    Why did you give console peasants an aim bot? Do you realize there are console USB mods out there that manipulate this giving console players no recoil and heavy heavy aim assist like almost and aim bot!? What are you thinking Activision!?     The MP maps are worthless, unbalanced once again and way too small for the amount of players in the game. it's literally a rage inducing crap show over and over with people camping their spawns and then the spawns never rotate. Trash. Not one bit of fun in the MP side of the game. It's garbage.

    Warzone is the only reason this game is living, they managed to make one mode correctly.

    Continue to pursue cheaters, otherwise this game is pointless to play, it's already an unbalanced crap show and cheaters make it far worse. Not fun at all. If I could refund I would.    … Expand

    Multiplayer is utterly awful and broken. Do not buy this game until a massive overhaul is announced. They have stolen elements from battlefield and siege and forgotten what cod is all about. Even the pros agree the game is awful. Alongside that is just how badly it plays on PC, forced crossplay to be able to play ground war and the bias towards camping as a play style. Multiple is the same thing everyone has been playing for over a decade and people who are saying it's like MW2 or whatever are miss placed, that came out a decade ago so now we are saying we have to de evolve to make a game new and fresh again haha ok.     I didn't find any creativity in the game. most of the maps are a collection of old CODs games. specially COD4 with minor changes to the weapons.

    No spilt screen spec ops.? What is even the point of "local co-op". Multiplayer was bland until it was over taken by another Battle Royale then worse. Campaign was good.

    The shoot first and die first combat completely ruins the game for me. It has so many great features, guns, maps and and and.. But that doesn't matter if they guy in front of you won't die no matter what you do. The gunfights just don't feel traceable and most of the time you feel like you need twice the time to kill than to die.

    I am going to be completely honest with this review. I have been playing Call of Duty since 2010 with Black ops 1, and I loved the game due to how good it was. The campaign was absolutely amazing that had little to no flaws in it. The multiplayer was a balanced, fun and grind-worthy experience that somebody can never get bored of. The 3rd game mode, Zombies was a simple gamemode that wasI am going to be completely honest with this review. I have been playing Call of Duty since 2010 with Black ops 1, and I loved the game due to how good it was. The campaign was absolutely amazing that had little to no flaws in it. The multiplayer was a balanced, fun and grind-worthy experience that somebody can never get bored of. The 3rd game mode, Zombies was a simple gamemode that was extremely fun with your friends or solo that I still to this day never got bored of. Now we are in 2019 with this terrible excuse for a Call of Duty. Lets start with the multiplayer, it is an unbalanced mess with nothing fun about it. Snipers are absolutely busted and they one shot people no matter where you hit them. The weapons are extremely inconsistent. I can put 10 bullets into someone and it would be like I pinched them in the ass, or I can put 2 bullets of that same gun into somebody else and they get wiped out of **** existence. The maps are absolutely terrible and are made for people that sit and camp for the whole game. There are very little game modes in this game to go along with the **** maps, and the **** balance too! The core game modes are TDM, Domination, Headquarters, Cyber Attack, and Search and Destroy. Know lets compare that to the game modes in Black Ops 1, A game that is 9 years older than Modern Warfare has Team Deathmatch, Mercenary Team Deathmatch, Free-for-All, Domination, Ground War, Demolition, Sabotage, Headquarters, Capture the Flag, Search and Destroy, Team Tactical, and Express. More than double of the amount of core gamemodes in a 9 year old game than in Modern Warfare. Don't even get me started on the Ground War in this game... I would rather play Battlefield V blind folded with my feet than play this blatant rip-off of Conquest in Battlefield. Oh, and everyone snipes in this gamemode too so you are gonna get one hit by a guy you do not even see! Which brings me to one of the biggest problems of this game, you can simply just not see people properly and have no idea of which direction you got killed from. If I were you guys, get Battlefield V and wait for the War on the Pacific update to come out.… Expand

