    Best Batman game there is. The graphics, voice acting , flawless gameplay and the plot keeps you coming back to this game again and again. Batmobile could've been better but pros outweigh the cons

    'Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)' is, as of now, the final main instalment in its series. Although it isn't quite as good as 'Batman: Arkham City (2011)', it ends the story on a solid note and is a fantastic game from the second it begins. Its narrative picks up after the gloomy end of its predecessor, taking things in a somewhat new direction when Scarecrow - one of the highlights of the'Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)' is, as of now, the final main instalment in its series. Although it isn't quite as good as 'Batman: Arkham City (2011)', it ends the story on a solid note and is a fantastic game from the second it begins. Its narrative picks up after the gloomy end of its predecessor, taking things in a somewhat new direction when Scarecrow - one of the highlights of the first game in the series - rolls into Gotham with a plan to bring it to its knees. There are some really interesting characterisations here and the title does quite a bit of exploration when it comes to Batman's innermost fears and anxieties. Of course, it also has a couple of less successful moments. However, the overall thing is compelling and entertaining right the way through. The gameplay is probably the most refined it has ever been, tightening up series-staple mechanics while introducing several new gadgets and abilities. The combat is as deep and fluid as you'd expect, while the predator encounters are as challenging and suspenseful as ever. It's all really exciting and often contextualised within its wider world. That's because this time the entire city is explorable, from its highest rooftops to its shabbiest alleys. Soaring over the rain-soaked city as searchlights blaze their circles into the sky is simply stunning. Beneath its grimy aesthetic, the game really is gorgeous; the jump in generation between this title and the last is evident. The thing's most major new mechanic is the Batmobile, which has proven controversial among fans. Personally, I think it's a great addition. The car mode provokes an intense feeling of speed and the tank mode satisfyingly allows you to deal out some heavy damage. Perhaps it is leaned on a little too heavily in some scripted segments and in some of the Riddler's puzzles, but it's an enjoyable element of the experience that never truly feels cumbersome. Besides, it can launch you into the air, which is indescribably fulfilling. The city itself is peppered with stuff to do, all of which progresses side-plots than can result in you apprehending several well-known villains. This is great because it means that there is no busywork. It really is a treat to see your progress in real time, as Gotham PD fills up with the likes of Two-Face and the Penguin. Of course, there's also the elusive Riddler to contend with. He's put his trophies all over the place yet again and given you another set of lore-based riddles to solve. They're all tied to a series of 'Saw (2004)'-like traps and, this time, the completion of thse bring you one step closer to freeing Catwoman (who has been captured by the rogue and assists you in her own escape). This a great way of making the Riddler stuff seem even more urgent than it has before, as it directly impacts a playable character who is an important part of the series. The game, as a whole, has a strong sense of urgency to it. It supposedly plays out in real time and it pushes the Dark Knight to his limits. It's filled with effective storytelling, engaging characters and exciting gameplay. It's an extremely enjoyable experience. 10/10… Expand

    Overrated and up-voted by incessant Batman fan boys. From a neutral perspective I found the combat lame, Batmobile driving mechanics terrible and the Riddler sections absolutely excruciating. At least the atmosphere was good along with the freedom to roam around on side missions. Solve all of Riddlers 200+ puzzles to see the true ending - you kidding me????

    Another legendary game from rocksteady. Everything is done in the best way. The beautiful voice of Mark Hamill and Kevin Connery, a very beautiful story, great atmosphere, etc., announce an amazing game, but the only weakness that prevents Arkham Knight from turning into a masterpiece game. Weak boos. Finally, this game, like all Arkham trilogy, is amazing.

    Only now played this - even though I knew it was praised, it blew me away. The environment is so finished and the plot is delicious. Just about only things less than perfect are the sad 30 frames/sec slowness even on PS5 and the way, way too many Riddler puzzles.

    This game looks stunning it brings Gotham to life. The city feels like a real place that people could actually live. The gamplay and story is phenomenal, its great to see members of the bat family involved in the story. The only downside is the batmobile sequences are a bit repeative but it's great to see it implemented into the gamplay.     Great sendoff for the Arkham series. Once again, the plot and gameplay blows you away, and the graphics are better than ever. The story tugs on your heart strings and amazes you at the same time with the action. While the Batmobile is overused and the boss battles are on the weaker side, there is so much this game offers, making it a satisfying conclusion to the series.

Since the game requires a high-end system, I had to play it with the lowest settings possible. And it was even fun then.

