    Warcraft 3 is such a amazing experience too bad they delivered a terrible product.
    False advertising, bait & switch, i was actually excited and stopped playing WC3(original) for awhile. Since this was going to be out soon, but it looks like you cant even do that now. l loved playing the campaign and playing custom games, they took a game with numerous ways to play and crippled it, this is    Warcraft 3 is such a amazing experience too bad they delivered a terrible product.

Since this was going to be out soon, but it looks like you cant even do that now. l loved playing the campaign and playing custom games, they took a game with numerous ways to play and crippled it, this is just a money grab, you're paying $50 for updated models with all the cool things taken out
    and now all the bugs and faults are also in the other 17year old game and this is after they said "sorry dont worry we'll do better we're BLIZZARD!" so this is the new Blizz

    I would give a higher rating, although the game is broken, however, false advertising is too much, this is unacceptable. At the premiere of diablo III I turned a blind eye, but here they gone too far.

    11. Полностью убиты кастомки(новым лицензионным соглашением и копирайтом).
    12. Изменена легендарная русская локализация на гораздо более хуевую, зато с орком-подкастером
    13. Нет обещанной на анонсе переделки. роликов(самый сок - обещание до сих пор висит на странице покупки).
    14. Единственная новая цг катсцена, бой иллидана с Артасом, выглядит хуже, чем фанатские работы
    15. Нет обещанной переделки сюжета.
    16. Больше нельзя убивать детей. Даже когда по сюжету устраиваешь бойню нежитью, должен их обходить.
    17. Убрали ламповые 3д задники в меню и заменили на хуевое бездушное 2д(Выяснили, что это полностью web-приложение на Хроме, от того и лагает как гавно, потому что работает на одном ядре и хавает память, поэтому на заднике на ламповое игровое 3Д а какой-то флеш или браузерное видео.)

    19. Классический вк3 удален из магазина, его владельцам теперь доступен только рефорж, но без новой графики. При этом, ты все равно должен скачать все 30 гигов.
    20. Заготовка под донатные скины в мультиплеере.
    21. В оригинале, по непонятной причине, удалили некоторые меметичные фразы у персонажей. Например, "Im wasted" у дриады.
    22. Для смены хоткеев надо редактировать текстовый файл в папке игры. Причём тебе об этом сообщают прямо в настройках игры и даже заботливо говорят путь.
    23. Графика переключается только из меню(это не норма для ремастеров).
    24. Освещение, эмбиент оклюжен не завезли.
    25. Сглаживание вообще не завезли. Опцию что включай, что выключай - толку нет.
    26. В варкрафте без ремастера убрали в настройках возможность включать тени, они есть только в ремастере.    … Expand

    Truly a disappointment. There was a time when Blizzard was unstoppable; all of their games top-notch. Now I'm hard pressed to ever want to spend money on this company again.

    Waste of $30. Get your refund while you can. Nothing at all like what was promised. Blizzard, like Bioware before them, is now officially part of the once great studios that have forsaken what made them gaming royalty in exchange for a quick buck. Shame on you Blizzard.     I have being a fan of Blizzard ever since they were not even Blizzard yet (from S&S days). I have seen the passion of the likes of Mike Morhaime and Chris Metzen. After Activision that fire burned out, that passion for games ended. How could the old Blizzard, the one who never released a game that was not stellar, do this?     Can't believe how close I was to preordering this on the grounds of, how could they mess up WC3?? That has to be impossible, but man was I wrong. The game studio I loved throughout my childhood is gone and still stands in name only, RIP Blizzard.

    First time i've seen a "remaster" that lacks features the original game had, and introduces new bugs the original game didn't had. Instead of a remaster this is more of a downgrade and a cashgrab.

    Warcraft 3 was my favorite game for years. I played locally and online, normal and custom games, hell I enjoyed it more than Starcraft. The story brought me to WOW, DOTA brought me to LOL. Over the years I kept coming back to it, I loved that game. This is not that game. Political correctness/sexism (aka feminism) and greed/poor management killed this game.

    Rehashed not reforged. Expecting high quality graphics, stunning cinematics, smooth gameplay... fell short. Clunky, old stuff rehashed not built again, pathing is awful just completely let down by this disappointing, not even worth a £5

    Just to counteract some of the salt. None of the "problems" with the game are a big deal. The game got a graphical update which is the only thing that was really promised. The Culling trailer clearly stated that it wasn't final, and we all know that means it will never look that good. Everything else can be worked out through bug reports and patches...

    While the art has been updated in Warcraft III: Reforged, the game does not include content which was demonstrated at Blizzard Entertainment's events, yet material from that period of time is used in all the online ads that you see on video sites or on their OWN STORE. More features were removed from the base game than this expansion adds.

    It's brazen to make changes to a game that came out 17 years ago with the goal of restricting how users use it and bizarre to charge users for a package which isn't quite what it claims to be.

    There are new art assets in the game, although the art style seems to differ a bit from the direction that they took with World of Warcraft. Overall, it's pretty good though.

    Basically, you're getting new models added to a 17 year-old game with a worse online experience than what the game offered a week ago, which is a product which far more loosely fits the description of a video game product.

