    Great game, keep going Ubisoft! More stuff like this in Far Cry 6 please and not whatever Far Cry 5 was. Make it more serious, make it mean something, go deeper with stuff. You have done it in past with Far Cry 3, AC Black Flag and AC Unity. You can do it again.

    Lots of content, at least 3 huge maps, more coming with dlc's i think, combat is brutal, story is fun most of the time, graphics are amazing.

    I bought both PS5 and PS4 versions (PC digital as well), but PS5 and PS4 as discs, just to have all possible versions i cared about. Am i fan? I think so lol.

    OMG i love this game so much, basically nothing from 2020 compares, okay doom eternal is great and final fantasy 7 remake as well, but these are so different from this. They are all great in their own way. But AC Valhalla is just epic.

    8 Days to go for Cyberpunk 2077, so hyped! But until then i can play this epic, been having so much fun with Valhalla, would recommend if you like big open world games.

    I never really cared for Odyssey, yeah it was fun in 2018, but overall story sucked and it missed so many AC elements. Valhalla fixes it all. Only thing i would complain about Valhalla is that i run out of arrows all the time. Why can't i craft arrows? Come on Ubisoft.

    Of course it has some bugs, it's insanely big open world game, but most bugs were fixed in 1.0.4 patch, now from here on it's just quality fixes and additional content.

    Ghost of Tsushima shouldn't be even compared to AC Valhalla. Yes they share similar elements, but overall they are completely different games. AC Valhalla world is way bigger, deeper and it's part of long series. Ghost of Thusima is completely different thing. There you wont climb mountains and assassinate people with hidden blade.     That's why sites like "Steam" are so much better, because there you actually need to show that you own the game. Over 50% negative reviews here are fake or double fake accounts. I did some investigation and it's so obvious.     I consider myself a "new" gamer and I like really much the AC saga. Still, I find this game somehow wanting to copy the riddles used on God of War with no sort of preparation to completing a level with something there is no way you can know how to pass. If I´m honest, I find myself searching for gameplay tutorials on YouTube in order to achieve the goal and affecting the way I like playingI consider myself a "new" gamer and I like really much the AC saga.     Game is unfinished man.. I'm so disappointed, unity was horrible, this is just about as bad... Can't collect the wealth of some characters with already limited resources, after completing the winchester missions I got a faded black line through the screen and had to restart, after restarting and doing another mission I had my guide bar at the top disappear. The movement is crazy glitchy as in eivor not climbing then when you redo it climbs right up the exact same spot. Sometimes eivor will get stuck but dodge gets him in stuck. Controller disconnection doesn't pause the game. When the game pauses you get the keyboard pop ups. Overall a bad port at about the glitchiness of unity. Must have been a reason a patch came 3 days prior to release. Other than the unplayability and crashing every 30 mins it's not bad... … Expand

    First mission was glitched so I had to do another mission to reset it, but most of all I’m sick of dying by fire, this part ruins the whole game for me.

    So far my favorite AC location was Paris from Unity, but Norway-England might be my new favorite. So well created. Good job Ubisoft, i mean it.

I personally found "Ghost of Tsushima" pretty boring compared to Valhalla, but these games shouldn't be compared anyway, because they are very different.     Assassin's Creed is one of the greatest things that has happened to gaming after Grand theft auto series. Ability to go back in time 100s of years and visit these old cities and locations is simply amazing. No other game series offer something like that.     I'm so happy that this game turned out to be as awesome as it is. One of the best games of 2020 without a question. Reading these hate comments makes it very clear that none of these losers who gave it 0/10 or 1/10 have never played it. Can't wait for Far Cry 6, because Ubisoft is back!