The stealth is intriguing (tho I personally don't enjoy stealth very much) A lot of people hate on Arkham Knight for the number of times we need Batmobile for combat and puzzles but I personally loved the Batmobile. I loved Riddler's races, I loved the puzzles, I loved traversing the city using Batmobile. So basically unlike a lot of people, I enjoyed the hell out of Batmobile. The story is great. Although fans felt betrayed by the lie that Rocksteady told about the main antagonist, but I loved the story overall.
    Every good game knows that players must gradually feel empowered and this exactly happened with the Arkham Knight. You constantly feel powerful the more you progress through the story and unlock new abilities. The 3 different parts of the map each have their own personalities and they are beautiful. There are a ton of things to do in the game. Different side quests, challenges, races, etc.
    The only negative thing I can say about the game is that it's too short. For the game that is the final entry in the Rocksteady Arkham series, it should have been longer. WAAAAAY LONGER. But this feeling must probably be related to the fact that I loved the game so much.
    Overall the game was the best game in the series and one of the best games I've ever played in my entire life. Nothing beats being Batman    … Expand

    Best Arkham game to date. The are a lot of sections where you use the batmobile but I think it's necessary given that the Arkham City formula(Wandering around in cape + beat em up) is stale at this point. Otherwise it would be like Arkham Origins all again. Plus, the batmobile sections are fun and well done

    Arkham knight is one of my favorite games, batman Arkham city has a Metacritic score of 96 making it one of the highest reviewed game ever! and Arkham knight is way better cause of the combat and SEVERAL hours of playtime. the only thing that I didn't really like was that there was to many tank battles, but other than that it was a really good game

Like parts of the game I think I'm at the end but then the game said I think not. The Arkham Knight villain was so obvious if you read the comics or know jalf of the DC characters backstory to get the hints of who's under the mask. If not you'll be oblivious until his reveal but it's still not surprising with either party. I literally said screw this when I had to do the various side quest just to fake his death and I'm assuming that's when you finish the game. Overall though the story was fantastic but it's just too long and way too much to do compared to the other two Batman games.… Expand

    Still one of the best PS4 games you can play. Very fun gameplay (combat or just moving around the city), amazing side content, great story and VA. Insane graphics for a 2015 game. Only cons are the Batmobile sections and sometimes somewhat frustrating Riddler trophies (which are optional though).

    An absolutely remarkable game with slight issues such as the over-reliance of the bat-mobile and the lack of boss fights. Even though I was bothered by these issues, I still managed to have a ton of fun with the gameplay. It also has such an interesting story due it delving into Batman's insanity and Scarecrow works fantastically as the villain here.

And Arkham City is the best game ever so AK make raised expectations too much. And its a fantastic game, with nice atmosphere and good gameplay. But too much batmobile. I don't have issues with controls of the car but its boring afterArkham Knight is a fantastic game. A great ending for a great super hero series. I highly recommend to spend some points improving the defense and the cannon of the batmobile because if not it's going to be very very difficult and even doing that you are going to have to be skilled with the battles with the batmobile. I only did 3 sidequests and they were not much interesting. I don't like games were you have to do many sidequests to keep advancing with the main story and this game is made this way (like the latest Asssassin's Creed games are too). I like playing to be entertained and not for being stressed like in this. Plot is ok. Graphics are good. It could have been a better game if it was easier and if it would help you with hints when you needed them. The voice of Batman is horrible (he speaks like a robot), much better in Spanish.

    I would only recommend this game to people looking for "challenging" games or that want to do the sidequests (and then earn points to improve things). If not the case, you will end up dying again and again and again and getting frustrating. I bought it for a good price so I will probably get my money back. The main story must last about 16-19 hours but I think it would have last about 12 hours if it wasn't so difficult.    … Expand

The plot is boring as **** all characters are just saying you what to do, no interesting interactions with them, only with antagonists, bland. The game in terms of tech looks really great, the combat is excellent, but because of the boring plotline there is no motivation to play further. Learn from Insomniac Games please. Imo

    I don't know who designed this game but it's one of the most badly designed games I have ever played. Controls are clunky and the riddler challenges are completely nonsensical and just there to add a good 30 hours of (boring) play time to an otherwise empty shell of a game that would last 5 hours. At least I got this on offer and only spent 9.99 on it.

