    The more I play it the more letdown I am they didn't even remake the original it made it worse the single-player is worse the multiplayer is worse custom campaigns are gone a lot of the Easter eggs are gone I don't know what is going through blizzards head

    They completely deleted peoples old save custom games folders with the update. Along with forcing me to play the new version with the old graphics. I am stuck with a gaming pc playing with 30 FPS animations when on the old client I was running at like 200 fps constantly. This is despicable from Blizzard. This is truly showing that Blizzard has lost their soul and the Young bright-eyedThey completely deleted peoples old save custom games folders with the update.     My only expectations were to see old game with an upgraded graphic. Warcraft III : Reforged did not deliver that promise. I urge you no to buy this game and get a refund if you did.

    The only good thing is that even something improved the graphics, although not as shown or expected. But that is not the problem if not the incomplete game and half that were delivered.

    They REFORGED the game to a much worse state than what it actually was... On top of that they ruined the original one. I guess they will try to make money by scrapping the game first thus creating problems to be solved at future. Then solving those problems by introduction of DLC 's in order to get our money. Utterly disgusting!! You should be ashamed of yourself blizzard!

    I have played Blizzard games since Warcraft 2. I have enjoyed them because they have been quality games that are fun and well made. They showed a degree of quality and polish that set them apart from other gaming companies. I could always rely on a Blizzard game to be crafted to the highest standard in the business.

    After many delays, the game is completely dysfunctional and has failed to deliver many promised features. The features that have been delivered function extremely poorly and have actually caused more problems. I wish I had the chance to revert absolutely everything and use the old client.

    I am so enraged that I payed money for this horseapple. I've been trying to get it to work for the last 2 days and I can still just barely load a campaign mission before it crashes to desktops. On top of that it looks like hell and their are wierd audio glitches that happen every now and and again. All in all bad **** game.

    Blizzard contracted all of the art work to an offshore third party company, and while those art assets are definitely well done (weeell, for the most part, there're some very weird portraits...) and high poly, they feel a little generic (for me, a lot of them don't really feel like Warcraft).     Blizzard contracted all of the art work to an offshore third party company, and while those art assets are definitely well done (weeell, for the most part, there're some very weird portraits...) and high poly, they feel a little generic (for me, a lot of them don't really feel like Warcraft). And even with all of that said, this is probably the best this game has to offer. While majority of models do look good and are well mode, for me they don't really fit in the terrain, the terrain feels really flat and honestly ugly in comparison, It doesn't feel like the units belong to the world they're walking in. In that same vein, for me it feels like the units and most buildings don't fit together either.

    None of the above warrant a 0 score, of course, what does is all the rest. Besides the updated graphics, which are very inconsistent as I mentioned previously, everything else they did for Reforged is just...bad. Amateurish.

    - The menus look like something from the 90s, are sluggish, overlap on top of each other in weird ways.
    - Lighting is off, some units' skin or cloth like hoods, etc, have a metallic reflection to them which is very off putting.
    - They've *removed* several features that existed in classic: clans, custom campaigns, automated tournaments, ladder, offline play, and I'm probably forgetting something.
    - What's worse! Even if you didn't purchase the game, you're still forced to download the 25Gb patch that removes all those features. They've essentially downgraded their 2002 game for all of the loyal fans that still played it and hadn't even bouth Reforged.
    - Even worse is the graphical quality of the classic game has also degraded, whether you have purchase reforged or only own the classic game.
    - When they announced the game they said they were giving back to the community, but then we had 1 year of complete silence, only to have a 45min panel at Blizzcon 2019 saying they were removing the majority of promissed new features (though they never mentioned they were also removing existing features...)
    - Among the promised and then removed features: reforged CGIs, reforged cutscenes for the campaign, redesigned levels - this last one they at least did *some* of them.

