Nov 11, 2020I need to slap ubisoft at this one. There is nothing new. Engine is same just different story. And for now this is average

Nov 11, 2020I bet there will be tons of people who wanna give this game 0 or 1 scores because they are empty, sad people who are not able to enjoy anything good. I will give 10 just for that, but i would give 10 no matter what to be honest. This game is truly amazing. I actually can't believe Ubisoft delivered that well this time. I was hoping it will be good, but wow.

Nov 11, 2020I don't like this game.Souless, crappy animations, clunky combat, terrible and stupid AI,game is very easy even in hard

Nov 11, 2020There's very clearly war between real Assassin's Creed fans and people who only liked first 2 games and think that now they can dictate what or how this series needs to be. Actual Assassin's Creed fans need to fight back now more than ever. Because this game truly deserves it and needs all the support possible.

Nov 11, 2020Best AC game I’ve ever played. Great story, mechanics, and lots to do in the world. My only gripe is the combat is a bit wonky.
-
Nov 11, 2020Almost 10 hours in and I'm hooked. My only complaint as always is the optimization.

Nov 11, 2020I dont know why its called Assassin's Creed at this point. Every aspect of a true AC js Just an afterthought. The Parkour is generic at best. The facial animations are really not up to date. For an AC game I have never seen a game focusing on Open-combat so much. You are literally playing a Warrior. Remember, this is called Assassin's Creed. Of course IT should be reviewed that way.

Nov 11, 2020Another **** from ubisoft. Gameplay did not change, map design is good but after 2 days of playing, it bored.
-
Nov 11, 2020It looks fine. Not as good as HZD for example but fine. Parcour gets worse each iteration. Fighting is clunky, way too easy and boring. Story is uninteresting for the most part. And it's way too long again, witch too little interesting content.

Nov 11, 2020I would recommend Youtube channel "Downward Thrust" review of this game. He is one these people who actually understand this game, not one of these "it's so boring, blah blah blah". I'm personally not going to write long review, because there's so many people out there who know how to say things better, so i will make it short. This game is absolutely amazing.

Nov 11, 2020If there was one game from January 2020 to November 2020 period i could play, i would easily choose this one. It's just amazing. It has some bugs here and there, but that's expected from large open world games. Cyberpunk 2077 will have them as well, no matter how much they polish it. Top 5 game from 2020 without any question. Highly recommended.

Nov 11, 2020Visually stunning huge game world, that has very enjoyable story, interesting characters and tons of mysteries and secrets to discover. I will keep playing this game for years to come, that's for sure. Last game that truly made me feel this way was Red Dead Redemption 2.
Side note: It has better voice acting than previous two games, just something to point out.

Game World Navigator MagazineDec 25, 2020There are far fewer cookie-cutter outposts than in previous AC’s, and most sidequests now offer an interesting story, sometimes even with a less-than-obvious solution. While some anti-grind measures have backfired, Ubisoft is on the right track. [Issue#250, page 56]

Dec 17, 2020Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.

Playstation Official Magazine UKDec 14, 2020When Valhalla is at its best, it evolves series mechanics. And when you’re cruising down river, about to blow your raiding horn, there’s nothing quite like it. [Issue#183, p.71]
