    Don't buy this game. Its literally a downgrade from the original. The only thing that improved was the graphics and everything else went to **** The new graphics does not even look that good. FPS issues removing ladder and player profiles etc. Do not buy this game and don't ever buy from Blizzard ever.

    Don't wanna talk more about this game industry mistake. What I've got while playing: 1 blue screen while trying to play campaign, random game crashes, not being able to join friend's invite to the lobby, different lags. Totally disappointed. It should cost 2 dollars but not 20.

    No VS CPU match.
    No ability to reconnect to a online match and automatic lose.
    Server are a bit laggy, no clan, no chat command, they even erase all my progress on the original and remove my friends list and game from the original game.
    False advertisement.

    At least the model are nice.

    But no, hell no dont buy it. ask for the refund

    Just when I thought Blizzard could not go lower than they already are, they release this unfinished, rushed piece of ''project'' that desecrates the memory of is predecessor. It saddens me to my very core what this company has become. I'm utterly dissapointed with Warcraft 3 Reforged.

    Warning to all. Do not buy this game. The only thing that Blizzard managed to do in order to remaster this game is to hire an external company to upgrade models and textures. None of the promised features shown previous past videos or presentations are present. Blizzard has hyped the game up with pretty presentations to convince people to get their pre-orders in and launch the game on the release date. In turn, they can then refuse to refund for not delivering the promised product. This is a blatant cash grab by Blizzard. They clearly have not learned from their previous PR debacle.     Activision have completed the destruction of blizzard they started; this game is utter trash. Not only is it an alpha test (a beta wouldn't be so buggy) , but forcing all users to `upgrade` to the new battlenet - removed the ability to play my purchased WC3 from CD! Pretty sure there are laws against that in the EU.....

    Pathetic. Outsourced models are out of place and clash horribly. All the charm and features are gone. What we have now is a not a Blizzard product, it's some sorry excuse for a game that anyone who put their name on working on this should be ashamed.

    I just can't believe this as passed Blizzard's QA.
    - Missing assets/models for some doodads and units in the campaign
    - Cutscenes aren't improved as advertised.
    - Can't resize the UI
    - Multiplayer is now region locked.
    - Almost every custom games are broken
    - Can't play warcraft classic anymore. You can't escape the crap Reforged delivered.

    When I was a teen, Blizzard was releasing the best new innovative games in gaming history. I thought they could never go wrong. On top of that, my dad and I used to deliver to the Blizzard branch in Sydney on a regular basis. Then came along the merge with Activision, and I watched the building complex decay from creative to generic... Please don't ruin Diablo 4 next.

    WC3 Reforged needs "more work my lord"... I love the warcraft series! So I've been eagerly waiting for this to come out. I pre-purchased and never got access to the old game (as promised) or access to the beta multi-player (also as promised). Then the game was delayed multiple times and when I finally downloaded it.... it didn't work at all. So I spent hours trying to trouble shoot since IWC3 Reforged needs "more work my lord"... I love the warcraft series! So I've been eagerly waiting for this to come out. I pre-purchased and never got access to the old game (as promised) or access to the beta multi-player (also as promised). Then the game was delayed multiple times and when I finally downloaded it.... it didn't work at all. So I spent hours trying to trouble shoot since I have no issues with other games or programs and my computer is a gaming rig with a gtx 1070 (a laughable overkill for more than the requirements) I have yet to get the game to run! I was finally so frustrated that I brought out an old laptop and finally got the game to run on it but it frequently crashes between single player levels and multi player won't even run. It just crashes. It's really sad that Blizzard stopped caring about what gamers want and are only concerned with satisfying investors (even though I own blizzard stock) and the new Chinese based owners...… Expand

    I'm not sure what Blizzard did with all the extra time it got by delaying the release. The final version is filled with bugs, was clearly not ran through a QA department, absolutely horrendous from a performance perspective, replaces the existing game with this new version and just all around stinks.     Oh, there's a memory leak in the main campaign to boot - so you have to exit and restart after every map anyway. Fantastic.     As a Warcraft 3 fan I was ecstatic that Blizzard decided to revamp it. I bought the pre-order, but the game plays and feels like **** compared to what was promised.

    The lack of polish from what was promised makes this game feel like a cheap Chinese ripoff.

    I genuinely feel like I've been scammed. This was my last ever Pre-order.

    I've played Warcraft III for 12 years. I can accept being sold a bad product. It happens. Losing $30 never killed anyone. When a developer has the audacity to make a mandatory update that removes the most endearing features in a classic title, take "moral ownership" of its community's mods, falsely advertise new features, and try to charge their player base for it? That's utterly unacceptable.

A few days after I bought the game for the sole reason of playing custom games I played 10 years ago like naruto vs bleach is now under new policy to ban 3rd party licensed content. No clans so goodbye old friends. No ladder so goodbye ranking. The menus are worse somehow. Animations still capped at 20 fps. Many removed features from classic. The textures are a tad better when zoomed all the way in but in order to play the game you must be zoomed all the way out which now makes any texture upgrade provided barely noticable. Classic users are forced to integrate to this new structure which is a major downgrade from what they we're playing. That's just the tip of the ice berg so in other words this is a game to stay clear from.… Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