    If you ever played Odyssey and Origin for more than 200hrs this game is not showing much more new things to you, and here are the pros and cons after played 80+ hrs and finished the main story.
    Pros:
    - the dual weapon system is great, provide lots of way that you can fight and the boss flight is much fun - the skill tree setup is fun, same as the way you get abilities by traveling the    If you ever played Odyssey and Origin for more than 200hrs this game is not showing much more new things to you, and here are the pros and cons after played 80+ hrs and finished the main story.
    Pros:
    - the dual weapon system is great, provide lots of way that you can fight and the boss flight is much fun
    - the skill tree setup is fun, same as the way you get abilities by traveling the world
    - the way that armors are now so scarce prevent you have to deal with hundreds of items like in Odyssey.
    That's the only good points I think and thus I give it 3.0/10.0

    Cons:
    - Bug, the background music sometimes stuck and never change no matter where you go.
    - Bug, the controller stuck in vibration mode and never went off while you are in Asgard.
    - Bug, after playing 3-4 hrs some visual glitches start appearing on screen.
    - Bug, randomly crash entire game.
    - Bad feature, the siege mission is so boring and repetitive, always the same procedure. Its fun for the first time but after that, you will have to do it for at least 10 times without anything new.
    - Bad feature, the main story in England is too long, have to deal with so much area and they all feel the same.
    - Bad feature, with the Odin sight, the bird is useless.
    - Bad feature, cannot wield weapon on mount, can only kick with your legs
    - Bad feature, the vendor all over the world share the same vault, you wont expect to buy something rare from different places.
    - Bad feature, the settlement is not impressive at all.
    - Bad feature, the raid is same as the siege, too repetitive, makes you feel tired of doing it just for the settlement resources.
    - Story, Its not clear why this viking has suddenly become an assassin
    - Story, just grinding England area to get allies is not appealing comparing with family story depicted in Odyssey.
    - Story, did not show a clear story with modern timeline as well as how the ancient knowledge get involved, everything feels like piling up features and not make any sense.

    Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with AC Valhalla, the only good thing is combat system, DONT EXPECT ANYTHING ELSE.

I understand that you want to promote your own store and that's completely normal, Rockstar is doing exactly same thing, but they also put their games into steam. Why not both? And AC Valhalla sold a lot anyway from Ubisoft Launcher, so it wouldn't hurt inAmazing game! But Ubisoft come on, you need to bring it to steam.     I have always liked Assassin's Creed soundtracks, they hit the nail basically every time, but this one.....this one might be my favorite. Specially main theme, but there's also so many good themes that play while you just free roam. Very well made soundtrack. Been playing around 25 hours i think and story is well written, but what really impressed me was graphics.

    Might be my favorite map of any Ubisoft game ever. Sure, i like Paris in Unity and Black Flag has generally interesting map, but Valhalla is just new level. Very beautiful game.

    Good comeback Ubisoft! This game has way more depth than i expect, hopefully that's how Ubisoft main titles will be from now on. At least AC and Far Cry.

    PC version is easily best version of this game, but it's really nice what they did with ps5/xbox series x/s. Very beautiful graphics and fun story, i'm sure most AC fans will like it.

    Pros: Story is good, graphics decent, assasins theme is kind of back.
    Negatives: Lots of copy paste missions, glitched trophies preventing platinum. Most of mid-game is boring (for each area, new characters are introduced and used for the next 2-3 hours, then thrown away once the area arc finishes)

    This Assassin's Creed game is great. This is new level and i want more of this, not right now ,but in general terms. Can't wait for Ireland and Paris dlc. Both Norway and England look absolutely stunning.
    Beautiful game, one of the best of the series. Graphics looks good on ps4, gameplay is smooth and well written story and quests. Let's go in more contents!

    I don't believe people who hate this are actual AC fans, they are very likely same people who destroyed AC Origins user score and are now trying to do same with this one, because they every competition to their trash exclusives must be destroyed, right?     I finished Black Flag, Unity, Syndicate and Origins while preparing for this and it's so enjoyable so far. Story hooked me from the beginning and i love sailing in Norway, super relaxing. Combat is very brutal this time.

    Never cared for Odyssey, Valhalla is so much better. No grind as far as i can tell and game is actually interesting this time. You get 2 skill points for basically every mission you complete. Power level goes up fast enough. If someone think this is boring, i'm sure you will your "FUN" out of games like last of us part II.

