    Blizzard promised a lot of things that hyped us for more than one year and then they proceeded to fail to deliver a full polished product, or even a good one. The result is mediocre at best, plus the changes to the map editor license... that was a greedy shot that hit really bad on the content creators

    A very poor and lazy remaster. They promissed new cinematics and ended ussing the same game engine to recreate dialogs. This is just a visual update with the same bugs ans poor animations of warcraft 3

    As a big fan of the original series I was thankful for trying to get the game back and make it more comfortable to play in 2020. But they just killed (at least for a while) the game instead(
    My last triggers to write this were a fan made UE4 demo of how it could look like, the destruction of the original on-line game and claim to all custom made scenarios.

    The original WC3 was my first blizzard game and I played WOW and HS since then. This new released destroyed my dreams of a new version of my favorite game. I used to buy every HS expansion and skin just to keep supporting. Not buying any more and also I'm selling my shares of $ATVI

    Blizzard killed the game. Not a remake, not a remaster, all but a disappointment to the great Blizzard Legacy. Promises during Blizzcon were cut, lots of bugs and terrible GUI. Don't buy this game. It is T-R-A-S-H.

    Blizzard once prided themselves on being a company which valued quality, and would always take extra time if needed to ensure a game was perfect before release. Unfortunately... this product is not that. It is instead the first time I’ve ever seen a remaster manage to ruin both itself and the original product. Blizzard should be ashamed of themselves.

Also if you make a cool custom game, blizzard owns the moral rights to it so they can use what you create without crediting you. isn't that fun!

    I've been playing blizzard games since 1999, I haven't bought anything from then in the last two years due to their drop in quality, and decline in business ethics. I received this game as a pre-order gift, and it was so bad, my friend ENCOURAGED me to return it and promised to get me something else. I wasn't going to write this review since I got my refund fairly easily and thought there was no point in beating a dead horse, but then blizzard released a statement basically blaming the consumer and admitting no fault. Make no mistake I rate this 0 out of 10 objectively because of the games lack of promised features, and how it destroys the original be removing features. How they fail to not only make a better version of a 17 year old game but retroactively make the original worse is a beyond comprehension.

    This game is a perfect metaphor for the changes in blizzard as a company. It is hollow...it promises everything and delivers nothing... and it SOMEHOW makes everything I loved in the past worse than it was before when they could have left it alone. I am past angry at blizzard, it now just makes me sad to see what is happening to the company that gave me literally thousands of hours of joy in my childhood. They have lost their soul, their passion, and their integrity. And I feel bad for all of the developers who still try and prop up this empty shell of a company, who actually care, as they are consumed by corporate greed and sheer managerial incompetence and I hope they can all escape it.    … Expand

    The game is an example of a fail remmaster game. Played the original, now I played this abomination and I have one thing to say. Whatever with this chuncked unplayabe game called WCIII REFORGED, I can live with it, but what this fail to accomplish promisses game did to original is terrible. And for that sole reason this game for me is the worst game in the historyk of virtual play.

    Can't even finish the game. Bugged out on the scourge campaign in frozen throne. Really huge disappointment. I loved WC2 and WC3 was ok. This was not a huge improvement to WC3 from what I played. Really wish I hadn't bought this.

    It's wrong to force those whom already own Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne to purchase the remastered. You already shoved the updates down EVERY player's throats, so why not allow those whom already purchased the old games to enjoy the new features? I see people complain left and right about the crashes and such, not sure what to make of the    Here's what I think of the "reforged"...

    Frozen Throne and WC3 were the best RTS ever made and the foundation for all of Blizzard's success. Unfortunately this remake somehow makes that masterpiece totally suck. And I am not talking about the single player campaign false advertising. The visuals just suck. It is dark and dim and you cannot see your units most of the time. Online play is confusing and the visuals have somehowFrozen Throne and WC3 were the best RTS ever made and the foundation for all of Blizzard's success. Unfortunately this remake somehow makes that masterpiece totally suck. And I am not talking about the single player campaign false advertising. The visuals just suck. It is dark and dim and you cannot see your units most of the time. Online play is confusing and the visuals have somehow destroyed the fun cartoony bright and flawless visuals of the original. Please blizzard, fix the visuals and listen to your customers. You are a billion dollar company, you can afford to hire some actual artists to work on this and fix it by patch/free revised version.… Expand

    i felt my childhood was destroyed. you let all of the fans down in the best chance to relive perfection. all for a menial cash grab? when the greed is so great everyone loses. as someone who bought the old version now it's literally unplayable? do the fans get refunds for that? i doubt so
    you should have let them be separate entities like star-craft was left alone

    They lied. They falsely advertised this game, broke promises and delivered an incomplete, buggy product.
    They are quite literally still using the Blizzcon 2018 footage (which is no longer in the game) in their promotional footage for the game.
    0/10, purely out of principle.

    Blizzard is now the worst game developer on the planet. It wasn't Activistion's fault, they willingly transformed their company into what it is today. In retrospect, they never had an original idea, always stealing the idea from somewhere else and polishing it into something nice. I'll never give them another penny.

    Activision, you have always been a money grabbing platform. This isnt a Tony Hawk or a Call of Duty game. We are PC gamers and we have standards. Damned standards. How could you take such a beloved, and even still, arguably relevant, trail blazing game such as Warcraft 3 and treat it like this. Get your **** straight or I will never buy another blizzard or Activision game for as long as IActivision, you have always been a money grabbing platform.     Unfortunately, like most people here, the game didn't deliver on the set expectations by Blizzard. Crappy skin-over, choppy gameplay, missing features promised. What else is there to say. Game doesn't even deserve a 0/10.

Не одной фишки из заявленных не реализовали, и ладно, обо всем этом говорилось, но будем честны, если ты не мониторишь новости каждые 5 минут, то ты об этом не знаешь, а в рекламе,трейлерах и тд все так же использовали качественные материалы из первой презентации.

    How is it even possible to ruin a 17 years old game? I don't know how but Blizzard managed to do it with this one. Flashy trailer but nothing make it in the final game; promised cutscenes do not exist and more and more disappointment.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