The fact that it has an 80% from all the major game reviews and a 30 percent from users is a true testament to how corrupt the video game reviewing industry really is. A bunch of sell outs. So you'd think, just go play campaign while you wait for the swarm to die down, right? Not an option buck-o. After that we eventually got the game running together, having a decent time for about 3 hours of actual game play with intermittent crashes (about 3 for each of us). Heads up if you have epilepsy, there's a bug in the game that upon taking damage the indicator and blood splatter on your screen has a good chance of rapidly flashing at you like a rave party on steroids. Also, the VoIP is messed up for me, my game audio comes through my headphones, however it makes the VC come through my monitor. I checked all my settings both in game and in windows and could not get it to work right, so I was forced to just turn it off altogether. Aside from that the game is pretty good so far, honestly my friend and I are just a bit jaded at what a sloppy first impression all of that was. Given some time and a lot of patches, I bet this can all be sorted out. Hopefully fixes are a priority and not rushing to push the micro transactions in our face. I want to like this game, but I am disappointing with it in its current state. For now, this score is what it deserves and hopefully in the near future it can turn itself around. If you're on and off the fence about the purchase, maybe wait a while and hopefully get all these bugs ironed out first because I highly doubt you want to spend the first 3-4 hours trying to get past the crashes and bugs before you can even play like we did.… Expand

Russian soldiers are liberators, not terrorists. I will not give my money EVER to Call of Duty creators.     Too big maps, retarded respawning! To win gunfight you have to preaiming, if you are shot for first, you are died: drop or jump shot are useless to respond.
    You have to call this game with another name: it's not COD

There's no normal levels but there's night missions in London, too yellow Urzikstan (if you liked missions in Saudi Arabia from CoD 4 MW and Afghanistan from MW2 and others. You're welcome.     3) A choice of an enemy and degree of its villainy was dictated by the market, not moral, which was shown with a recent scandals incl. Activision and Blizzard. So, when authors say that it is a purely fictional and they do not refer to specific country/official military, that sounds not so convincing.
    4) All the other aspects of the game make it a very good one: graphics, shooting, stage direction are pretty well. If a low-tier, low-influential product insults you, that is ok, but when you see that a work of a good professionals is pointed against your national pride, that makes you sad and then angry.    … Expand

It means that 1 side of some discussion projects it’s own mistakes and methods to the other side of conflict, both to make it harder for opponent to counter general accusations of brutality and to wash away any social-cultural guilt of themselves. The most obvious example is Death Corridor, American tactic used against Iraqi military and civilians - in game this is somehow Russian tactics( because it’s somehow not obvious to American gamer, who is not interested in history). War is war, it’s brutal, unrelenting and it there is no humanity in heart of it. Still, every nation struggles to find signs of honesty and goodness in its own actions and desperately tries to blame others for every real or fabricated conflict. Remember this while reading the last part. The main reason a lot of users are outraged is HYPOCRISY of creators, who unknowingly have created the funniest moment in modern game history - their narrative have so little connection with reality that while you are reading this, Russian forces in Syria continue to protect Kurdish borders from ancient ( both for Kurds and Russians) enemy - Turkey. I don’t feel any anger or grudges, really. Multiplayer which force you to learn new way to play is really great (it was great till I realized how it works). I played COD for at least 500+ hours since Modern Warfare 2 and I wasn't enjoyed as much as I do now with this new Modern Warfare 2019. Campaign could be a bit longer but all know that most people waiting for multiplayer, besides that I don't like long campaigns anyway but for most people won't be long enough. There is a few graphical problems but it should be fixed within couple of weeks. Game run average 85fps Rtx2080Ti and ryzen 2700x at max settings ultra wide screen 3440x1440 with ray tracing on so in near future can be only better. Update after reaching level 60 at MP I need to lower the score cos the MP looks like a mess. Only one thing what you can do in this game is camp and camp only. Common problem is to see other players plus bullet register is **** as well, so I wouldn't recommend to anyone who liked MP like BO4 or BO3 cos this is very different. After few updates everything what this game does is claiming some money from you is like advertising flashing board. Going back to BO4 with no regret… Expand

