    Piece of trash. Bad design. Bugs and crashes. It is a mere MOD developed by amateurs, which does not improve the game. Loss of access to the original game. No refund.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Blizzard promised changes in the campaign. I don't see them, there are only a few exceptions that are not even good. I'm from Russia, our dubbing has been fully changed. Now it suffers from lack of emotions and too much stupid mistakes in syllabic stresses. The voices don't even suit some key characters. So the campaign has no atmosphere, you can't believe in happenning. The graphics are beautiful but Warcraft 3 doesn't need such realistic models, it shouldn't be so detailed. Moreover, some of its parts aren't completed. The game optimization is buried, I have only 20-30 FPS, my laptop is powerful to it though. There are also a lot of bugs in multiplayer, and the original Warcraft 3 is damaged in this terrible situation. Blizzard made the game worse.… Expand

    Thanks to Wacraft Reforged I'm not able to play the classic game again (I didn't and won't buy WCR).

    1. Now I have to download 30Gb while the classic was less than 3Gb. 2. Later I could play on my laptop and mac air (both without dedicated graphics card), now I can't. 3. The classic I could install and play from a flash drive, now I can't. I must have the Battle.net launcher. 4. To    Thanks to Wacraft Reforged I'm not able to play the classic game again (I didn't and won't buy WCR).

    I was glad that I don't preordered the WCR hopping still being able to play the classic, but now I can't.

    I have the physical collector's edition from StarCraft 2 (all three games) and Diablo 3 (both games).
    Probably they are the last games I will ever buy from Blizzard again.

    They delivered a terrible product. I preordered this game and what they showed on their reveal in 2018. is a completely different game than the one we got in 2020. The cutscenes look way worse, the FPS is terrible and many other features were cut.

    THIS IS A MONEY GRAB.

    what was promised and advertised never saw a day light.. 2 years in development and what we got is WC3 remastered and not a reforged version. I want my refund and i cant get it because of blizzard policy. This is money grab, think before You buy....

    I did not pre-order, nor buy this game, but I bought the original WC3 back then.
    Now when I want to play it, I will have to play WC3:Reforged without being able to use the new (ugly) textures, because they merged the two game clients. The new one is about 30GB, so it takes up almost 10 times more space than the old WC3:TFT did, which was like 3.5GB.

    I was really looking forward to this, having only played it when I was a kid. Absolutely embarrassing from Blizzard. Told us this would be "more than a remaster", ended up with LESS features then there were before. Piss off.

    He pagado por un juego en versión coleccionista al cual no puedo jugar por un bug de inicio en el cual la pantalla se pone negra y no corre en una pc moderna y con drivers actualizados que soportó su beta y soporta juegos más pesados que este ( más de 5 días han pasado y no dan solución).     For starters Blizzard spoke of many changes such as remastered cutscenes , instead of those we got the characters just talking to each other on the standard viewpoint that was present in the original Warcraft 3, secondly character portraits were pretty much downgraded (no surprise there) , basically a majority of the changes that were promised never came into fruition.

    Its obvious someone at Activision was rushing these guys , not to mention the lack of marketing for this and the oddly high level of work and marketing for WoW classic , seems that halfway through development Allen Brack just decided to focus on the project with the most popularity.

    The most abysmal part of this whole thing is the fact that warcraft 3 original no longer exists, you cannot get it anywhere.

    The only thing i can give it props for is its ability to not suffer from error 37 much like diablo 3 did .    … Expand

    Normally, if someone releases a remake of a title (movie, game, music) and it sucks I'm not that offended because the original still exists. With Warcraft III Reforged they managed to ruin the original title. Bravo Blizzard!!!

Ive been working in the software industry for 10 years and a product like this, without any quality. do you even had requirements? testing? You had the game in beta testing for months for god sake!!

    So I never played WC3 before as I wasnt into RTS at the time. I couldnt wait to play history, but with a modern look and all the extras. Well I was let down. To be promised so much and given so little... Blizz you made my ex wife seem like I was too hard on her. I'm disappointed beyond words.

    Broken so many custom games, the game itself crashes multiple times. I'm honestly shocked by how bad this was, I expected a    Reforged ? More like Downgraded. Apart from the new models (which admittedly are nice) they've removed so much from what it once was.
    The promises (as still shown on there webpage at this time) of extra content, redone cutscenes and the like are all not in the game.
    Broken so many custom games, the game itself crashes multiple times. I'm honestly shocked by how bad this was, I expected a Love Letter to one of the Best PC Games of all time, by the company who used to have such love for their products. Instead it's now just another example of Blizzard not caring anymore, make a quick buck and hurt those who were loyal to them. Hugely disappointing, but at least they gave me my refund.    … Expand

    This game and the Original Battlefront 2 was my child. After EA ruined the series with their taint I stuck with Warcraft 3 until of course corporate greed caught up. For almost 2 decades the game was perfect until it was ruined. Pretty sure everyone knows the story by now. **** ActivisonBlizzard for desecrating this classic game.

    Played beta and had some issues on the way. Was hopeing some good would be done prior to games release, but unfortunatelly it only went even worse.

    Ça aurait fait un super jeu en 2002, malheureusement le jeu que j’ai précommandé fin 2019 ne respecte pas du tout le cahier des charges annoncé à la blizzcon 2018.
    Si vous avez envie d’acheter le même jeu pour 30 euros de plus je vous le conseil, sinon il vaut mieux attendre qu’ils sortent une nouvelle version du jeu comme annoncé.

    Grew up with Blizzard's Golden Age (DIablo 1 & 2, Warcraft II $ III and Starcraft),

    The game by itself is better that the score of 0 I am giving it, but the game shouldn't be reviewed by itself, because it represent what is wrong with the industry. If you followed this game you know that they removed features from the older version (already owned by older users to have to game happen).    Grew up with Blizzard's Golden Age (DIablo 1 & 2, Warcraft II $ III and Starcraft),

    The game by itself is better that the score of 0 I am giving it, but the game shouldn't be reviewed by itself, because it represent what is wrong with the industry. If you followed this game you know that they removed features from the older version (already owned by older users to have to game happen). With their new license agreement, we are not likely to have has good custom games as we had in the past.

    On top of that, the bait and switch with the "remastered" cut-scenes, the new UI and other features promised in 2018 is just dishonest.

    Blizzard used to make great games with great quality to show their fans they were worth the time and effort. This should have been a project made with love to thank us for sticking with them for so long, instead its a project that was pushed out the door with a kick in the ass.    … Expand

    Absolute garbage!! Most of the content are nothing similar to the original game or ads that they put out. Lots of bugs and online is barely playable. If you want to play Warcraft III, go buy the original instead...

    This is not just about the poor quality of the game compared to thr promises, it is about the treatment of the customers and giving a lesson to thoses who think the gaming universe can only ve about profits.

    In the process of remastering they took away features and released a glitchy mess that didn't have the improvements they promised and is just not finished. On its own that's not the worst thing ever and this game is probably a 3 in reality. The problem is they also made it so you can't go back and play the original version with all the features anymore.     Deplorável. Mapas deletados, modos de jogo criados por fans roubados, gráficos inferiores, bugs a todo momento e tudo isso em apenas uma hora de gameplay, sem contar as outras quatro horas de tentativas falhas em iniciar o jogo. Uma vergonha assim não merece levar o nome de Warcraft III

    Absolutely brutal release... Nothing is as promised and gives the user a very "rushed through production" feeling. Between the bugs / Horrible UI / random crashes and material not in the game thats promised... 0/10 Dumpster fire

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