    From that last bullet, I wanna point out that the whole development cycle of this game was extremelly frustrating for the fans. Honestly, one of the messiest game releases I've watched closely. No communication, a bunch of broken promises, absolutely ZERO polish, taking away existing features from a great game, ZERO heart put into it. I won't even say they made the bare minimum to get this out, they made way less than bare minimum.

    This game was a trevesty. Something that had such great potential. Something that could have revitalized one of the greatest games I've ever played. And it turned out this was just a quick cash grab, preying on all the fools that had fond memories of a time when Blizzard actually put out games because they liked games.

    I'm very certain this was the last time I've given my money to this trash company.    … Expand

    Bait and switch. Everything they *advertised* about the game that made me want to buy it was apparently cancelled and not implemented, with zero word from blizzard. This is the last straw, they have lost me as a customer until they have a complete overhaul of their management.

    I made a MetaCritic account just to post this. There were so many promises and yet they delivered on none of them. From a developer perspective, it looks and feels like they took every single shortcut in the book just to get the game out of the door.
    Blizzard has officially been taken over by the suits at Activision - The magic is gone.

    Loved Warcraft 3 when I was a kid, this was just a money grab with no work done to make good on any promises made. Never again will I purchase a Blizzard game trust is gone and I will not waste my hard earned money on garbage products again.

    This game is missing many features that were in previous games. If the game let me stay playing the original warcraft 3 I would've been ok just to see what the upgrade would have been but its forced.

    8. Blizzard remove the classic Warcraft 3 from battle.net, so the old community need to buy the new version if they want to play it.
    9. Blizzard put EULA, so if anybody create anything on this game, your creation below to blizzard.
    10. The game has FPS issues.

    I played this game when it first came out. The reforged version sounded like a great idea. In practice it is horrible and leaves out much of what it said it would have. Honestly could not be more disappointed in how this turned out.

    False Advertising. There should be a class action lawsuit against Blizzard for this... It does not contain any of the things they promised, it broke the existing game, and it's so buggy that it's unplayable. This is yet another stain. Maybe if they didn't lay off their employees so often they wouldn't have to lie and outsource garbage like this.

    I was so excited to get this game after growing up playing Frozen Throne and BOY have I been let down. I don't know if this release is worse than Diablo III and the 18 hour sever downtime, but both games on release are terrible.

    Warcraft 3 refunded another misstake after Diablo immortal and not event an off season april fool joke.

    I have been a gamer for over 20 years,and bliz was my first love,my first game developer,my childhood was flooded with dreams about the games i was playing during the day but now now its like I've been given poison acid to drink,i am disappointed beyond words.

    This Game broke my heart. I played the original one 15 years ago and I always loved and lived Warcraft. This game is a mess and a shame, not just for blizzard. Its a shame for the whole gaming industry.

    A massive disappointment. Laggy from the mains creen and looks often very goofy and sometimes arguably worse then the original. As someone who was looking foward to this release am very sad.

    An absolutely horrendous remaster. They're just milking the brand of the legendary Warcraft series.

    this must border on criminal with what they’ve sold to us compared to what was promised. Their silence on it is deafening. Get your refunds whilst you can because this is another Blizzard **** Dear lord, what a sad little game, Blizzard. You ruined a 17 year old game completely so you could have the money

    "Wacraft III: Refunded", as it is called correctly, is the perfect mirror of how the company Blizzard is today.

    Over are all the good old days and Warcaft got destroyed 100%... Yes, even the good old classic which is not playable anymore... what a big big big shame...

    I've been waiting for months for this to drop, simply because ever since they patched classic, heroes lose the ability to carry items in campaign mode. Now there's about 50 other problems to go along with it, because they MERGED my almost 20 year old game with this TRASH. Now I have to wait even LONGER for them to fix this. This is NOT the Blizzard I grew up with.

    Having bought this as pre order being a huge fan and still a player of the original on my old laptop, horrified to see they have now made old psi for game obsolete, have falsely advertised a product by promising items during pre order and in release not delivering. Absolute waste of money for NO new promised gameplay or footage.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