    Can anyone get more bitter than someone who played Assassin's Creed back in 2012, haven't cared for past 7 games and still tries to hate it and pretend that he/she is actually fan?     Positives so far: Graphics, Story, Likable Characters, Open-world, Variety of Enemies, Secrets, Classic Assassin elements are back.
    Negatives/Could be better: Needs some improvements, but overall very solid, specially after patch 1.0.4 that fixed lots of issues for me.

    Takes 20 minutes to check out gameplay and trailer from youtube. It wont spoil pretty much anything, because it's very long game. I think any reasonable person would do that before paying 60 dollars. I would never but Marvel's Avengers, already knowing that i will hate it and then gonna give it 0/10. Makes no sense. Yeah Unity had awful launch, but they pretty much fixed it in first 2 months and i almost hate that people bring it up all the time, because so many games have had absolutely awful launch, but they never get so much whining, maybe it was because AC is so popular idk. Either way Unity has best parkour of the series and graphics that still impress me today. Odyssey was kind of mistake imo, because story was meh and it grindy. Now Valhalla fixed it all and bring back stuff i loved from Black Flag and parkour elements from Unity. Overall Valhalla is very good AC game and better than last two.… Expand

The downsides are how easy the game is. Ive run into very little difficulty despite playing with both stealth and combat on hard difficulty. The challenge mostly comes from its side content usually requiring you to use a certain degree of intuition and exploration to find out where a piece of treasure is, or what an npc wants you to do. If you like a simple yet intriguing and surprisingly mature story, RPG mechanics such as changing your appearance with different hair/beard styles, tattoos, and outfits as well as different lines of dialogue, good if not great characters and voice acting, but dont mind the ridiculously easy combat, (seriously, dont worry about level gating) then youll most likely enjoy this game like i have.

    Now, the stealth actually is rather well done in my opinion. It makes you feel like a badass without making you feel like a god. I assassinated 4 people in a row using a combination of stealth and combat. I took two people out with the hidden blade, then hurrled an axe 70 feet to hit another enemy directly in the back of the head then scooped a sword from one of my previously assassinated victims off the ground and flung it at a forth enemy, killing him outright. Now if that doesnt make you feel like a badass, i dont know what will. However, the stealth is hampered by having no consequences when you get caught because, as i mentioned already, the combat is already super easy.

    Oh, i almost forgot. There are tons of bugs. Ive had quite a few crashes, but i was playing on my base ps4, so if youve got a ps5 or ps4 pro, i doubt youd have as many problems as me. But the fact that i praise this game so much despite all that should speak to how much i truly like this game.    … Expand

    I like the fact that when you swim, the water is really cold, and it's affect your health immediately, and the screen start to freeze on the side. really nice
    The fact that you can put different markers (with numbers) on the map is real plus for the explorations options

    Cons : where to begin.... First, I like AC : Black flag : Great. Origines : naaahh. Odyssee : Awesome. I was really looking forward to that game. But here, the rhythm of the game is just terrible (after about 7h of gaming, it's just : movie, movie, (you can't skip by the way, just accelerate sometimes).... you go on a boat that you do not control, change map... have the impression that you really played like 1h hour...
    The playability is just really sad, and terrible. It was nearly perfect on Odyssey, but here, the camera is just terrible. They put walls where they shouldn't, it's an epic journey if you just want to get out of a window of a little hut, fights are really not created for the 'assassin' strategy (you have to use a horn, most of the time).
    During a battle against a boss, I fell under the level... no way to escape or continue the combat... seriously, just after downloading a patch.
    Graphics (as I said, the mood is ok), but you have so much apple and cheese on tables (that you cannot get), but you have to get berries in nearly frozen bushes for supplies.. come on... please, take back the time you took for that and FIX the camera !

    It's not a good game, that's all, and it's really sad. You have to watch 10 minutes of discussion before not having control of the game, and finally get a treasure that you will not use, because you already update your gear with better stuff during the presentation of the game.
    For 20$, maybe, enjoy.    … Expand

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.