    But the whole campaign just puts Russians as a fascists, that are responsible for all crimes in the universe.     Без лишних предисловий начну, игра очень сырая, пвп убитое, чувство будто я зашел в Destiny 2, где все также бегают с пп и дробовиками. Сюжет мусор, разрабы хотели сделать качественные перебивки между миссиями, но они не смогли сделать даже этого, ролики между миссиями висну и мало того вылетает игра, на счет самого сюжета ничего не скажу, есть 3 качественные миссии и все, все остальноеБез лишних предисловий начну, игра очень сырая, пвп убитое, чувство будто я зашел в Destiny 2, где все также бегают с пп и дробовиками. Сюжет мусор, разрабы хотели сделать качественные перебивки между миссиями, но они не смогли сделать даже этого, ролики между миссиями висну и мало того вылетает игра, на счет самого сюжета ничего не скажу, есть 3 качественные миссии и все, все остальное просто клише мусор. Вернемся к пвп, на днях вышел патч который должен был что то сделать, но он ничего не сделал, ну как ничего, теперь как и в сюжете игра начала вылетать, также шикарный пинг в 100+, иногда пинг становиться 50, и игра становиться другой, но чаще всего ты бегаешь с пингом 100 и ты только видишь челика из за угла а он тебя уже высматривает минуту, также шикарный подбор игроков, где тебя кидает к челикам у которых уже клан и 50 уровень, а тебе в команду нубов 1-10 уровня, также не забуду упомянуть читеров которых я встретил в первый день игры. Также очень тупая система стрельбы, где ты пытаешься целиться а чел от болды ноу зумаом выстрелил и попал тебе в голову, скажите пж, я зашел поиграть в казино или шутер?     + Weapon Costumization is pretty good

    + Finaly a COD which isnt one of the SCI-FI games

The sound design is incredible, the guns sound real and heavy. Finally, the gunsmith is incredible. You can change your weapon to fit your play-style exactly. This is the one aspect of the multiplayer that feels strategic. When actually playing the game, there is very little skill involved. If you move, you will die. There are far too many random angles, corners, windows, buildings, etc. that you can get shot from constantly. This, in addition to the realistic lighting, the loud footsteps, and slower movement speed create a camping meta. I find myself dying much too often from skill-less things such as the many angles, bad spawns, overpowered weapons, and claymores. This game was not made for competitive people, it was made for people who want a game that requires no skill. Whenever I play this game now, I don't get mad, however, I do not have fun. Even when I'm doing well, I find myself having no fun. What I want to emphasize in this review is that the game is not fun. I hate to criticize the game developers so hard, but when you make a game that has conflicting features and poor decision-making all-around, you should be criticized for it. It's a shame that the game developers couldn't deliver on the game mechanics and the maps because the gun play is unmatched.… Expand

    As a long time CoD player I can safely say this game is a solid 2 steps backwards when it comes to the multiplayer. The spawns are just terrible. You will be locked down to 1 area on the map while 80% of the map is completely free and open. You will find yourself more often than not dying at spawn before your character is even able to pull their weapon out to shoot back.     Next problem is the size of the maps. They are far too small. Bringing back maps such as shipment and having maps like shoothouse really make me wonder if they have tested the game themselves before including it. It takes the horrible spawns that the game already has on larger maps and cranks it up to 11.

    Ground War: This mode is much like the Battlefield series Conquest mode with large maps and a domination style gameplay. But, this mode suffers terribly from lack of map variety to extremely poor servers than can not handle such "large" battles.

    Gun mounting. Camping is already a big enough problem in this game but including gun mounting has only made it all that much worse as it encourages players to mount up and sit in 1 spot while having more of themself in cover.

    The Battle Pass. This has to be the most ridiculous cash grab I have seen in a hot minute. It is a complete waste of your money and the CONSTANT push for players to use the store to buy overpriced and pointless items is just annoying and should not be included.

    There are far too many game modes too. Not counting the Coop mode which feels completely forgotten already which I know will just cause problems down the line. Having Normal and Hardcore spit is normal and makes sense and modes like 10v10. But all these other little modes are just unnecessary and split the playerbase.