He faces many well known villians such as penguin, two face and the infamous riddler with all his trophies scattered all over gotham. Gliding across the moon lit sky travelling across the bright and dense map of gotham still gave me the same immersion and feeling of being batman that i had once experienced in 2012 in batman arkham city. But this game adds to the already amazing traversal with the one and only batmobile and its is as amazing as you think. You feel the the power, heft and horsepower of the batmobile and gives us what we all wanted from the previous arkham games. However, this game has a few flaws which made it miss a legendary 10 from me. Firstly it is unfortunately the batmobile. Aside from all its pros, the batmobile combat gets boring and repetitive after the few initial fights due to the lack of man different enemy tanks to fight and the lack of cool sequences and set pieces that could have been achieved with the batmobile. It was an awesome opportunity which rocksteady missed out on. Secondly though arkhams knights suit is cool and his voice makes him seem like a bad ass but, his story arc and character under the mask reveal was cliche and expected and at the end really didnt surprise which to me is a great disappointment after the major hype built up on him. In conclusion, please play this game. Its is a bunch of fun with its great gameplay and story and the closest we can all get to being the knight!… Expand

    combat is the same as the last game with more features first the new enemy types are pretty good there are big buff guys that have different weapons like taser fists or shields there not to bad there what you should focus on when you are in a fight but there are also medics who can revive fallen enemies they can be kind of annoying if you don't see them so try and make sure they are down as soon as the fight starts you can pick up weapons from enemies like bats and bash in there skulls there is also the multi fear take down but i will talk about that when i get to the predator sections overall its just as fun as in Arkham city

    stealth combat in my opinion is better in this game then in Arkham city like the combat sections there are 2 new enemies in the stealth sections big buff minigunners who need to be taken out last because you make to much noise when there are other enemies still left if you try taking them out and pepole that you cant see with detective mode on there are also normal enemies that can track you if you have detective mode on but batman has a new way of taking care of enemies is fear multi takedowns when enemies fear you you can preform the fear multi takedown it can take down 3 enemies very fast and you can later take down up to 5 at once the only downside is its loud and alerts enemies and there is no more fear but if you can do a stealth takedown fear goes back up but what makes this more fun then Arkham city is how much fun i have strategizing what to do i just sit for a bit and think of a plan who do i take down first then where do i go and get next and always fun when your plan works its the highlight of this game in my opinion

    the batmobile is the most controversial part of this game like combat I'm splitting this up in 2 parts regular driving and battle mode

    regular driving is really good in this you can drive freely and i like driving around just for fun you can even chase down others cars and slam them into a building i know i did not say much but its all i need to say driving around is good it is fun

    battle mode eh its ok for the first half of the game i had fun with it there were plenty of tanks to fight and a verity of ways to destroy them but the second half introduces nothing new and it gets boring this is why i wont give it a 10 or a 9 its the one bad thing in this game

    overall its a amazing game i recommend it to pepole who have played one game in the series because it assumes you played a Arkham game before be cause enemies are not gonna hold back 8/10    … Expand

This game's story is pointless, the missions are annoying, the map is awful to navigate and the most of enemies are so bad. How could you make Batman's rogue gallery (and in particular, the scarecrow) boring? Yes the joker is incredible this game, but having a good antagonist is only half of the battle. Also, the Arkham Knight? What the **** Okay, we know that he is Jason Todd, yes, very predictable, but his character makes no sense. How, the actual **** did this kid manage to develop an army, military level equipment and reputation from nothing? He was left for dead by the joker, and he's just fine? Who helped him when he was bleeding out and dying on the floor? Pointless game, pointless story, pointless send-off. I also just want to clarify that this coming from a fairly big Batman fan in general, I just wish that this game was as grounded as the others in the series.… Expand

Didn’t mind the batmobile like most, bc it was cool and brought something different. However, the boss battles and missions are EXTREMELY repetitive. Honestly, the best parts of this game are the challenge maps and the “Arkham Episodes”. The main story, however, is pretty terrible. Definitely the worst/weakest out of the Arkham games, including Origins. Guess it was hard without having Paul Dini to write an amazing story.… Expand

    A lot of the side-missions are very bland and amount to just being giant easter-egg hunts where you have to scour the city for some specific landmark or item, only to maybe watch a cutscene or press a button when you find it.     Another big mistake is the game's over-reliance on the Bat-mobile. The Bat-mobile itself is just ok and it's a lot more fun to play as Batman, but you can't do anything in this game without having Bat-mobile sections shoved down your throat!

    But those are my only complaints. The rest of the game is extremely well done, but if you want to play something truly special, I would stick to some of the other games in the series.    … Expand

    The story is awesome. The characters, of course, are great. Most of the quests are well done and engaging.
    The vehicle combat was okay at first, but after a few hours it become boring and annoying having to kill other mindless drones over and over again.

