I used to play a huge lot of your games, but this had me uninstall your launcher and cancel my subscription to WoW because I fear for Shadowlands.

    This is the new Fallout 76. The game isn't worth the money and they dragged the classic version down with it. It's the least minimum they needed to do to be able to label it a remaster. Besides all the in-game problems you have a user agreement that takes everything you would want to create with the game away from you.     Never played wc3 but some of my friends did and it was a really good game, BUT I've played starcraft2 and NOW the CUSTOM GAME is completely gutted (and i loved it) since new blizzards TOS screw with all modded games, so thank you blizzard.

The update is sad anyway, it’s like Blizzard were just treating this like a mobile game with minimal graphical upgrades except they forgot to reconfigure the UI.

    Flat out insult to the gamers - basically just a mod with some new character models; and the cinematics are done with something like the Valve SFM? At least do the video artwork right after charging 30 $ for a game worse than the original.

    I have payed for and played every game that Blizzard has made until now. I have even uninstalled the battle.net client even though I had started getting into StarCraft 2 again out of sheer disgust due to how this whole thing has been handled.

    I would always speculate with friends as to what company would be the next "Blizzard Killer." As it turns out, they have actually been their own undoing. The power corrupted their souls, just like Arthas...

    The original Warcraft 3 was my childhood and this "Remake"has all but crushed what was once one of the best RTS games. And the greed to demand the rights to all custom game mods thats made is something that should never be in a game. to many bugs and false advertisment together with blizzard refusing refunds makes this the worst remake ever made. Go buy Age of Empiers 2: Definitive Edition instead

Warcraft 3: Refunded also doesn't include any of the previously promised NEW CUTSCENES.

    Don't even think about buying this abomination. Waste of money, waste of time, despoliation of the childhood memories, an act of public defecation directed at the faces of the existing w3 community.

    Ставлю 0 не потому что игра уж совсем плоха, нет, ее можно было бы оценить на 3-5, т.к она все же играбильна.
    Ноль она заслуживает по следующим причинам:
    1) Ложные ожидания: Множество того что обещано попросту не сделано.
    2) Синематик, который запутывает еще больше, чем то что вышло в итоге
    3) 12 99 рублей за абсолютно ничего нового
    4) Меню, написанное на веб странице хрома, которое лагает
    5) Наверное, самое главное: Feedback, а точнее, его полное отсутствие. Даже с таким диким хейтом, от части незаслуженным (нужно хейтить не продукт, а его создателя,ведь в игру как-то да можно играть). Я не представляю, как можно отмалчиваться в такой ситуации. Вы сами это создали, а теперь как дети малые, даже не можете ответить за ваше поведение и за ваш продукт.

As it means with a successful gamemode; Blizzard can steal and redistribute that gamemode without the original author being credited or compensated. It also means the last 15 years of custom maps (campaigns, etc) will not be added to Remastered as a direct result.

    This is a travesty. and sadly. it's all that's expected of modern Blizzard. actually so out of touch with reality they destroy their own legacy without a second thought. disgusting and shameful.    … Expand

Warcraft 3 is maybe my favorite game of all time. I've got thousands of hours invested in it's multiplayer. When I heard about this remaster, I was thrilled beyond words.

    I am of the opinion that the balancing, story and game play of the original game were just about perfect- the ONLY thing dated in that game to date, were the graphics. So the only thing I wanted out of this remaster was updated visuals- and I got exactly that. The new models and textures are absolutely incredible when compared to the old game, the difference is night and day. You can zoom ALL THE WAY IN and the models still looks incredible.

    I'm about 1/3rd of the way through the campaign and have not run across a single bug, performance issues- or any problems at all. For the life of me, I cannot comprehend all of the negativity surrounding the user reviews- for some reason it seems that people had the expectation that this was a sequel and are outraged that there is no new content and that the story wasn't changed.... this is a **** remaster of the original... it's NOT Warcraft 4. I knew EXACTLY what I was getting when I bought this, because I'm not a moron. If you loved the original and you just wanted a visual upgrade, this is a fantastic buy, especially on a 4K set-up.    … Expand

    The critic reviews are horse **** a 75 and 60? Are they reviewing like this is a new game? They should purely review the reforged aspects. And they are piss poor unfortunately.
    The HD treatment is half assed, and there are tons of other problems for 30/ 40 euro..

    Disappointing. I preordered the game. I was looking forward to revisiting one of my favorite games, but due to the sweeping changes and broken promises I could not enjoy it.

    Overall it limps in rifled with issues and removed features that made WC3/frozen throne enjoyable.

    Warcraft 3: Refunded. I have just requested a refund. I was hopeful that Blizzard took it seriously, and that the game would be amazing, because they decided to take an entire month extra for quality control. Jokes on us though, it was just waiting longer for a heap of laggy / buggy **** with hardly any of their promises on Blizzcon becoming reality.

    Missing content, bugs, poor performance, shady policies for world editor, and a forced downgrade to the classic version. This is not a remaster, this is not a remake, this is not reforged, this is an insult to one of the greatest and most iconic games in PC history.

    Such a shame that Blizzard left their player base with this game as it is, this game should had been in the dev cycle for at least another 6 months to have everything that was promissed to the players. As soon as I hopped in the game and tried the campaign I had already seen 3-4 bugs.     No promises upheld. Character model updates are basically irrelevant, you'll spend the game as zoomed out as possible. Made it so you have to find a backdoor way just to play a versus with only AI. Locked our original games. Goodbye Blizzard, you have forever lost a customer.

