    Just a complete and total garbage cash grab. They lied about many of the features and then took many away. Telling players their custom creations will be the company's is just a shady practice. Warcraft 3 reforged should just bury itself a hole and climb in to die. Any positive reviews are most likely the game developers trying to bilge their sinking ship while their all ready under water.

    It's one thing to lie to your fans about what's coming out, it's another to release a clearly incomplete, buggy game. Even after the disaster release that was Arkham Knight PC    The company that gave us the games that we adoringly grew up with, is long gone. I was looking forward to the masterpiece the day it was announced, and here we are with probably THE WORST release of all time.

    It's one thing to lie to your fans about what's coming out, it's another to release a clearly incomplete, buggy game. Even after the disaster release that was Arkham Knight PC release, Rocksteady had the decency to pull the game off the shelves to work out the bugs.

    Now I've spent a good $30 on a game in which, 1) I got banned because I demanded a refund. 2) I can no longer play the original classic that I own 3) Is nothing more than just a simple remodel of some characters (The terrain is almost EXACTLY the same)

    Sitting at the top of this corporation are nothing more than men in business suits, who couldn't give two craps about our complaints, only the quarterly review of their cash flow. As far as I'm concerned, Blizzard is dead, and I will sit down and enjoy the flood of lawsuits that will follow on after this.

    P.S. The cut scenes, graphic changes and what have you are still blatantly being showcased on the game's official site. Well done Activision (because deep down we all know you were the ones who screwed things up.)    … Expand

    Nada de lo que prometieron aparece en el juego, de hecho es peor que el original en cuanto a rendimiento, solo agregaron unas texturan en HD y para las tiendas. es un timo total. y para aquellos que no han leido el EULA y la aceptaron, les resumo, practicamente les estas vendiendo el alma a Blizzard.

    This has to stop. As of now this game has little to do with what was promised. Warcraft Refunded has become a meme. And we all know a team of dedicated modders would have done a better job without "deleting" features of the old game.
    But actually the sad part is, that the size of this **** still surprises me... and I doubt Activision-Blizzard will learn anything from it.

    Blizz shot themselfs in the foot with this game, it's not a suprise how many people hate this release. 1) Graphics are bad, some models look good, some terrain look good, but 70% of it is worse than before, not to mention "portraits". And even worse, with good PC for 6K$ u still have FPS drops to 20-30. 2) Menu UI, whole client is garbage. Everything is    Warcraft 3 Refunded.

    Blizz shot themselfs in the foot with this game, it's not a suprise how many people hate this release.

    What I am most upset about is that Blizzard has REMOVED the original release that I have owned since it released. Now, I can't play it and have to play this poor quality version that must have only passed approval through the colon. I used to think Blizzard was one of the great companies. But the last few years has made me think other wise.

    people really thought that blizzard wanted to reforge WC3 for fans to enjoy? i said it on forums for half a year already and will repeat again. Blizzard saw that there is still a healthy community playing WC3 RTS and realized that they were not making money off that community. So under umbrella of "reforged" the released the same game, with new skins, however changed EULA. EULA that willpeople really thought that blizzard wanted to reforge WC3 for fans to enjoy? i said it on forums for half a year already and will repeat again. Blizzard saw that there is still a healthy community playing WC3 RTS and realized that they were not making money off that community. So under umbrella of "reforged" the released the same game, with new skins, however changed EULA. EULA that will privatize all the creativity of the fans for Blizzard. Than they will add a cash shop and will start selling skins for heroes and units. The initial price tag on "reforged". Lastly, the always Online mod, where people wont be able to play cracked version of the game around the world (new trend, cause games still get cracked and only way to secure them is the "always online"). Blizzard wanted to capitalize revenue on game, that was their mission. Under no circumstances they wanted to recreate the masterpiece for the good of all players/fans.… Expand

    Reforged is not a game, but a virus on classic Warcraft III. It managed to remove features and graphics options from a 17 year old game, which would be unbelievable if it wasn't true. This is basically malware.

    The fact that blizzard managed to downgrade an old game meanwhile taking away creative rights is a major scummy move. I am rating it a zero because I think there should be no one buying a downgrade.