    It's an unpopular opinion, I know, but Batman: Arkham Knight is the best game in the entire Batman Arkham series. The costume looks awesome (and in case you don't like it, there are plenty to choose from), there's the Batmobile, the story is the most unpredictable one if you go in without any spoilers, the graphics are amazing and there are a ton of quests to do so that you don't get boredIt's an unpopular opinion, I know, but Batman: Arkham Knight is the best game in the entire Batman Arkham series. The costume looks awesome (and in case you don't like it, there are plenty to choose from), there's the Batmobile, the story is the most unpredictable one if you go in without any spoilers, the graphics are amazing and there are a ton of quests to do so that you don't get bored with the game any time soon. The main missions take nearly 20 hours to complete. If that doesn't tell you about the game's mammoth size, probably the fact that it's only 1 of the 12 quests that you can do will.

    The story begins from about 8 months since the death of Joker. And this within itself gives the developers enough of a reason to fill the game with Joker's ideas. We often see Joker's hallucinations taunting Batman and standing in places where we have to go when we have to perform a task. Joker also has a part up ahead in the game where we get to play as him, and it's really scary in the beginning. Occasionally Joker encourages us because he didn't want anyone to kill Batman and take away his dream, but at the same time he also wants us to die so that Joker can take over Batman's body. This gives a very detailed layer to Joker, and makes him one of the best written characters in spite of being dead.

    Now let's talk about the Batmobile. I am well aware of the people who say that they find the Batmobile missions annoying, and I don't mean to challenge anyone's opinion. But personally the Batmobile is one of the things that made me like this game the most in the series. Batmobile allows us to get anywhere faster and it has a pretty good control, unlike many open world games like GTA IV or Watch_Dogs 2 where the car drives like a sailboat. On setting it in Battle Mode we can control it even easily and once upgraded, it's literally an indestructable piece of tank. After having completed the game I often drive around in the Dark Knight's Tumbler while wearing the Christian Bale Batman outfit, or the Batman v Superman Batmobile while wearing Ben Affleck's outfit. It's really fun to do all that. I'm okay with you if you don't like it, but I like it a lot.

    And finally let's talk about the game in general. The voice acting is great once again. Though my PC would lag sometimes when the cutscenes would play, and I don't blame it because it is happening even though the video memory of the game is well below my graphic card's. So for now I have only played the main mission and uninstalled the game, so that I continue it from my cloud save once I get a gaming PC. Then I also really like Batman's suit over here. At first I thought I'd try out the other suits as well, but I always came back to the game one. Personally I'd have prefered if the suit had white eyes too, but that's probably just a choice, and I'm disappointed over here because literally every suit shows our eyes.

    Overall Batman: Arkham Knight is one of the most beautiful games I have played this year. I have played it for 19 hours by now and hopefully, like I said, I will play it when I get a better PC. People often talk about the Arkham series being the one where we get to be Batman. In my opinion this game is the one that shows it the most.    … Expand

Personally, Arkham Asylum is my favourite one for this series, but this one includes to drive batmobile through the night of Gotham and this fact is priceless. I also, along with this one, recommend the first two 'Arkham Asylum' and 'Arkham City'. Great history, and dozens of hoursIt's a great game.     The story feels rushed at points, and the addition of the Batmobile as a gameplay mechanic feels forced, but the incredible improvements made to the rest of the gameplay easily make it the most enjoyable Arkham game to play. The side missions aren't as good as Arkham City, but are nonetheless enjoyable. Overall, a strong conclusion to the series.

The graphics are good, the only problem that i have is with the resolution, when you're playing at 1080p looks like you're playing at 720. There are a lot of sidequests to do,A very solid sequel, but it has some problems. The gameplay is amazing, improving what was already good and, despite what everyone said about the batmobile, i liked it, but the game kind of force you to use it a lot. Now, the weakest point in this game is the story, it barely made any sense, especially if you played Arkham City, i mean, the pacing, voice acting and the scenes are very good, but Batman becoming Joker doesn't make sense at all, because Batman drank the cure in Arkham City, so why is he becoming the joker? in Arkham City Batman almost died in a few hours by Joker's disease, so why aren't the other infected dying? How is Batman able to see memories from another person? How Jason Todd survived? Why Scarecrow released the toxin with nobody in Gotham? Why not send Militia tanks with soldiers inside, preventing Batman from destroying them? Did Batman really take control of his body only telling the Joker that his biggest fear was beeing forgotten? There are so many questions without answer, unfortunately the story was very disapointing, but at least the Knightfall protocol was a great ending, in my opinion.     This game has everything to be the best of the Arkham franchise. However it is infested with bugs in hit boxes on the stage and enemies; for example: the indestructible elements in the scenario have a collision similar to the walls and can block combos in combat mode, which by the way always cause the player to get stuck on the sides of the arena.