    The reason I give this a 3 though instead of a 1 which i believe it deserves is the loadout system. There is a lot of variety there and bringing in systems from previous games as a perk here such as Point Streak instead of Killstreak. The graphics are excellent, controls well on both PC and console and the crossplay inclusion is a very nice one. Campaign was the best I have seen in a CoD game in years.

    But the game has too many frustrating problems that makes the overall experience not a fun one at all. I would not recommend this game at all but instead a previous title in the series Black Ops 2. It had larger maps, fixed spawns and fun gun play. A real boots on the ground experience.

    Don't buy this. It a big step back in the series in regards to it's multiplayer and I can not in any way recommend this. It is a poorly made cash grab that pushes microtransations on you constantly after already paying $90 for the base game.    … Expand

    When I actually am connected to a match with ping below 70, I perform really well and generally have a great time. This is rare. Extremely rare. It's getting to be such a bad problem that the game is nearly ruined for me.

    On top of that, there are still massive stability issues with this game. I play on PC. I have to reinstall the shaders every single time I launch the game or it can't be played. It will either crash or it won't function at all and I have to force it closed in order to even use my PC. This particular problem exists for every single game mode. It takes over 35 minutes to reinstall the shaders. That means that I launch the game and 35 minutes later I might be able to play the game.

    The game itself would be fine if it actually worked and gave you a reasonable ping for your matches. Since that's not the case and likely never will be, I do not recommend buying this game on any platform. There seems to be zero effort put forth to address these problems. Hundreds of millions in profit on a game like this and I'd estimate about 2 years behind on bug fixes. They continuously prioritize cosmetic fixes, items, and various almost completely irrelevant gameplay adjustments but refuse to fix the most extreme problems facing the game. I have sent in dozens of bug reports, most going unanswered, with almost no response whatsoever from Activision about future adjustments and fixes for these problems. I would categorize them as catastrophic in nature.

    In 2020, with good internet like I have, there's no reason to be matched with a server at over 100 ping. You can't tell me there are zero other players near me that I can match to and that I can only play with people from other countries. Doesn't make any sense at all why this is still a problem.    … Expand

Infinity ward have managed to suck all the fun out by promoting slow campy gameplay. The single player campaign is good but a poor ending left me feeling underwhelmed.

The horrible spec ops mode is so unenjoyable that I’d rather go back and play MW2 spec ops any day, every mission drags on longer than it should and feels damn near impossible and when you do beat it, it isn’t rewarding. Now onto the war zone, granted it’s not bad, plunder is a pretty fun take on it all and they have a decent system going for it however, hacking and skill based matchmaking is even in it. Making a already tense and sweaty battle Royale even more of a sweaty mess. Hacking is too abundant and has yet to really be fixed at all. All in all I’m giving this game a rating of 3 due to 3 fourths of the game still needing an abundance of work and due to infinity wards constant flow of micro transactions rather than them fixing and adding in much needed and long overdue updates. Infinity ward hopefully changes things around for the MW2 multiplayers remaster that they “aren’t making” even though we all know it’s already done and on the shelf. Hopefully they stop the overuse of micro transactions and go back to the simple dlc. And just the fact that I have to wait for up to 30 minutes in a server que, even though the game has been “done” since October and it’s currently April is just saddening.… Expand

    The campaign this time around is actually pretty good. The characters are likeable, IW tried to sell this game as an ultra-realistic representation of war, which it succeeds at most of the time. Don't get me wrong the story is no Spec Ops The Line. What's disappointing is that the campaign clocks out at about 5-6 hours (even when you take your time) Now let's get to the bad:

    Spec Ops is a buggy mess that is barely playable. It's also insanely difficult for no reason at all. The ai resembles the intelligence of a toddler with down syndrome. On top of that no one plays the mode so good luck finding a match. For the people who are upset about Survival being exclusive to the PlayStation for the year you're not missing out. It's absolutely rubbish and a complete waste of time. The only issue with Survival is that the ai is horrid and there's no post launch support for that game mode.

