hand, I went into spec ops, ready to play some fun content with a friend. Then the realization came, both Spec Ops and “Co Op” were online only, for someone who bought this game almost entirely for the idea of playing games with friends, this was so disappointing.

    So you may be asking yourself, does Spec Ops live up to the incredibly high standards set by the trailers? Nope, this mode is one of the toughest modes I’ve played in a shooter game in a while, PVE in this game is just you being shot from enemies that constantly respawn and respawn and respawn over and over again. This mode is terrible, and the missions, bad.

    I then jumped into multiplayer, tears still in my eyes after watching myself die 20 times in a row, and the first thing I do, is I jump into a game of ten V ten on shipment, one of the new maps. As soon as I landed from the helicopter, I was having Vietnam flashbacks all over again, everyone was camping, I couldn’t move without being spawn killed, and overall hell broke loose. This map is literally so bad, I got so pissed off, I quit. I then played multiplayer for about 10 hours, making it to level 55 and having a k/d of, believe or not, 0.89. What? I thought.... Oh yeah, nevermind this multiplayer is such a grind, and it’s super fun for the most part. Besides all the campers that are shooting at you as soon as you spawn, gunplay is fun, graphics look great, and editing your weapons feels better then ever. Multiplayer is a step up from past CODs, and definitely a great PVP experience.

    Im not even going to bunch of filler and jokes into this section, because I need to get right to the point. This is, if not, one of the best Campaigns I’ve played in a COD game. This was also the first one I’ve finished on the hardest difficulty, Realism, where there is no hud. The last mission however, made me almost break my controller, after the _______ blew up, I was just getting sniped from out of nowhere, and I must of died 30 plus times, not at all an exaggerated statement. Besides that mission though, the campaign is so damn good. Overall, this is a step in the right direction for a game series that looks to be taking a step back every game, and it’s very refreshing. Spec ops is terrible, Multiplayer is fun, and Campaign is world class. Please play this game. Oh, and I didn’t play Warzone.... ew.

    Despite Activision continuing to hold back their studios from giving players a complete product.. sigh. CoD is genuinely, wholeheartedly, back to form. Story & Multiplayer are equally hard hitting and brutal in all the best ways and refreshingly focus’s on what players want, not what developers think they do.

The tone is definitely aiming for this moral grey area which I think succeeds at times, but also occasionally muddles the story and makes things harder to follow. The gunplay was pretty fun overall though, albeit way too loud and not enough music. But I understand that it was to back the more realistic approach they were going for.

    The multiplayer is really fun, maybe because I haven't played COD multiplayer in a really long time. The biggest standout is being able to mount your gun, which was really suitable for my playstyle. Weapon customization was also amazing. My only problem is a BIG problem. I don't like most of the maps. At least in the baseline game. They definitely improved overtime with the newer maps and even bringing back old ones, but some of these maps had really jumbled layouts and just encouraged camping. I feel like for a lot of them, the combat is always congested in one spot for the entire game instead of spreading out. It usually results in me having an amazing game or a really bad one, with no middle ground.

    I overall had a lot of fun with this game and it restored a lot of interest in this franchise for me. I'm definitely taking each next entry with a grain of salt, but I'll definitely be picking up Cold War because the first Black Ops is still my favorite entry.    … Expand

I like how it has been made relevant to modern times and issues which could have just basically been a 4th game to the series with Price leading some new recruits or something but overall it's alright. I'm not racist nor do I care about the color of people but I don't see a point in making Gaz black. He was white in the first game and I think it's completely unnecessary to do that. Might as well make Ssgt. Griggs white right? Of course not. Anyways for the mulitplayer, I feel like there's no more good Call of Duty maps. The first 3 MW's maps as well as World at War and Black Ops 1 had these unique maps but now it's just regurgitations. I feel that the neglected child in this game was definitely the Co-Op mode. There were no players due to the immense difficulty throughout the missions as well as a more boring, static gameplay. To be honest all we need is Survival mode and maybe a co-op version of the campaign or even a side story that takes place throughout the main story line. For me Warzone was great and what sucks is the options for games. It's like every Call of Duty gets good when its 3/4ths it's cycle but by the time that happens, a new Call of Duty is announced and anything built up for it is gone. Take a look at EA's Battlefield series. Sure there's plenty of criticism and especially with how money hungry EA's upper echelon is, but there's definitely more to build on. What I like is that at least CoD isn't a pay to win kind of thing like Star Wars Battlefront 1 an 2. I don't mind microtransactions for cosmetics since they don't give an edge or anything. But Warzone is definitely my main go to now. I applaud them for making the Battle Royale feature a more stable yet fast paced game with a lot to do. My only complaint there is, is that there's only 1 map. I'd like for maybe 2 or 3 if that's not too much or at least a permanent night mode too so it feels like there's 2 maps. I'm gonna just assume that since my PS4 is sounding like a jet taking off everytime I start the game, it's because of the limits of the hardware. Hopefully in the next generation, we can have less loading times/quicker startups and more smooth games as we advance into the next generation of consoles.… Expand

    Not much of a multiplayer guy unless it’s with friends, but it’s the best CoD we’ve had in years. I loved the campaign, and the gunplay. It’s the most true-to-life fps we’ve had since Battlefield 3. It’s no Black Ops or the original Modern Warfare, though, but more than good enough to keep my CoD thirst quenched, and that’s something I can’t say for most of the recent ones.

