    False advertising is barely the beginning of why this is so bad. Missing features, and ruining a previously great game are just the icing on the top.

    I was at BlizzCon when this game was announced and have been counting the days until its release ever since. Sadly what launched even after endless delays has been nothing short of a disaster. The game has ranged from a buggy mess to crashing upon launch.     Blizzard has been banning people for talking about how to get refunds, people who didn't even want the game are being forced onto a client that they didn't even pay for and losing tons of old features as a result, maps are immediately ending in defeat upon launch, and the list goes on and on and on.

    Sadly the main things I was looking forward have all been gotten. There is no longer 4+ hours of new cinematics, much of the improved storyline has been gutted, I thought that the pre-rendered cutscenes were being redone but nope, and even the quality of the in-game movies has been massively downgraded from what they showed off at BlizzCon.

    It's an unmitigated disaster. 0/10 would not recommend.    … Expand

    Long time RTS player here. This game is a disgrace to RTS games everywhere and does nothing but hinder an already dead genre of games. Back to AOE2 I go, since Microsoft actually releases finished products.

    Terrible game. Blizzard is dead. Has been a great run but at this point it is clear that their investors have claimed complete control. They have not kept any of their promises, it's very buggy and even lacks features that we used to have in the original game.

    The only Blizzard games I ever liked were Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, StarCraft: Brood War, and Diablo III: Reaper of Souls.

I'm not foolish enough to think we will ever get back to the glory days of Blizzard North, but I can hope we can at least get back to polished enjoyable titles and never see this pathetic excuse of a cash grab ever again.

    Blizzard continuing the trend of promises not being kept. Reforged ? More like Downgraded. Apart from the new models (which admittedly are nice) they've removed so much from what it once was. Cant even play the old game.

    I was not going to purchase this remaster, so give me back my old Warcraft 3.    Мне было бы плевать на перековку и эту оценку, если бы из-за неё оригинальная WC3 не был бы заруинен. Я не собирался приобретать этот ремастер, а потому верните мне мой старый WarCraft3.
    I wouldn’t give a damn about reforging if the original WC3 weren’t ruined because of it.

    Instant refund for me. Everything they promised was not in the final product. Very disappointed with the blizzard. Literally ruined my childhood memories. Shame on you guys

    Jogo feito somente para pegar seu dinheiro, retiraram diversas features , além de crashes e travamento a todos os momentos. Blizzard ultimamente só quer saber do seu dinheiro, não liga para o seu consumidor, merece esse record com certeza...

    El juego está lleno de Bugs, no incluyeron las campañas orientadas al lore de wow, cinematicas iguales al original, etc. Una total decepción

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