    The Multiplayer genuinely depressed me every time I played the game. IW have sacrificed what makes COD fun in the name of realism. The kill streaks are almost useless because the maps are cluttered with debris and buildings, kill streaks basically render going to objectives pointless since you gain nothing from capping flags (this is why scorestreaks are much better)
    Every MW match is basically an Esports tryout considering the SBMM is incredibly strict. This game punishes you for being better than other players. For instance, if you dominate one lobby the next game you'll have will put you in a game with players who sweat their arses off because IW wants to avoid you pub stomping new players. So good luck having fun with getting a 1 KD every game.

    I would not reccomend you buy this game at all. Even though the campaign is good it doesn't justify spending 50 quid on 1/3 of a game that's only 5 hours long.    … Expand

Shame on you, infinity ward. Regarding the campaign, I think they added some of the missions for shock value. Take how they have dead children in the campaign and hanging bodies. I honestly think that they want to make something like ‘No Russian’ but worse. I don’t know why. Spec ops is utterly terrible. After I finished the half ass campaign, I decided to embark on the spec ops mode. I was happy to play then when I realised that they had FOUR missions. Anyways, I then played through the missions to them realise that they are impossible to finish. And when I mean impossible, I mean 200 veteran bots rushing you and spraying at you and your team. It’s honestly broken and boring compared to other games. Multiplayer is actually pretty decent, although some scorestreaks are overpowered and should be nerfed/ removed. But honestly they need to nerf the 725, too overpowered.

    Warzone is a really fun and challenging game mode, I feel like it revived the game a little bit and gave some COD fans a reason to play. The Gulag is very fair and gives people another chance at winning the match. Overall I would give it a 6/10.     The only setting that fixed this was increasing resolution scale, but come on dude, i can't even hit 50FPS with scaling at %200. I would prefer it having BO2 graphics (wich are pretty nice, no visual bugs and the performance is great) with SS-AO and some Post Processing instead of being unplayable because of the world looking completely glitched.

    And the only Aliasing options are SM-AA wich... is not perfect.

    I mean im not saying that having bad graphics make the game bad but this kind of bugged graphics is generating a visual fatigue that makes the game completely unplayable unless you are a frickin' masochist.

    Textures aren't compressed too which causes the dynamic texture system to make textures look like play-doh sometimes.

    The game just gives the impression that it was made in a crappy engine like unreal engine. The downgrade on the COD game engine just got this low to be unplayable and buggy graphically.    … Expand

    Why play as a Team when 1 Guy can run and Gun, or camp his way through the Map and Kill everyone?

    Garner himself Kill Streaks that he got from Camping, then chain them together to get 40+ kills per match, then talk smack to you about how you suck after the match is over...

    Why play the objective when every player is a Mobile tank...

    A literal spartan soldier from Halo...

    You can run, jump, slide, and hip fire with insane accuracy without a Movement penalty...

    In CSGO, you'll miss your shots if your running, and die to a good player if you dont hit Headshots.

    Lets be honest, in COD, your not aiming for people's Heads... 99% of your kills are from body shots.

    In COD, you can 360 no scope with snipers... and Sprint while holding RPG's as your secondary, and a 75lb LMG as your Primary.

    Now, I'm not saying COD has to be realistic...

    But to be a "Fun" game.. (ie: less sweaty)...

    Activision, Gives "Casuals", Gimmicky ways to get kills so that they

    "feel like they are good at the game..."

    The 725, Thermal Snipers one way'ing through smoke, riot Shield, C4, Flash Bang, stun Grenade, Heart Beat Sensor using Noobs for instance...

    Activision forces Infinity Ward and Treyarch to put Gimmicks like this into the Game not only to make players "think" they are good at the game.

    But to also make them continue playing the Game, so they will spend more money on microtransactions.
    EA is famous for doing this to it's Developer's Titles.... Best thing to do to have fun in Call of Duty, is throw your K/D in the garbage because it honestly doesn't even matter...     This could have been one of my favorit games in the last years. I do really like the gamplay and the way they builded these atmospheric house raiding mission. But in the end the story is just a disgusting piece of propaganda. I'm really sorry for the developers (I'm one myself).     The single player campaign had a fairly interesting story mode. Graphics are amazing. They once again (in my opinion) regressed in the multiplayer. I view Call of Duty as a multiplayer games. Since that's why I buy them. So, that's why my score is so low. Campaign couldn't save it.

