    This Game broke my heart. I played the original one 15 years ago and I always loved and lived Warcraft. This game is a mess and a shame, not just for blizzard. Its a shame for the whole gaming industry.

    Blizzard stopped letting us run the classic edition. WHY? Feel bad I cannot login the classic BN on the reforged edition. The SC remastered has the BN interface to let us login using our old accounts, but this game doesn't let us do it. I am afraid my old WC3 accounts and records disappear. Feel bad man...

    A game almost 2 decades old with still thousand of people playing - just gone. Only for you having a small chance of capitalizing on someone else's intellectual property. Blizzard you are more than dead, you are a walking corpse of activision. Pls stop touching any of your original franchises.

    I don’t often rate games, but this game is so disappointing I created an account just to rate on how horrible this was. Blizzard has turned a masterpiece into a piece of rubbish, they are no longer the Blizzard we know. DO NOT BUY WASTE OF MONEY.

    Blizzard mentiu bastante aqui, como pode um jogo refeito ser pior que o de 2002, removeram muita coisa da campanha e não tem custom game em single player... parece um beta mal terminado. As dublagens em português ficaram até boas mas foram ofuscadas pela diferença em termos de gráficos e gameplay do que foi mostrado antes do lançamento.

    Sincerely, the lack of shame and respect towards their users has reached all the limits with this 'game' launch and with the patch 8.3 of wow. But hey !! dont forget to pay 6 months at once to get your rat mount :D !!

    This is a terrible scam by Blizzard, don't buther buying it's a waste of money and time. They didn't put most of what was promised in to the game, they steal your work by taking all rights on custom maps made by people in this game and they sell you an incomplete clown fiesta with tons of bugs.

    I hoped to see a truly reworked campaign which is closer to WoW, as Blizzard promised themselves. And I got only a poor remaster with bad lighting and most missions completely or almost completely unchanged. Also I can't normally play single games, and custom campaign mode is completely absent. What a shame!

    i see some people and critics dont know everything about this game.Me and many player of orginal warcraft 3 get upgrade whitch is 40GB size (we get reforge but without models =/) we lose orginal dubbing and get all of this **** bugs of reforge thats a **** joke because of this new models in re forge are in 30fps so if u have better computer u get worse graphic thats

    I think it makes no sense to explain what is wrong with this game, what is wrong with Blizzard, what is wrong with Activision and why I put another zero on Metacritic to this game. This remaster doesn't deserve the slightest attention and money from the fans of Warcraft 3.

    лаги и прочее - это стандарт близзард ,чесс слово я все игры купил от близзард

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Blizzard are basically just charging for a poorly done reskin job, whilst removing a lot of the features that made the original wc3 so fun. The game is extremely buggy and poorly done, and even the completed cutscene from the original announcement (and which is still on their product page!) isn’t in the game. It’s been replaced by something far worse. Blizzard have fallen far from their days of “trademark Blizzard polish”. This is yet another recent example of how poor their products are now.

    The announcement of a remaster of a beloved and classic game. Pretty forgotten genre, but still generally liked. All the promises about newer UI, cinematics, animations and other improvements. Hype is real. There is no way this can go even remotely bad.

    I wanted to buy it to play with the creators' part again. Because it is the game that many other games were born out thanks to the tools that it provided, but the TOS of this game just shows that the company no longer values the gaming industry and are heads and toes into short term gains and greed. Until the company board is changed I will abstain from playing these publishers games any longer.

    Nothing as promised. Bad graphic and animation, runs poorly on my 2k$ computer. The new cinematics are gone. Not worth 30 euro at all.

    This update affects the original game so whether you decided to buy the Reforged version or not you are going to have issues with your game, especially playing online maps.

    The new Blizzard has defecated on my childhood. The only thing I can do in retaliation is defecate on their Metacritic score. If I could give it a -100 out of 10 I would had. Believe me, it is that bad.

    Its one thing that the reforged version is not goot, but killing the old version just sucks. There no actual way to play ladder, except for the netease client in China. Reforged killed the old game and its 20 years old community.

    Everybody is hating this game for costing 30€ and being just a "graphics mod". And okay if you want to play classic WC3 you can. There's just that thing that this is also nostalgia and at the same time something entirely new. I have no regrets for paying 30€ for this because so far I've spent about 20-30 hours in this game and I enjoyed every second... The graphics are awesome and the onlyEverybody is hating this game for costing 30€ and being just a "graphics mod". And okay if you want to play classic WC3 you can. There's just that thing that this is also nostalgia and at the same time something entirely new.     Also ruined custom games, custom games always have been the lifeline of Warcraft 3.
    And why did the original warcraft 3 players gets treated like this.

I'm glad I didn't bother preordering it, because the effect it had on my copy of Warcraft III Classic was bad enough! There are a lot of things I don't mind and actually thought were pretty cool and could breathe some new life into an old favorite--the updated home main menu including a chat lobby, portraitsI made an account just to express my overwhelming disappointment with this game.     ... And then I tried to play the campaign. Nowhere to be found were the second half of the Exodus of the Horde levels despite having had them as bonus maps from The Frozen Throne. Nowhere to be found was my old clan--luckily we stay in touch via Discord or that could have been the death knell for a decades-long group of friends. Nowhere to be found was my beloved Hard-mode save file commemorating my first time beating the game on, well, Hard.

    Screw me, never mind beating the game. The game is so ridden with bugs, glitches, and general reeking incompetence, I mean absolutely lousy with them (like a late-state syphilis patient), that I can't even play the campaign on Classic anymore. Nope--I get through the two tutorial levels they so magnanimously 'allowed' me to keep, then as soon as I start playing through the Human campaign (which I have to do to unlock the other campaigns) YOINK! I get through the cutscene where Medivh attempts to warn King Terenas... only to be greeted with the defeat screen. This persists through multiple attempts at reinstall.

    This is a level of "polish" I would expect from a developer on par with Digital Homicide, or perhaps mid-2010s Ubisoft.

    I think everything has been said before me about this game. My score is based on the fact, that I can't even play the game on my high end gaming rig, because it is lagging constantly (5-10 FPS).
    Update: I modify my score from 2 to 4, because they gave me a refund.

    I have pre-ordered this crap when it was first announced, hoping it would bring me back to playing this gem. Waited for so long and paid a LOT of money for so little work done.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