    WHAT YOU GET FOR $40/$50 USD:
    - New art assets from the trailer, but none of the cinematic events described in the trailer
    - Widescreen aspect ratio

    Could have been $10/$15 dollars? This was more about reconciling the EULA and I expect it will speed up the eventual demise of the game, after this wave of renewed interest dies down. It is overall a downgrade for long-term users of the old product.    … Expand

    Personally, after having been a Blizzard fanboi since I first played Warcraft 2 in 1996 and having gotten every single Blizzcon virtual ticket since they became available, the 2018 Blizzcon marked an inflection point. I had already stopped playing all of their games in the past couple of years, so that was the last straw... or so I thought.

    Because, somehow, the Reforged announcement DID give me hope and DID hype me quite a lot. Maybe, if they did this right, it would see a well-deserved resurgence.
    Maybe this updated campaign, with new storylines and updated cut-scenes and cinematics, would give the already awesome story even more memorable moments and general awesomeness.
    Maybe the E-Sports aspect of the whole thing would get back on track, I couldn't wait to hit the ladder, watch streamers and tournaments to no end.
    The last time my brother and I actively played videogames together was with Warcraft 3's custom games... Uther Party, DOTA, Tower Defense... maybe we could relive these moments with a new, updated look. Maybe we could see new custom games rise and ultimately succeed as standalones. Maybe we could even create some of these ourselves.

    But no, it was all a lie. None of the promises came true. On top of that, they broke the old game in the process. It's that bad, I cannot fathom how anyone at Blizzard was okay with releasing this game as is. Smells like corporate greed screwing the devs over, but still...

    This time for sure, this is the last straw. They won't see a single cent from me, not as a pre-purchase, not as a regular purchase, not with D4, not with any other BS they might throw at us in the coming years. I'm done.    … Expand

    I actually enjoy this game. Just jumping on the band wagon and pooping all over this game. Non conformist that I am, i sure do miss my OG DOTA. Did I hit the minimum characters yet? Guess not, I'll keep blabbering. I never got to play the original campaign in WC3 Reign of Chaos, so this is a delightful experience for the first time, as **** as the experience is, it's fresh.

    I bought this game because of the nostalgic feelings i have from the original Warcraft 3 and I was absolutley blown away with all the promises made to the game (I am a huge warcraft lore fan). But they over promised and under delivered. I am absolutely dumbfounded that they could do this to one of their own games that has seen so much love from the community. It feels that it turned out so disappointing because the head people at activision rushed this.     does blizzard has something valuable left in their games list? wow classic? game from 2004... or starcraft from 2010. for me they are gone, won't give a penny to them. probably they should do something more 'interesting' like candy crash, they can handle it with proper quality (not sure)

    I was streaming this game and trying to say good things about it by zooming in on the models. . . Then I discovered more problems. WAY MORE PROBLEMS. Like, "being able to see through models," kinda problems. And the "awkward UI with the sides showing the map" problems. And "The humans look like drug addicts" problems. And "The high elves look middle-aged and older" problems. And so. Much. MORE.

The Reforged edition doesn't bring any substancial improvements on the table and in-fact downgrades the original game in numerous ways. And even after that, consider really hard if you want to take part in this travesty.… Expand

    Very buggy, there’s boxes everywhere and seems scaled back greatly from what was promised. I’ve played it for a couple of hours and I’m very disappointed.

It's really a shame that the last chance they had to revive the franchise was pissed away, possibly, more so than Diablo 3.     downgrade to the classic UI, lot of bugs, cut off of many important aspects of the old game ( clan system, ranked games, lan games,friend list etc...) the skins are ok but the game its very BAD OPTIMIZED causing average computers long loading times, worth a refund? i would say no, worth the price they asked for? not even the half.

    Forgetting the copyright issues with custom games, the lack of advertised remastered cutscenes, new voiceover work and altered lore the game is not even up to the same standard of the original released in 2002, it's glitchy , campaign can make you lose without clicking , online servers disconnect , no decent online ladder system and much more. Blizzard dropped the ball with this one.

    This game is utter and absolute garbage. It tramples on every single part of what made the PvP and custom games fun.     On top of that it's build on a throne of lies even the great deceiver wouldn't utter. Nothing works as intended. Most if not all the "cool" features presented at 2018's Blizzcon are missing but stuff that was working just fine before is now broken. You no longer have profiles for example. No clans, chat feels constricted and won't even scroll itself properly. I mean what? Event old games made in early 90's had auto scrolling. Are you telling me this game was built by actual juniors with no prior knowledge? Because I have to tell that if I were in charge of doing this project alone from 2018's Blizzcon to now it would suck but I'm 100% certain I wouldn't have broken as much as they did.
    The state this beloved game is in is an outrage and the fact it's charged like a normal game is even more so.
    I don't even want a refund. I want my game as it was presented to us. I think as a Blizzard customer that has been faithful to their brand for the last 23 years and sank unfathomably long hours into their games, I deserve at least to know that the game that I love isn't being desecrated.
    I'm sorry to hear that Blizzard is now a greedy cashgrabing company. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice and I'll never buy their games ever again.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