    It took away everything good that the classic had: gameplay, quality, resources ... I don't recommend the game to anyone. What's more, Blizzard currently doesn't care about players and wants to keep them away because of their lack of professionalism. Congratulations. She did it because I’m going to stop playing any game they play due to lack of respect for the players...

    i bought the game one day after Blizzcon 2018.
    I would like to give 10 Points but- Game doesnt even work on lowest settings. Lags and game crushes… (Sc 2 works on highest settings etc.)
    It feels like a scam.
    im not even complaining about the difference between the announcement promises and what we actually got.

    But what we got, doesnt work…

    When we get the game we never recognised the gameplay we loved. It is more like comedy parody .

    But no, they had to release a new version with a new client and several gameplay changes and force even owners of the old version to accept this. Reforged basically removes functionalities and breaks the game for owners of the original version even if they just don't buy the new one.

    Laughably, but not unexpectedly for Activision's standards, they also require users to waive all their rights to whatever custom maps they may create and upload. It's like asking musicians to automatically waive all their rights to music they compose and record on a commercial piece of software they paid for. This absurdity will make modding (for those who care) practically dead.

    Just stay away from this pos. I was looking forward to replaying Warcraft 3, but I'll pass on this.    … Expand

    There are no 4+ hours of reworked cut scenes.
    The trailer was a blatant lie. The menu runs in 15 FPS because they decided to use a chrome ap to run it in. The audio just refuses to work all of a sudden. The game crashes.     This game deserves a score of 6/10, however if we take the out the elements it just copied from the main game, the story, the custom games(which are effectively ruined) etc.
    We are left with a 6 - 9.1/10 which is -3.1/10
    That is the score this "remake" deserves.

    On top of that they didnt give the classic campaign any of the QoL improvements they did to reforged campaign.

    Warcraft III: Reforged as a game is disappointing, and as a Remaster is a failure.

    Just horrible. Nothing like the original experience I enjoyed as a kid. A lot of content has been cut or scrapped and ot doesn't have the raw feeling the original version had. Seems like Blizzard is even worse cash-grabber as I had expected. Hope you won't mess up Diablo 4 as well. Shame on you.

    Blizzard once again shows that they don't know what their fanbase wants. And completely spits in our faces with a game not even finished on release and that actually removes features from the original. 0/10 **** blizzard

    I honestly have no patience or time to fully review this disgrace. If i try to write negative things about this game, it will probably take more time than their development process. They actually managed to released an unfinished game released 18 years ago.

    Looks nice but where are the cinematic cutscenes and fun custom stuff. I saw the trailer and was hoping for all the promised stuff, but here i am asking for a refund.

    Can I get refund of my original war3 copy? Well, it's phase I guess will be shutdown every single private war 3 server. Seems like Activision are on devil mission to destroy every single games blizzard made.

    Just refunded the game. Full of lies, only a texture pack, they cut the old great game. Make a worse game for 30 dollars, dont get it. (Music is missing in cutscenes, false advetised it) game modes are missing no ladders....

    Так зафейлить ремастер своего Шедеврального проекта это Позорно!!! Где Та Близард для которой "игроки"(разработчики) делают игру для игроков, где пресловутое выражение "Когда будет готово", где наконец Качество игр, которым так восхищались все поклоники близард. Это все смыли в унитаз действующие ныне сотрудники той великой компании. Мало того, что они обманули поклонников с кадрамиТак зафейлить ремастер своего Шедеврального проекта это Позорно!!!     This game still brings me to a nostalgia trip, this has been my favorite game for many years after all, but Reforged is wrong, it's just wrong...     It was the perfect opportunity to bring a masterpiece back to life, but it's obvious that they just dont care anymore. Why would someone who still care about his franchise bring this abomination to the market and ask their fans to pay 30€ for it?
    Lots of important features missing, yes, but you still have the chance to spend more money to add some additional skins, they didn't forget to include that....
    Thank you Blizzard for ruining what everybody thought it was impossible to ruin... and congratulations for completely destroying in just a couple of years your well earned reputation.

    They removed all the possibilities to be creative in creating custom maps. And they can simply remove custom games if they dont like them. Also they're forcing thia policy on users of the old Warcraft. And the final product is not even close to what was promised and advertised

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