    The game and story is good. But uses the bat mobile a bit to much and a confusing end but super good and impressive if you understand the ending. And have great and some super good side missions. And some boos fights are using the bat mobile too much even in side missions.

    This game is fine. The combat and stealth never could have been better, the Batmobile while stupid for tank scenes is good for driving and I loved the races. However, the main flaws are in the story. The Arkham Knight is a boring character, and the Joker sickness is stupid. Some of the side missions are good however half are horrible. This game isn't bad but it's extremely disappointing.

    for a marvel guy, batman is one of my favorite superheroes with awesome villains, looking at this game on paper, 10 out 10, great story, incredible gameplay, awesome world, great visuals, this game is perfect for batman fans, but theres one flaw, the batmobile, personally the batmobiles gameplay is fun, pure dumb fun, it doesn't seem to get old because of the challenge it posses with allfor a marvel guy, batman is one of my favorite superheroes with awesome villains, looking at this game on paper, 10 out 10, great story, incredible gameplay, awesome world, great visuals, this game is perfect for batman fans, but theres one flaw, the batmobile, personally the batmobiles gameplay is fun, pure dumb fun, it doesn't seem to get old because of the challenge it posses with all the enemies, but the controls are clunky as hell which kills the fun factor, the puzzles with it feels like chores, and it just isn’t fun over time, which sucks because i like the batmobile, dumb fun is never bad, it just as bad problems with its controls, puzzles, and overuse, its fun but feels overused, especially if you take consider in the base combat which is this games strongest aspect, in conclusion the game is good, but the batmobile over stays its welcome… Expand

It nails just about every aspect of the Batman experience: gliding from rooftop to rooftop, racing around Gotham in the Batmobile, taking down thugs and supervillains, and working like the detective he's supposed to be.

    The entire experience feels very cinematic, and the developers clearly understand the value of freshness and continually surprising players. So many open world games are littered with pointless identical fetch quests, or even main missions that consist of "go here, fight, go here, fight" but Arkham Knight is so varied and really does justice to the entirety of the Batman world.

    I don't really understand the Batmobile complaints. Is it a little overused? Sure. But it's also fun as hell. You can launch yourself out of the thing 100ft into the air? Launch into an attack? Shoot the thing off a ramp and soar through the air? You summon the thing and it shows up pretty much immediately, and then it allows for super-fast travel? That's traversal done right. And there's plenty of Batmobile content that can be skipped if you're just not into it.

    What an awesome experience. I highly recommend it! I can be a stickler for modern mechanics and graphics, and this thing has aged very well.    … Expand

Scarecrow is threatening Gotham City with his fear toxin. The whole city is evacuated and Batman has to deal with this menace. Additionally there is a new enemy the Arkham Knight who knows far more about Batman then any other of his enemies. The story is good and immersive from start to finish. There is something that I cant spoil that makes it enjoyable and is a good twist or brilliant idea. Alone this makes the game better and I was most entertained. Lets say it is all inside his head ;-). However the Arkham Knight was disappointing. When you have even a little knowledge you think about who he could be and make a conclusion that it could not be a certain character as it would be much too obvious, a letdown and boring. It was that character and they advertised the Arkham Knight as something special and mysterious. The addition that we all were hyped for was the Batmobile. While being firstly satisfying and awesome it gets soon boring and repetitive or just overstayed its welcome. After a while you want to skip using it. Then there is the true ending. You have too solve all Riddlers trophies to get it. It is a waste of time as there are over 200 and I as nearly all others don't have the patience to do this (and skill for some if I am honest). Luckily there is YouTube for this. The gameplay is rock solid or stays at the formula of the Arkham games and the stealth and free flow combat system is satisfying. I must repeat that this games make you feel like Batman. It is still satisfying to use stealth to incapacitate one enemy after the other without getting seen or feel the impact of hits and counters in the free flow combat. I must however also admit that it gets a bit repetitive after 3 games. You get also new gadgets that are satisfying. Warning: Some can be missed or skipped. The graphic and representation is really good. The soundtrack helps to create a good atmosphere. I think I have enough dodged the bullet. Overall this is my least liked Arkham game. Some disappointments add up like the Batmobile, true ending, some parts of the (good) story and the identity of the Arkham Knight. Sounds maybe too harsh because it is still a good game but not as good and impressive as Arkham Asylum and Arkham City at their time.… Expand

    Batman: Arkham Knight is the best looking game in the series so far, and includes a lot of cool stuff for fans of Batman. But at the same time it’s starting to feel like Rocksteady is almost too comfortable. It lacks new content, except the pretty bad designed Batmobile parts. If you haven’t played the previous games that much you will probably think that this is one of the best games this year.
