    Make this game disappear from existence

    If you already OWN a copy of warcraft 3, now you'll have to download 30GBs of unusable content that overwrites your own game and it simply didn't work for me cause the game wanted to update but for some reason it couldn't. I could not play anything not my old game, nor anything, even if I uninstalled the whole 30gbs garbage and installed my old cds    Make this game disappear from existence

    If you already OWN a copy of warcraft 3, now you'll have to download 30GBs of unusable content that overwrites your own game and it simply didn't work for me cause the game wanted to update but for some reason it couldn't. I could not play anything not my old game, nor anything, even if I uninstalled the whole 30gbs garbage and installed my old cds (glad I keep those around after 10+ years) the game automatically tries to update to reforged. Ok, put my own experience aside, is Reforged actually good? Nope, it's worse than the original game, there's no ladder, there's more bugs, the game is CLEARLY unfinished, colors are inconsistent between buildings of the same race, sizing of units and buildings are inconsistent, some units, specially undead, have a base color that is over the team color (skeletons are GREEN just GREEN you can't tell them apart from a regular creep and good luck finding your own statues/destroyers in a mirror). Things we saw since first spoilers and beta were not fixed, more bugs were added, old users who don't upgrade to a better PC won't be able to play the SAME GAME they've been playing for years, there's NO ADDED CONTENT, it's just 30GB of SKINS. This is the worst game ever released and blizzard can't even go back until they fix stuff because now the damage is already done. I'd love if they just apologized and took it back than gave free stuff for everyone who bought reforged (like skins that are worth NOTHING AT ALL in warcraft 3). But they won't. They will patch to death and luckily kill this game
    . And riot games will launch their version of warcraft 3 with mostly the same abilities and all the pro warcraft players will migrate to that    … Expand

    I actually didn't buy the game.. was planning too, but when i saw that you literally butchered my childhood game, to an extent that i couldn't even imagine, i made an account on metacritic just so that i can show my disappointment. This game, and Blizzard, are dead. And it truly marks the time we live of "game as a service" and "gamers as costumers".     4+ hours of reformed cutscene are not to the quality that they show on the site to buy the game. Killed a good portion of the custom game scene. Game seems to run at a smooth 10 fps in higher resolutions. Random crashes are to be expected frequently. On launch missions auto failed. And is generally not made with the same love as the original WC3, which was also broken with the launch of4+ hours of reformed cutscene are not to the quality that they show on the site to buy the game.     Bilzzard FXXXED my nostalgia! when i was 15, i played Warcraft 3. It was first Warcraft franchise i ever met, and impressed their story and characters. And "Reforged"? What they were forged? It just ruined "game" what was borrowed franchise name, Warcraft.

    Why just loading when i click post button? It's annoying.

    It just breaks my heart, looking at what Blizzard has become. And it worries me about the future of Diablo 4 and the probable Diablo 2 remaster. You know what Blizzard, please don't remaster Diablo 2. Let it remain as the fond memory, do not ruin it like you did WC3.

    Lots of bags, freezes. Poor performance even at descent hardware. Overall games looks raw, Lots of features are lost: player profiles, clans, auto-tournaments. it's basically downgrade comparing to original W3.

    Graphics is downgraded. The game is optimized badly. Promises, which they promise on Bliizcon, the did not fulfill. And they do not give the opportunity to return the money!!!!!!

Campaign was not what was advertised. No cinematics other than 1st one advertised. no in-game cut scene improvements, no voice over, no changes to game (i.e. Extra Hard Mode).

    Even when/if they fix the bugs (there are a lot) and bring back multiplayer environment of past. It's $30 for updated character models.

    I refunded it and play on classic and find it just as nostalgic. People don't realize what they are paying for. You can still play classic for free with other reforged players, albeit in this crappy new UI they force fed.    … Expand

I took comfort in the fact that I still was able to go back to the classic wc3 if reforged wasn’t up to snuff. But then blizzard to something like this, not ok! I would be fine with whatever as long as the original game remained unchanged. I would also be fine with anI pre ordered the game, playing some melee and eventually some custom games. Blizzard that we all loved is no more, as the only concern they have now (along with ACtivision) is pure profits. I think that even the term reforged, were intentionally used to make you believe that it’s something more then updated graphics. There is no point to go into details. They will fix bugs, make a better optimization, eventually..but we all been lied upon. And that is a good sight, at least for me, to stop supporting the company in any ways. Congrats, Blizzard and Activision. You achieved something more then profits here, no trust, no pity to you now, you bustards! People and fans should unite to make a long term effect on the company’s profits and reputation! Or they will do it again and again..… Expand

    Esse e o pior tipo de remasterização possível em um jogo. Somente deram update nas texturas e estão cobrando extremamente caro nisso, o valor de um jogo completo sem novidades nenhuma. E ainda por cima mataram o cliente antigo do jogo, e mudaram a politica de criação de mapas. TUDO O QUE VC FAZ E PROPRIEDADE DA BLIZZARD. Acabou com o desenvolvimentos de jogos com a ferramenta. Nao compremEsse e o pior tipo de remasterização possível em um jogo. Somente deram update nas texturas e estão cobrando extremamente caro nisso, o valor de um jogo completo sem novidades nenhuma.     This update affects the original game so whether you decided to buy the Reforged version or not you are going to have issues with your game, especially playing online maps.

    The new Blizzard has defecated on my childhood. The only thing I can do in retaliation is defecate on their Metacritic score. If I could give it a -100 out of 10 I would had. Believe me, it is that bad.

    -Incredibly buggy
    -Very limited improvements in some areas
    -Widespread issues in multiplayer
    -False advertising
    -modders are screwed over

    No clans. No profiles. Can no longer have more than 1 account. No more custom campaign functionality. No more Reign of Chaos balance for the Reign of Chaos campaign. No more built-in tournament functionality. No more The Frozen Throne menu screen. No more LAN functionality. No more offline games versus the AI No more cross-chat with Diablo 2 players. No more /commands. Removed friend list. Removed custom game filter. Custom game list is no longer global - you can't play custom games with people from other regions. No MMR system.     Nothing as promised. Bad graphic and animation, runs poorly on my 2k$ computer. The new cinematics are gone. Not worth 30 euro at all.

    Thank you, Blizzard, I purchased for you for 20$ a game that lags, is buggy, models are built up in the aisles, although there is a place. Not working matchmaking, terrible voice acting of some characters. Very disappointed in the company.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