Rather than reiterating what cod is about here are some of the key points that are relevant to both the ps4 and pc version (But predominantly the pc). In addition I'll only be referring to multiplayer and warzone since despite having played hundreds of hours of this game I haven't touched the campaign yet.

    Pro's:
    - Rock solid framerate
    - Generally nice graphics (generally is key with weird ass ailiasing and the general shade of brown)
    - Satisfying gun play
    - Dope sound design with excellent telegraphing and punchy gunshots
    - A genuinely fun battle royale mode which is free to play with plenty of opportunities to jump back into the game rather than having to sit by idly (gulag is obviously a meme but it does make the game better)

    Cons:
    - Crashes a lot
    - Updates are broken. It is 19:15, I have been downloading the update since 12:30 and I still have 51.72gb to go. This is an unacceptable issue as its practically occured with every season update.
    - Unreasonable update sizes. Season 5 is 54gb for pc and 36gb for ps4. My friend who plays on ps4 has had to delete everything else off of her system just to play call of duty which is ridiculous.
    -If you don't buy into battle passes then your sense of reward for playing the game will diminish pretty fast.
    - Bugged challenges/objectives. i have attempted to progress a warzone intel challenge 18 times now yet the game doesn't even register that I've done it.
    - I WILL REITERATE AGAIN. SO MANY BUGS. UPDATES THE SIZE OF STANDALONE AAA GAMES, UPDATES YOU CAN'T DOWNLOAD AND SO MANY CRASHES.

    I genuinely love playing this game and I say that as a person who despises activisions unethical activities as a company. But it's so marred by problems that make the experience not only unfun but insulting.

    Get your thumb out your rear activision and give your devs time to fix the fundemental problems of the game. Though that doesn't give you another giant pile of cash so you'd rather have them spewing out season passes instead.    … Expand

    Call of Duty? This one is more like Camp of Duty. Bring your tents because the multiplayer is full of players that think their life is actually on the line. Campaign is fantastic. Spec-ops is bad, very bad. Warzone is good as long as you dont mind getting annihilated by streamers.

    The updates for this game are enraging there is no other word for it, the numerous amount of times I have finished work opened up battle net wanting a quick game after a hard day only to be met with a update which will take so long to download you wont be playing till the next day at the very least is unforgivable in terms of updates.

    I have had numerous occasions after installing 190GB game where I have had to download 100+gb updates, the last one was 3 days ago for a 5 GB update which took most of my evening to download to yesterdays 32 GB update which is still downloading.

    The worst part is none of these updates are for multiplayer they are for warzone which I don't play or for black ops crap which I don't own.

    Also the battle pass is now completely defunk for MW because no rewards are for MW they are all for warzone which is FREE and black ops which I don't own ... so I paid £50 for a game I no longer gett any content updates for but free warzone which I don't even play gets updates?

    This is the first COD game I bought since early 2000's and will be the last this kind of crap is completely unforgivable and enraging when all I want to do is relax and shoot people in the face.    … Expand

    Visuals: this is perhaps one of the best looking call of duties of all time. everything looks good and you have a great amount of control over the settings. I have managed to make this game look amazing with minimal performance penalty on anything from a 1080 to a 3070. Here the game gets a full 10/10 for graphics;(10/10);

    Audios: the game has excellent sound design. this is not as good as what frostbite engine has to offer. gun sounds all sound dampened and lack base, how ever voice acting, sound effects and the weapons sounds all sound really good. this is for sure an above average sound design and I will give it a (9/10);

    interfaces. it is bad, they have put in minimal effort, party system is bad, placement of buttons are bad, there are very few cautionary interfaces in places that matter and and far too many in places that are not as important. if you are in loadout menus and your squad leader do anything you are pulled out. the main screen of your character walking endlessly is a roll of a dice! in each patch new bugs get introduced. anything from half of your screen glowing to your character not loading at all. this is so bad that I am going to assume they went out of their way to screw this up and I am going t ogive them a 0/10, inexcusable! (0/10);