    I don't even care if the remaster is bad, i just wanted to play the original I paid for but doesn't seem like it's going to happen anytime soon because I can't even get to the main menu anymore, after the update.

    Asked for a refund. The critics reviews don’t make any sense: « this is not what was promised but it’s still a good game ». If I buy a car with park assist and they give me a car without it while i paid exactly for that i wont go « well at least i can still drive it! ». They sold us a lie. Blizzard should be ashamed.

    • HD Character models are great!
    • Cutscenes virtually unchanged
    • Dialogue has been edited in places (some more noticeable than others)
    • Dialogue glitches/repeats in cutscenes
    • Menu/UI Glitches
    • Stuttering after prolonged play
    • Less new content than advertised
    • WorldEdit EULA states you give Blizzard literally all your rights, including "moral rights"

    When I saw they were remaking WarCraft III, I thought "cool", and forgot about it until I bought the game 6 hours before it was unlocked. I was torn: buy WarCraft III for the third time (originally bought WC3, then Collector's Edition afterwards) at $30, or Deluxe ("Spoils of War") to get the Thrall model for online games...then I thought, "$10 just to use Thrall in multiplayer matches?" and bought the cheaper version.

    I had avoided all advertising/conversations on WC3: Reforged. As I was downloading the game, I saw walking animations being used by character models in one of the animated ads. It was then, I realized "Oh, they've actually added in more than just higher resolution models/textures!"

    The game starts. I select Play Offline. The menu loads, it looks cool. I go into options and start tweaking; suddenly the menu vanishes and I'm back at the main menu in Online mode. This happens every time. Once, I was quick enough to start loading the campaign—half way through loading, it booted me back to the main menu, with no mouse cursor. Original WC3 had hotkeys for all menu options; Reforged doesn't. Had to Alt-F4.

    The Campaign: They pulled a George Lucas, subtly editing certain lines of dialogue:

    Grunt: "The Warchief the human mentioned...maybe they're referring to—HELLSCREAM?"
    Thrall: "I don't know, but if they have captured—HELLSCREAM, I'll make them regret it."

    Pretty noticeable. The new models look great, but most of the cutscenes are shot-for-shot remakes, unlike what the advertising showed (I watched videos after playing, for comparison). I ran into bugs; characters repeating their lines of dialogue as the cutscene changed scenes or gameplay resumed (looking at you, Undead Arthas). The Menu bugs are rather severe; several occasions, I'd unpause the game, but the game is still darkened and paused, so I'd have to re-open the pause menu and close it again, to get the game working once more.

    After running the game for about 1.5 hours, a stutter issue started happening: selecting/ordering units would cause the game to freeze for a fraction of a second; very noticeable, and only resolved by restarting the game.

    It's my hope that the glitches can be fixed with patches. It's a lingering disappointment for all the game's visual upgrades, the core of the game itself seems either untouched or slightly fractured. I genuinely appreciate the opportunity to play a nostalgic classic with a more modern look, and I thank the developers that basically created a modding overhaul to do so...

    But there was less here than was advertised, and that falls on the shoulders of the Publisher and their Marketing Campaign, and that's where the 0/10 is really directed. The game itself, as a remaster, I'd give 6/10: a nostalgic game, with an HD upgrade, a strange choice of little edits here and there, but overall mostly functional.

    But it's a game that comes from Blizzard-Activision, a company with an operating income of two billion dollars (as of 2018). If their leadership had true, genuine passion and love for their games, WarCraft III: Reforged could have been a masterwork, revitalizing and reintroducing a classic to a new generation. It partly succeeded, but it could have...if not, should have, been better than what it was advertised to be.

    And that kind of dishonesty in advertising deserves 0/10 rating. It's a rating to show how little they as a company are to be trusted by gamers. Activision-Blizzard doesn't deserve your money. Be careful about how, when, and on what you choose to give your money to them.    … Expand

    I played TFT from 2005. Blizzard deleted TFT and gived this trash. I didn't asked for it, it's totaly trash and PC requiriment is not like was with TFT. Thats why i hate this game

    To start: I loved WC3 as a kid. I played countless hours of online and custom games. I loved the campaign. I read the manual that came with the game to get more of the lore! I went HAM for warcraft 3 back in the day. I bought this on day 1 because I was so excited to get back into WC3.

This is the worse release to come out of blizzard it is completly unplayable on my super computer with the graphics turned up at all, I am forced to play in classic mode which still ran far better on the old engine. There is no new content, multiplayer dosnt work the friend system and chat system are broken. This was nothing more than a way for blizzard to take 30 dollars from all the people enjoying the old game by not letting them play anymore without downgrading.… Expand

    Not only was nearly everything we were promised lies. But they actually managed to downgrade the original with more restrictions on custom maps, among all sorts of bugs.

    Want to just go back to the original? Sorry! Activision thought it would be nice if they forcibly downgraded every copy of the original game into this.

    It's one thing to mess up a remake of a classic game. It's another thing to back-patch said classic game and mess that up too. I can still watch the original version of A New Hope where Han shot first. I can't play the original Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne now that Activision-Blizzard dumped it down a digital memory hole.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