    A lot of people hate on this game but it's revived the fun of Call of Duty for so many people. While some of the metas are irritating and multiplayer seems neglected because warzone is their new baby, it still brings back the old good era of call of duty.

    Great campaign, one of the best in the series, at least in recent games. Multiplayer is fun, and I would rate this game a 9 or 10 if it wasn't for the throwing knives. The throwing knives are MUCH MUCH too overpowered. You can literally get hit in the leg by one and it immediately kills you

    Russian propaganda smh. The campaign was pretty good except for the stupid propaganda. Campaign was pretty quick too, but still worth it.

    Multiplayer is decent and I like it. Graphics are nice, same with the gameplay. But I'm experiencing a lot of campers. Still it's pretty good.

    Spec Ops is just stupid, no one even plays it.

    I'm giving this an 8.

    But the maps are too big. This would have been better received if it was called Hiking Simulator, because on the bigger maps you usually spend more time running from A to B than capturing A or B.     O primeiro jogo da franquia que eu compro na pré-venda. Não me decepcionei. Partidas empolgantes, gameplays frenéticas, dublagem excelente, som animal e a micro transação razoável. Porém o que mais me chamou a atenção nesse COD em específico foi o armeiro, que foi bem feito.

    The campaign is amazing but short, the gameplay for multiplayer is amazing. The sense of realism and detail really shines. Its 8/10 because infinity ward refuses to fix many bugs that plague this game although annoying, the game still holds its own 4 years later. Probably my favourite COD release ever.

    A great relief after the latest releases. They definitely put effort into this game, the amount of detail in this game is crazy with new and improved gun-play and gun-smith and a decent campaign. Definitely a step into the right direction for CoD, Just needs to be more polished and we will have ourselves a new masterpiece.

Much like a Michael Bay film, the pacing is designed to hide these deficiencies. Still, it was hella fun, and probably the best CoD entry up to that point.     Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 is a re-imaging of Modern Warfare 2007 with a realistic approach to it's story and to how multiplayer is played.

    The story is by far very great. Not excellent, but very great that ultimately got me hyped for the next Modern Warfare re-imagined game. The audio and visuals are spectacular that will leave you in awe at the details Infinity Ward has    Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 is a re-imaging of Modern Warfare 2007 with a realistic approach to it's story and to how multiplayer is played.

    The story is by far very great. Not excellent, but very great that ultimately got me hyped for the next Modern Warfare re-imagined game. The audio and visuals are spectacular that will leave you in awe at the details Infinity Ward has presented here. And to put icing on the cake Cross-play is a thing within this game

    But let's shift the focus of this review to the issues because there are plenty

    1) "imbalance" of cross-play.
    If you have NOT played a FPS game on the PC do NOT activate cross-play you are dealing with players who are operating with controls that have accurate precession that will get you really upset and frustrated. What would've been better is an option to have players go up against Xbox players OR PC players but not console vs PC. In other words, you wonder WHY you died against a PC player? That's why. It isn't about who shot first, it's more about the controls.

    2) Multiplayer maps are....meh.
    The maps are all the same with a bunch of stuff added in to add the 'tension' when it comes to playing multiplayer. There needs to be more unique maps added to make the matches feel more engaging because more than not you will stumble upon a bunch of camper lobbies that will ruin the fun and make you leave a match

    3) Some guns are OP and some guns are not.
    There needs to be a serious buff and nerf to a lot of the guns because they do stupid damage in some cases and in other cases with other guns those particulars don't do enough damage.

    4) Exclusive platform content.
    Everyone should be playing the same amount of content on the same day. Yes, games can't do this. But here there is no excuse; Spec Ops should be available to all platforms and not just one. Bad move Sony and Activision

    5) "Objective" playing is more harder than ever
    I guess this is a combination of 1,2 & 3. But the real gripe here is how badly some of these matches can go because of how each map in scope feels and plays the same. While you are up against players who have OP guns and quicker reflexes if you are playing on PC. There is no "git gud" here, especially when the maps feel the same in scope, the guns feel and play on entirely two different spectrum, and the cross-play differences make it way harder than it needs to play to play objective based modes. Infinity Ward MUST put some sort of leash on campers especially on Ground War because it is extremely annoying when you are dealing with campers, cross-play differences, and guns that are on two entirely different spectrum's.

    This game's story is very good but the multiplayer mode needs a lot of improvement and additions to make it wholesome    … Expand

Multiplayer is same-old, nothing new, nothing broken either. It's got a clear successful formula, but just doesnt match the innovation modern FPS's are heading in.     Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