    Single player story: the game is ok, I actually had a lot of fun playing it until it got to the blatant racism, torture, and abuse of children. in older call of duty games they used to be more subtle, this is just poor writing, there are a million ways to portray someone as bad, this was just unimaginative. that being said I had fun playing the single player. I am giving it a (8/10);

    Coop: I was going to give this section a 10/10 but I am instead giving it a 0/10 here is why; coop was good. it had a healthy community, no toxicity, fantastic implementation of crossplay and an amazing story line to back it up. it was fun to play and easy to ear experience points in. However, they are trying to burry it, the servers have become non-responsive and do not put you in matches anymore, menus are broken and riddled with bugs and they keep getting worse in each patch. if Activision does not care about this portion of their game, I am not going to give them any points. this is the only part of this game that worth the price tag and they don't want to maintain it. (0/10);

    Multiplayer: On PC it is bad, does not worth your time, bad net code laggy buggy and broken with terrible match making. incredibly toxic community filled with racism, sexism and filth. children screaming things that are absolutely inexcusable. filled with cheaters and you have no way of reporting verbal abuse, bullying racism and sexism. on PC it is a pile of garbage unless y7ou are playing a custom match with a group of people you know, but at that point you and your friends can literally play anything else. (0/10);

    Community: Single player does not have a community, coop has an excellent respectful community but as we established if Activision does not care I am not giving them points for it and the multiplayer is garbage. I am going to give it a -5 points. I feel half of my maximum amount of happiness, less happy when I engage with this community; (-5/10);

    Price: there are better indie games that cost less and do not have microtransactions. this is a $15 game that is being marketed as a $70 title. I am giving this a (2/10);

    Microtransactions: they are not cosmetic, those skins yield in-game advantages, some skins are harder to see in game, some weapon tracers and effects (like the pixel one) block your view and give the shooter an advantage. some kill animation (floaty skulls etc) actually block your vision. dark outfits like rose's dry suit in a shadow make her practically invisible. This game is effectively pay to win. (0/10);

    Support: The support sometimes shows some surprising acts of competence that is truly out of character for Activision developers. but 70% of the time they are useless incompetent people providing **** support. Sometimes the game refuses to load and you have to redownload a 200 GB game ... hope your internet does not have a data cap! (3/10);

    so averaging all the scores it is a 2.7 out of 10. I round it up just incase I am being to harsh.    … Expand

However, the fact that this is 2019 and not the 1980's the absurdity of IW creating the fictional place of Urzikstan as well as Al Qatala and yet, still choosing to push the anti-Russia agenda, is just another misstep in the world of idiotic game developers.

    Coupled with the fact of game modes like Co-Op and Black Ops being a colossal failure and waste of time, along with Ground War being the poor-man's wannabe version of Battlefield, it's apparent that Modern Warfare has absolutely no idea what it's doing with itself.

    The multiplayer is one of the worst experiences I've had to date. The maps are extremely poorly designed to the point to where camping is not only encouraged, but almost downright mandatory. One of the biggest draws of this game for me was the promise of a co-op mode (something that I played the hell out of, dating back to the previous MW titles). But, this Busch league idea of cooperative modes just further drives the nail in the coffin that COD has completely lost its way and needs to either die, or be put into the hands of developers and producers that truly love the military FPS genre and want to create the best of the best within that realm. And that is NOT Infinity Ward.

    The only reason this game receives a 2 instead of a 0 is for some memorable missions based off of real world operations... And it was nice seeing Captain Price again.    … Expand

Играем мы судя по всему за ИГИЛ (на самом деле за арабскую независимую и сильную женщину и американский спецназ) и убиваем злых русских регулярной армии у которых на вооружении узи и летают они на американских вертолётах. Вывод про ИГИЛ напрашивается, так как используются против русскихВся кампания в игре — ебаный маразм и бред — такой клюквы про русских не было ещё ни в одной игре.     Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
