    Not worth the price for what you (don't) get. Spent a good amount of time playing the original back in the day. Was looking forward to checking this one out. Definitely going to pass on that now.

    Trotz aller berechtigten Kritik und einem Unternehmen, das leider nicht von oberster Etage bis zur untersten Etage mit Herzblut für Videospiele und für Menschen, die Videospiele lieben arbeiten, sondern lediglich, und das ist auch so oder so ein Teil jeder Arbeitsgemeinschaft, nur eben nicht nur, für das Geld. Das mag im Allgemeinen zwar so scheinen als wäre dies der unliebliche ZustandTrotz aller berechtigten Kritik und einem Unternehmen, das leider nicht von oberster Etage bis zur untersten Etage mit Herzblut für Videospiele und für Menschen, die Videospiele lieben arbeiten, sondern lediglich, und das ist auch so oder so ein Teil jeder Arbeitsgemeinschaft, nur eben nicht nur, für das Geld. Das mag im Allgemeinen zwar so scheinen als wäre dies der unliebliche Zustand unserer Welt, der Welt unserer menschlichen Vorstellungen und, die wir fast alle so auch aus- und mitleben, von uns erzeugt und allem vorran "Selbst Schuld", das wir uns nicht auf eine anderen Art zu leben einigen wollen, allerdings hat ein Unternehmen mit dieser Reichweite, diesem Budget, solch eine großen Anzahl an professionellen Mitarbeitern ganz schön in die Röhre zu gucken, wenn es solche Versprechungen macht und sie nicht einhält. Marketing und Qualitätsmanagement sowie die Führungsetage haben die Bank weg versagt, danke dennoch an die Entwickler, denn: Ich für meinen Teil habe Spaß an dem Schinken, auch, wenn da sicherlicher unendlich viel mehr gegangen wäre und ich mich auf solches eigentlich auch gefreut hatte.. bleibt dran, macht noch was draus' und lasst euch nicht einkriegen, auch, wenn ihr einen geringen Teil dazu beigetragen habt, so wie wir in unserer Weltgemeinschaft leben "macht ihr eben nur euren Job", so wie man es euch sagt, und ernährt damit Familie und mehr. Ganz so einfach ist das am Ende dann doch alles nicht, zumindest nicht, wenn die Menschheit es sich immer wieder schwer macht. Ein gutes Beispiel, wie immer mehr in die Hose geht, was unsere Gesellschaft hervorzubringen versucht.

    An alle, die nicht NUR Probleme mit dem Spiel haben: Habt weiterhin Spaß, dafür ist's da. Schlußendlich ist und bleibt es nur ein Computerspiel für 30 Euro. Und für 30 Euro hab ich einen schönen Nostalgietrip erlebt, der in Ordnung ist.    … Expand

    Ich denke zu den Enttäuschungen des Spiels brauche ich nicht mehr viel schreiben. Das wurde hier schon zur genüge getan. Vielmehr zeigt dieses Spiel wie weit sich Blizzard von den Spielern (und bislang treuen Fans) entfernt hat. Das zebricht einem das Herz.

Custom games bugs everywhere, map disconnects, map creation errors, create game errors, joining custom maps seeing undefined, almost all maps crash mid-game. Cinematics crap, elf campaigns? Nope...     I was a massive fan of Warcraft 2 when I was a kid. Unfortunately I never got the chance to play Warcraft III when it first came out, but I loved the Demo and played it a ton. Now that I'm an adult I was looking forward to being able to purchase this remake and enjoy the game, and now I can't because how broken it is. I'm not gonna give my money for an incomplete game that's worse than theI was a massive fan of Warcraft 2 when I was a kid.     Not what was promised at all. I still play original Warcraft 3 to this day and have with a regular community of people for many many years. Blizzard somehow managed to ruin that too.

More features were removed from the base game than this expansion adds.

    It's brazen to make changes to a game that came out 17 years ago with the goal of restricting how users use it and bizarre to charge users for a package which isn't quite what it claims to be.

    There are new art assets in the game, although the art style seems to differ a bit from the direction that they took with World of Warcraft. Overall, it's pretty good though.

    Basically, you're getting new models added to a 17 year-old game with a worse online experience than what the game offered a week ago, which is a product which far more loosely fits the description of a video game product.

    WHAT YOU GET FOR $40/$50 USD:
    - New art assets from the trailer, but none of the cinematic events described in the trailer
    - Widescreen aspect ratio

    Could have been $10/$15 dollars? This was more about reconciling the EULA and I expect it will speed up the eventual demise of the game, after this wave of renewed interest dies down. It is overall a downgrade for long-term users of the old product.    … Expand

    downgrade to the classic UI, lot of bugs, cut off of many important aspects of the old game ( clan system, ranked games, lan games,friend list etc...) the skins are ok but the game its very BAD OPTIMIZED causing average computers long loading times, worth a refund? i would say no, worth the price they asked for? not even the half.

Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me.     Blizzard cut every corner possible in the "reforge". Honestly it's as if there were no code changes at all just a fancy Botox injections to cause face sagging. It's really a shame that the last chance they had to revive the franchise was pissed away, possibly, more so than Diablo 3. Surprisingly, for the game that created World of Warcraft they put zero effort into it. You'd think expectBlizzard cut every corner possible in the "reforge". Honestly it's as if there were no code changes at all just a fancy Botox injections to cause face sagging. It's really a shame that the last chance they had to revive the franchise was pissed away, possibly, more so than Diablo 3.     I actually enjoy this game. Just jumping on the band wagon and pooping all over this game. Non conformist that I am, i sure do miss my OG DOTA. Did I hit the minimum characters yet? Guess not, I'll keep blabbering. I never got to play the original campaign in WC3 Reign of Chaos, so this is a delightful experience for the first time, as **** as the experience is, it's fresh.

Obviously this game is a classic and back in the day very astonishing, but the sheer slap in the face to fans is louder than a gun shot , this is like having an ex come back into your life , just to hound you for child support for a 17 year old child thatOOOOOF this game has all the grace of A Nazi dying from cyanide , only to come back from the dread disfigured and maggot ridden. Blizzard, like Bioware before them, is now officially part of the once great studios that have forsaken what made them gaming royalty in exchange for a quick buck. Shame on you Blizzard. The money you could have made by maintaining your reputation is gone forever.

    Can't believe how close I was to preordering this on the grounds of, how could they mess up WC3?? That has to be impossible, but man was I wrong. The game studio I loved throughout my childhood is gone and still stands in name only, RIP Blizzard.

    Tried to do essentially a lan party with 12 friends. Between the poor ux choices and being kicked from the lobby (not because of the host) it took us 1.5 hours just to get into a custom game! I wanted to believe this uproar on meta critic was not deserved... But then I played and experienced this and frequent disconnects. I'm a long time fan of blizzard games and I'm severely disappointed

    This game has massive server issues and bugs that they have failed to fix. 20fps is not great for 2020. They have also removed the original game so i can no longer play the original again.

    I pre-ordered and got bait and switched. This is worse than the original game. Every system change to reforged retroactively changes the original game as well. Blizzard has destroyed both games with the custom games legal tos, and the entire community behind the custom games that have been created since the original launch in 2002.

    Thanks for taking a game i had already bought and paid for (regular warcraft 3), and taking away my ability to play it. I dont actually want to own the things I've bought, and would prefer a soulless corporation tell me what I want.

    I tried to play a custom match. Apparently when I add a computer I just get kicked from my own match. When I try to load up a campaign I just get an instant defeat. Cant go back to classic, forced to update to new game... thanks....

    Not what was promised at blizzcon. Cut scenes are not at the quality they showed in the preview. Also forces a upgrade on the original version that breaks features. There are long lists of other missing features besides what I've listed here. Very out of character for Blizzard.

    After hearing about all of the empty promises and now utterly broken game, I would never get close to this again. Not only is this a terrible tribute to an amazing game that got me into the Warcraft genre, but it killed off the great and amazing game that many people loved to play as kids. A shame how far this great company has fallen.

    Did buy the game, had it refunded. I am only interested in the single player game. Disappointed no updated story, lacklustre cinematics, no updated UI. Will just whip out the original CD and play with graphics mods. Would consider repurchasing if a true remake, not this misleading mess.

    Получили: Графен перелопатили так, что мрачный вар выглядит как кислотный трип. Анимация лиц настолько ужасна, что иногда смотря на их лица во времы выполнения приказа, можно запросто отложить тонну кирпичей. Просадки ФПС настолько сильные, что ванильный вар, у которого лаги случались только, когда количество юнитов на экране переваливало за сотню другую и то все работало более менее. А тут просто начинается лютое слайд-шоу, которое никак не лечится. Демоверсия выглядела лучше, чем релиз. Причем для этого всего нужно топовое железо. Попытки перейти в ванильный вар проваливаются таким же успехом, потому что Рефорж ставится поверх старого Вара. Ставить его нужно обязательно, иначе ты не поиграешь. Старые реалмы бна мертвы и к ним не подключиться. Даунгрейднуть нельзя. Скачать официальный лаунчер вар3 тоже нельзя. Если даже есть старый лаунчер, вар самоапдейтается. Играть в лане нельзя. Играть в кастомные кампании нельзя.
    На кастомных картах дроп в скорскрин обычное дело, автоанхосты, автокики и просто внезапные краши - обыденность. Баги не пофиксили, при этом появилась тонна новых, в духе неуязвимого могильщика.
    Далее - кампанию не переделывали вообще, как обещали. Изменили 3,5 локации, просто в качестве изменения. Мол, что-то переделали. Сделали тупую склейку в диалогах из-за того что в катсценах рефоржа более длинные паузы. В Миссии Осады Луносвета например, Артас просто кричит свою фразу, которая используется в игре и так далее и тому подобное. Озвучка настолько отвратительная, что хочется вырвать себе уши и залить дырки свинец.
    Баланс в кампании хромает на все ноги, потому что в ваниле юниты все отдельные из-за перебалансировки в ТФТ. Поэтому проебать там ничего не стоит, если ты играешь за какую нибудь Плеть на лоу тире (например без масснекров).
    Плюс ко всему, тестирование кастомок тоже отсутвтует потому что нет лана, а так как в новом редакторе используется новый язык триггеров, то на старом варе (в смысле на пиратском например) его не запустить.    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
